Medvedev Beats Jarry To Set Sinner Semifinal In Miami
Tumblr media
Chilean Nicolas Jarry: Daniil Medvedev turned back a late charge by Chilean Nicolas Jarry en route to a 6-2, 7-6(7) win, set an Australian Open final rematch with Jannik Sinner in the semifinals of the Miami Open. Medvedev made just three unforced errors to Jarry’s 14 in the first set alone before Jarry worked his way back into the match and came within two points of stealing the second set in a rollercoaster tie-break. But Medvedev held his nerve to extend his winning streak at Hard Rock Stadium to nine matches as he moved to within two wins of successfully defending a title for the first time in his career, ATP reports. Jarry would have returned to the Top 20 and become the first Chilean to reach the Miami semi-finals since Fernando Gonzalez in 2004 had he beaten Medvedev. Earlier on the day, Sinner moved into his fourth semi-final of the year and captured a season-leading 20th match win at the Miami Open. The Italian produced a squeaky-clean performance to oust Czech player Tomas Machac 6-4, 6-2 in 91 minutes. Sinner, who has twice reached the final in Miami (2021, 2023), is into the last four for a third time. Aiming for his second ATP Masters 1000 crown, the No. 3 player in the ATP Rankings boasts a 20-1 season record with titles at the Australian Open and in Rotterdam. Read the full article

Which Is The Best Italian Restaurant East London?
The Italian restaurant in East London is as diverse as the food-loving country itself, from old-school dishes to new-style small plates, and of course, the best homemade pasta. Whether you want fresh appetizers, steaming risotto rice bowls, hearty stews or hearty tiramisu, here are the best Italian restaurants in London. Pull a stool for an aperitif, find a cosy candlelit corner or set up a large table for a family party. For more Italian inspiration, check out our best pizza places in London.
Bella Cosa is well established Italian restaurant near me in the London restaurant list, where friends, couples and colleagues gather around tables filled with Sicilian street food and fresh pasta in Canary Wharf. Starters are not an afterthought to the mains here. The creamy burrata is wrapped in slices of beet petals and the ndujaarancini comes with a kick, though the leeks, walnuts, taleggio and gorgonzola tortafritta - gooey with the crunch of the seeds - are the climax. We found it hard to resist the cacio e pepe on the menu, and the Noci was as good as butter.
Tumblr media
While the sweet scallops and pancetta pappardelle smothered in cavolonero sauce is memorable, we'll be back for the silk handkerchiefs dotted with wild mushrooms and the rich egg yolk filling. Campania serves a mix of traditional and contemporary artisanal hearty Southern Italian recipes.
The menu changes daily depending on what's fresh and available, though there are a few popular ones: the pleasant pappardelleragu and the cheese gnudi balls drenched in butter and sage. We recommend ordering the Hackney wild bread with olive oil to start and a large bowl of fresh pasta. As for the pudding, you'll want to try the rich homemade tiramisu. With only a few precious blankets, Campania quickly fills up, but the tables stretch out onto the street in the summer for alfresco dining, and in the winter, heated outdoor tables keep fingers warm. You can also try theItalian takeaways near me at the Bella Cosa restaurant.

Inspiring Italian Investor Visa Facts For A Startup Enthusiast
A startup enthusiast lives on the edge, and the challenge is more daunting for one targeting overseas markets. You may succeed, but the risk of failure is greater in a different country. Strategy and planning take you a step ahead, specifically when it comes to setting up a venture abroad. Choosing the relevant destination for your business gives you a great start. Italy is one of the most preferred destinations for global entrepreneurs because it offers easy access with an investor visa. But a lot more can inspire you to chase the goal. According to the team of Investor Visa for Italy LLC, you need not stress about eligibility requirements with this route. Here are more inspiring investor visa facts for a startup enthusiast.
You can start with an optimal investment
The most inspiring fact about the Italian investor visa is that you need not worry about funding. Although the route is devised for immigrants with a high net worth, it may just fit into your startup budget. The multiple funding alternatives empower you to get in with thousands instead of millions as a minimum investment of €250,000 suffices. So money constraints need not be a reason to give up on the dream of an overseas startup.
You need not bring the money until later
Another great thing about the Italian investor visa startup enthusiasts love is that the money has to come only after the completion of the process. You can expect to complete it only within months. Moreover, you require only a bank statement as proof of funds instead of the amount. But you should have it ready before landing in Italy because the next step is to deposit the money within three months of getting a residence permit.
You can get your family along
Although entrepreneurship is always on top of a startup enthusiast's mind, they expect to have a family too. The Italian investor visa sets you up for family immigration as you need not bring in additional funds for your loved ones. You only have to show proof of income validating your ability to support your family members financially once they arrive in Italy. So your loved ones can be a part of your long-term plans.
You have the opportunity to extend across the EU
The Italian investor visa gives you the opportunity to expand your business across the EU. You can travel visa-free to these countries as an Italian resident. So prospecting markets, attending trade shows, and traveling for client meetings are a breeze. You can land wherever you see a chance to grow. Nothing is more inspiring than a chance to go global right at the outset.
You can stay as a citizen
Setting a business overseas is only a start, and you expect to stay for good. The Italian investor visa enables you to achieve the vision as you can qualify for citizenship by pursuing the naturalization route. You have to stay as a resident for ten years and hold your funds in the country for this period. An expert can help you with status changes until you get an Italian passport.
The journey of a startup enthusiast is long, even more, when planning to set up a business abroad. The Italian investor visa is ideal for fulfilling the vision because it inspires you to stick to your dream until you materialize it.

