Random Thought

So, a while back I posted a pic of all the Pokemon dudes that I like despite knowing basically nothing about Pokemon, and it's become a very shocking fact to me that despite their apparent popularity, the train dudes do basically nothing in their home game.

#how do i know they do nothing if i don't play pokemon?#because i looked through a playilst of an old chugg/a/conroy LP and they weren't in a single thumbnail for that series #that dude covers EVERYTHING in a series. if they were important they would have been there #i guess side characters are capable of getting large fan bases for basically no reason #but i find it very odd regardless #is it a fun mode?#is there a different piece of media that led to their popularity?#because i have minimal interest in pokemon as a series outside of character/creature design #i don't mind looking up spoilers for it #so i know that ingo in particular got a boost after arceus for *Reasons*#and the inherent tragedy of that story was sure to increase the fans of both #but why the heck were they popular before that?#because them being on my personal list is because #i was bombarded with fanart about them for like 2 months so i was basically suckered into caring about them #anyway. i don't think i'm gonna go through the trouble of updating that graphic #but these are the new pokedudes that would be added to it:#gordie. as per forgetting him the first time.#the principal of the school and his alter ego #the dark type leader of team star #the biology. art. and cooking teacher #larry.#and the professor from pokemon sleep #for the record there are pokegals that i like too but that list is much shorter than thus much less interesting #it's hard for me to get into anime girls because i always feel like they're trying to sell me something #and i'm usually not buying

me fighting ( and defeating) the donphan titan with arvens level 44 pokemon I've never seen while I have my level 28 floatzel and tsareena O__O

#quick claw with a Terastallized floatzel!!!!!#encountered that guy when I was just wandering around I was like level -24 when I first encountered that guy #(literally got my 3rd gym badge at that time LOL)#I have came back ..... after defeating the dark and fire type team star leaders and the electric gym!!!!!!!!!!#when I fought the titan again I got oneshoted because they went first lol but on my second try #my floatzel was faster :] (quick claw!) and I Terastallized w surf and got like half thier health!#and then he oneshotted me again lol #BUT...! then I used my tsareena and I faster than him ! (and his rapid spin only did 2/4 of my health!!!) so I just #spammed trip kick till I won #OH !!! and the titan was completely targeting arvens pokemon ! big win for me #amelia stop talking challenge

I obviously believe in girl dad!yeonjun supremacy (read more here and here) but I feel like he could also have an extremely cool son- think adult-size sunglasses too big for his lil face. a taste for fashion when his friends are wearing those horrendous neon Nike shorts. but yeonjun's daughter would be such a daddy's girl and he would be a girl dad first and foremost. yeonjun isn't as into video games as some of the other members so I feel like his son (or daughter) wouldn't be as into them as the kids of the other members either

I believe in girl dad!soobin because 1.) it's the most adorable thing ever and 2.) I think it would be so funny

hear me out, we obviously saw him with the twins but he said he was super nervous going into that since he is only used to hanging out with his nephew. imagine soobin with two daughters having his first son and he thinks it's gonna be a breeze since "boys are easier" but boy, was he wrong. his cutie son is a lot to handle and it turns out raising a boy from birth is a *lot* different than being a leader

like every other moa, I can see soob having the most kids. he just seems like the type of guy to have kids hanging off of him. plays video games with his kids but is also very strict about them washing their face/brushing their teeth. reads to them a lot and gets sucked into the storybooks they read together even when it's something silly like the day the crayons quit (a favorite of mine when I was a student librarian hehe)

BOY DAD!!! I know girl dad!beomgyu is so popular but I just feel in my heart that he is a boy dad!! picture him and his son in matching sunglasses and tshirts. those silly ones with like "the original" on his and "the remix" on his son's. would call the baby "beomgyu junior" the whole pregnancy but once the baby was born he would have a million lil nicknames for that kid.

I can specifically picture beomgyu getting one of the other members to both go out with their babies in carriers on their chests and they just wave to everyone they see with the babies' hands. like, use the babies' hands to wave instead of theirs

boy dad beomgyu who builds the best pillowforts and is the best at play fighting and buys the coolest nerf guns and foam swords. boy dad beomgyu who had a special relationship with his dad and carries those traditions on with his kids. boy dad beomgyu who plays guitar for his kids and they think he's the coolest dad ever

if he has a daughter, she totally roughhouses with the boys but she gets princess treatment when she sits on daddy's lap while he plays guitar, her tiny fingers resting on the wood so she can feel the vibrations of the music. her big eyes filled with such deep appreciation for the music.

hmmm, honestly I also feel boy dad but he has a science son :) his wide-eyed son with glow in the dark stars on his ceiling and an ant farm and he exclusively wears dinosaur tshirts. taehyun and him nerd out together all the time. his son loves the planetarium and the library and also is in all the school plays. plays minecraft with beomgyu's son and soobin's oldest daughter

however, I can also see tyun's kids playing a lot of soccer (I can see him with two boys, close in age). they both would be on the soccer team that he assistant coaches (thank you @https-yeonjun for that headcanon<3). they are both into soccer- just like their daddy- and the one is into a bunch of other sports so he's always off to practice somewhere with his grass-stained knees and toothy grin. the three of them would spend match days glued to the tv to watch their favorite team. he'd buy them all matching jerseys for their favorite team too, with each of their favorite players names on the back

also taehyun would absolutely get a cat for his kids and they would have a chore wheel for days on who feeds it/ cleans the litterbox

if tyun had a daughter she would have the highest standards as a grown-up like. not quite spoiled like yeonjun's daughter, but omg the absolute most princess treatment of all time. that girl would have all her oranges peeled and her juice poured in her favorite cup and her hair brushed and she would never walk because she'd want to be carried everywhere and her daddy is strong so he carries her. she totally wears the matching soccer jerseys with her brothers and daddy too like, c'mon. soccer jersey and tutu and she absolutely crushes the other team when she's on the field

I feel like hyuka girl dad??? I also feel like he has the second most kids behind soobin. his daughter is just like him, effortlessly good at playing musical instruments. she plays like 4 and the house is always full of music. he's really calm as a dad and he isn't super shook when his kids act up. really good at gentle parenting and loves to teach his kids through their shared interests.

