One of the greater mysteries of the universe.
How were Buddy and Wheeljack related.
Buddy was much more of a rule follower as Wheeljack broke said rules.
Now this didn’t mean that Buddy followed the rules religiously, even they knew there were times where rules did not have a reach. Same went for Wheeljack.
As a scientist, he knew that there were certain things that had to make sense to make other things make sense.
Wheeljack holding a grenade in one servo and some engex in the other.
“We can—”--Wheeljack
Buddy taking the engex and grenade out of his servos.
“But should we…”--Buddy
“Buddy, I’m a scientist. I have questions and I’m going to get answers.”--Wheeljack
“And I’m the only one of us with most common sense, and I say no.”--Buddy
“To bad, I’m the oldest.”--Wheeljack
“Hard to tell some days.”--Buddy
“What was that?”--Wheeljack
“Nothing!”--Buddy
Another difference drawn between the two was their line of work.
Buddy worked closely with the Elite Guard, basically Ultra Magnus’s second in command.
Wheeljack was a Wrecker.
Now Buddy was on relatively good terms with most of the Wrecker’s thanks to being related to Wheeljack.
Bulkhead earned a sibling when they met.
Wheeljack placing a servo on Buddy’s shoulder.
“And this is Bulkhead. Bulkhead meet my little—”--Wheeljack
Buddy jabs him in the gut causing him too nearly double over.
They offer Bulkhead their servo to shake.
“I’m Buddy, Second in Command of Commander Ultra Magnus, and… Wheeljack’s younger sibling.”--Buddy
Bulkhead blinks before shaking their servo.
“Second in Command of Ultra Magnus, huh? You got your work cut out for ya.”--Bulkhead
“Magnus isn’t all bad. He’s a nice bot once you get to know him.”--Buddy
Wheeljack snorts.
“Yeah right, and Screamer is going to create an army of himself.”--Wheeljack
Buddy knew that the two mechs weren’t on the best terms, especially when Wheeljack decided to antagonize their Commander.
Buddy often tries to play the mediator between the two when Ultra Magnus becomes the Wrecker’s leader.
Buddy did as much as they could to keep Wheeljack on the team.
To say they were a bit spark broken that he left them was an understatement.
Magnus standing by the door seeing Buddy’s back trying to organize the ammunition rounds for the 5th time today.
He walks over and puts a servo on their shoulder.
Buddy freezes but knows who it is.
“…I just can’t believe he would leave… just like that… without even saying good-bye… Sorry you have to see this sir.”--Buddy
“Buddy… if you need some time to collect your thoughts, your more than welcome to do so.”--Magnus
Buddy shakes their helm taking in a shaky vent.
“I’ll be fine Commander.”--Buddy
“Very well then… I will be in the main room if you need me.”--Magnus
Magnus begins to walk away.
“Magnus—I mean—Ultra Magnus sir.”--Buddy
Magnus stops and looks at Buddy.
“Thank you for checking in Commander… it means a lot.”--Buddy
“…You’re welcome… and you have clearance to call me Magnus.”--Magnus
Buddy perks up a bit.
“But in closed quarters.”--Magnus
Buddy smiles a bit.
“I won’t ruin your reputation Magnus! Thanks!”--Buddy
Buddy stood by their Commander’s side as the war seemed to have grown longer without Wheeljack by their side.
Soon Magnus sent them on a shuttle to do some atmospheric patrolling, they got spotted by the Decepticon lookouts.
The seekers managed to follow them out into space before they started firing their long-range weapons on the shuttle.
Buddy hit their helm at one point trying to comm in Ultra Magnus.
It was a miracle that they managed to get into an escape pod and get shot out before the shuttle exploded.
Magnus was on the other line getting his shuttle ready to get his second in command when the line went dead, and all signatures went dead.
After a couple of days of searching for any remains, Buddy’s name was listed on the KIA list.
Wheeljack got noticed from the final list before Cybertron went dark.
In space they say that no one can hear you scream, tell that to Wheeljack when he nearly made himself deaf from the screaming.
The pod eventually lands on Earth but gets stuck and remains closed for a while in the woods.
Time skip after Magnus comes to Earth…
Miko was running from the Insecticons.
Somehow one of the cons managed to take the Apex Armor from her leaving her at the mercy of the Insecticons while the rest of the Wrecker’s tried to fend them off.
