Hey people who have experience kissing someone romantically I need your advice:
Can you pass food from your mouth into someone else’s while kissing them deeply?
I’m asking because the current installment I’m writing includes the scene where Adam ate from the apple and the way it’s done in this AU is that Eve kissed Adam and passed a piece of the apple she had in her mouth into his and he swallowed.

Whumpril 2024 - Day 7 - Hesitation
-A huge demon enters the sitcom stage to raucous applause, spreading his arms and grinning at the other actors- GUESS WHO'S BACK AFTER BEING ON OC VACATION, at least now and then yk, I missed Gabe
TWs: attempted murder/assassination, threats, brief and vague reference to noncon by whumpee, blood, blades
“Please–” Gabriel watched the angel in front of him tremble. She clasped her hands in front of herself, brilliant purple eyes fixed on the bright cerulean soul in his hand. “Please, Prince Gabriel, don't do this.”
Gabriel sneered, rolling the little soul around in his palm, feeling the magical sparks against his skin. “Why?” He walked closer, idly toying with one sword he'd taken. His foot came to rest on the blade of the other. “You tried to kill me in my own home. Give me a reason to spare two assassins.”
She winced back, mouth gaping as she struggled for a reason. Gabriel laughed and dropped the blade with a clatter, bringing the soul up to his mouth. He rolled the marble into his mouth, holding it between his teeth. Everyone who knew of Gabriel Rivas, Demon Prince of the Wrathful Chase also knew how he liked to dispatch the souls of his enemies.
She dropped to her knees, tears springing from her eyes. Sobbing, she scrambled forward, desperately grabbing at the sheer silks he was wrapped in. “No, not him, not Alistair, he's all I have–”
Something in how her voice broke, in how her watery purple eyes looked up at him with such desperation, made Gabriel pause. Suddenly the soul didn't feel as satisfying to have in his mouth. He pulled the soul away from his teeth with a sigh, brows furrowed.
“Hmm.” He thought for a moment, before grinning again. “Alright, alright. I'll make you a deal.”
She pressed her hands to her mouth and sat back on her heels, looking up at him with a frantic nod. She reached to his silks again, feeling at his hips, starting to tug the fabric away from his skin. “Anything, anything at all, sir, whatever you want I'll–”
Gabriel felt his grin drop away as his stomach rolled. He stepped back, reaching a hand up sharply. “Quiet. Don't touch me. I don't want–not that.”
He took a deep breath, golden eyes lingering on the intact halo that hovered above her head. It matched her eyes perfectly. Her cloudy, dark grey wings shivered behind her back, pulled as tightly against her as possible. Messy black hair framed her face. Her arms wrapped around herself, like she might fall apart if she didn't.
“if you can survive out there for forty-eight hours then you're free to go.” He motioned to the window, to the clogged, labyrinthine streets that lay far below his uncanny skyscraper. The screams and howls of the hunted couldn't be heard this far up. “You won't be able to fly. My demons will be hunting you the whole time. But if you can do it, you get to leave. Both of you. He'll stay in my possession until then.”
She swallowed hard and nodded. “Okay. I, yes. Yes, I accept. And if I don’t, you’ll kill us.”
“Give me your name." Gabriel said with a nod, offering a hand out to her. She grasped it. When he helped her to her feet, she seemed to barely weigh as much as Throl.
“Felicia.”
“Go on Felicia, you have a fifteen minute start time.”
Gabriel didn’t know how he felt, watching her disappear into the elevator, shoulders squared.
As the doors closed, he shifted again and a sharp pain raced up his leg. Glancing down, the sword blade he’d stepped on before had bitten into him. Curiosity spiking, he lifted it to examine the sole of his foot. Golden blood started to languidly ooze, but there was no burning. He wasn’t being immolated by holy magic. He curiously looked to the other, and realized that it didn’t smell holy either–that had been the angel.
Neither one of these blades could have killed him.
“Huh. Well, Alistair. Guess things are a little more complicated than I thought. Let’s just see how Felicia does while I think about where to go next.”