his daughter's bed is absolutely full of plushies. she def collects them and names them and they have a special order they have to go in on her bed. she sleeps with them all every night and gives each one a kiss before she goes to sleep. he takes her to the store and is the biggest enabler of her collection. he says he isn't spoiling her, just gifting her as a fellow collector, but we know she's spoiled

you know how hyuka is a copy-and-paste of his dad? if he has a son it's 100% gonna be a carbon copy of him. like, that boy is a HUENING and everyone can tell. tallest kid in his grade and has the exact same laugh and nose and eye crinkles.

any hueningkids would absolutely LOVE pokemon though, just like their dad. and they would totally get a dog and name it eevee

May I request headcannons for Arven,penny,Nemoma and Mr Hassel(my new dad) with a reader who actually lost their main partner who was a deathly protective mightyena but was…removed should we say…by their dad who was a fighting type gym leader but hated that his kid had a Pokémon like Mightyena,so he had a incredibly violent fight with his lucario and mighty was unfortunately lost in the end.Reader ran away and found a little rockruff puppy who was abandoned,he later became a dusk form lycanrock who is fiercely protective of reader.

I wonder how Hassel would react to a parent doing something so unforgivable to their child and seeing how close she is to her lycanrock and how terrified of fighting types she is.

How would Arven feel seeing someone who dropped everything to help him because she couldn’t stand seeing the cycle repeat in a way.

What about nemona? Would reader be terrified to let lycanrock battle against her pawmot?

If this is to dark I completely understand!

Arven

He knows a thing or two about having shitty parents.

But absolutely nothing could've prepared him for the truth of why you never spoke to your dad and went through so much trouble to help his Mabosstiff recover:

Because you, too, had a dark type dog Pokémon partner..but tragically lost them after a vicious battle with your dad, a fighting type gym leader who was disappointed in you choosing Mightyena as your ace.

You two had an argument that turned violent as he sent his Lucario against Might, Mega Evolving him to teach you both a "lesson" that ended up wounding them badly.

He didn't think it was fatal, but sadly not even a Pokémon Center could heal their severe injuries.

So you comforted Might in their last moments, burying them that night and grieving, before running away from home--never speaking to your father again after that incident.

At some point, you found a friend in an abandoned Rockruff: a very young one left on a leash outside by their trainer.

You two formed a connection, and years later they remained by your side, having evolved into a Dusk Lycanroc that had the same protectiveness and loyalty as Might once did.

Arven already has tears in his eyes by the time you finish telling him everything, and when you bring out Lycanroc, he has nothing but respect for them.

Both of you wind up making sandwiches and take a break from tracking down the Titan Pokémon.

He's glad he opened up to you, and vice versa.

But boy, he'd love to give your dad hell for what he put you through.

Penny

During Operation: Starfall, you had a pretty bad panic attack when Eri brought out Lucario--an event that Penny unfortunately witnessed.

Your Dusk Lycanroc knew why you were so distressed and, despite the obvious type disadvantage, was fueled with enough rage to cleave through her team and take down the Starmobile.

After that, they helped you calm down and recuperate.

Later, after Penny reveals that she's the Team Star leader, she talks to you in private and admits to seeing that frightening moment.

But she's still unsure why you reacted that way.

Since she was open to you, though, you decided to open up to her about your past with Mightyena and how you lost them after fighting your dad's Lucario.

And you see the shock in her eyes before she shakily mutters "I'm so sorry", realizing she played a part in making you relive that trauma by battling Eri.

But you reassure her it's okay. She didn't know, and you don't hold it against either of them.

You've just been afraid of fighting types for so long, which is why you saved the Caph Squad base for last.

She's a gal of few words, but she's willing to lend you her Eeveelutions for emotional support should you ever need them.

There's a good chance she's always gonna feel somewhat guilty, especially when she catches Lycanroc sneaking glares at Eri and her team.

Nemona

Your battles with her start out normal, with your Dusk Lycanroc taking down most of her team with ease.

But when she sent out her Pawmo for the first time, you become frozen with fear--something that she notices right away and stops the fight.

She asks if you're okay, but you just quietly switch Lycanroc out for another Pokémon and swiftly end the battle before leaving.

It'll be a long while before you admit to Nemona why you looked so terrified that day, so she assumes you had a bad experience with a Pawmo before.

But when you feel comfortable enough to tell her, she feels guilty and promises to change up her team.

Ngl she's probably gonna tear up after learning how awful your dad was to your Mightyena.

She vows to battle the bastard himself and take away his gym badge for good.

But you tell her it's okay. Karma will come for him, and you just wanted to continue healing from your past wounds.

Eventually, you'll be fine battling her Pawmot, though knowing her passion you just...have this nagging fear that she might overdo it and seriously hurt your Lycanroc.

So you avoid using them if she sends that one out.

Hassel

Of all the teachers, he was closest to being the father figure you always wanted, but never got (considering your own was a dirtbag who didn't deserve his gym badge).

So you trusted him a lot, often chatting with him about homework, his elite four job, or how your treasure hunt was going.

But one day, Hassel notices how sad and distant you seemed in class today.

Considering you're always participating, it's unusual seeing you be so quiet.

So he asks you to stop by later, wondering what was weighing so heavily on your mind.

He may or may not have brought you to tears as you explain that today was the anniversary of your Mightyena's death.

After you go into detail of how your Dusk Lycanroc became your next companion, he starts sobbing his eyes out while hugging you.

Never in his life could he imagine a parent doing something so awful to their child's Pokémon.

It shatters him to know that you, too, were being forced to follow in someone else's footsteps, with your dad wanting to raise fighting-type trainers but you wishing to have a dark-type partner...and ultimately being punished for it.

Since then, Hassel has been 100% supportive of you, always saying that he'd proud of you and how well you raised your Lycanroc.

