Is there any indication that Fellow Honest has a limp like the original Honest John?
I don't think so? but we haven't actually seen him walk or anything (the sprites just zwoop around the screen like everyone's on skateboards), so no indication he doesn't either! no reason it can't be headcanon. :D
the first part of the event was pretty much all setup, so we still don't really know anything about him or Gidel at this point! we might learn a bit more when the next part comes out tomorrow (but more likely it'll be in part 4, maybe some crumbs in part 3 if we are lucky) (I am expecting part 2 to be standard "walk around and look at stuff and talk about it forever" event filler with perhaps a dramatic cliffhanger to hook us for next week) (but who can say for another...checks watch four and a half hours, wow, that next part really snuck up huh)
I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.
What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?
In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.
So! If you have thoughts and want to share them! *gestures to the post!*
Given that Avatar Szeto and Roku both showed bias to their home Fire Nation that enabled its turn to imperialism, both Yangchen and Aang created world peace but left unresolved tensions to bubble up after their death, both Kuruk and Korra were really Going Through It constantly and got kinda screwed over in a big way by dark spirits...
I kinda wonder how this new Earth Kingdom Avatar may wind up echoing Kyoshi.
Korra: *throws a ball for Naga with a burst of airbending. Naga chases after it eagerly*
Korra: I wonder where Asami is?
*A crash comes from the side of the mansion, and a wall blows outward in a blast of electricity*
Korra: *ducks* WOAH. *Runs toward it* ASAMI!
*Asami staggers out with her hair frizzed, and her hands on her hips.*
Asami: Dammit, I thought I had it this time.
Korra: *crashes into her* What happened? Are you okay? Hold on, let me get some water...
Asami: *turns and kisses Korra on the cheek* I'm fine, Korra. I... simply miscalculated, that's all. *sighs* Will have to rerun the equations and account for... that unfortunate side effect.
Korra: Wait, wait. Math causes explosions? *eyes widen* woah, maybe I should learn math after all.
One more thing. We all know Lyric has been very concerned about her Uncle’s living arrangements, so there was no way she was leaving without seeing for herself. Luckily Jayce received slightly shady approval, encouragement and words of wisdom from his fave. He can always count on Lyree to look out for him. Now we can officially leave Rebi’s country and head back home.
I still find it ridiculous and slightly amusing that Stanton LaVey and his wife Szandora confronted Lisa Carver after a Suckdog show in 2006 because they didn't like the things Lisa had to say about the Church of Satan in her autobiography Drugs are Nice. Keep in mind that Lisa was once married to Church of Satan member/all-around piece of shit Boyd Rice (who was horrendously abusive to her), so her knowledge of the Church came first-hand.
Anyway, both of them attacked Lisa and during the scuffle, Lisa tore a chunk of Szandora's hair out and she later sold it on eBay 🤣
Lisa's neck after Szandora "attacked" her. What a goof.
i think its funnier if linebeck sets a bad example for link not necessarily by generally being a dick or having bad advice, but instead by genuinely advocating for crime as a good solution to any problem