Ivan Pedroso of Cuba is unlikey to be credited with a world record for his long jump of 8.96 meters last Saturday in Sestriere, Italy, because officials of the Italian athletics federation said Thursday they would not recommend that it be ratified.
Video tapes taken of the competition showed a man standing in front of the wind gauge during each of Pedroso's six attempts, according to an Italian federation spokesman. Of 60 jumps at the Italian Alpine resort, only four were attempted in an allowable wind of 2 meters per second of less, and three were made by Pedroso.
The following wind registered at 1.2 meters per second during the record leap. The man obstructing the gauge was identified as Luciano Gemello, a former pole vaulter who is now a professional atheltics coach in Italy.
"Each time Pedroso got up to jump, the man would go and stand up right in front of the anonometer," theItalian federation's spokesman, Enrico Jacomini, said. "He stood half a foot in front of the anonometer. He stood there for all six of Pedroso's jumps and for no one else's. We spoke to the man. He said he was very fond of the long jump, and because Pedroso was the best long-jumper in the field, he was interested only in Pedroso.

“When her mind was discomposed... a book was the opiate that lulled it to repose.” -Ann Radcliffe, The Romance of the Forest 🦊 ➡️QOTD: What are a few of your non-bookish hobbies? 🍄 🍁 It’s been a while, hasn’t it! Life has definitely picked up over the past few months and so far 2019 has been filled with ups, downs, and everything in between. I’m currently in the middle of the most hectic semester I’ve had so far and I’m constantly studying or cranking out essays and new short stories/novel projects! But since I’m on spring break this week, which means it’s my 3 year bookstagram anniversary this month, I figured I’d post just to let y’all know I’m still here and haven’t quit yet. To be honest, lately bookstagram felt like a chore and I was tired of focusing on numbers and only posting books I knew would get me more likes. BUT, that mentality is cancelled. I’ve decided that when I’m able to post I’m going to post books that bring me joy without caring about how people are going to engage with it. Bookstagram is a hobby, and I need to remember that. Thank you for being patient with me and sticking with me through all this, it means a lot to me. Here’s to 3 years, and hopefully many more 🥂 ☁️ 🍂 #theitalian #themysteriesofudolpho #theromanceoftheforest #annradcliffe #gothicliterature #romanticliterature #britishliterature #painting #book #fiction #fantasy #youngadultbooks #youngadultfiction #youngadultfantasy #bookish #bibliophile #booklover #booknerd #bookcover #bookworm #bookaddict #bookporn #bookstagrammer #bookstagram #hygge #art #writer #blogger #emmareadsforfun (at Richmond, Virginia) https://www.instagram.com/p/BupAp8fnpp9/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=ur4qm7skl9dl

Australian Open: Sinner Beats Baez; Medvedev Survives 5-set Thriller To Reach Rd- 4
Tumblr media
Margaret Court Arena: Jannik Sinner booked a ticket into the fourth round of the Australian Open with a 6-0, 6-1, 6-3 masterclass over 26th seed Sebastian Baez on Friday here at Margaret Court Arena. The fourth seed was in the driver's seat throughout, dropping just ten points on serve before wrapping up the win in 1 hour and 52 minutes. The Italian has reached the round of 16 in Melbourne for a third straight year and on Sunday, takes on 15th seed Karen Khachanov. By reaching a Grand Slam fourth round for the 11th time, Sinner broke a tie with Matteo Berrettini for second-most appearances by an Italian man at that stage of a major. His best major result was his Wimbledon semifinal showing last season. Earlier, Daniil Medvedev scripted an incredible story before everybody finally went to bed when he hit back from the brink to beat Finn Emil Ruusuvuori in a five-set thriller that finished in the early hours of Friday morning. Medvedev was outplayed by an inspired world No.53 during the opening two sets and was two points from defeat when he was serving at 4-5 in the fourth. The world No.3 used all his experience and resilience to turn the match around to somehow finish on top 3-6, 6-7(1-7), 6-4, 7-6(7-1) 6-0 in a contest lasting four hours and 23 minutes that finished at 3.39 am. It is the third time in Medvedev’s career he has recovered from a two-set deficit at a major. He will play Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime on Saturday for a place in the fourth round.
