just saw farscape's season 2 three-parter (!!) look at the princess and this is everythinggg i was hoping farscape would be during some not-so-strong earlier episodes. space monarchy. carbonite freezing i mean... turning u into stone..... why don't we have 3-parters in tv anymore i want the FULL DRAMA and depthsss. the way the whole episode is various ways to talk about romance revolving around crichton and aeryn and yet it also gets into SO MUCH more of this show's central themes and conflicts. delicious. i'm so well fed

woah season 1 chiles was the GOAT. look at them bro 🤧 they carried and they were so funny every episode like wtf. their chemistry was EVERYTHINGGG. they have to be the best duo in season 1. like the way they were friends in a click and they just get each other. i see chapa’s trust in chiles ALOT like it just shows me her development in showing affection towards characters (aka miles) BEFORE YALL SAY ANYTHINGGG ABOUT BAPAS DEVELOPMENT THIS IS FOR CHILES.. READ THE TITLE IT SAYS CHILES DEVELOPMENT… NOT BAPA. let me just keep going, pretty much had moments in season 1 but not much to talk about their development, but lets move on to season 2
much better picture!!
okay so season 2 is something i wanna talk about for a while now, this season confirms that they literally like each other.. i mean look at them.. but let me show examples. in episode “power problems part 2” chapas little speech was the cutest thing EVER. we all know chapa isn’t the type of person to comfort someone but oh she will help miles. literally idk how else to explain this but their trust this season went UPPPP. at the start of season 1, we all know chapa isn’t that much of a sensitive girl (basically im repeating what i just said..) she CARES for miles period. cuties fr and i feel like after this episode, they got more development into their relationship . MOVING ONTO SEASON 3 (my favorite season of them idc)

you guys cannot lie and say that they were not cute this season. they basically confirmed that they were together! every single episode they just had that bond and it was AMAZING. especially the finale i feel like they were adorable and carried. dont get me started on bose’s birthday party??? the way chapa fangirled over awol is just clearin the facts yall.. and in 2 part episode in the beginning of season 3, i just loved them. (half of me is screaming thinking about chiles season 3) this season was really special aswell since they came back after a while of not fighting crime so it was nice to see them reunite and have them back better as ever. they shouldve gotten a episode on their own like bomika in unmasked or something.

The potential angst is so real with these two I SWEAR 😭 They're immature and all and every two episodes Jimmy Jr decides that it's a good day to become the dumbest teenage boy ever like darn it 😭
But they're learning and it's a long ass way to get anywhere near actual good communication with these two but they have all the time let them beeee~

