i don't even have 10 fics posted, literally. i'm gonna take two from my wips cause one of the posted is a collection of drabbles and i don't think that qualifies.

The thing is.
Dean Winchester is not a teenager who doesn’t know how to act in front of hot people.
He’s 32 and his reputation as a player says otherwise. He’s pretty smooth (most of the time), it comes with knowing his charming points and having no qualms in using them with women and men alike. In his younger years he liked to say he had a big heart and his mission was to give some love to as many people as possible. But once his 30s approached he started thinking it was time to settle down and he slowly stopped picking up people at dive bars, much to Sam’s relief.

When Dean is 25, a couple of things happen.
The first one is, obviously, his birthday party: a full blown party organized by Mary and Ellen at the Roadhouse. The whole family is there and they have the time of their life. Dean even manages to convince Lisa to go home with him, which he's got nothing to complain about.

Hell, he almost expected to not find his laptop.

It’s silly, Henry thinks, that Alex is convinced of not being an open book for him by now. They're sixteen and Ryan has an uncle with a tattoo shop, so he steals some ink, a couple of needles, and they spend the afternoon hiding behind the school gym giving each other shitty tattoos.

alright this is all i have. you can clearly see that the first four had a thing going on and it was fully intentional. i think i realised when i was writing You're a witch, Dean-o! then idk, i think i just didn't remember. i would've kept it up if i did, i would've found a way to make things work in the new fics as well. but it is what it is. maybe i'll go back to it one day!

my sister and I both agree that one of the best parts about china was how there's food everywhere. And not just, like, bags of chips, but real hot, cooked, tasty food. You hike to the top of a mountain and there's a guy with a cart selling chicken skewers and freshly steamed corn on the cob. When you hike to the top of a mountain in america, what do you get? Anemo Sword
his normal attack pattern would definitely be similar to kaeya and keqing’s, especially the teleport at the end. also very unsure about whether he would have just his odachi, his dual katanas, or if he’d somehow switch between both 🤔 i did wanna include the dual sword though regardless, cuz i thought it was really fun how they implemented it with alhaitham :)
Elemental Skill: Now You See Me
Leo channels his Anemo energy into his sword, throwing it forward a short distance before turning into an Anemo wisp and teleporting to the sword's location after a short delay. Enemies caught in the attack's path will take Anemo damage on the sword's initial impact as well as a slightly larger amount when Leo teleports. This ability can hold up to 2 charges and generates elemental energy on each use.
Elemental Burst: Hachi Machi
Leo creates an Anemo portal at his location. Sending other party members' abilities through either portal creates a ball of Anemo energy infused with that ability's element that travels between the two points for the portal's duration. This ability deals the elemental damage of the ability within the portal, as well as added Anemo damage. Only Pyro, Electro, Hydro, or Cryo elemental skills or bursts can be sent through the portals.

...I got covered in an awful lot of leather-rot handling books (and novels, hello first-edition moby dick which i have touched with my own two hands) when I worked in an ARCHIVE, whose primary patrons of the reading-room were HISTORIANS there specifically to see, in many cases, BOOKS, for those materials to be, allegedly, '''''not historical records'''''
What, pray tell, do you consider an 'historical record' if not something recorded at the time?

Marbled Monday
This sunny Marbled Monday, as we here in Wisconsin wait for the weather to catch up to the seasons and feel spring-like, I’ve selected The Seasons by Scottish poet and playwright James Thomson (1700-1748). There have been many editions of The Seasons since its first publication as a complete series of four poems in 1730—this one was published by The Nonesuch Press in 1927. It features five illustrations by an artist simply identified as Jacquier, who I have been unable to otherwise identify. The images are copperplate engravings made by C. Sigrist that were hand colored using watercolor through stencils at The Curwen Press.
The marbling is a very curly French curl or snail pattern, featuring red, blue, orange, cream, and a greenish-grey. This pattern is created by first dropping colors in to the water bath and then taking a comb with regularly spaced teeth and swirling it in the water bath to make the snail pattern.
