Judges' Remarks: The combination of Lego figures and clay environments, and the stop-motion animation, was an impressive achievement and made this a lot of fun to watch! I appreciated how closely the camera followed the various characters—sometimes the problem with stop-motion is that the camera is held too far away, making for boring cinematography, but all these shots were intensely close, adding to the feeling of urgency. I loved the way you made it look like the Lego figure was "jumping in" the water by removing his head, then body, then legs as he seems to disappear into the clay water. Also, tinting the camera blue for the underwater scene was inspired. The clay environments were beautifully elaborate and the stop-motion animation was detailed and fluid. Although it would have been a lot more effective and easier to follow if there had been sound, I enjoyed the animation of this a lot!