Of course, a couple strays followed her into the woods.
One of the Insecticons accidentally stumbled on the abandoned pod activating its hatch.
The shaking somehow managed to get Buddy out of stasis and woke up out of their pod.
The first thing Buddy saw was a small organic creature cornered by those blasted Insecticons.
“HEY UGLIES!”--Buddy
Miko and the Insecticons look over to see Buddy aiming their blaster at them.
Buddy doesn’t hesitate and blasts them in the face.
Miko runs out of the way as the Insecticons go down.
She looks up at her savior and eyes fall on the Autobot symbol.
“You’re an Autobot!”--Miko
Buddy raises their optic.
“Yes? How do you know that…”--Buddy
“I’m Miko, I’m actually a Wrecker myself.”--Miko
“Buddy—Wait what?”--Buddy
“You’re name is Buddy?”--Miko
“That’s not important right not Miko.”--Buddy
“I feel like it should be.”--Miko
BANG!
SSSSHHHHRRRRIIIIEEEEEKKKKKK!
“Sweet Solus Prime what was that?!”--Buddy
Miko goes up to Buddy and tries to move them to the direction.
“That’s Predaking and he is going to tear them apart if we don’t get there in time!”--Miko
“Woah, woah, woah. Predaking? Them? Kid I need a little bit more information.”--Buddy
Miko throws her arms in the air.
“Big bad dragon bot is going to Tear Magnus, Bulk—”--Miko
Buddy’s optics widen.
“Magnus? Like Ultra Magnus? And Bulkhead?”--Buddy
“Yeah and—WOAH!”--Miko
Buddy grabs Miko and begins running towards the noise.
“You know them?!”--Miko
“Know them? That’s my team!”--Buddy
Miko did her best to give directions till they came to the edge of the wood.
A giant Predacon was fighting the Wreckers.
Buddy put Miko down behind some rocks and activated her blaster and shield.
This was going to be messy.
Buddy immediately charged in, jumping on a rock, and slamming Predaking in the face.
Buddy continued to shoot their blaster at the Predacon while the others momentarily hesitated before going back to the fight.
Magnus knew from the slam that it had to be his second in command.
No one did a shield slam like they did.
Bulkhead wasn’t sure who this bot was yet, but they were helping in the fight which was good enough for him.
Wheeljack focused more on the fight than the strangely familiar looking color scheme.
Finally, Predaking was called back to the Nemesis and left the Wrecker’s.
Buddy panted a bit.
They just woke up and had to dispose of two Insecticons and battle a beast… they needed a break not blaster to the face.
Miko starts running towards the group.
“THAT WAS AWESOME!”--Miko
Bulkhead looks over at Miko in relief.
Buddy turns to Ultra Magnus, straightens out and salutes.
“Ultra Magnus sir… Sorry I was a little late on patrol…”--Buddy
Magnus slips out a rare smile and places a servo on their shoulder.
“At ease soldier. Its good to hear from you Buddy.”--Magnus
“Buddy!”--Bulkhead
Buddy gets picked up from the back by Bulkhead.
Buddy laughs a bit while patting his arm a bit.
“At ease Bulkhead. I’m fine.”--Buddy
“Fine? Last we heard you name was on the list… Hey Jackie, aren’t you going to say anything?”--Bulkhead
Buddy freezes a bit looking at Wheeljack in front of them.
They both just look at each other.
One with more shock and the other with a more neutral face.
Buddy straightens their back struts more.
“Wheeljack… it looks like you’re in good health.”--Buddy
Wheeljack snaps out of it and begins running to Buddy.
Buddy instinctively slams him with their shield knocking him back a few feet away.
“OW! What was that for?”--Wheeljack
Buddy narrows their optics at him coldly.
“As instinctual as that was, I don’t regret it. You deserve more for what you put me through.”--Buddy
“Hey, Buddy, what’s your deal with Wheeljack!”—Miko
Bulkhead gently grabs Miko close to his chassis.
“Umm… Miko I think you better leave them to it…”--Bulkhead
Buddy walks over to Magnus.
“Sir. Permission to resume my position?”--Buddy
“We will discuss it with Prime.”--Magnus
“Optimus is here. I missed so much…”--Buddy
Magnus and Buddy begin walking to the groundbrigde, Wheeljack sulking right behind them and Bulkhead holding Miko.