Star Guardian Aphelios! I'm working on cooking up an entire Star Guardian AU, so look out for more designs soon! More info under the cut! (Long lore dump incoming)

Year: 3 Blood Type: O+ Hobby: Stargazing Favorite Food: Mooncakes Favorite Subject: Astronomy Proficiency: Sharpshooting Magical Medium: Twin jackalopes Apollo and Artemis are connected to Alune and Aphelios respectively. Artemis' fiery spirit balances out with Aphelios' cool demeanor. From dealing with fighting monsters, training their new team, interacting with new people, or even cramming before an exam, Aphelios and Artemis are able to put their heads together to achieve their best results.

History: Hailing from one of the many adjacent Star Clusters of Targon Prime, Aphelios and his twin sister, Alune were a part of a team of Star Guardians years ago that swore to protect their home from the forces of darkness.

Aphelios and Alune worked alongside their team- consisting of Diana, the twins, and Briar- for years. Briar, being their newest member, was still unsure of her power she had as a Star Guardian. One day the team had found themselves standing off against Morgana in order to defend their home, and that was when tragedy struck. Briar, being seen as the weakest, was lured in by Morgana's dark power. Easily, Briar became overwhelmed by it and lost control. Her power corrupted her and turned her to evil. Almost instantly, she began attacking her comrades in her frenzied state.

Without much time to act, Alune tried to figure out a way to stop Briar while Diana and Aphelios worked to hold her off. The two struggled against their corrupted ally and were both on the brink of being defeated. In a desperate attempt to protect her allies- especially her twin brother- Alune channeled the power of the First Star to banish Briar to the darkest depths of the cosmos to ensure she could never hurt anyone again. However, such a great burst of power came with a cost. Such an act tore holes into the stars around them, transforming into portals . The surprise of such an event gave Briar a moment to strike. She lunged to attack Diana, the leader of their team, in an attempt escape.

Aphelios did not know how to react. He could take the chance to rescue Diana, or use this opportunity to escape with his sister. He found himself frozen.

But Alune took action. To protect him, Alune rushed Aphelios to one of the torn open portals. Aphelios protested, fighting back against his sister, but it was too late. He found himself on the edge of two worlds. He gripped onto his twin sister, attempting to pull her to join him, but Alune felt herself get ripped away. The last thing Aphelios saw of his world was Diana collapsed on the ground and Briar pulling Alune with her into the depths of space.

Aphelios fell from the portal and crashed into a park in Valoran City, completely unsure of where he was. All he knew is that he had to find some way home. He had to find Diana and figure out where his sister had ended up.

Though he couldn't do it alone.

Now, Aphelios has found himself taking the lead of his own team of new Star Guardians in the hopes of reuniting with his former allies by any means necessary.

So I found out in a Pokémon Masters OST comments section of all places that Atticus shows up as a special vendor in the auction market in Porto Marinada, and the things he sells are clothing items that are easter eggs from past games. The thing I find weird about it is that Atticus himself says that he "took inspiration" from clothing items to make replicas of them to sell. Which is fine except for the fact that there are some items he should have NO WAY OF KNOWING IT EXISTS.

So for funsies I'm ranking all of Atticus's auction items by how likely it is that he and the average Pokémon citizen would be aware of the existence of the things they're replicas of

Ball Guy Helmet: 10/10

Literally a famous sports mascot. Maybe if you weren't into battles you'd be unfamiliar with him but I bet if you typed Pokémon League Galar into PokéGoogle, he'd show up everywhere. There's merch of him too. Cursed, cursed merch. Plus, Penny is from Galar so she most likely told Atticus about the Ball Guy.

Replica Leader Bag: 9/10

More obscure than the Ball Guy, but again. Penny is from Galar, she probably informed Atticus about it. Marnie is the Dark Type Gym Leader at this point. Penny knows about Marnie as much as Paldea trainers know about their Gym Leaders, especially if Atticus decided to look for any neat styles he could copy from them.

Replica Dragon Gloves: 8/10

I fully blame Giacomo for this one. Had to Google Ryuki myself because I'm not familiar with his lore, but apparently he's a famous rock guitarist. Giacomo literally wrote the background music for Team Star, I bet he knows his musicians. I can 110% picture him running up to Atticus like "DUDE DUDE YOU GOTTA MAKE THIS"

Replica Expansion Suit Helmet: 7/10

Ranks surprisingly high considering that nobody in the Pokémon fandom knows what this it because 90% of players dont know that X and Y has a post game story, but assuming Scarlet and Violet takes place a few years after X and Y's post game, Emma has probably been working as Essentia for a few years at this point. A superhero working in the capital city of the region next door to Paldea is probably gonna be recognisable

Replica Aether Shoes: …..5/10???

Uhh….. Umm…. Huh????? I guess the Aether Foundation is famous… But THAT famous…? Would a guy in Spain know about an animal conservation company from Hawaii? And even if if they are that famous, I certainly don't know the kind of shoes Apple employees wear. Or Mc Donald's employees. Or literally any other multinational company. Why the shoes, Atticus? How do you know about the shoes? Why?????

Ok now this is just getting ridiculous. Even if everybody knew about what went down in Hoenn, I can almost guarantee that nobody knows the specifics or about SOMETHING THAT WAS SECRETLY DEVELOPED BY TEAM AQUA/MAGMA

Didn't Sun and Moon's Looker postgame imply that the existence of Ultra Beasts is something that the government/ International Police has been deliberately hiding from the public????? I assume the same goes for the existence of LITERAL HUMAN ALIENS. Either someone from the Aether Foundation leaked a selfie with the Ultra Recon Squad to some obscure message board or Penny hacked the Alolan government just to give her buddy inspiration for neat clothing items he can recreate. I can't think of another explanation.

Morganatic Idol Prologue 1/10

Just as each star shines differently, each person has a different charm.

I believe that everyone has their own brilliance.

However... sometimes there are stars that emit light many times more intense.

The sparkle is so intense and dazzling...

The light is so strong that it blurs the surrounding stars, attracting everyone, making them yearn for something... and sometimes even giving them the courage to live.

I never knew that there were such overwhelmingly beautiful stars until I met them.

