like the FACT that they moved to gravesfield, the fact that Camila made that decision because she thought it was the best, the fact that it didn’t work out and what she said to Luz, that she didn’t want her to suffer like she did and tried to push her into another direction…the fact that this had already played out around four hundred years ago, the fact that Caleb did the same just that it worked with Philip, the fact it worked so perfectly that Philip ceased to be a person, the fact that same thing could have happened so easily again.

The fact that Gravesfieled never changed.

Do I think Belos is religious? Yes. Does he have religious trauma and is he inflicting it on everyone else? Do I think that his religion is internally consistent or at all recognizable as Puritan Christianity? Absolutely not. This man is out here creating witch scientology. He’s bigoted but only against supernatural beings. He’s invented new and exciting ways to do idolatry and then convinced everyone else to do them too. His aesthetic is intensely Catholic. He made a deal with the shadow-jester devil and laughs at his jokes. He’s just a bizarre cult leader whose personal ethics have diverged so wildly from what he was raised with that they’re barely recognizable anymore. I’m not even convinced he was exceedingly Christian as a kid, he comes across as one of those very smart, slightly obsessive little souls who gloms onto one particular doctrinal element (“suffer not a witch to live”) and forms their identity around that. This is not to say that his character isn’t a critique of cultural Christianity, especially in the US, but I don’t think he’d be shocked by ankles or the fall of the British Empire either, he’s just not written that way.

Belos' scenes continuing to be actually fucking terrifying. Like- most of the things we learn about him are already known or speculated on but getting them confirmed in the most horrifying way possible just scares me and I love it. - The fact that he's been pocessing grim walkers of Caleb for centuries -He haunted by their spirits -He can poscess ANYONE given the circumstance -His hypocritical nature that I've been on about for months and will NEVER stop talking about because I love characters who are already dead. -THE FACT THAT HE STABBED HIS BROTHER LIKE THAT'S SUCH A PERSONAL WAY TO KILL AND ABSOLUTELY HEARTLESS

The Collector's little look of sadness when King mentions the Titan's being wiped out. He obviously knows what the others did to them, maybe if the giant Titan skull was related to King too. He feels bad about it, he even scratched it out of his book because he may be a powerful petulant child but the other collectors are probably far worse. Did they trap him? Did they lock him away? Was his disc just their form of time-out? Did he want to save the titans? The last titan. Did he want to be King's friend so bad he went against the other collectors to find him and inadvertently sped up the extinction process between Collectors and Titans? If that's the case no wonder he's so obsessive and nicer (debatable) to King, he's had this idea in his head of them being besties for so long and it'll make the betrayal hurt so much more. He's just a little kid who's clearly been used before and just wants to trust someone.

There's a lot of things that, were they to happen on screen in the owl house season 3, would surely be the end of my mortal existence.

But the one I'm thinking of right now is if we get ANY hint of the moment when Caleb "plays witch hunters and practices his pitchforking technique in between chores with his baby brother in left-of-salem" Wittebane

became Caleb "I love my magical bird friend and my scary magic wife and this weird magic world I live in to the point I'll die defending my right to exist in it against said baby brother who's refused to let go of our childhood beliefs" Clawthorne

Imagine season three starts with Luz sitting in the dark with her phone, rewatching a video Eda recorded for her in case things went really wrong during the DoU and she’s just sitting there rewatching the part where Eda says she loves her over and over again and Luz clearly hasn’t slept in days and she has her angry game face on meanwhile the camera pans away and we just see Camila and/or Amity in the corner watching on in concern...

I’m completely fine and normal about the fact Luz and Eda are separated right now...

there are many reasons i might end up not answering a question and tbh some of them do come down to "i just don't really have anything to say or care for the premise or want to talk about that" and like, i am here to have fun and talk about stuff, not have my Ask Button mashed until Content falls out, okay?

that being said - unsure how much he'd even really know about her deal with Amity, how much he'd care about her childish romantic antics, but if he did it probably would be part of his whole thing where he sees Luz as like, falling prey to temptation here. history repeating itself! just like with Caleb, the witches have seduced this poor innocent human child and blinded her to their wickedness! plus throw in a hearty dose of feeling possessive and entitled and i am sure he doesn't approve at all, although not for the reasons Luz might think.

... I just realized the confiscated items in the conformatorium being guarded by a barrier only humans can go through makes a lot more sense now that we know belos is a human
