A character i designed in class today, got the assignment to make a character and for some reason i was thinking about bells I realized while making her that she'd actually fit into my oc world pretty well and add some really interesting stuff

Have not come up with a name for her yet unsurprisingly, so lets just call her Bell Goat(sheep? cow?) Grandma for now

Also heres the sketches from when i was trying to come up with ideas, first i drew the bells in the corner, then the person in the top right, and then the sketch i ended up refining

A new ref for Lemmy, and an official design and introduction of Limmy in This Universe Has Lemons In It! Limmy was created by the Guardian of the Lemonverse (any pronouns) as an attempt to stop Lemmy from what they are doing, which is creating portals to travel through various universes and dimensions to have fun. Not only is that a risk for the balance of the universe, but GotL just dislikes this kid having fun and wants to see them stopped.

Not wanting to do it in it's own hands, it created Limmy, an angel dog meant to be an direct opposite to Lemmy. Limmy, however, doesn't do much to stop Lemmy, other than following them and bickering. Their relationship is very Tom and Jerry rivalry-esk.

(Names color coded for myself to read easier due to the similar names!)

Fun fact, Limmy was originally going to be based on limes (Lime Angel), but I kept that concept for GotL - and made them more angel-like instead.

what is sneakers the valiant crusader cats origin story? how did he get his powers?

Before becoming the Crusader Cat, Sneakers grew up a stray; living in the streets of Gotham City his whole life with his mother, Pillow (his father, Buck, went missing not long after Sneakers' birth. He's presumably dead). Life as a stray cat was very difficult for many reasons. Food was scarce, the humans they often meet are violent thugs and gang members who see animals as nothing more than pests, and of course they are exposed to diseases and illnesses. Not only that, there are a lot of groups of cats - and other animals, such as dogs - who tend to fight over territory.

Sneakers was extremely close to his mother. Pillow taught him a lot of things, and one of them is to always be kind to others, no matter the circumstances. Sneakers always kept her words in mind throughout his life. But after months of being together, Pillow was captured by humans, leaving an adolescent Sneakers to fend for himself.

Despite losing his mother, Sneakers kept positive and hopeful - after all, that was probably what Pillow would want for him. As he grew and grew, he started garnering a reputation by constantly helping the other strays, even other animals at some point.

One of the strays that Sneakers had helped in the past was an old cat named Mangrove. Mangrove was a local tom who Sneakers often assisted by hunting him prey and grooming him - they even consider each other as friends due to how frequent their meetings are. Unbeknownst to Sneakers however, Mangrove was unlike any other critters.

Mangrove is actually a pet, belonging to a mysterious sorceress who lives in an abandoned apartment deep in Crime Alley. Despite his "pet status", he prefers staying outside to observe everything that happens in the city. With this, he notices the heroic acts of Sneakers and how much he impacted others' lives. (the images above depicts Sneakers saving orphaned kittens from a hawk, Sneakers nurturing an elderly cat, and Sneakers managing to stop a leak in a wall by gathering sand bags the humans had abandoned with the help of other strays - thus stopping a flood)

One day, Mangrove stumbles upon a weak Sneakers. He was starving, and with the infection on his leg there was no way he could possibly stay alive any longer. Sneakers had spent his days getting food for others and putting his needs aside.

Mangrove believed that this fate is unjust for such a selfless cat, and so Mangrove carries Sneakers back to his master's place. With her magic, the sorceress understands everything that Mangrove is telling her. She agrees that this shouldn't be the end for Sneakers.

She revives him, and not only that, she gifts him special abilities that will assist Sneakers so he could pursue more heroic deeds. Sneakers was sent back to the streets, and that was the last time Sneakers ever saw Mangrove.

And thus he became the cat that he is now! a courageous tom who will risk life and limb for the weak and vulnerable. It took Sneakers a while to figure out his new set of powers, but he has since gotten the hang of it. Humans call him the Crusader Cat, but the animals know that he is truly Sneakers.

