Idk what is it but I can’t login my disqus account, so I’ll say it here. I finally got what I wanted but at what cost.

The body swapping trope is one of my favorite tropes, it’s usually in a lot of isekai or Reincarnations, anyway whenever it happens the family never figures out that their love one is gone although that can’t be said for the Manhwa called “The Night Without Shadows” it’s so sad even worst with the brother having to be the first one to figure it out, he and his sister had a close relationship, which btw almost never happens in these types of stories the siblings are usually unbothered or hate each other before the body swap happens.

I’ve always thought it was weird how when or if the original person has a loving relationship with their family members, said family members don’t seem to question that the new person isn’t them even though they’ll said it themselves about how different their supposedly love one is acting.

The switches do happen when the original character has died, so maybe that’s why their just so relieved that the love one is okay they ignore everything else.

Anyways “The Night Without Shadows “ is sad but a funny read so far.

actually crazy how much I'm enjoying the heroic durge path thus far. like it's actually a shame I always hear people talk about durge as something they save for an evil run because if you are an angst enjoyer, this is simply one of the finest vintages I've had in a while. like, the limitless internal conflict, not knowing who you are, not knowing if you want to know who you were, trying to be a good person but fearing you never can be. Something is forcing you to do terrible things and you can't control it, so where does that end? is your determination to be better than your impulses stronger than the monster inside of you? what happens if you lose control and just keep falling? that's SEXY. that's fucking catnip for me personally, I'm literally living my best life rn

I mean I don't blame the man like me too. Roselyn goes from adorable precious little angel to absolute badass queen that can step on me in a matter of seconds. Like Ricardis is incredibly valid

as fond as i am of games like shadow and sonic heroes everyday there isn’t a day that goes by where i don’t wish shadow’s character arc could have been completed in a way that directly builds off what was established at the end of sa2 (and doesn’t muddle or at worst contradict it). And not to pull the ess ay three card but sonic adventure 2 deserved an sequel just for that ending dialogue alone bc holy shit