“Is Buddy, like, his ex or something?”--Miko
“No, Buddy’s Wheeljack’s younger sibling and Magnus’s Second in Command. They had a bit of a falling out from what I heard around before Jackie left.”--Bulkhead
“Buddy…and Wheeljack… are related?”--Miko
Bulkhead shakes his helm a bit.
“Don’t try to connect the dots on this one. No one knows how their related.”--Bulkhead

Peridot and Unlearning (Internalized & Externalized) Homophobia
i.e., here's why peridot's redemption arc is partially (a metaphor?) about unlearning homophobia
the title sounds crazy but bear with me here.
let's start off with saying NO, fusion does not = romantic love. that's an age old discourse and it can be so easily solved by stating there are many different forms of love, and sometimes fusion is just for power (which is a form of love in-of itself, albeit fucked; the love for power or toxic love) HOWEVER, in many cases, such as Garnet's, it most certainly is about romantic love. so to keep it as brief as possible, thats what we have in mind in this post. it's gay love okay.
now, let's talk about the scene i just captioned. this is from the episode "too far," which is an episode about developing a crush and accidentally hurting them in the process of trying to impress them. (however you want to look at it, but thats how i interpret it) the fact it starts off with casual homophobia is important, coz it shows peridot still has a lot of prejudices despite recently becoming part of the team, which is full of gay people, undeniably.
peridot's redemption arc is partially about coming to terms with your sexuality, retraining your mind from internalized homophobia after being raised in such a homophobic society/household, and becoming proud of your sexuality / identity.
OBSERVE:

i'm going to try to keep this short, but more under the cut.
IM SO BAD at organizing my words so this post is rly hard to make so im gonna do it like this.
MORE EVIDENCE THAT PERIDOT'S REDEMPTION ARC IS COMING TO TERMS WITH BEING GAY / UNLEARNING HOMOPHOBIA:
being frustrated about joining a lesbian/gay gang
coming from a society where homosexuality is forbidden
telling off your mom by saying youre joining some rebel lesbians/gays to fight her oppressive society
wearing pride flags (stars) everywhere after coming out
looking up to experienced lesbians (Garnet)
the scissoring joke (from "too far." if you know you know)
furthermore, i thought it'd be fair to include peridot learning how to respect how people identify in other ways, such as names / how they prefer to be addressed. this, most of the time, goes hand-in-hand with homophobia.
peridot, narrating: "he also said he wanted me to stop calling him "the" steven."
steven: "its just, steven!"
peridot: "i told him i'd call him whatever i want!" [hiss]
peridot: "he told me that was rude."

peridot learns how to respect how people identify. lgbt win
i should add she also eventually learns how to respect Garnet's whole deal in the same episode (log date 7 15 2) which was also a huge moment in her unlearning homophobia. which, btw if you dont know or dont remember, Garnet does by comparing herself to peridot's (assuming) gay ship between Percy and Pierre from Camp Pining Hearts, saying she was the optimized version of herself (the reason peridot "ships" them; theyre the best team logically according to her analysis ship chart)
anyways, now the biggest most obvious point is the fact that peridot actually is gay. i've referred to this episode a few times now, but thats becoz it really is a huge point in proving my 'thesis';
in the episode "too far," peridot is shown to get obsessed with impressing amethyst. peridot experiences something they havent yet up until this point: a crush. i mean, you can interpret it as you wish, but thats how i saw it. the butterflies, the obsession with making someone laugh, the fact peridot states amethyst is objectively the best gem of the crystal gems and emphasizes "damaging her standing with the best gem here" with their apology to amethyst after hurting her feelings.

lets start with personalities and stuff!!
Kris is outgoing and energetic, loving the outdoors and exploring. They dont understand jokes a lot of the time, therefore hating pranks. They love making friends and tries to see the best in everyone.
Berdly is shut-in and quiet, not liking attention to himself. He tutors Noelle whenever he can as Noelles grades are.. not well. When in the dark world he becomes childish, feeling like he is in one of his fantasy books.
Noelle is a bratty and stuck up person, being very confident in herself. Doesnt care much for school, but cares more for material things like jewelry or name brands. When Noelle is hanging out with Susie, she tones down her personality to not scare her away.
Susie is shy, timid, and nervous, trying her best in school and a rule follower. Susie talks a lot when shes very nervous. When shes in the dark world she gains a bit of a confidence.