This is my Cinderella Story, guided by those dazzling stars...

Office

The sound of someone typing on a keyboard echoes in the noisy office

(I think this is fine)

After I finished entering the data, I let out a sigh.

(All you have to do is check it and submit it, and all your morning work is done)

Eiko Mori: Mr. Kawanaga, have you done what I asked you to do?

MC: Ah, Mori-san. Yes, please check it

Mori: Then next time, please hurry up more and give me a copy of the document

Interrupting my words, Mori-san quickly placed a stack of materials on the desk

MC: "Oh, I understand..."

I sigh softly as I listen her leaving with the sound of heels clicking.

(Additional work, huh? It can't be helped. let's hurry and get it done!)

This is Aegis Public Holdings, a company located in Tokyo.

It's a major advertising agency that handles a wide range of advertising on TV, magazines, internet, etc.

The department that produces advertisements is the Create Division, I work here as a temporary employee

When I was looking for a job, I went to the final interview at Aegis and unfortunately failed.

(I was really disappointed at that time. Fortunately I was able to get a job offer in another industry...)

I had always dreamed of becoming an advertising planner, and I just couldn't give up on working for Aegis.

That's why I chose to become a temporary employee

(When I think about that, I can't keep whining)

(I've always admired Aegis for a long time. And being able to work in the Create Division is an amazing thing in itself)

Lunch break

As i walked through a nearby park with my lunch in hand, I remembered the materials I had copied earlier.

(If I remember correctly, that was a commercial for drinking water that Mr. Mori worked on)

(That's amazing... I want to do someting big like that someday)

Mr. Mori is a full-time employee and the leader of the team I belong to. She is said to be the ace of the department.

The other employees are all people who have built up their careers through their upbringing.

(Everyone is doing a good job, looks stylish, and is full of confidence)

It's so sparkly and dazzling... I still don't have that kind of confidence...

(I mainly work as an assistant, and I don't have enough experience to be involved in the main work...)

Even in eating lunch , the difference is obvious... I make my own lunch to save money but the full-time employees get a special lunch from a fancy restaurant

(... No, no, no... The bento that I took so much effort to make won't taste as good but It's ok)

I Shake my head to get rid of the dark feeling

(I got into Aegis anyway, so now I'll work steadily and gain solid experience)

And... someday, I want to be promoted to a full-time position, create wonderful advertisements and give dreams to others

Just as I was once encouraged by an advertisement I saw when I was feeling down... that is my dream

(Okey, let's do our best this afternoon too!)

Office

(What is it? It's kind of noisy)

Manager: Everyone, listen please! The sales department has just landed an incredibly large project!

The section manager looks excited and speaks in front of everyone

Manager: It's a commercial for a new perfume from the major French brand "Esance"!

Manager: This product will be rolled out worldwide, and of course the commercial will be aired all over the world!

MC: The whole world!?

(Amazing! But why did such a worldwide project go to a Japanese agency?)

Manager: Actually, this time, Ezans has specified the image character to be used in the commercial

Manager: Exe Creed!

At that moment, the screams of female employees rang out

Exe Creed is a Japanese male idol group that is popular all over the world

Their strength lies in self-production, from song writing, composition and choreography to costume design and stage direction

With their outstanding singing and dancing, they quickly exploded in popularity as soon as they were formed and rose to the top

Their momentum is not limited to Japan, but they are a global group that has topped the American hit charts

(Even I, who don't know anything about idols, know about it)

There is not a day that goes by that I don't see them in the media and I hear that they have many passionate fans all over the world

(I see... The reason Ezans entrusted the commercial to Japan was to use Exe Creed)

(But up until now, famous Hollywood actresses have always done the commercials for Ezans)

(Japanese idol... and It's outrageous that a man is nominated...!?)

Apparently, the advertising agency that will handle this project will be decided through a competition between multiple companies

Manager: We will definitely win, we are putting the prestige of our company on the line!

The enthusiastic manager said something even more surprising

Since the person chosen was a world-famous idol we asked for a wider rang of opinions but in the end, all employees seem to be able to come up with plans, regardless of department or position

(This is a great opportunity! Even as a temporary worker, I might be able to be involved in creating advertisements from the planning stage...!)

My heart pounded violently. The feeling of "I want to try it" overflows

Female employee 1: If I'm selected does that mean I will be able to meet the Exes?

Female employee 2: I'll do it!

Mori: It's amazing that It's on a global scale and It's with Exes, I can't miss it!

While the office is buzzing with excitement, a fire is burning inside my heart. I was thinking of a plan, and I started to feel anxious.

I'll show them what I can do!

Loreleÿ is a young trainer and student at the oldest school of Paldea ; Naranja Academy. She started her first day as well as her journey alongside Menzi Nemona, who saw a wonderful friend and rival on her. As she is looking for a strong opponent to face her as she is the Champion.

When she went in Area Zero alongside Menzi Nemona, Pania Peony Rose and Pepper Arven, it was revealed that she was connected to Olim Sada, and therefore Turum and Pepper Arven in a way. She was created in Terastal energy, pretty much like the AI. Created by the single wish of having someone to have the same passions as her. She created the AI, but something else was created. Or should we say, someone else. And this someone, is Loreleÿ. She is also the adopted daughter of Mora Raifort.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Loreleÿ first appeared in front of the Academy, where she witnessed the battle between a young student, Florian, and some Team Star members. She will be amazed by the boy's talent as he just started as a Pokémon Trainer and will eventually be "enroled" by Menzi who saw potential in her. She will introduce both Florian and Loreleÿ to the school, as they are in the same class as her.

When they get to find their greatest treasure, Loreleÿ didn't know what to choose between the proposals of Menzi and Pepper, so she decided to do both without the other one knowing. She will eventually defeat all the Gym Leaders and find some Herba Mystica alongside Pepper.

She will eventually manage to defeat the Elite 4 as well as Alisma Geeta, and will be challenged one more time by Menzi with her Champion's Team, to which she managed to defeat.

