#i. am starting to realise that I might be a river person #I’ve spent a lot of time by the ocean not in a tropical place #But in various places in this country #And yes it is nice to walk along beaches and the ocean along a pier etc #However it is not the same as walking along the river especially #When that river is surrounded by forest #And the weather’s been so nice the past couple of days #And I’ve gone on walks along the ocean but #You can only go so far here anyway #Back home I can walk along the river for kilometres on end in either direction #And it’s different it’s just different #This is not to say that I want to move back home or anything #I just I think I might be a river person #so this doesn’t really mean anything I just want to know what other people like #polls

the way all of anders' battle dialogue in da2 sounds stressed out right to the brink of hysteria is something that can actually be so personal. it's the real healer experience. anders you're herding moths constantly trying to launch themselves at any passing bonfire with your whole chest and your whole heart and you are so valid

#you can hear him all but tearing his hair out as he flits between them to get them back on their feet fhsdkjfa #obviously this is exactly what lands him in a fucking world of trouble but anders truly does just care so much at all times #dragon age #dragon age 2 #anders #for real tho the battle dialogue in DA2 is phenomenal in general #it's so in-character and so emotional -- it makes it feel so real for them to have all these ways to react to each other getting hurt #they're friends not an army! they react as if their friend or their sibling just went down in front of them!#(except fenris who delivers all his lines with the sort of dry absentmindedness you'd use for commenting on the weather #and we love him for that)#carver gets super small and scared when he gets injuries and lashes out at you because of it but he's just. afraid.#he just wants his big brother/sister to fix it and it makes him sound so young and vulnerable under the surliness ;____;#also there's so many -- and I cannot stress this enough -- EXTREMELY funny lines in there #it's the sort of detail work I'm kind of sad inquisition left behind #tho I DO understand why it's not a thing you can feasibly do when you have permutations of like nine different companions lol #but the mixed horror and disbelief whenever aveline or hawke go down -- like they are universal constants to the rest of them.......#does so much storytelling and character work in such a little space it's so *elegant* writing-wise

I was once in love with a girl who reminded me of the sea and now every sea in the world is her.

#the sea #no other reason to be honest #but then there's the ocean #the ocean is a whole different thing #the vastness of it #when the wind vaguely smells of sea salt in november in moscow #and is unusually high (I don't know if there's a term for it. you can see when it's the same on the ground and in the clouds)#(it's not normally like that)#and you check the wind map #and yes there's a single wind mass stretching from norway to the midlle of the continent #the embodiment of distance #also #sitting on a mountaintop in west ireland #being knocked off your feet by the wind #watching weather for the next week coming from over the ocean #clouds forming #those smell of ice and eternal spring #and then going back to dublin the next morning and watching it arrive there too #just generally the presence of something enormous always looming over the island #even if it's a 4 hour drive away you still sense it #I guess I like the ocean because of the wind #and how sky reflects the ocean #(not the other way around as is often thought)

So, while messing around at the Relic Ruins, Runner's Wild, Aloy hinted via dialogue that there might be something else in the area, which I'd never heard her suggest before, or I peaced out before the line cycled in. Either way, I found a water tower to climb and glided over to a ruined house where I fell through the roof, got some sweet loot, then fell through the floor. It was fun.

Before that, I was on the water tower just looking around, and saw a couple of trees on the hilltop above it, and since I'm semi-obsessed at all times with the William Butler Yeats poem, The Two Trees,I instantly became obsessed with these two trees on a hilltop. So I did what any sane person would do and took about a dozen or two pictures of them in varying lighting, styles, locations, etc. Here are a few that (at the time) I liked enough to extract from the PS5.

I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer,,

#Random I know but spring and summer (esp summer) are much more home to me #Something about it just hits different yknow?#Like yeah don’t get me wrong I love fall and winter but they’re such cold and lonely months to me #I like the summer when I can just go outside and feel warm…it’s a nice feeling #And I can’t wait to travel again…to have at least one night where my sister is inside and my parents are out for a little #And I get to do my traditional sit on the balcony and admire the beauty of it all routine #Where I can’t go back inside for a good while because my face is stained with tears #And any time I say something to myself my voice cracks and I can’t help but laugh at how cheesy I am #But it’s truly amazing to know I can look forward to that #And I’ll always take pictures and they’ll be better than the ones I took last year but they’ll never fully capture how it felt to me #It’s a kind of intimacy that only exists for a brief moment on summer nights between me and my surroundings #With one AirPod in playing Mrs magic of resonance #And for a moment I’ll take it out and I’ll probably cry some more because the silence is even better #So yeah. Why is it when I have a big task to complete that should take days to do, I procrastinate the hell out of it when I have plenty of time but when it comes down to the absolute last minute, I can do a couple of days work in a couple of hours? What the fuck is wrong with me? Why couldn't I do it casually over a couple of days but can do it in matter of hours?