What are your unpopular opinions on any/all of the BAU women?
(i saw the word unpopular after so i jus gave general opinions shdgsdjdsdk sorry but some of it is prolly unpopular anyway)
jennifer jareau is the apple of my mothafuckin eye fr. the literal love of my life. i am so serious when i say every blonde woman that i have ever found attractive needs to bow down before her (n samantha stephens) n kiss the mothafuckin ring. she is so slept on n i feel like people don't really understand or appreciate the many layers of her. i feel like she's so widely misunderstood. tbh people's takes on her tend to make my eye twitch real bad. as beautiful as she is, i feel like "soft", beautiful looks contribute a lot to her massive mischaracterization. except rosie's; she understands jj, she gets it. but for the most part, i dont feel like people should b allowed to speak on her bcus they're prolly wrong. (also butch jj is the best hc ever, but we all know i feel that way)
i really love emily prentiss, i do. she's intelligent, soulful, goofy in a way that doesn't feel ridiculous or stupid (contrary to a lot of fanon portrayal) but i mostly feel like that about early seasons emily. the more she left n returned, the less it seemed like the writing for her character was true to her n it started to feel bland. i often ask myself in later seasons where her personality went bcus at a some point she jus feels kinda blank n like shes there for fan service. it isn't emily's fault tho; it's all the writers. i love emily tho. also i hc her as bisexual now bcus idk i feel like u would have to swing from multiple vines to participate in sin to win; i can see her being w women n men equally as far as sex goes but being more likely to fall in love w women but sometimes she'll fall in love w a man n b like, well shit... ok n rockin w it but yes, shes a bi babe. i have also concluded that homegirl has a type n jj would b the exception to her rule/type bcus emily is def robert deniro (iyyk). anyway....
no one is allowed to hate elle greenaway, alright? as much as i do love gideon, everything that went wrong elle is his n hotch's fault n i mean that wholeheartedly. anyway, she was a cool as a fan w ice in it, bruh. i b missing her so much. also, i was proud of her when she shot that serial rapist; he was never gon stop offending. she did the right thing.
jordan todd was such a sweet, sensitive baby but she was functional n driven n i like that. she's also flirty. i like that too. idk man. i loved her so much, and ya know, i really loved her for really highlighting all the work jj does and reminding them all to like really appreciate her. she was a great temp; i hope she's happy somewhere. also i will never not scream about this but HER AND EMILY PRENTISS GOT NASTY n i would like to see it (:
i didn't enjoy ashley seaver or her arc. contrary to popular belief, it isn't bcus she replaced jj. it's bcus shes the only team member they've ever had that was there without any actual professional merit. girl wasnt even finished w the academy, and i, for one, did not enjoy watching what was essentially an internship. also she was boring so.
i like penelope garcia a lot; she's fun n she's sweet. i would like to write for her more but i find it difficult bcus she doesn't feel like a real person to me. which is like not to say i haven't met people like her bcus i have but whenever i do, it's kinda jarring n i always feel like i jus hallucinated. also my view of emotions is... yeah. so, there are times where she's kinda paralyzed w emotions that grind me a bit bcus idk i kinda feel like if ur emotions aren't servicing u in that moment then u needa jus suck it up n deal w them later, u not getting nowhere if u crying to much to function n then u still have this problem; so suck it up n deal w the problem n cry later n she has to b reminded of that often which again grinds me a bit but thats a me thing. i dont hold that against PG but it's jus sumn that we are not compatible on n that's fine. also i love love love love love love her n her dynamic w morgan ofc but some of the nicknames she calls him makes me personally uncomfortable as a black person but i mean hey... also, evolution was a disgusting disservice to her character n she deserves to b happy n at peace w her life away from the bau; she coulda came back without getting sucked back into a job that was messing her up mentally. she deserves better
i don't really have an opinion of kate callahan. i don't like her. i don't dislike her. i simply did not connect to her at all; also s10 wasn't a strong season fr so that ain't even really her fault. i do like that scene w her n my jocks on the plane tho. i like jennifer love hewitt tho (maddie buckley is that bitch fr). she b cool in stuff.