The First Sin
Tumblr media
So one bit of Tolkien's legendarium that most people miss, because it's only talked about in a rather obscure story, and never actually shown, is the thematic connection between Morgoth and Sauron's respective corruptions of humanity.
Sauron greatest "achievement" when he got to Numenor and corrupted the people there, was to get them to abandon Eru, and build an enormous temple dedicated to worshipping Morgoth, where they sacrificed Human beings in real, pagan sacrificial style.
It was in short, the ultimate defilement of the holy Island, far greater and more devastating to the Numenoreans than anything Morgoth did to Beleriand, for it brought the Numenoreans down to Sauron's level of their own free will.
The funny thing is though, Morgoth did the exact same thing. To such a degree that it's safe to assume that Sauron deliberately modelled his corruption of the Numenoreans in their blessed Island paradise, on the corruption of the Human race in their birthplace of Hildórien(this universe version of/inspiration for the Garden of Eden).
Like Sauron, Morgoth sought out the Human race when they were young, back when they were were still blessed by their inborn gifts of Illuvatar, and possessed a capacity/potential for creation that the King of Nargothrond would later describe as greater than the Valar.
And like Sauron, through lies and displays of power, he tricked the early Humans into abandoning Eru's words and teachings, culminating in them building a great temple to Morgoth in the great holy valley, in which either out of fear or genuine belief, every single human being alive at the time passed through at least once.
Tumblr media
This all culminated when Humanity in it's folly, finally crossed a line, and on Morgoth's orders, began to sacrifice their fellow men in that great temple of stone they had used their godgiven powers of creation to make.
What followed was the entire Human race being stripped of that godgiven ability, and a lot of their blessings going with it. The true understanding of the "gift of man" aka natural death, that was humanity's great blessing and doom was broken, and ever after Humanity would need to face it with uncertainty and fear.
And where once the Human race was one, hereafter as Morgoth fled back west, the diminished Humankind splintered into many different parts, becoming the ancestors of all the various tribes and ethnicities that would follow.
Many turned away from Morgoth then, but the damage had been done, just as though the faithful survived the fall of Numenor, the entire Human race was now touched by the Original, first Sin, and all their descendants would be diminshed compared to what that original generation of Humankind had the potential to be.

A prototype dandelion made by Tekka, the very parasite that they’d haphazardly added in, and had choked out civilization and life while they weren’t looking.
Takes the form of the white dandelion fluff, but dyed a deep golden yellow. Very infectious, popping up new ‘flowers’ (although there’s no petals, only seeds) anywhere they land. This plant is insanely stubborn and will take root anywhere,
Feeds like a normal plant, taking in nitrogen. However, instead of converting it to oxygen, they convert the nitrogen to LFC. This is believed to be why the atmosphere in Munova is so high in LFC, and why it’s such a common rift location.
The parasite works via airborne pollen, secreted by the stem rather than the golden seeds. When breathed in, the parasite works its way through the creature’s body to implant into the brain.
Once rooted, Golden Absolution makes the creature protective of it and willing to spread its seeds, often via taking it to new locations and blowing the seeds from it’s stem. This is it’s main form of reproduction as there is no natural winds in the majority of the cavern system.
Creatures infected with Golden Absolution are dangerous when the Absolution is threatened in any way, even if one just accidentally steps on the roots. Considering it’s roots are everywhere, multiple feet into the ground, this is extremely easy to do.
Creatures will die for the Golden Absolution, many species extremely fast producing or extremely hardy in order the make up for this weakness. The majority of remaining creatures are herbivores, feeding on the purple tinted leaves of trees, or scavengers who feast on the animals killed by the Golden Absolution.
It’s not perfect, however. The parasite automatically is drawn towards the brain, but if the brain isn’t in the head then it gets confused and often falls dormant. This is how a few species managed to escape control. Their brains were not in their heads, or simply not stereotypical brains.
Roots better in low LFC areas, often creeping out of portals into our world. Fortunately, due to the atmospheric differences, such as a lack of head and ‘greenhouse’ effect, the plant is harmless. If it doesn’t wither and die, it merely acts as a sign of Munova being through the portal.
While you shouldn’t eat it or try to root it, the Golden Absolution can be general ignored by travelers and scientists. Just be careful not to piss off the native wildlife and everything will be fine.
That being said, it is very easy to piss off the wildlife. Unless a seasoned and trained adventurer, stay in one place until help arrives.
Uninflected wildlife isn’t safe either, evolving both immunity to Golden Absolution as well as the ability to hide, ensuring it’s safety. They are extremely skittish.

