The real villain of the grinch was the mayor of whoville. Cuz like sir we wouldn’t be in this mess if the bullying didn’t start with you. Then you go on to try to make a literal child look bad for being like ya know maybe we should include him. And then you take it a step further and as a GROWN grown adult proceed to cause more damage to the grinch who didn’t want to fully come here in the first place. And expect everyone to rally around you???

The Grinch (2000, Artificial Mind & Movement aka Behaviour Interactive)

Merry Grinchmas!

I was obsessed with Jim Carrey's Grinch film as a kid (and still am), I remember getting the PC demo disc for this game in a Kellogg's cereal box and playing it a billion times.

The game holds up surprisingly well today, it's still a fun collectathon with a pretty artstyle that's more faithful to the original Dr. Seuss book, but in most other ways it's closer to the Jim Carrey film.

I can’t believe Jim Carrey’s Grinch was raised by a pair of lesbians who celebrate Christmas with swing parties.

It's late enough in the month to begin the festivities.

Given that it's the middle of Halloween and Christmas currently it only makes sense to pick a scary Christmas movie; but I did a snowman last year, so Jack Frost the Mutant Killer Snowman is out. Jim Carrey is also fairly scary, so his Grinch it is.
