I woke up with stomach issues yesterday so I have done nothing but binge read The Priory of the Orange Tree for the last 24 hours. I'm actually feeling better and should be doing work today but I don't know how to stop reading. Send help. D:
#With all the POV changes I feel like I'm binge watching a show on Netflix#I know I'm years behind at getting to this book but if you liked this story#you might also like the Tales of Inthya series#cause Priory of the Orange Tree feels like the more hardcore epic fantasy version of Tales of Inthya to me#Tales of Inthya is cozier and is a plotty romance series like Olivia Atwater's Regency Faeire Tales#except every couple is f/f#The second one where a paladin and chaos goddess fall in love is my favorite but they were all fab#Tales of Inthya has dragons like Priory of the Orange Tree though the global drama is primarily focused on the gods#Good stuff. Would recommend to fantasy readers

Gods of Inthya by Effie Calvin
Gods of Inthya by Effie Calvin was fun. It's a collection of 19 short stories set in the Tales of Inthya universe (a series of f/f fantasy romance novels).
All these short stories are from the POVs of the Gods. I think they work better when you've already read the novels. Also, one of the stories is about a cat. <3
There's some f/f and a few non-binary characters.

Y'all, I've bought the Tales of Inthya series again, for the 5th or 6th time (ya girl gets desperate to talk to people about the things she obsesses over, kay?), because the 5th book is about to drop and I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for Nov. 6th (and by twiddling my thumbs, I mean working to finish my last year in law school, which is why I've been scarce on here, btw).
I'm sure you've heard about the series already, it's got magic, dragons, gods, world-building that'd make Tolkien cry, and it's just fukin packed with wlw. Lesbian princesses? Check. Lesbian knight pining like 40 feet from her gay dads' house? Check. God who thought she was above these mortals falling hopelessly in love with the mortal sent to kill her? Check. Daring rescues of queer damsels by god-induced power trips of a different gay damsel (which is also my favorite scene of any book of all time that has ever existed ever)? Check. Really nice cover art on the books? Check. A non-binary deity of creation? Check. A fight between mother and daughter that has every bit of my unfortunately-perfectionist-nature-fueled-by-my-parents'-expectations rooting for the protagonist? Triple check.
My gays and queers, this series has everything. The author is over at @effiecalvin and, might I add, the 5th book is on a preorder sale thing for like $6. For your serotonin levels and mine, read this series. It's also available in audiobooks.