alex blake, my beloved fr; she calms me. i love that. i really really really loved her on the team; i loved how that version of the team functioned so much. it's one of, if not my favorite version of the team. she is the best (later seasons) replacement character hands down. god, i loved everything about her. literally everything about her. i fr don't have any notes, 11/10 fr. i miss her terribly. i would also let her do unspeakable things to my body so long as she talks me thru it n i know she would. anyway, i hope she's happy teaching n living her life <3
okay don't jump me but like the v worst thing any show could do to me w any character is introduce them w terrible hair. it's shallow as fuck, i will admit that but if that's how i first meet them? baby! i will never get over it, i will never unsee it n it will impact my ability to consume that character moving forward. that to say n i do hate to say it but tara lewis is a character who has fallen victim to this. they shoulda never introduced her in that fuckass wig. it pisses me off jus thinkin about it n she was in it for a while so as shallow n terrible as it is, it affected my connection to her. but it is what it is, im not apologizing for it. also, she has the horrific misfortune of being introduced in the late late late seasons when for the most part they wasn't even trying in the writers room fr, which sucks. bcus im gonna b particularly honest here, i dont feel a thing for her or luke. i like matt bcus i watched beyond borders n bcus i mentally connect him to jj as her male tethered. i also, so sorry, don't care that she's queer; i don't like how that whole thing was written. it didn't do shit for me at all. really, in conclusion, tara lewis is a victim to criminal minds writing team n costume department. so justice for tara!! but no yea she not my homie or nothin like that; i don't hate her tho.

So like when I was in junior year i was on this school trip for a competition that the entire team had to thank me for even qualifying us. Anyways the teacher who for some reason had personal beef with me and just went out of his way to bully me, he told everyone ok ur not allowed to eat at anywhere that we have on the island.
Me, with dietary restrictions for literal health reasons of which he knew about assumed that like as long as I tried my best i’d be fine.
Proceed to read the dumbest injustice that ever happened to me in highschool. Its so insane its funny I promise.
So like day one after the first day of the competition we’re released into a food court and told that we cannot go anywhere else in the mall. Only the food court. So legitimately the only possible thing I could eat there was tacobell. And anyways the teacher lets me purchase the food, lets me get to the table, waits for everyone else to come back and then he stands up to proceed to SCREAM at me. Like full mad saying I am disrespecting him by disrespecting his rules and that is dangerous because that means I’ll break all other rules.
He threatened to send me home….? Like hello?? Imagine pissing urself over tacobell. So like I legit hid my sad ass burrito in my bag because i was worried he was gonna make me toss it.
Later that night in the hotel the other girls and I conspired to order pizza and pick it up in the lobby. We ordered pizza and were like so far getting away with our crime. But!!! Later like at midnight the teacher fucking opens our room unannounced with no warning like wtf what if someone was idk naked or something but anyways he sees the pizza box and he makes a big show of crumpling it with his shoes and fucking gets in my face while im literally in bed to tell me im on thin ice and i was all mad so i took the full blame and said yeah i ate that entire pizza wtf are u gonna do? make me go throw it up?
So END of the competition (i was the ONLY person to take home 3 awards, one other kid got an honorable mention but I in single challenges got fuckin 3, the team itself as a group got nothing.) we were gonna go to like a six flags rip off. I already knew there was pretty much gonna be nothing i could eat there so I packed like a buncha granola bars in my bag. The park had pretty clear on their website that any food of any kind is allowed in. This was also reinforced by one of the other children watchers who told us all that food is ok.
So at the fucking place in the van, mr asshole turns and stares me dead in the eyes for like 30 whole seconds and says all fuckin dangerously. “Dump ur bag” and im like wtf? and hes like “Empty your bag RIGHT NOW.”
So i literally dump it upside down and shake it, and he like picks up a granola bar and is like are you TRYING to be insufferable??? do you WANT to get us kicked out of the park? (The other lady isnt in this van) And like other kids are defending me saying that the other teacher said its ok or saying like she probably cant eat anything in the park. Mr asshole, takes like a handful of the contents of my purse and stomps to a garbage can and throws literally everything away. I had to go and like pick out lip balm and a necklace I had in there.
And guess fucking what. Other kids had food in their bags. The park checks your bag and any food that other people had was NOT thrown away or even mentioned. Mr asshole said NOTHING to me like no sorry no nothing.
