ok taking good photos is actually really easy all you need is a relatively recent smartphone camera and a primitive knowledge of editing. all of those pics i edited right inside the iphone photos app. after that it’s a matter of getting a sense of composition and lighting which is gonna be different for everyone. BUT more important than all of that is just. developing your general awareness of the space and light and motion around you. like a tiny ladybug on a flower or the way the light hits those flower petals or the shape of that road or a candid moment between some friends. if you’re not paying attention you miss it - 90% of visual art is learning to see. once you have that the pictures follow naturally !!

It's like 11:31 pm right now for me, but as I'm trying to sleep I thought of a small headcanon for the blake + Stagg siblings

(This actually happened with me and my little sister a few days ago)

But what if gwen and griffin subconsciously follow Finney around like little ducklings and sometimes act the same way as him, (ex: making the same face to a certain event, like finding something gross or something awesome)

Another example would be doing the same actions as finney like how they would whistle like Finney as they do chores or something.

(I got this randome idea because the other day I had my two youngest siblings follow me around like ducklings and I thought "hey what if gwen and Griffin do that!")

But back to the headcannon! I think Gwen and Griff both do this either intentionally or subconsciously, Gwen copies a lot of Finns mannerisms and quirks meanwhile Griffin will watch Finn and be like “hey that’s cool!” And start doing it. This is very endearing to Finn and a little funny, because he’ll catch them doing it sometimes and just say “what are you doing!” To see them jump and turn red because he saw them.

Overall I love this headcannon and I drew a doodle of that one meme from into the spiderverse because I didn’t have any motivation to draw anything else!

as someone who's gone through my archive already, you know i started out as a bts fan account in 2015. (my previous blog is not gonna be discussed for the simple reason that it's barely relevant to this one)

i believe i used to tag and organise my reblogs? there was a time where i cared enough and i loved srolling through my own blog, i stopped enjoying that when i became more involved w/ fandom on here and things weren't aesthetics based anymore. i don't like going through it that much now. i used to play around with themes, search for them, tweak colours and fonts for hours. after i returned years later there was an issue with the editor so now i can't change my theme at all and it sucks cause i just want to edit a few things.

so it started of as a bts fanblog, then i started rb-ing other kpop stuff, maybe afterwards i started sharing gifsets from movies and series i liked? as for fandom, i had a good amount of mutuals - accidentally became one with a girl from my country, we went out once and it was very nice <3 procrastinated and lost track fo tag games back then too lmaoo i felt a lot of dissatisfaction over it so i try to do everything now with my current fandom :)

back then is when i started reading fanfiction - i believe my first imagine was a taegi one where v was an artist and yoongi a photographer lol i stumbled upon it on the dash randomly and i got introduced to ao3 a bit after

iirc for the following years after i'd stopped stanning bts, i used to come back either relatively often or once in a blue moon - in the beginning i was just enjoying wtv my dash was offering me or seeking out specific stuff, then i started using it as a tracklist of what shows i've watched haha, no tags, just rb after finishing a show.

i started engaging with fandom around the release of episode 5 of kinnporsche, i read a bunch of posts on here, then tms2 came around and i got even more into reading people's takes..at some point i started talking to people i guess hahah i don't even know when i started trying to put out content, so to say, i just know i was doing screenshot posts short before i found myself pushed to attempt gifs and that was after big dragon had just finished airing.

then i started my giffing journey. had support from @gillianthecat whom i loved giffing paulnice for. honestly that and the discussions we had were such an important part of me having fun with this site and keeping it up. and @joyladagang, my self-proclaimed #1 hype woman, made me feel super welcome. then i got even more moots, at some point i started reaching out or actively reciprocating others attempts at getting closer (though i had been active in discussions before that, i just mean i got a bit braver and started acting more familiar with everyone (esp w/ ppl i got closer to through @joyladagang like @cankersoregirl, @feralmuskyscentedhoepran, @loserlesbianongsa etc.)

i'm grateful to a lot of people on here, truly. it's not supposed to be a shoutout post so i won't be tagging any more people (esp since i would have to tag everyone who follows me plus a bunch of people i follow which..it's a bit much) but i'm genuinely thankful for each person that enjoys my rants, gifs, theories or wtv the things i post classify as, whether they found a post by accident or follow the blog. and i'm grateful to the creators i follow, and i'm happy to talk to so many sweet, smart and funny individuals on various topics daily.

so this is where my blog is at right now - trying to do a bit of everything and talking a bit with everyone. my issue, tbh, is i'm trying a bit too hard to satisfy everyone which sounds ridiculous but i am a bit of a people pleaser at times so it checks out lol

HSMTMTS mean so much to me. And if I remember correctly, episode 5 was the first episode released after I started watching (we watched the first four in one night lol). Seblos were one of the first queer couples I'd seen in a show I watched. HSMTMTS is pretty much the best and most accurate show out there for theatre kids. And it has so many queer characters lol. Not to mention, of course, amazing music.

It just means so much to me, and I miss them all so much <3.

It's actually her who notices him first- by the time he becomes aware of her presence, she's already looking at him, though Sigma doesn't know for how long she's been doing so. He feels strangely self-conscious under her gaze, but forces his voice to remain steady as he speaks.

I love your defense of Kristina! Like one thing that drives me crazy is how people frame that fact that she’s dismissive of willie and Simon’s relationship in season 1 but i don’t think it’s that unreasonable! Like idk as someone in their mid twenties when I think of teenagers in relationships I doubt most will be together forever. I think it’s reasonable for kristina to question if her sons relationship of a few weeks is worth outing himself when he might regret it later. As the audience we’re obviously rooting for willie and Simon but her advise of denying his involvement in the video in season 1 is to protect her son while he’s already gone through so much. Could she be more understanding? Yes, but she isn’t abusive like a lot of fics make her out to be. Like she’s a realistic mother. She loves her son but doesn’t understand what’s going on in his life completely.

like. it is reasonable to me that she would do whatever she could to cover it up because yes it's traumatic that it happened and covering it up won't get rid of that trauma at all, which im sure she knows, but it will help shield her son from more harm and trauma around it. and no, she wasn't really thinking about Simon or how he couldn't get out of it, but she doesn't know Simon, and Simon isn't her son. her top priority in this is protecting her kid.

and i love your point so much about her doubt in their relationship. we have to keep in mind that while we see Simon and Wilhelm falling in love and we see how much they care about each other, Kristina doesn't. for her, this is completely out of left field!! she didn't know about Simon at all before this!! she knows nothing other than what we can assume that the royal court found out for her, and we can assume that Wilhelm probably didn't tell her much more. i'm only 20, so i am barely not a teen myself, but i know that a lot of teen relationships don't last.

it's not unreasonable for her to have her doubts, and as bad as it sounds, her doubts about Simon specifically bc of his upbringing and her doubts in Wilhelm's ability to realize the possibilities that Simon is only with him for status aren't crazy. they would be a natural conclusion considering she doesn't know Simon. she has no reason to believe that it's anything other than simple infatuation or worst-case gold-digging.

she definitely could have been more understanding. for sure. she could have listened to Wilhelm, put more trust in his words when he told her he wanted to be with Simon. but it's not strange or crazy or evil of her to have not. we praise the show for how they portray teenagers!! let's not start to shit on it for portraying how adults react to teenagers too.