When she arrives in Area Zero, she will constantly feel her heart pounding in her chest, a feeling she never had before. It was as if she had already gone to that place. Going deeper into the hole, she will manage to get into the lab, and there she finds the AI of the Professor, who revealed that the real Professor passed away some time ago. The AI will ultimately ask Loreleÿ to stop the time machine as she will be able to "fullfill the Professor's dream without needing the time machine", according to her. That's when she will reveal her past to her.

Loreleÿ was pretty much a wish of the Professor that was granted to her. As she was hoping there were 2 of her, the Professor created an AI version of her with Terastal Energy, but at the same time, Loreleÿ was also conceived as deep down, she also wish that someone could understand her vision and make her dream live on. Other than the "wish", Loreleÿ was conceived like a normal offspring would be. However, despite that, she is made of Terastal Crystals and Energy, and it can be seen when she is sad. Her tears look like crystals and her eyes also looks cristallized, pretty much like the AI when the Paradise Protocol System is activated. But considering her conditions of work in the Zero Lab, she decided it was not good for her to grow in this place, so she put her in Mora's custody, but she never forgot her (nor her son by the way).

Upon learning the truth, she was a bit lost, and she somewhat fell harder what Pepper felt at the exact moment where he realized the passing of his mother. With a heavy heart, she defeated the AI with the help of Koraidon, and says goodbye to her mother.

After those events, she often goes into Area Zero, as it is technically her hometown, and felt at peace in this place, despite being considered highly dangerous. It's pretty much her second home by now. Just like her mother, she will learn more about the Past Paradox Pokémons and will even "live" with them. By the way, she is often seen alongside a Slither Wing named Anavathmida, who is her absolute favourite Paradox 'mon.

Facts about her ! :

Her real name is Loreleÿ, but she stylized it in her Trainer Card, to add some unicity to it. Her Trainer ID is 954056.

She never knew about her origins : that's mainly because Professor Olim wanted her to grow like a normal girl, so she asked if they could keep it a secret until she will be old enough.

She never talks about her origins. The only one who knows about her backstory are Olim (obviously), her adoptive mother Mora, and Pepper, Pania and Menzi when they went on Area Zero (they discover the truth at the same time as her).

Meeting Kassis Kieran on her very first trip to Kitagami was the main process of her falling in love with him.

She never felt any hatred after Kassis wanted to get his revenge.

She felt bad when she saw how brutal he could be sometimes. That is why she accepts Irido Drayton's proposal immediately without thinking about the rest (That's what luuuve can do♥).

When they went into the Depths of Area Zero, they will find some researchs of the Professor. As Bria Bruyer was reading them, she touched the other books and tears started to come as she remembers her mother. She will avoid eye contact at first so they will not see her altered eyes.

When she faced Terapagos, she was given power by the soul of the Professor, and we could even see a glimpse of her coat on her.

This power-up allows her to stand longer against the Legendary Pokémon. But at one point she will be overwhelmed by it's power and she will be badly wounded.

It's when Kassis snapped and handled the battle with her that she was ultimately saved from being annihilated by the being. However, she needed a good amount of recovery from this battle.

She will be forgiven by Kassis because she was pretty much ready to sacrifice her life for her friends and her crush. They will eventually end up together as she was recovering in the Blueberry Academy.

She will eventually get along with Pepper and she will be helping him with his parental issues.

Some times after she caught Terapagos, she went into the Crystal Pool and saw Professor Olim Sada, or what seemed to be a past version of her or an alternate timeline of her.

She will burst in tears and hug her as all of her past was emerging back. She would eventually tell her that she was her daughter and the Professor would make the link. Seeing how she has grown and everything she has been through (scars all over her body after the Terapagos encounter), she will give her the Scarlet Book as well as her necklace as a reminder of her mother, and a touchable link between them.

Her and Juliana Aceituñna (my Pokémon Violet Main OC) came from 2 different timelines. But the events with Terapagos and the Professor in the Indigo Disk literally combined their timelines into a single one. Which means that unfortunately, both Professors died in this timeline.

It's thanks to Juliana that she will learn about Professor Turum Arven, Professor Olim Sada's husband. She will wear futuristic tights in his memory.

Note that this backstory idea came from the Indigo Disk as well as a video from Moxie2D : Pokemon Violet with ONLY Pawmi ; The Anime. This was a wonderful turn of events for me. As she didn't have any real backstory, and then all of a sudden BAM ! It all clicked.

2023 Megaman Summer Fanart Contest - Rules Thread *CLOSED*

Happy Rockman Day! Time for the 12th annual-ish Megaman Summer Fanart Contest. Am I out of original ideas yet? Feels like it. But give it your all with these theme choices!

Two categories, in which you are allowed to submit one entry for each category, if you would like. If you place in one category, you will be automatically disqualified from the other, for reasons of fairness, and to give other people a chance to win a prize.

CATEGORY 1: The Sand-ly Cup Playoffs (Talent)

The very first summer contest I held was a Megaman sports videogame box art theme, in an ode to the summer Olympics and our only real Mega Man sports game at the time, Mega Man Soccer.

Taking a cue from Capcom’s recent announcement of it’s sponsorship/tie-in support of the Japan Volleyball Association, this year, let’s focus on beach sports.

What qualifies as a beach sport? Beach volleyball, soccer, polo, frisbee, and more, just to name a few. For a decent list of options, check this page out. Want to do something else more creative not mentioned here? You are welcome to.

As always, you are free to draw whatever characters you would like. However, for this theme, I would like you to draw some sort of sand-themed Mega Man character or characters involved in either the competition or ruining the gameplay of this beach sport. Who counts as a sand-themed character? Any major or minor character whose stage or design involves sand/desert works for me. Some examples could be: Pharaoh Man, Ground Man, Commando Man, Desertman.EXE, Anubis Necromancess, Terra Condor, Sand Snake, Pantheon Zombies, Mummira, etc.

Content Requirements:

* Characters playing some type of beach sport on a sand surface

Huh? This isn’t the beach, this is a fanart contest rules thread!