So! Guess what! There WAS nothing I could eat!!! At the place!!! Like I guess chips and frenchfries but like I legit dont eat that..? Nor did I wanna spend like $16 for frenchfries. I hadnt eaten breakfast because we went back to the same food court, I hadnt had dinner last night because the team went out and I was to stay in the hotel as a punishment. I got EXTREMELY light headed, and had to go to the places like idk medical area. Mr asshole had to come with me.
He immediately was telling the person giving me water and an icepack and shit that i’m stubborn and difficult and this is all my fault. The person asks me like whens the last time ive eaten, and I say like yesterday morning and the person offers me a voucher for park food and!!! !!! and!!!!! A fucking granola bar!!!!! Like I wouldve had if this fuckin dickhole hadnt thrown mine away!!!
For the rest of the day I wasnt allowed to ride any rides I just had to sit and wait for everyone. I literally have never gotten over being mad about this. I hope this man dies. I hope he gets literally flattened by a big truck like in a cartoon.
Even worse, he took my awards from me and put it under his desk in the team’s like workroom and said I didnt deserve them because of my poor attitude and everything I pulled during the trip. I had to convince another teacher to go get them for me! And even then he like took the ribbons off my awards and who knows what he did with em.

I am clawing my way here out of a grave because 🍄 anon said wag!seb (which! by the way! hello hello welcome AND youre so big brained) and i hath awoketh and now yall get to suffer the consequences
So i was ALSO thinking wag!seb (surprise 🙄) but with a non-driver seb? So like you've been together for quite some time but you know he doesnt like the spotlight so you dont try to drag him to the paddock and generally try to keep things as private as possible. You dont mind in the slightest, truly, plus it means when you're home you can completely forget about your work and just exist in this airtight bubble with seb and listen to him rumble on about fixing one of the beehives or the new sort of tomatoes your neighbours are trying to breed.
Except, you think—i mean, you wouldnt trade your bubble, or seb, for that matter, for anything, but sometimes—sometimes—it just looks like it wouldve been nice to have him there for a race once in a while, you know? Because you look at other drivers rushing to their partners after a session or coming to the track together or waiting around by the car to drive them back to the hotel and. It's not—bad, or anything, it's just, you spend so much time on the road, away from home, and of course facetime exists but still.
It just gets lonely, sometimes.
The thing is, seb is not blind, either; he might miss the first time your face gets all full of longing when you tell him about valtteri and tiffany, might rule it out as a coincidence the second time when you show him the pictures alex and lilly asked you to take of them, but he is not an idiot. He doesn't want to impose and waits for you to bring it up—it's your workplace, after all, he is not about to just invite himself over—but you never do, so eventually he gives up and asks you if you maybe might let him come to a race?
Which leads to an awkward conversation consisting mostly of "are you sure?—are you sure?—i thought you didn't want—i thought you didnt want to—" but you figure it out and you're honestly so relieved because you were due for another triple-header and to have seb come to a race would be such a treat.
And then the reality starts to think in for seb and he just gets so adorably anxious? He is meeting your team! Your mechanics! Theyre your home away from home! He just wants them to like him so much, because youre the best and they know youre the best and he just, he wants to prove he measures up. Get the Seal of Approval as your partner.
He doesn't listen to any of your assurances that he will be fine, that you're sure everyone will love him. He bullies the oven in the apartment you rent for the race week into baking his braided bread perfectly. He tries on four different shirts and eventually gives up and makes you choose the one he wears. You dont think you've seen him like this since he met your parents.
(It goes very well, of course, everyone absolutely loves him, he is a bit tired and overwhelmed but seems to be having a good time. You're both very happy it worked out.)
(He starts going to races after that; not a lot of them, but he tries to at least hit the triple headers so you dont have to stay apart for so long. He keeps making braided bread for your side of the garage; it's a big hit)

Right ok, firstly we all need to praise 🍄 anon for bringing 🍋 back!!!!!! We've all been trying to use smoke signals to attract 🍋 anon out of their cave but 🍄 just fucking lit the beacons of Gondor.
Seb is really just living his best cottage core life? You have a wholeass cottage in the forest with some animals and vegetable gardens and seb manages the whole place. You have your own little bubble every time you come home, away from cameras and prying eyes.
You aren't an F1 driver at home. You're just seb's helper and partner and you love it so much.
Just gonna go on about your time at home for a little bit: Seb gets so much joy from showing you all the things he does at home while you're away? And you just spend entire afternoons curled up together in the sun, feeding the animals and watering the plants and having sex on a picnic blanket outside.