“People are inherently terrible” no!!! Have you ever seen a child wait for their friend while they tie their shoelaces? Have you ever known someone who would bring hurt squirrels and rabbits and mice to the nearest vet just so it doesn’t suffer? Have you seen someone grieve? Have you ever read something that hit your heart like a freight train? Have you looked at the stars and felt an unexplainable joy? Have you ever baked bread? Have you shared a meal with a friend? Have you not seen it? All the love? All the good? I know it’s hard to see sometimes, I know there’s pain everywhere. But look, there’s a child helping another up after a hard fall. Look, there’s someone giving their umbrella to a stranger. Look, there’s someone admiring the spring flowers. Look, there’s good, there’s good, there’s good. Look!!!!

Whumpril 2024 - Day 4 - Swaying
Reality and Thanatos belong to @inscrutable-shadow !! God I love your boys thank you for letting me play with them c:
TWs: alcohol consumption, drunkenness, honestly it's just club stuff it's not heavy vibe wise
Bastian watched Mariano, leaning on the bar. He’d wanted to see what all the fuss was about with that fancy nightclub–The Realm. Allegedly it was fae-run, but he didn’t care either way. The bear of a bartender was worth the trip on his own, with his rolling gait and glowing golden eyes. Gabriel, he’d said his name was.
They’d swapped numbers.
“Your boy’s cute.” Gabriel said, passing Bastian another drink. Fluorescent and red, he’d called it Demon’s Blood. It tasted like biting into a fresh mango and went down easy like good vodka. Bastian immediately knew that Mariano would love it.
“He is. So is Reality’s.” Bastian agreed with a grin, eyes drifting to where Mariano was dancing with Thanatos. His hips rolled, legs intertwined with the pretty vampire’s as they swayed with the crowd. He leaned in and said something against Thanatos’ ear, whatever it was making them both laugh.
It wasn’t often that Mariano felt comfortable enough to let loose like this–they’d been dating for over a year by the time he’d even revealed that he COULD dance. But god could he put on a show when he wanted to, one arm looped around Thanatos to cage him in and keep him steady. His glowing white pact rings flicked towards Bastian and Gabriel now and then, making sure that they were still watching as his lips trailed to Thanatos’ jaw.
“Oh? I see Thanatos has finally loosened up.” Reality sounded as light as air when ae returned from talking to some particularly beautifully blossoming dryad. “Good, he’s needed this, I think. He’s been overthinking far, far too much.”
“Don’t know many people who could keep thinking in general with Mariano grinding on them like that.” Bastian said, laughing as Mariano maneuvered them into more open space and dipped Thanatos easily.
“I couldn’t. I’d just eat him alive, or something.” Gabriel said, taking a sip from a water bottle he had nearby. “He’s just got one of those faces. Thanatos too.”
They watched Mariano spin Thanatos and release him, both grinning as the song faded into the next. Really, Bastian couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen Mariano have so much fun. Mariano swayed back to the bar then with Thanatos at his side, the mage clearly too drunk to walk straight but somehow still confidently on his feet and walking a straight line. Bastian caught him when he got close enough, pressing a kiss to Mariano’s cheek. “Alright, water time, then back home.”
“Ffffine, fine. Than–Thanatos, you, I…I want to give you my number, is that okay?” Bastian couldn’t help laughing as Mariano tilted in his arms, a gentle sort of worry winding into Mariano’s voice as he asked.
Reality seemed just as tickled as Bastian was as ae helped steady Thanatos. Thanatos, for what it was worth, flushed a pretty red and looked away before nodding. “I…would like that. Yes. Please.”
Not ten minutes later, they were waving goodbye to the cute fae and vampire, piling into a cab. “Sssso…so that's what people do in college?” Mariano's smile never wavered, clearly remembering why Bastian had dragged him out that night. “I see the…the appeal. That's way better than war crimes.”
Something twisted in Bastian's chest and he looped an arm around him, hugging Mariano close. “...Yeah. Yeah, it is.”
“Can we do it again sometime?”
The warm, easy hope in Mariano's voice, unmasked by his normal reservations and stoicism, hurt even worse. “Yeah, you're still pretty young. We could probably go out again next week if you wanted.”
Mariano just hummed and leaned more heavily into Bastian. “Thanks.”
“...Yeah, any time, baby.”