It’s time to draw the heroes of the beach, those watching over the waters for dangers and saving people’s lives. The theme for this category is lifeguards. And one show that definitely mixed lifeguards and campy humor at times was Baywatch. Let’s draw a spiritual successor starring (The) Rockman as the leader of a ragtag group of beach lifeguards. Your goal for this category is to draw your favorite Megaman characters in some sort of humorous scene involving lifeguards wearing those iconic red swimsuits/trunks.

Illustrate slow-motion running with oily tans, rescuing Navis from Sharkman.EXE attacks, poorly written, long-form story comics about battling criminal activity while wearing a gratuitous, fan-servicey swimsuits the entire time, etc. Parody one of your favorite episodes, like that one time they held a funeral for a lifeguard on the beach, except this time it’s all the unlockable swimsuit characters holding a funeral for the XDive character who won’t ever get a skin because the game is dead. (Too soon? Yeah...)

* At least one character as a lifeguard, in red swimsuits/trunks in a parody of the Baywatch series

* As the humor category, entries will be judged on things like visual gags and how much they make us laugh, on top of meeting basic content requirements.

HI UR ENABLING MY TENDENCIES. I LOVE MY LITTLE VIDEO GAME BOYFRIEND

but ask amd u shall receive. i will now be listing off every piece of canon information abt him i can think of. HERE GOES

Avery is a tall, skinny (but he has, and i usually dont like these words together, thick thighs) white guy with long blond hair and like. those creepy kinda icy blue eyes 👁👁

He's a psychic type trainer and minor-division gym leader!!! he's also an ACTUAL psychic, hailing from a long lineage of psychics, and has telekinetic abilities :3 however, telekinesis is the only psychic ability he has, so he's kind of the black sheep of his family

because his family thought of him as a disappointment, he developed a like. superiority complex to compensate for his simultaneous inferiority complex. he's very prideful and even would go so far as to LITERALLY LEVITATE PEOPLE if they won against him in battles. he basically covers up his feelings of inadequacy by flaunting his good qualities, though he's prone to exaggerating them as well. he literally straight up pretends to have psychic visions and literally goes "AVERY TELEPORT" when leaving the area

he initially arrived at the dojo in the isle of armor due to being kicked out of the league as a gym trainer for levitating people 💀 he was kind of an asshole at first but since mustard and honey were so nice to him, he kinda chilled out too. HOWEVER when he met the player character, his Superiority-Inferiority complex kind of came back in full swing. he saw that they were better than them and literally LIED to them to keep them away from the dojo. when they make their way to the dojo, he basically fought tooth and nail to make sure he bested them in all of the trials, going so far as to even cheat during the battle by setting up psychic terrain, giving himself an advantage 😭

after he's beaten, he basically goes tsundere mode and is like. "If Only I Was As Strong As . . . BAH FORGET IT ." and after the player beats mustard, avery like. kind of realizes that he wants to be acknowledged by them. he literally trains alone in the dam desert like "OH SLOWPOKE WE'RE REALLY IN IT NOW .... OH TO BE RECOGNIZED BY YOU-KNOW-WHO...." and from then on u can battle him every day :3

after all this, he becomes the minor-division psychic leader 🫡 hard work DOES PAY OFF

AND NOW FOR SOME MISCELLANEOUS but still canon facts

avery's final team is galarian slowbro, galarian rapidash, swoobat (she's the only girl in his team btw :3), alakazam, and galarian slowking! in the galarian star tournament, he only uses his slowbro, alakazam, and slowking :3

avery (and klara, by extension) has a chance of fighting alongside u in a raid battle on the isle of armor! idk what the exact likelihood is though but they Definitely don't show up with each one but. he still oulls up on occasion o7

in the galarian star tournament, he has special dialogue with mustard, bede, fucking SHIELBERT, marnie, and melony!

it's implied that he's afraid of dark types, considering said special dialogue with marnie is like "🥲 I Do Not Wish To Be On The Field With A Dark Type Trainer, But At Least We Are On The Same Side." becaude of this, it could ALSO be implied that he's afraid of ghost types and bug types, considering that dark, ghost, and bug are all strong against psychic types

according to the manga, he's a little weak and tires easily due to his reliance on his telekinesis

...HOWEVER, his second league card shows him.doing pushups with a whole ass galarian slowbro on his back WITHOUT telekinesis, so despite his low stamina, he can lift at least 155.4 lb

due to his speech patterns, avery seems to have a pretty keen ability to associate things with psychic types, or pokemon in general. he often incorporates different psychic type moves in his speech and talks about people (or, the player, specifically) as if they have like. pokemon natures (bold, quirky, hasty, etc.)

avery strongly values elegance and tries to conduct himself in a very gentlemanly way <3 however, he's not immune to being sassy and definitely will be snooty to someone's face

besides the psychic type uniform, avery's clothing is definitely 19th-century inspired! his hat, cravat, shoes, and socks are definitely inspired by victorian dandyism imo. even his glasses are very victorian

Gym Leaders

There are Twelve different Gym's in Luxure, however you only need to win Eight badges to qualify to face the Elite 4. The Gyms have no order and can be faced at any point in nay order, the Leader's shifting their teams depending on how many badges you currently possess

The Gym circit is just for fun so the Gym's all have a secondary, recreational, purpose. And defeating the Champion gives you a speical badge, a badge that lets you hang out with the Elite 4 whenever you desire. Basically a key to their secret club house

In Gym Battles, the Luxure Gym Leaders must be faced in Pleasure Battles (for more info, read here). This also applies to the Elite 4 and Champion, although the Elite 4 increase the strength and the Champion pushes it even further.

Whitney runs a farm as her gyms extra action. The farm helping to support all of Luxure, reducing the amount of food that is needed to be imported.

Whitney is the most fair when it comes to Pleasure Battles, however she does act bratty in hopes of distracting her foes and make them want to 'punish' her

Clair (Dragon)

The dominant Clair runs a museum, her gym dedicated to Dragon Pokemon and the history of many tribes focused around the mystical type of Pokemon

An added twist to the Pleasure Battles with Clair is the fact the buzzing never stops.

