fred andrews really watched his son get convicted for murder, get sent to juvie/prison, escape, then run away after being exhonerated, and when mr andrews finally finds him, instead of being like "hey archie let's get you home get you some therapy and work on that martyr complex of yours", decides to drive his teenage son to the canadian border and say "damn it sure would be nice if we could live in the wilderness together, to bad we can't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" even though there's literally no reason he can't go with him and gives archie their dog before DRIVING AWAY AND ACTING AS THOUGH HE NEVER SAW HIS SON.

ok the purist in me wants to haaaaaaaaaate this series for having ghosts innit because the original stories were all about regular detective stuff . but i can't the purist is crossing its arms in the back of my brain and pretending not to be watching, but it is, and it's having fun

i made the mistake of checking the comments on riverdales instagrams post about tabitha and so many people were saying that tabitha brings nothing to the show. i’m sorry, are we talking about the same tabitha tate? the one who saved riverdale twice, once on her own at the last minute? the tabitha tate who gave up everything with the one she had fallen in love with so that he could at least be happy in the new reality and went on to work out how she could save riverdale again by herself for however long it would take? what makes me so sad is that i know if tabitha had come to riverdale and had just helped jughead get back with betty and went on to date reggie everyone would love her and worship her. literally what happened with jopaz is just happening with tabitha and people don’t like her and find her a worthless character because she dated jughead and he’s happy with someone who helped heal him and get over someone who broke his heart. but whatever. let’s imagine a riverdale without tabitha. do you see it? yeah everyone’s dead and season 7 is the sweet hereafter. what a season to go out on without tabitha. percival also would have taken riverdale over so like. shut up.

as a lesbian whos a big riverdale fan i would like to say that i hope you are having a good time! its a wild journey of a show for sure

im 6 episodes in and i am quite enjoying it i think i will like it more when the weird time travel/superpowers/multiverse stuff starts happening but i do want to stress i am enjoying season 1 like a lot more than i was expecting

do i think of season 7 as "real?" well no not really. do i think of uncle frank's fate in particular as one thousand percent absolutely real and what i have committed to my worldview? well yes most certainly. also archie the musical forever and ever