#ace is a mess #Tag talk #personal #i started to organising/clearing out my room at my parent's four days ago did half of one aspect of it did the other half of it two days #later then did nothing else and yet today ive done pretty much everything else that shouldve taken days in 3 hours? wtf #im losing my room when i go back to uni its being repurposed for someone else and so i needed to actually all of the sht i havent organised #since we moved in in 2018 then made even more disorganised when i moved to uni in 2020 i havent organised ANYTHING the entire time weve bee #here because i was supposed to be getting different furniture and then that just never happened and then im rarely here and just end up l #living out of my suitcase and between switching out cold weather and hot weather clothing over breaks its just become more chaotic and has #been too big of a job for me to even contemplate tackling and now im leaving tomorrow and i have literally choice and have done 5 years wor #in a couple of hours like why? why do i intentionally stress myself out like this? why cant i make decisions if im not at peak stress level #why dont i have any motivation unless im literally feeling ill with stress? why do i work like this?#also yes i know its ridiculous ive been living like this sincee sept 2018 but consider most of the problem was closed inside drawers and #therefore i couldnt see it so it didnt exist. that and im not here much i guess

sorry about being away for a bit “^^ i went to california for spring break to see family...now ive been back in florida and i miss it a lot.

i will answer any asks over that period and trying to get back into art (well 3+ weeks is really long for me to go without drawing?) in the meantime i will show things i did work on. thank you for being patient and i hope everyone enjoyed/enjoys their breaks as well!

#today i fucked up by reactivating my fb account which i haven't done in 2 yrs just to check on some folks id been sending good thought to #place is depressing everyone is miserable and everything feels fake and my mind is like #LOL this is why we left bitch byeeee #so i deactivated again went to work and idc what anyone says there are folks like me that can and do feel the energy and emotions coming of #people and it can fucking suck especially when so many are disregulated so i got a sensory overload and boss was nice enough to let me take #a bunch of breaks today and even scream in her office cause She Gets It (TM)#the weather is rainy and cold i'm getting so many fibro flares idk how i'm moving anymore #ive missed so many days of work already and it's not even fully winter yet i still have my job and im thankful i have an understanding team #but that doesnt pay the bills im still trying to find a way to pay for that doctor appointment coming up #graduate courses began for college and i think i'm gonna be okay but damn did they throw too much info all at once at me and that made #my adhd brain go WELL SHIT #ive been feeling incredibly lonely and not wanted in so many spaces that im struggling to even communicate with the few that i know do #love me for me and nothing else im trying so so so hard to keep being there for people and to keep loving #people that need it cause i don't ever want another human being to ever feel as miserable and unwanted as i have felt #but im also tired because i feel like thats all anyone ever sees me as just this being that can take their woes away and make them feel #amazing and i love that i can do that and listen to so many traumatic stories and help folks process that trauma my boss and many throughou #life have told me i have a gift for healing people and a vibe to me thats different than most and it feels good being around me but today i #just felt like people keep taking and taking and taking and i dont expect anything back thats not who i am id rather give than receive #but damn it i just wish someone could just give me the biggest hug in the world dont even have to say a thing just hold me and be present #and hold space for me to just feel weightless id cherish that more than anything in the world right now #on a positive note...#my dinosaur vo stuff got traction im getting a new cosplay put together i havent done that in 4 years i got to pet a wild deer i made #a coworker laugh so hard his juice went out his nose and my boss peed a little #im slowly taming another wild flock of turkeys and i got a bag of my favorite takis the guacamole flavor #i got a lot to be thankful for and i acknowledge it #but damn it im tired #thank you for coming to my Ted Talk rant and rave #if you made it this far: you're an incredible human being and i love you #please go treat yo self to something nice and know i love you for you

