God, I’m just remembering the month or so time period that EXU: Calamity was running. I rewatched some bits and pieces and it all came flooding back. The incredibly essays and character dissections, the fan art, the jokes and laughs, the horrors and countless tears. It was a tough story, but I’m so glad that I experienced such tragedy and beauty with everyone on here.
The Brass Ring Endures. As does Bolo.

It's been six months now and I STILL think about the masterful setup of "I always said, on the face of Exandria, Domunas was the smile," and the absolute gut-punch knockdown of "LET'S SHATTER HER TEETH!" every single day of my life.

Guest PCs before the pandemic: I am cute, I am whimsical. I am your new best friend. I have a shady past but I am good now. I will support your mission
Guest PCs after the pandemic: What If I’m a little bit evil. What if I’m a lot evil. What if I abuse my power and commit tax fraud. What if I murder you a little. I brought on the end of the world. This betrayer god is my best friend. I had a messy divorce.

Why do we tell stories?  To make sense of a world that can be terrifying and enormous.  In Exandria, I don't know that your story will long be known.  I don't know who will remain to tell it.  But it did happen, and it did matter.

If the Tree of Atrophy really is the Tree of Names, I vote we bring Deanna to take a look at it and give Aabria the chance to do the funniest possible thing.

The Ring of Brass.
I have finished the rewatching of the series and its still top tier storytelling. One of my favourite short (ish) stories.

I really had fun doing the Ring of Brass in this ukiyo-e(ish) style. They look cool all gathered together so here’s the full set (plus a Beau for the M9 live show). Individual images are on my blog.
Added Mx Rue from A Court of Fey and Flowers!

You think about heroic sacrifice. It doesn’t just give meaning to the person in the moment, but inspiration we have to carry with us. As this moment of tragedy washes over you, in ways that some of you already knew, the stakes are realer now than ever.
