OH MAN. OH BOY. MORE DOODLES!!! I beat the game yesterday at 108% and around 47 hours, what a journey. Here are a bunch of Grimm doodles I did while going through his quest (which I uhhh accidentally banished him haha anyways), I'm still figuring out how to draw all of these buggy fellas :]

First meetings and clarifications

I feel like Hollow’s understanding of the whole “sacrifice yourself to save the kingdom” thing was more of an abstract concept to them before they met Hornet.

Like. Of *course* they’re going to seal the infection when they’re all grown up, it’s what father wants, after all.

But I think it’s not until they meet Hornet for the first time, that they’re able to put the idea onto something tangible. The first time they hold her in their arms, look into her eyes, and see nothing but the pure love, innocence, and curiosity that only a baby can have for the world around them, is also the first time they actively decide to be the vessel that contains the Radiance.

Before, they were just going through the motions, doing what they’re told, when they’re told etc. But now, whether they realise it or not, they WANT to save Hallownest and its people, they WANT to know that their baby sister is going to grow up safe and happy, and wyrm help anyone who tries to stop that from happening, even ancient dream goddesses.

And then they’re finally introduced to the kingdom and they’re actually able to visualise how many people are at risk of the infection, and that only further secures their desire to help.

(Also PK calling Hornet their sister is 100% just a slip of the tongue lmao)

(for example - being treated like a baby, older siblings acting like theyre the only ones who have problems, bullying by older siblings not being taken seriously, not feeling like your achievements matter as much, because your older siblings did it first, feeling lonely/ignored, annoying stereotypes about younger siblings on media etc.)

Day 15: Childhood

Although Odette's story begins on the streets of Ul'dah, she did not stay there long. Picking the wrong pocket lands her in the arms of the convent that raises her. At the convent she is introduced to her first Karakuls, quickly bonding with them, and as she settles into her new home she is given the freedom to roam with them.