#reinas.inretrograde #i say this even though i just woke up from a nap #and actually have to do some schoolwork while i eat kimchi soup #but just… mattsun holding the boat stead for you #ankles deep in the water. sleepy expression bright bc you’ve woken up with him and decided to come along #where there’s a sharp contrast between your boots. his so dirty and storied with different colors of mud and gunk #and yours pristine and used for the very first time. it still has the size sticker on the left boot #and it’s quiet the whole time. you’re too tired to speak. and there’s only so many times you can comment about the scenery and the weather #but mattsun’s just happy. happy you’ve indulged his boring hobby of sitting atop a body of water with stick and string #he likes to rock the boat so he can hear you yelp when you cling to his shoulders. much similar to the ways he teases you on land #you guys play chopsticks. and then mattsun starts talking about the bio life nearby. provides you the scientific names of trees and flora #he covers his palms over your cheeks when they get too cold. and when that doesn’t work. you two share his single origin #carafe of coffee that you don’t know how to truly appreciate. that caffeine actually puts you to sleep and when you wake #the sun is already above your heads and mattsun is already making his way back to shore #and when you apologize for being lousy company compared to the grandpas he usually fishes with. mattsun just shrugs #he steps out the boat. overalls wet to the knees and he pulls it to the rocks so you can get out safely boots still clean #and he takes everything from your hands. holds the fishing rods. the lunch pack. his newspaper. his empty net and cooler on one side #so the other hand can be free to hold yours and he just says. ‘yeah but none of them are as pretty as you.’#okay actually. i just wrote the mattsun takes you out fishing in the tags by accident #so i guess i’ll go do the other things i mentioned earlier now

first day in Minneapolis is done. Cool place. Heard many birds, didn’t see that many. I did see an indigo bunting and a pileated woodpecker though.

Also I saw this in a bathroom 🫡

One thing I have noticed though, and I noticed this throughout texas as well, other places are so.. clean? Very little trash on the side of the road and they have people cleaning up the litter. It might seem basic but Miami doesn’t do this and there’s trash all over as a result

#I was outside all day. during the summer. and not once did I sweat #I’m not even joking when I say that the weather today was cooler than the average ‘winter’ day back in Florida #when I got here it was in the 50s and then it slowly went up to mid 70s #as nice as it is idk if I will move here #I’m um. a little terrified of dealing with a real winter.#I have been in cold places before but living there and dealing with it is very different #and I don’t really want to be stuck living ‘in’ the city anymore. I’d like to not be able to hear my neighbors footsteps #tomorrow we check out the city some more and on Sunday we’re driving north to see smaller towns #and then on Monday. all day in the airport again.#after this the plan is to check new mexico but not anytime soon. the flight is expensive.#I can’t really afford any other blue state so it’s most likely going to be one of these #I’m so tired. I’ve been up since yesterday at 5:30 AM #the flights were awful. crying babies on both. kid kicking my seat on one. lady behind me did gross things that I won’t type out

#i can see george being 2 #like he clearly has an accent but he cant figure out what it is #his family moved a lot when he was a kid - so it *could* be from a dozen different places #everyone he asks says they dont know or please stop talking to me strange scary tiny man #kramer eventually says he doesnt have an accent - and he knows a guy who was born with the same Gift #apparently people can make Big Money as a news reporter - no interview. nothing. it's like magic. they hear the perfect Not Accent and #hire them on the spot #george is enthralled by the idea. ''no interview! no lines!''#he decides to become a news reporter #he shows up to the interview. acts like he's already hired. in december I'm going straight from the rainy cold pnw to florida via plane and then a week later after I've acclimated to being somewhere that's ungodly warm for december I'm taking the train back home where I'll be stranded in dc for like 8 hours on christmas day when nothing is open and then I'll be in chicago for a day (because I have to stop and see sue the t rex) and Then I'll be stuck in fucking spokane washington for an hour at 2 o'clock in the morning where it'll Definitely be snowing. I'm going to die like when you put a fish in the wrong temperature of water

#75 is not that warm but it IS warm in DECEMBER when my body is used to it being 37 degrees all the time #how do I even dress for the plane. what do I even wear.#and then my body is going to go into shock for real after going from stupidly warm florida to Three Very Cold Places #at least.