--------- and that's his story! sorry if there's any grammar mistakes, English isn't my first language. Sneakers' story is still a work in progress, but at the moment I'm very happy with his origin. I'm planning on writing backstories for his family, especially with all his kits. Again, feel free to ask more things about him in the ask box! (btw i am aware of how ugly the sketches are. got inspired by this prompt by @gingerly-writing and now i've got a new favorite duo to think about (and draw eheh)

nothing like some supervillain/journalist writing

The sun was barely staring to rise, people were beginning to leave their homes for work, and Clement Thyme found himself power walking down the pathways to his workplace. He had a deadline to make and if he didn't get there early, he wouldn't be able to rush to finish the article before everyone else got there. He hadn't exactly slept or eaten anything, but he'd find time for that later! Maybe... Probably not.

There was just a shortcut through here, and...

"Hello there, dear."

Clement skidded to a halt and took a few steps back. Shit. Of course they'd be here. He took a deep breath and let out a sigh. Maybe he could get them to leave so he could continue on with his day.

"Please, please, leave me alone." It was a back alley and too late at night to gel with the journalist's rocky 6am start. The single streetlamp in the area spotlit the city's most dangerous supervillain, Alvah. Inconveniently, there was no one else here to help him get out of this situation. Great. Just great.

"Now, why would I do that?" Alvah was already closer to Clement than he wanted them to be, and they were circling around him like a hawk.

"It's early. I'm too tired for this. I know you never slip up on anything that might even slightly count as a scoop, but it stopped being a thrill to see you six months ago," he bluntly responded, "I don't know who the big main hero is under the mask, where she lives, who her family is, or anything about her. It's all just theories and speculation by everyone else that I'm asked to write down for the blog."

"But everything you write is so... Detailed," Alvah commented. They practically towered over him, and the way they were eyeballing him was making him more nervous by the second. "I'd say you're quite the little detective for someone who simply writes down "theories and speculation" for the news."

"Okay. Fine. I do look further into the details, but they're still just theories," he sighed and dragged a hand through his unwashed hair, wincing at the amount of grease that was trapped in it, "Look– if you're here to kidnap me, could you at least knock me out? I'd hopefully have reasonable grounds to miss my deadline that way. Could actually get some rest for once."

Alvah stepped away, looking surprisingly mortified. At least, if it was actually genuine. It was always hard to tell. "I didn't realize you weren't enjoying these little games. My apologies, dear. It's hard to remember that people aren't pawns when the whole world looks like one big chess game." They paused, then held out a hand with an apologetic smile. "Please, allow me to kidnap you to a comfortable bed so you can sleep in peace. As recompense."

Despite his exhaustion, Clement raised an eyebrow. Usually supervillains didn't care much about bystanders and innocents. Or really anyone that wasn't their ally. Not without some sort of ulterior motive. "Alright. What's the catch?"

Alvah's apologetic smile turned into a mischevious grin. "Oh, I do love when the humans know they're being manipulated. Makes it all the more interesting."

"It's not that hard to figure ou– Wait..." Clement stopped to think about what they had just said. "... "humans?" What does... Are you not–"

The journalist let out a yelp of surprise as he was swept off his feet and into Alvah's arms without so much as a single response to his query. Great. He really was being kidnapped this time. No heroes around to scare them off from doing so either!

"What? No knocking me out with magic powder or a solid hit?"

"I'd never lay a hand on you, dear," the supervillain purred, "Afterall, you are my favorite little journalist."

"Your... Favorite?" Clement's face turned red. He always assumed they just wanted information from him with how often they'd bother him... That would still be the case, right?

Alvah chuckled, which caused the journalist to try and cover his face with his jacket. This was not going how he expected it would have. If his coworkers ever found out, he'd never hear the end of it.

Hopefully this was good enough of a reason to miss his deadline...

Scrimbly Jacqueline 9/52: Jacquie's term as Jack Frost in the Santa Clauses.

Yeah, you heard me right! I am stepping my toes into the series with my beloved blorbos. ME! WHO HAS NOT STOPPED COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW BAD THE SERIES IS!

RIGHT SO. YEAH! AFTER TWO SEASONS OF JUST THE WORST WRITING AND NONE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND BONES BUT NO MEAT, I HAVE FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW EXACTLY CS WOULD WORK IN A TSCS UNIVERSE bc, imo, there's no way these two are from the same universe. NO way.