ok so! favorite songs! I’ve got a ton so let’s just jump right to it (see what i did there? lol)
What Might Have Been
This is my FAVORITE Phineas and Ferb song, I remember when whispers about a “Phinbella duet” first started circulating mid-2012 and being SO HYPED (I was so hyped I wrote my own Phinbella duet, lollllll. maybe I’ll post it sometime). I waited literal YEARS for this song and it was VERY WORTH THE WAIT. I love the instrumentation (the strings? the guitar? the drums? the hint of Isabella’s theme at the beginning of the third verse? a A H), the lyrics are just so heartfelt and sweet and poignant (with just a hint of trademark PnF humor thrown in, lol), and the vOCALS GOOD LORD, ALYSON AND VINCENT KILLED IT. And the harmonies at the end. Bless. AYA isn’t perfect but I ADORE “What Might Have Been.” Like, they really gave us a 3 1/2 minute long song of Isabella and Phineas singing about being in love. They did that for us. Sometimes, I listen to it on a loop when I need to focus...or just because I want to listen to it. It’s truly just. The best. Ah. My heart. This song deserves more mainstream attention dANG IT.
Summer Belongs To You
This song is so uplifting and positive and the beginning is a Phinabella duet of COURSE I love it (i deeefinitely made a lil’ reference to it in a certain simile in chapter 9 of CHFIL, not sure if anyone caught that but writing it made me smile!). It always puts me in a good mood and makes me feel like I can accomplish anything. And it gets bonus points because it features Candace singing about loving her brothers!! SBTY is also one of the episodes that got me interested in the show, so this song holds a special place in my heart.
City of Love
This song ALSO holds a special place in my heart. Like, it’s so sad but it’s so good. I love Isabella, and I feel for her (and when I first heard this song I could 100% relate to her plight, LOL). This is also the first PnF song I ever downloaded! So it’s very nostalgic and special to me.
Us Against the Universe
I ADORE THIS SONGGG I ADORE IT SO MUCH OK IT’S JUST EVERYTHINGGG. It makes me feel ALL THE THINGS. It’s very similar to “Summer Belongs To You,” but rather than being rooted in nostalgia, it’s like a reminder that the characters are still as present and united as ever. A couple years ago, I never would’ve thought we’d get to hear the entire cast sing together ever again, so like....this song means the world to me. It’s a great song for 2020.
The Universe is Against Me
This is ALSO the perfect song for 2020, but in a venting way as opposed to an uplifting way like the previous song. I love the imagery in the lyrics (and like...they’re surprisingly real and raw for Phineas and Ferb) Singing along to it is so cathartic, I could listen to this one on a loop and not get tired of it.
Happy New Year
THIS SONG DESERVES TO BE ON AN ALBUM. I listen to it every new year; it really captures the feeling of New Year’s Eve and the celebration of starting over (and also. uh. I will forever associate it with Phinabella and lovely Phinabella vibes because of that scene of them dancing together).
Busted
Busted is iconic. Plain and simple. I adore it. Love the harmonies, love the vibe, I’m pretty sure this was the most listened to song on my old iPod, lol.
Somebody Gimme a Grade
I was (and am...lol) 100% the kid who had to have the best grades they could, so this song speaks to me on an emotional level. I also love the clever wordplay--like, “you wasted all my time learning how to rhyme then left me hangin’ from a treble clef!” is sUCH A GOOD LINE LIKE WHO THOUGHT OF THAT IT’S BRILLIANT. I also love getting to see Baljeet come out of his shell a bit and express himself!
Happy Evil Love Song
This is one of my go-to songs to play on the ukulele! It’s just so funny and sweet (as long as you don’t think about what happens after it, lol).
I Really Don’t Hate Christmas
THIS SONG. I LOVE IT. I love that it pokes fun at the “villains hating Christmas” trope while also subverting it! It’s just, so soooooo so great. I have a great time trying to sing it each Christmas season, LOLLLL. (because those are some FAST lyrics. how did Dan do it????)
That Christmas Feelin’
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs ever!!! It really captures the vibe and joy of the season, and I always go out of my way to play it when hanging out with people who might not know it’s from Phineas and Ferb! lol
In The Empire
One of my biggest flexes is being able to sing the entire “It’s sO NOT FAIR....” section of this song, LOLLLL. It’s just such a fun one to sing!!! (or attempt to sing....hah. Ashley has SKILLS.)
Ferb Latin
Ok, this one might seem a little random, but as a musician, I am OBSESSED with how the three melodies intersect and blend together at the end of the song!!! It sounds SO GOOD. (Plus. Phinabella duet. Yes. Are y’all detecting a pattern?)
Aerial Area Rug
So I’ll just go ahead and say PHINABELLA first because this song has MASSIVE Phinabella vibes (I mean it begins with a homage to the “do you trust me?” scene with Phineas and Isabella, that’s like pure-seratonin right there). And this song is also genuinely just so beautiful. It’s sung so well and the instrumentation is gorgeous and the lyrics are so literal but like, they work very well. (and that key change baby, I love a good key change!)
Gitchee Gitchee Goo
Gitchee Gitchee Goo means that I love you! It’s a classic, and super catchy, and totally reminds me of Phinabella even though in the context of canon that isn’t what it’s about at all😅. Also! Candace and Phineas singing and having fun together will always make me smile. I crave wholesome sibling interactions.
Thank You For Coming Along
THIS SONG MAKES ME FEEL THINGS....I really can’t think of a better send off the show could’ve had. I love how genuine it is, like a love letter to the fans, with all the references and such (I’m a sucker for fourth wall breaks, lol)! And I mean, that Phinabella moment near the end is just MAGNIFIQUE, YES, FOURTH WALL BREAK, PHINABELLA KISS REFERENCES, AND PHINEAS FLIRTING WITH ISABELLA??? WE LOVE TO SEE IT.
We’re Back
and THIS SONG. THIS SONG RIGHT HERE. I can’t think of a better re-introduction to these characters after saying goodbye to them years ago. This song really feels like a warm hug, a welcome home. The music video Disney released for it is especially wonderful because it incorporates scenes from the show!!! I always rock out to this one whenever it comes on. It’s a gift, truly. I love it. I needed this song this year!!!

me watching Free!: Take Your Marks!

I can’t believe it’s pretty much been a week since I watched the Timeless Medley films 1 and 2, and now I’m finally watching Film 3: Take Your Marks.
I’m super excited but also a lil anxious because my RinHaru fangirl-heart needs to be FED and I know I will implode out of frustration if I don’t get any quality RinHaru content.
Yes, I know it’s an addiction, but at this point I really don’t care ✌🏾😎
Anyways, I’ll be live-journaling my thoughts while watching this again. Honestly, the only reason I do this is because I actually love going back and re-experiencing my initial reactions. Again, addicted.
Plus I really wish I had better journaled my thoughts while watching Season 1, but who knew I was gonna be snatched by the throat and dragged down deep into the murky depths of this anime. Well, ya live and ya learn.
Disclaimer: this is literally just the random thoughts that came to me while watching the film live, so it’s neither coherent nor is it a proper review; I was too caught up in watching the movie, screeching into my hands every time Rin Matsuoka came on screen, and finally coming to grips within myself to the fact that I actually was in love with this beautiful red-haired sharkboy.