And Seb loves that you respect his desire for privacy enough to never expect him to come to races or to try post him on social media.
Speaking of social media, everyone is so beyond confused about your personal life. Because like, sometimes you'll post pictures of home grown tomatoes and alpaca's on your insta stories and sometimes you'll post cute pictures sitting in the grass surrounded by pets but they have no idea what you do on your time off? You just drop off the face of the earth when it is isn't a race weekend and sometimes post a random vegetable with no explanation.
They all think you're single, by the way.
Which is hilarious because you couldn't be less single.
But you can't deny that you miss seb sometimes. It's not that you want to show him off, because you know and understand that will never be for him. But you see other drivers having their partners sitting in their garages and cheering for them and hugging them when a race goes wrong and you just... you want that? You want to have seb there to support you sometimes.
Because absolutely no one supports you like seb.
Coming home to homemade banana bread on the counter and your dogs sprinting to say hello and seb shouting from the bathroom that he's getting the bath ready and has the wine poured is the best thing in the world.
Seb starts to see that too.
And I think the moment he decided he had to ask if you wanted him there was when he was watching a quali session (He never misses any races or qualis or FPs by the way), and you crashed? And then when you were back in the garage, the camera showed you sitting alone, staring into space and seb's heart broke because there was no one there to hug and comfort you?
Then he realised that's his job. He should be there.
Except seb doesnt actually think that you'd instantly agree and then tell you that you never asked because you were sure he didn't want it??
Of course he's terrified.
And honestly it's not the cameras and public that he's scared of. He really couldn't care less what the public think of him or how many people take pictures of him.
What he's terrified about is meeting your team? Because you literally see them more than you see your family. In many ways, they are your family. He knows that if they dont like him then you will struggle so much to bring him to races and to see him as a support person.
And he wouldn't be able to stand that, because the whole reason why he wants to go is because you do so much for him and he desperately wants to be there for you.
So of course he doesnt listen to your reassurances. He knows you love him, but what about the mechanics? The engineers? The media personal?
Obviously he must solve this problem by baking bread. Bread solves all problems.
He's actually overwhelmed by how much the team loves him? The entire team would die for him the moment he arrives and seems to know absolutely everything about him because you're always talking about him.
So yeah it's a little overwhelming but honestly it's all worth it when he can give you a hug the moment you step out the car. And then maybe you get a podium? And of course the whole team pushes him to the front of the barrier for the podium celebrations and he gets a hug and a kiss in front of everyone!!!
He still doesnt attend too many races, because honestly he's made to be your cottage core husband and not to be in front of cameras too much. But he cherishes each and every time he goes with you.
And he ends up with an unofficial rule that every time you're away for more than 2 weeks, he comes to visit. Even if he doesnt attend a race, he'll just fly in and say hello and give you a kiss and some homemade granola.

I know the womens world cup specifically is a biiig deal considering how prodigious lots of the womens football/soccer teams are (especially the us.) The preview for EP5 confuses me a bit because based on the band aids it is not in chronological order, but maybe there is a reason why they chose to show it this way.
The first picture is the first scene of the preview.
In the preview Ayan doesnt clarify what he exactly means with “that” but I assume hes trying to tell Akk that he thinks he isnt the best fit for prefect, the obedient upholder of the school rules (probably especially after learning more about Akks background). Now even tho this scene is, i assume, gonna happen after the fight (which is shown later on in the preview) I think they might have put it as the first scene in the preview to kind of make a reference to who Akk is/was at the very beginning of the series or at least the role he was and still kinda is playing (= Prefect, Upholder of the rules).
The second pic is the last scene of the preview.
Once again Ayan doesnt clarify what exactly he means with “this” but I think it’s his way of saying that he thinks Akk is more fit joining his team and fighing against the rules and authority alongside him. Its the last scene because its in reference to the “version” we will get of Akk in the end of the series (= REBEL Akk lets gooo).
Sorry i feel like i talked way too much about something rather small and insignificant. It doesnt really tell us anything we dont know will happen anyway but yeah i just thought it was interesting why these scenes were shown like that. Maybe it was intentionally placed like that even if it doesnt tell us anything new.

