i actually dont think there's anything funnier than people watching a show or whatever bc they heard it allegedly had gay people in it then getting upset when it includes incredibly normal genre specific tropes that they personally dont like, like maybe you should have checked that before you watched it king and then they get mad at the show for being the show that it is instead of embracing it for what it is. like I'm so sorry that axe murderer 30000 had axe murderers in it and didnt have a happy ending and was really violent but i do think there are some context clues around it that could have let you pick up on that

Here's another Game Changer pitch that I came up with. Simply put, the name of the game would be "Just have fun."
It'll feature Brennan and two other chill players (I'm thinking Zac or Ally) and Sam would hand them random toys and games to play with. The player who has the most fun wins a point for that round...but they won't know that going in. Sam will just give them the toy and game and leave it up to interpretation of what won them that point. And Brennan, the hyper-competitive person that he is, will likely over-analyze every round, trying and failing to figure out what the goal is. "Is it to be the best? Is it another fucked up game where you have to lose? No, that can't be, because Zac was in the lead last time. Then what IS it?"
Meanwhile the other chill players are effortlessly winning by just having a good time. It'd also be an extra twist to the knife if he actually wins a few points accidentally because he let himself have fun for a minute and overthinks what he did differently in that round and trying too hard to replicate the same outcome while Zac and Ally, at this point, likely figured it out or don't care enough because they're both just having a good time.
And it'd be REALLY fucked up if Sam begins each round by "sarcastically" going "Have fun."

people tend to be like "lol this guy is sooo in denial" if a straight person has sex with someone of the same gender, but actually. they really might not be.
people can have sex with others without being attracted to them, and they just want to have fun having sex.
or hell, they could just have the occasional exception of gay attraction, but its rare enough that theyd find it inaccurate/misleading to tell others theyre bi (and dont have interests in microlabels). them going on a dating site and saying theyre bi would expand the dating pool to a lot more people they would just have no interest in.
or, they may be bisexual but heteromantic, and when looking for relationships, they want to persue both romance and sex, so theyll just use straight to make it easier.
sexuality labels are used different from person to person, some use it to describe action, others use it to describe attraction, or a mix, or otherwise, or even use it just as a "close enough" to get whatever they want about themselves across to others simply.
i know "straight man who has sex with a man" and "straight woman who has sex with a woman" may initially come across as contradictory, or that theyre bi or gay in denial, but identities and their applications/uses are more complex than just a few set labels.
and i think we should trust what a stranger decides to identify themselves as, they know themselves better than others would. you can talk it over with them if you suspect they truly ARE in denial, but if they dont want to or still end up saying theyre straight, just accept it and move on.
and of course, this also applies to gay men who have sex with a woman or lesbians who have sex with a man. its not just "internalized biphobia" as the answer every time, and saying that its always that is very assumptive of people you dont even know.
other peoples lives and experiences can always be different than youd expect, and may even not make sense to you, but its THEIR life and identity to define. you can give them advice, but you cant force it on them, and certainly cant say what their identity TRULY is. only the person themselves can have a say in that.

"Mirkwood would judge Legolas so hard for Gimli-" Wrong. Gimly has consistently charmed the pants off every single elf he's come across. The elves of Lothlorien went from wanting to kick him out to loving him in like 2 days. He's Galadriel's special little guy. My man is out there singlehandedly tearing down centuries of prejudice because he's just so damn charming. When he was nearing the end, he didn't even go to Durin's halls - he just went with Legolas to the undying lands so he could hang out with elves for the rest of time. Gimli would have Thranduil and the rest of the elves of Mirkwood wrapped around his dwarven finger in a week's time. Ideal son in law except for the beard.

Everyone talks about how shitty the Killing Eve ending is, which, it is, but nobody talks about how fucking tragic Pam's and Konstantin's stories are.
Poor bub just wanted to be somebody and was groomed into an assassin but the moment her mentor, Konstantin, found out that her groomer, Helene, was dead, he wanted to run away with her and finally make things right with the vulnerable girl under his wing and give her a normal life. Konstantin has already fucked up with the many girls he's trained, and his own daughter, who is snatched up by the very same organisation.
He doesn't tell Pam about Helene and she kills him because she doesn't want a life on the run, but regrets it the moment she finds out and it always makes me fucking bawl my eyes out.