Right, so here's what's going on with Jack and the Frosts in tscs, and why Jacquie is ROCKING this fit. I will try to be succinct:

Jack thaws, changes, reunites with the fam, blah blah blah. Santa's very untrusting and this does not change, and I think maybe the events of CS happen the same way but Santa is a HUGE DICK the ENTIRE TIME.

Blah, blah, Pyros happens, yadda yadda, things go on and Santa just keeps getting worse--refuses to see that Jack has changed, starts saying boomer-esque things in Council meetings, to the point where every Council member can't stand him--and Jack gets the brunt of it

He complains to the fam. Winter and Blaise are like, we do NOT fuck with this Santa guy. Jacqueline is ready to throw down the more Jack tells her about things he says/does at meetings

She's like "Jack. Jack. Please. Let me at him. PLEASE."

Jack's like "We'll file that away for later."

Finally Jack has HAD it, he is too cute and pretty and has worked far too hard for this ABUSE to be levelled at him at the hands of Santa Claus. He's worth it! He knows when to take care of HIMSELF. This is a TOXIC WORK ENVIRONMENT and he will NOT be having ANY MORE OF IT

He steps tf down, Jacqueline takes over, and she is FERAL. She's WORSE than Jack. She makes things a NIGHTMARE for Santa. I have a whole THING planned for how s2 goes with her in Jack's place >:3

And THAT is what's going on here! Jacqueline has stepped up and is ready to THROW DOWN WITH SANTA who is wholly, wholly unprepared

OUTFIT BACKGROUND TIME!

The vest IS JACK'S! She steals it from him! (Santa thinks the vest works the way the Santa jacket does. Jacqueline does not correct him. In fact, she spins a terrifying tall tale of how she killed her predecessor for the spot and took the vest off his slushy, dead, body. Jack thinks it's gd hilarious. Santa is fear.jpeg)

Her hair is still snowy but with more blue and is POOFIER. It is constantly tangled/windswept. POOF BABY.

Speaking of poof: apparently it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for Jacqueline to NOT wear poofy sleeves. Idk why. SO! Poof sleeve dress shirt! I used to have one just like it and I MISS it, it was so elegant~

Skirt is FIT AND FLARE BABY! Or skater skirt style. She thought of bringing back the pencil skirt and went "fuck that", she needs to MOVE and GROOVE

BIKE SHORTS! I am so sorry everyone who has done Jacquie art for this lil fact I'm about to drop on you all: she wears BIKE SHORTS under her dresses and skirts ALL THE TIME. Stops chafing and if she does a flip she's not worried about flashing people, and they are way more comfy than LEGGINGS. Cold doesn't bug her, anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(She is also prone to overheating easily. Summer sprite blood, everyone expects; I think she's just got too much energy all the time and it keeps her warm)

I did not draw them BUT with this cool work casual ish fit, she still wears her worn grimy leather boots. She's truly the messiest icon.

GREAT friends with the rest of the Claus fam btw; but NOT Scott. And the more she hears from his fam, the angrier she gets lol

AH I am SO EXCITED to unleash this design on y'all. I have been thinking about tscs!cs NON STOP this month! NON STOP! Also, February appears to be the month of FASHION JACQUELINE scrimbles, lol

I tried a lil something different with the hair! Did the messy lines in a light blue then went over it with my very light blue almost white watercolour marker. I like it!

Jack's vest is SO low cut tbh, WILDIN. Very excited when I saw that I DID have a metallic silver prismacolour pencil crayon! It looks GREAT on the VEST and it SHOWED UP IN THE PHOTO! I DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD! :D

Very proud of her hands!! And the way the watercolours worked on her glowy magic hand was AMAZING. I cackled the entire time I coloured this post lining it >:)

Anyway that's all the ramblies for this scrimbly for now. I have a bunch of other silly doods for this lil au? ??? ??? of sorts??? I uh, I prepped for this scrimbly unintentionally. Just started doodling the scenes in my head from this version of cs, so there's some funny lil scrimbles coming your way, eh. Thursday? We'll see! I have one more I NEED to draw out then I will be at peace.

Or I'm a big ol' liar and I will 100% write this whole thing and wake up 100k words later very confused.

Anyway, take the non-edited scrimble! I have yet to find a bright enough place in my house OR at work to take a decent photo of art without shadow or fucky lighting. Ah well. Maybe one day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
