we’ve all talked about songs Eddie would listen to but what about our girlie Chrissy! I feel like she’d obviously listen to the usual girly 80s music (idk why people feel the need to make it seem like she’d listen to music like Eddie, like let my girl be girly) and songs from older decades.

like Madonna and Cyndi Lauper is obvious, and I feel like she’d love to jam to songs like Love is a Battlefield, Straight Up by Paula Abdul (its SOOOO good), Two of Hearts, Call Me, Touch Me by Samantha Fox, Cheri Cheri Lady, etc. And I feel like Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks would be favorites of her c: like Edge of Seventeen is literally perfect

and this is a bit specific but I feel like the song I just Died in Your Arms is kind of perfect for setting a scene for her getting ready for prom and her date is Jason, but she’s just thinking about Eddie the whole time. Idk how else to explain it but I hope you get what I’m trying to say lol 😭 It’s such a cheesy and romantic 80s song about pining, which is what Eddssy is all about yk 🙏 It just feels like its a song she’d listen to on repeat while pining for Eddie

Oh, and 100% agree that Chrissy, while supporting Eddie's music and probably liking a few of the songs and bands he exposes her to, is still a mainstream song listener at heart. I mean, her favourite song is 'Uptown Girl' by Billy Joel, and as much as I love how Eddie and Chrissy would change each other as people once they grow closer, I don't think total erasure of their individuality is a good thing, and I think Eddie is just so extreme with music that it's something Chrissy would find more endearing than relatable, if that makes sense?