Flannery (Fire)

Flannery runs a hot spring with her gym. And the twist she runs, well the passioante and hot headed girl has herself and her challenger naked

Candice (Ice)

Candice runs a skii lodge at her Gym. And like Whitney, does not have a twist to her Pleasure Battles

Elesa (Electric)

Elesa being a model and a star, she has her gym at PokeStar's Studio. A more... adult branch. And the twist she uses is... you and her are being filmed while it happens. You get to keep the tape afterwards, lol

Skyla (Flying)

Handgliding is an event held at Skyla's gym, gliding across the vast oceans of the region. And for her Pleasure Battle twist, she has some Gym Attendents groping both herself and you during the battle.

Mallow (Grass)

Mallow runs an outsdie kitchen slash exotic garden, the kind girl being a bit kinky with her twist to the Pleasure Battles. Mallow and her challenger edge each other three times before the Battle starts

Olivia (Rock)

Olivia does rock climbing with the cliff face near her Gym, both artifical and real. Seeing no reason, she has no twists on her Pleasure Battles. Although herself and her challenger do fuck before the battle.

Bae (Fighting)

Bea, The Galar karate prodigy, is the Fighting type Gym Leader of Galar. Living in Stow-on-Side, she is a serious fighter. Trying not to show weakness she hides her emotions, emotions that some times leak out during the height of battle. She also loves sweets.

Her Gym in Luxure is an actual gym. Weights, treadmills, all that stuff. And you have to have a work out before you challenge her to a Pleasure Battle.

Nessa (Water)

Nessa is the raging wave, the Water Gym Leader of Galar. From Hulbury, she is a fashion model on the side. She is very calm, but still highly competitive.

Her Gym is a small Water Resort. And the twist she puts on Pleasure Battles? There is none.

Klara (Poison)

Klara's Gym works as a sex club. The bully bitch of a Poison Master enjoying the fun

And her trial during a Pleasure Battle has both contestents be under the effects of an Aphrodisiac during the battle.

Elite 4

When facing the Elite 4, there is no gimicks to the Pleasure Battles. The intensity is just increased between each level. And after you defeat them, well it is sexy time. It is a test on your stamina, endurance and will as well as your battle skills

Against Cynthia, the devices used for Pleasure Battles might as well be called f-machines. The pleasure they give pushed to the ultimate limit. And at most, you have a half an hour break between the four and her.

@nikstrange - love at first sight trope, college au. either all-star b-ball player heeseung (yandere) with ballerina reader, or college bad boy heeseung (still yandere) with ballerina/music study reader. my dear Nik would be very much like MGR/MRE/HHP Y/n, very graceful, realist, rational, and elegant type, dedicated and looking forward to her date with the football team captain....until good ol' Heeseung catches wind of the date and essentially steals her away by being a bit forceful but its all out of love. very similar to the heethan/readen type.

@silcry - enemies/rivals to lovers trope. Silky would be my successful career oriented (dont need a man because she a bad-b) type. and i'd pair her with Jay or heeseung. The male lead would be someone that works for a rival company or corporation and they literally just hate each others guts until some mad, intense, good old fashion smut comes along and it would be glorious. Not sure if i would have the male lead yandere per say, but they definitely be a bit possessive and territorial over her once they fucked worked out their hatred for eachother. ;)

@iamliacamila - forbidden love trope. she probably dont know this but i definitely thought of her alot when i draft the chapters of DT, so i would say the stepbrother trope (oh girl.....i'm sorry...i think? lol its good but also....damn.....two heeseungs? can you take that?) yeah stepbrother tropes. either one heeseung stepbrother or make it the heebro twins, either way, my dear camila would be my wise, hardworking and beautiful y/n who ends up attracting her newly acquired stepbrother (heeseung....and yes he would be yandere) and....i would imagine it where the moment heeseung would strike....would be at a family camping trip, where due to the shortage of tents, step siblings have to share a tent and......yandere step-brother heeseung be taking the opportunity to make her his...if you know,......you know.

@csmicvrse - forbidden love/criminal love trope. oh....my girl...idk why....but i'd have her with a trope that's very similar to the TO series. criminal heeseung (yandere) and my quiet and innocent baby girl, running a floral shop or a small boutique and catches the eye of yandere heeseung....who takes her (in the usual yandere fashion) and straight up keeps her locked away but takes suuuuuuuuch good care of her. like literally, gives her everything she wants. you'll see, future TO chapters you're going to get a hint of it.

@heeshees - childhood lovers trope. i just picture her being that sweet and beautiful girl next door that is always helpful. She befriends nerdy HS and they become really good friends....but then she had to move away. they keep in touch through email and two years later after they start college, they find out that they are going to attend the same university. when they finally meet to catch up...nerdy HS is not so....nerdy.....and he's yandere...for her.....has been for a long time. and while she may be dazzling her smile and just thinking he's being such a cordial friend, HS be planning behind closed doors to have her all to himself. (i love a good dark romance...dont you?)

@moonmoongi - Folklore love trope. Ever since Robin Hood, i can't get her out of the thought of having her as the princess or maiden that is saved by the dashing male lead....sort of a vigilante type, who discovers our girl and (yes....you guessed it) goes yandere for her, but a soft yandere. he lavishes her with gifts and takes her up on high buildings to stargaze. he'd give her the world....but watch out if you talk, look, or try to hurt her...Robin Hood or vigilante HS would be a brutal yandere.

@lisaaannna - damsel in distress love trope. she is so gentle and kind, but people would try and take her for granted....until heeseung or niki, comes around and i'd make them a mafia leader, they would be yandere for her and protect her.....by stealing her away. but, as usual, spoil her....to no ends. nobody can mess with her because HS or Niki would have connections and eyes everywhere. let someone try and mess with her....yo....you all know what those mafia leaders are capable of.

@vampiregirl215 - Dark fantasy/demonic love trope. Yeah...ever since SE7EN.....my girl is literally going to be the y/n for that type of trope. She be the mortal princess who loved and secretly wedded the demon prince heeseung. when a mortal prince tries to get sneaky by corrupting her father, the king, and convincing him to marrying her off so the prince could have her, demonic heeseung unleashes his wrath and gets her back. this would be one where i would make heeseung AND the villain both yandere for her, and that's what makes it interesting and the villain more dangerous.