4:31 AM | THE WAY IM JUST AJSNSJSNSSKKBCUEHDH this episode was so sweet and hilarious and IMINLOVEWITHRIN and just wonderful! This was my fav episode out of the film, it was just so sweet and everyone came together to give Rin a going away party. Seeing Samezeka and Iwatobi both having fun together was so touching, and it was Fun who brought them all together. Really goes to show how special Rin is to everyone; Coach Sasube even was looking on at Rin interacting with everyone and had flashbacks of Lil Rin laughing and having fun with other back then. Rin really leaves a mark on everyone he comes across, and I adore him for it. I actually want to be like that to be like Rin in that way. Wow. I love these boys and I love Rin’s friendship with all the people in his life and I LOVE RIN MATSUOKA.
Now time to finally move onto Season 3! I want to so badly do it right now, but it’s really late on a Sunday and it really sucks trying to document my thoughts on the same device that I’m watching the anime :P But I will definitely be starting it soon, no procrastinating like I’ve done with AOT and Haikyuu, PROMISE!

Mini Review: Chris Master Ep
I don't care what anyone else says or thinks but I swear these Season 3 eps are getting better and better. LIKE!?! CHRIS MASTER WAS LEGIT TOY STORY MEETS MIRACULOUS!! I dieddddddd laughing like omggg this was everythinggg. Too bad we didn't really get any Love Square moments but eh it was still an amazing episode. The animation was especially awesome. And seeing Nino carrying his little brother was so freaking cuuuuute i canttt!!

EPISODE 04: Being in The Minority Just Makes Things More Fun
When the teams arrived for their next challenge, they finally learned what had been in their Greenhouses all along......... a PLANT MONSTER! Turns out, doing chemical testing on plants is maybe the worst idea ever, Hilbert. The teams now faced a dilemma - should they ignore the vicious mutant in their ventilation system and take a hit to their overall challenge score, or would one person be brave enough to fight back against the plant and forfeit their vote at their next Space Council?
Minkowski chose the disadvantage. On Lovelace, a martyr emerged: Karter took a hit for their team and fought the monster.
As it turned out, this sacrifice made a difference - Lovelace ended up winning the flash game challenge, sending Minkowski back to Space Council for the third time. Stevie was voted out 4 - 1 and became the fourth person inside the star.

Awright, guess I'm overdue for one of these.
We went to another council after voting off Karen, and the way the vote split the first round made it an easy proposition. Jay left in a unanimous vote, and I'm not too upset about it. Sucks that he got voted out while he was away, but it means he couldn't make a push for himself so the vote never really deviated.
I'm a bit concerned that the next vote will be a Stevie slam dunk. Is that the best course for me? Realistically... probably. But the thought is bouncing around in my mind that it might not be awful to get rid of Richie here. He's so well insulated and liked. Would I be able to turn the votes on him? Or would that bounce back on me?
For now, anyway, I think I've got both Jakey and Josh firmly in my camp. And we're starting to gel as a team. That last comp win was clutch from everyone and executed damn well near flawlessly (minus an interruption from Zo – THANKS ZO.)

ok soooo last round we won immunity so nothing happened!!! we were all super excited to win a challenge and have a damn moment to relax. god.
and THIS round was a flash game so we obviously lost!!! that flash game was fucking HELL i played it for two hours straight and was just losing so much and getting so annoyed... ugh im just SO glad its over pls no more flash games like dat pls.. i got the worst score on the team, werk. LKJDFHGL i am not used to being a challenge flop but tbh im such a target already i feel that i'm going to take this and run with it
ok um honestly i didn't realize how much control i had on this team until NOW JKFJKFJK... i thought my social game was a complete mess, but apparently not that bad??? i have these ppl thinking my social game sucks and my physical game sucks so if i can keep that up, who gon stop me??? lydia???? probably tbh but imma keep running with it!!!
so basically right away i want a group with me, richie, and renee. i need that feeling of comfort and yeah... knowing i have 2 votes by my side i can almost 100% trust is EVERYTHINGGG cause i can be fairly confident that the vote will at LEAST tie in my favor. so i finally got these 2 to communicate and eventually richie makes the chat with all of us and im just like ah... mission accomplished. LKJHFKHJF i love these two and i DO trust them the most right now. my bbys and NO ONE is touching them ....
pat i think trusts me more than i thought he did which is good!!! i know i cant piss him off so im gonna hav to be careful what i tell richie/renee about him and vice versa. we'll see if my game starts to get messy later but for now i think it's being maintained! josh is the person im least close to and ik he has a good relationship with pat. the group i made w richie n renee was also in case we stay on these teams, we'll have a 3-2 majority over pat and josh.
whew so far im honestly happy w the way this game is going!!! stevie should be leaving unanimously this round unless he has an idol but at this point im assuming no one is finding that idol anytime soon cause there's just a very little chance of someone being that lucky kFJKFJK so yeah!!!! im nervous the other team is going to pick us all off at swap or merge hahahaha but they won't if i have anything to do about it :~~) being in the minority just makes things more fun!!
i can't wait to play with katie and carson!!! but......... theyre super loyal players soooo do they already have defined loyalty to other ppl on their tribes???? probably so im annoyed!!!! ill just make them fall in love w me so they have to take me to the end its fine