omg this is a super funny story. i had a friend who wanted me to watch it, but i wasnt sure. i mean i wanted to watch it, but i really didnt know how dark/mature it would be and i thought i was too young at the time lol. then i was on discord one day with some friends and they were watching jojo's and it was the episode where wamuu and joseph were fighting and i was SO INTO IT LMAOOOOO. i loved it, but never watched jojo's until a friend BEGGED ME. i started with the manga funny enough and then just finally watched it. fell in love <3

Araki wanted to make Fugo turn against Bruno and the rest of the gang and end up dying, but Araki was really depressed at the time and didn't have the heart to kill of Fugo, so he left him be. Also he wanted Squalo and Tiziano to be married, but his editing team said no because of ruled back then

I love how Pokemon Scarlet/Violet has a rotom camera feature, with a selfie option and filters, even your leading pokemon gets to pose with you! There's so many scenic places in the game just begging to be photographed, like I'm not kidding, the towns have so much attention to detail in them, they look like livable places and it makes you want to explore every little corner of them (which can award you with items). The npcs are...meh, very one dimensional but that's fine, the series has always been more about exploration than dialog.
There's three paths to take in-game but it never pushes you down any of them. You're kinda just left to do whatever, which I love. I've been really taking my time just making picnics with my pokemon complete with cooking, snapping photos, and taking classes at the academy. The picnic thing is super unnecessary but cute, and if I had to add any other unnecessary things to the game it would be a journaling option so I could put my photos in it, keep a scrapbook of my adventure, and make some observational notes about certain places or pokemon. Maybe I can do that on my tablet since my Switch can send photos to it.
One neat thing I found out is that the Switch can send photos to an Instax printer, and yes...I did print out real Polaroids of the photos you see here. They're adorable and the one with my character and Haunter is in my wallet now. Fun fact, Haunter is my favorite pokemon and has been part of my winning teams since Gen 1. They're all named after the original Circe from my copy of Red.
If I had to add anything else I'd love to see:
- The ability to grow berries and herbs in the school campus garden
- Have a rematch with the titans and Team Star bosses
- To be able to decorate your dorm room
- To fish, just like in previous gens
I haven't played through the whole game, I'm barely through the fourth gym - again, just taking my time- so I dont know what sort of other features I'm missing yet. I don't want any spoilers though. I made a huge mistake spoiling PLA for myself and I wish I hadn't, but not with this game. I'm avoiding every spoiler so I can experience it as intended.
Let's see, other things I like so far...
- I caught a Ditto and named it Cici. Im not sorry.
- I'm glad the evil team has real motivations for being the way they are. They're not trying to rule the world, they're just sick of the status quo. I don't support their method but I do support their message. I think they could've handled it differently though. Also their rides are incredible. Pokemon that are super modified semi-trucks! Man I need that in my life! I want a super semi-truck pokemon!
- Nemona kinda gives me bad vibes so far. Maybe my view will change of her as I get further in but for now she reminds me too much of an ex-friend that was super clingy, pushy, and liked invalidating my choices under the guise ' I know what's best for you'. That's why I chose to do the opposite of what she was suggesting. It was my way of saying ' Girl, don't tell me what to do with my life'. This is MY treasure hunt, not yours.
- So far in my play through, I think Arven is a green witch or at least the equivalent of one within that universe. Dude deals with ancient books, mysterious crystals, and magical herbs. He's into alternate medicine and I can totally support that. Also he doesn't boss me around and actually tells me to be careful. Oh and he makes me sandwiches like a sweetheart. I just hope he's not another Volo though, because I swear to Arceus I will drop-kick him into a volcano.
- I'm pretty sure Ms Raifort is a descendant of Professor Laventon and by extension is distantly related to Chairman Rose and Peony( at least in my theory). Laventon's photo is on her wall. I love references like this, builds up on the lore.
- And don't know what people are talking about with glitches, I've played this game since Jan 2nd, and I've yet to run into any glitching, maybe a bit of lag while running around, but yeah, maybe Im lucky? The only noticeable glitch I ran into was when I threw a pokeball at a Tauros above me to start a battle, this warped me from a bottom level of a cliff to the top. Effectively allowing me to skip to an area in the game I wasn't supposed to go to yet.
Sadly this meant a lot of pokemon in that area were higher level than mine and I nearly got wiped out before heading to a pokecenter. But! This did mean I got to use the pokecenter as a save spot that I could come back to when I leveled up. A funny yet helpful glitch.
