[LinkedUniverse AU]: Farore's Spirits - 8 / 9 Heroes and their Spirits.

Note: the sketch colours do not have any significant meaning and is mostly part of how I differentiate multiple characters on the same page.

Here are the original 2021 sketches that are part of the Farore's Spirits. This is a redrawing of the original Farore's Spirits which I did tease about back...on January 2022 but then stuff happened. And it has been sitting in my WIP folder since then. :')

This is for a headcanon / fun idea of the nine Heroes gaining an animal spirit companion which represents their strongest attributes. And they are all are originally "blessings" from Farore, though this may changed along with what Wild's role is with the new context from TotK. Hence why Wild's not included in this set.

Will I ever come back and finish these off? Mayhaps. It will be while though... :D

Power Conduit AU

Hey guys! Here's an AU i made up for Lego Monkie Kid (rather randomly might i add.) There is some shadowpeach (though its more of a past relationship right now) and spicynoodle here, and Mei is a pure chaotic gremlin (plz help i love her so much!)

So, how things go in this AU is that Macaque does make a deal with LBD like in canon, but the extra catch for him is that he wanted a child that was his and Wukong's, so LBD granted that wish. Qi Xiotian was the product of said wish, and was kept prisoner as an incentive for Macaque to do exactly what she asked without fail.

His fear of spiders was gotten from his years in her lair since they often taunted and tormented him relentlessly, but the day he escaped from that horrible place was the day he unintentionally met his soulmate, Red Son. During the sealing if the Sumari fire, MK sensed that something wasn't right and instinct took over, leading him to use his Ma's shadow portal and abilities to reach the pillar where the fire was being sealed.

Without hesitation, he, a tiny monkey jumped into the flames to hug Red Son and incidentally absorbed a piece of the sumari fire. When DBK caught the two in his hands, he could see the red string of fate shimmering between them. (im pretty sure that's also a chinese thing or a variation of it. I'll need to research. So this may be subject to change.)

After that, Macaque barely managed to take his baby back without the others knowing, (they were debating what to do with MK at this point and not completely watching him.) But LBD found an interesting feature of MK that she could not see before.

MK is capable of storing large amounts of power comfortably, (hence the AU name Power Conduit) and a piece of the Sumari fire barely scratched the surface on his capacity. LBD planned to use MK for her goals, something Macaque did NOT agree with at all. So he helped his son escape, staying with LBD in order to keep her off his sons tail for as long as possible.

However, she did make a collar-like device for MK to keep the flame in a dormant state. I don't have an exact idea, but the jist is some sort of metal collar with cloth and chain attached to a sealing ring on the end. MK only has one piece of the fire, and there's now five in total. His goal after running away is to find all the pieces of the fire and free his ma.

Red Son and Mei also make an appearance and tag along with MK on his quest, and the other two have more demonic/draconic features, like Red Son having cow hooves and Mei having a dragon tail.

So the young group set out to steal the rings and free Macaque. I should mention that the stoplight trio are very young during this AU, like 5-7 perhaps?

Mk has dark brown fur with some orange streaks in it, four ears, and i gave him a longer tail instead of two like some artists do just to differentiate him from other designs.

MK is still a no thoughts head empty baby though, Mei is absolutely chaotic and bored (a deadly combination) and Red Son is the only one in the group with a working braincell.

Red Son has Autism and MK has ADHD (and is still trans, let's not forget that.)

And all the adults are scrambling to figure out 'who are these children?' 'Where are their parents?' And 'WHY are they after the rings?'

This is all i have so far and its a basic jist of my thought proccess. I hope ya'll like it! Any ideas, thoughts or constructive critiscism are appreciated.

The big question: what’s your human version of doom stone??

He’s a friendly guy who loves helping others. Usually puts other’s needs above his, forgets to take care of himself. Doesn’t take long to be charmed by him, but is bad at social queues, he’s fast at helping and spends time with Free Ranger. He brings reason into play and is overtly cautious, unhealthily self aware but works great with Free Ranger. In appearance he’s a pinkish-fair chunky dude with caterpillars for eyebrows, his armor is the same except he has a cape, skirt, and sandals. I generally draw Doom Stone large, just makes sense to me. He has his normal abilities and swap power. Great at domestic chores, fighting, and crying.

I wanted to make a human version of Free Ranger because he’s a goddamn chicken and also I see a lot of thunderbird aspects in him. He loves both crowds and being alone, also a regular storm chaser. He works great with Doom Stone and usually inspires others to get up. He fills the gaps that Doom Stone can’t and still brings more, has excellent social queues and sees for himself much more. More play than work, since his work is the weather, pretty laid back for someone of the air element. In appearance he’s a golden-tan slim guy with the eyes of 1 braincell, he has all of his armor, just adjusted to a human body. I rarely draw Free Ranger since I’m not one for drawing birds but he’s a cool character. Has his normal abilities and swap power. Great at telling the weather, birdwatching, and being on the high ground.

his player and I decided to have limerick and felix start that campaign as friends, and because limerick is a shameless flirt in the stereotypical bard sort of way there was one point where jill was like 'limerick would totally go for that, juuust sayin 👀' but at the time I was like, well, I don't think felix is opposed to casual hookups actually, but I also think he's not really the friends with benefits type, and anyway we've talked about these characters together a little bit but if there's gonna be any kind of relationship beyond relatively new friendship I'd like to explore and develop it through actual roleplay in game
