If anyone wanted; here’s a rant about Taylor Swift and the people who always have something bad to say about her:
Guys I just watched the social LOL they literally are so annoying. They talked about Taylor Swift stepping on a scale that reads fat in her music video, and how it’s not okay. But why is it not okay? For her to show what she dealt with with her experience with an eating disorder? They mentioned Lizzo, and I think mentioning her was considered fat shaming. They basically said that because Taylor Swift is not a curvy girl like Lizzo, she doesn’t have the right to think she is anything but skinny, she doesn’t have any reason to have an eating disorder because she’s considered skinny by everyone else. But that’s the thing, and honestly the point of that scene in the music video, this is what she struggled with personally. It’s like when people say they had a hard day, but they shouldn’t complain because someone else has it worse.
I also read somewhere that someone said it was good that scene was edited out because she has so many young fans, and I also don’t agree with that, because Taylor Swift is a 32 years old woman, she does not cater her career around young fans, clearly shown as she swears in her songs now, so if parents allow their young children to listen to the swearing, then that’s the parents issue to then introduce them to the things shown in her videos. It’s like when Disney channel kid actors grew up, they’re not the cute little Disney kids anymore, they’re adults, and once they leave Disney channel, they’re job is not to continue catering to young fans, because those fans loved the characters they used to be.

The province has no immediate plans to increase funding for social assistance programs such as the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) or the Ontario Works (OW) program despite a 15-year “steadily growing caseload,” documents obtained through a freedom of information request suggest.
A report, included in the transition binder of Minister of Children, Community and Social Service Michael Parsa and reviewed by CTV News Toronto, says funding provided through both these programs are a “last resort support” to individuals in financial need.
The report makes no specific mention of any plans to increase the funding for the programs, noting instead that “increases to rates and benefits to reflect inflation and cost of living will drive additional costs” in the years to come.
Almost 900,000 people are receiving funding through one of the province’s social assistance programs, representing about 6.9 per cent of the province’s population. Survey shows nearly 20 per cent of Canadians skipping meals to cope with food costs
For months, putting food on the table has become a challenge to many, but a recent survey found some are coping with the cost of eating by sometimes skipping meals.
The survey was conducted by the Canadian Hub for Applied and Social Research out of the University of Saskatchewan.
Nearly 20 per cent of respondents reported skipping meals or reducing meal sizes in order to save money.
At the Glace Bay Food Bank, those numbers didn't come as a surprise as it's roughly on par with the uptick they've experienced.
"Absolutely not. Not with the cost of groceries and the cost of living, it doesn't shock me at all," said Linda MacRae, food bank coordinator. "I would say close to 20 per cent. I really would. I'm surprised we're keeping up, to be honest with you."
Among the 1,001 Canadians polled, 59 per cent said they're coping by decreasing household food waste, 54 per cent reported making meal plans, while 30 per cent said they are eating less healthy food as it's often cheaper.
"Food bank use and unemployment have always trended together," said Food Banks Canada CEO Kirsten Beardsley. "This is the first time we're seeing those trends decouple. We have very low unemployment, and our highest food bank use in Canadian history."
The majority of survey respondents said they are using coupons, or hunting for sales. Nearly 5 per cent admitted to stealing food out of necessity.
"To go from this situation into what will be job loss, a recession, even tougher economic times, I'm actually really worried about what's to come," Beardsley said.
A recent report from Food Banks Canada said visits to food banks increased 15 per cent over the winter, and prices have only gone up since.
"I'm extremely worried what the next few months are going to bring, especially over the winter," MacRae said.
Nearly 80 per cent of respondents supported an increase in minimum wage, however many opposed strategies that saw an increase or creation of taxes.