@talesofyuan - past lives love trope. i'd pair her with kei and yo....this man be so yandere for her. they were lovers in their previous lives hundreds of years ago. reborn and living in today's world, they are strangers that meet, and their souls connect instantly and kei be having this instinctive urge to keep her. he'd be that yandere to that would be sooooo brutal but very sexy at the same time. sis is going to look at this and probably give me the bombastic side eye later lol. she knows i love her though.

PokéOmens! Gym Leader 2: Anthony J. Crowley

I don't know why it took so long to post him, but here he is! In the flesh! Your Grass gymleader! I'm so sorry to the 79.5% who guessed the other likely choices. A good chunk of you are probably wondering, "Why isn't he a dark type gymleader? Isn't he the dark duke?" or "He's literally fireproof! He makes the stars, which are burning gasses of light! Why no fire?!"

Well, let's talk about him!

Back in 2019 (yes, 2019), I wanted to do PokeOmens, but instead of the GO cast being Gym Leaders, they were all Pokémon. Aziraphale was a Rowlett and Crowley was (originally) a Litten...that was until I saw a post from @speremint on her Instagram. She made Pokémon teams for both and gave Crowley a Snivy (if anyone knows what picture I'm talking about, hats off to you). From that day forward, I couldn't see him with a fire type team. Sure, he made the stars back in the day, but that was his past, not his present. He's resistant to fire, but he's scared that'll take away the things he loves. He is the dark duke, but that's a title, not him.

Mr. Crowley isn't just a gymleader. His gym works as a Grass Pokémon sanctuary for nurturing and training stray Pokémon, but he says that he does to rid fluctuating stray population in the region. The only downside is that some people don't have a keen eye and just give him anything that's green. A couple of those mishaps actually went to his partner roommate. His outfit (a mixture between Crowley's pub attire in the second episode of Season 2 and Cassius from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet) was created by his lovely friend who thought maroon would be a lovely accent color. "It's a bit purplish, right?" No, Azira. It is not.

Meet Anthony's adopted Care Team! (Created by my partner in crime)

Centi the Minior - Wait...that's not a grass type. Well, Anthony doesn't care. He's had Centi for as long as he can remember, and if other gym leaders have a problem with that, they can shove it. Besides, who else is going to nap with him when the grass Pokémon are sunbathing?

Duke the Serperior - He was Crowley's first grass type experience. Through trial and many errors, Anthony made him into a lightning quick attacker...and a bit of a spoiled brat. If Duke wasn't at the center of his trainer's attention or if another Pokémon were to invade his space by a hair, he would throw a hissy fit. Thank goodness he has Duchess to calm him down.

Duchess the Liligant - After spoiling Duke, Crowley felt it would be affective if he went in harsher direction for the next Pokémon. Thankfully, it didn't last after the first day. Poor thing was scared out of her wits. To make up for it, her trainer apologized with a little dance. She didn't know what it meant, but it did make her like him. In fact, she uses it to cheer up the sanctuary occupants, especially Duke.

Spike the Cacturne - The third time's a charm, right? Yes...and no. You see, Spike was trained properly compared to the other grass Pokémon and is quite great when battling, but Crowley never helped with her temperament. She's a fighter, not a lover. Honestly, she's barely even a tolerator. It's a good thing she only deals with training others and not caring. That's Stripe's job.

Stripe the Lurantis - He is the most caring and efficient when it comes to assisting Anthony with the nurture the sick, young and injured Pokémon. Stripe is practically harmless, and as much as his trainer dislikes that, his pacifism always wins people over.

Prickles the Maractus - While walking to his gym, Crowley spotted a box at the door. It read, "KEEP HIM PLEASE!" And he did. It's not his fault he pricks others and has a curious mind. He just needs someone who can teach him to be careful...if only it wasn't the spiky, scary one. Eh, he'll be fine.

A Sea Of Stars Pokémon AU

We have a High School AU (the SaboHigh).. what logically comes next is a Pokémon crossover AU!

Playable Characters: Zale/Valere. Whichever one is chosen will be the Protagonist, while the other will be the rival.

Garl would be a supporting character, the best friend of both the rival and the protagonist-trainer.. he wants to help support as best as he can!

Resh'an would be the region's equivalent of the scientist who gives the protagonist and rival their Pokémon (Garl gets one too!) and distributes Pokédex, et cetera.

Aephorul is the leader of the "evil team" featured in the game (I decided on the name Team Scourge), and his main thing is corrupting Pokémon and modifying them with some kind of technology to make them stronger.. so he can obliterate his foes!

Along the way we'd have gym leaders..

Erlina/Elysan: The Fire-Type gym (or Psychic Type)

Brugaves/Barma: The Ice-Type gym (or Dark Type)

Malkomud: The Flying-Type Gym

Pirates: The Water-Type Gym leaders, and friends of Seraï.

Stormcaller: The Ghost-Type Gym

Seraï would be a supporting character for them, probably this super-mysterious person who shows up and saves the trio from confrontations with Aephorul's goons a couple times with her Steelix.. and then later on is the twist that she's the Steel-Type gym leader!

Teaks would be a Pokémon scientist who is insanely interested in the lore surrounding the region's ruins and creatures.

B'st, being a human and not a golem in this AU, miiiight be another gym leader? Or perhaps a close friend of Resh'an's? He probably has a few Pokémon of his own and just casually raises them.. or could run the nursery as Pokémon breeder!

Caël and team might just be a bunch of random genius kids who give the trainers some upgrades every now and then?

If we're gonna go full SaboVerse, then I feel Shopkeeper would be the one who would run the Pokémon Center (I mean every pokémon center.. because she can teleport ahaha..) even if she is a little out-of-place in this time. None of the SoS people would know who she is, hehehe..

..I am gonna leave this as-is for now, and let my brain take over.. I know for sure I'm gonna have a lot more ideas (and very likely fanarts) about this in the future!
