Behold! This absolutely incredible drawing of me as a Pokemon gym leader, drawn by my wonderful and incredibly talented friend Fen @salt-and-bramble 💙💙💙

I love it so much as a work of art and as a drawing of me and I'm using it as my profile picture everywhere now.

Fen did a wonderful job of - capturing lots of details that match up with things I actually wear (the heart gems I put on my forehead, my favorite top with the boob window, the galaxy print on my favorite dresses, the color of the glowy wheels on my skates), while also adding so many delightful little things that spark so much delight in my soul (the heart-shaped pupils, a much fancier design on my gloves than I currently have, the poi-pokeballs, a lil bit of embellishment on the cleavage) and. the hair.

Gods, the hair. Y'all have to understand - I've legit never seen a picture or depiction of my hair I've loved anywhere close to how much I love this. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my hair over my life, and despite historically really hating it, lately I've been figuring out ways to get it in a state where I can appreciate it myself, which has been a slow and strange process. But when I first saw this drawing, I felt like I understood for the first time what people are seeing, when they look at my hair and tell me it's beautiful. (When I told Fen this, they said I have the curls of the ocean... ;-; this has stuck in my head, and I think of it when I look at my avatar or my hair.) And the action lines in the rest of the piece really enhance the wave vibes...

Some trans stuff

Last night I was drinking with my mom. We were talking about my art and personal projects to come in the future. She was looking up some stuff about me and saw that I have he/him pronouns now. I already told her in the past about who I am, but I thought she forgot. She would constantly misgender me or use my deadname, even when we were alone. So I assumed she just forgot or didn't take it too seriously.

We talked for a bit and I said,"well... People might get confused when you call me 'your daughter' and then they see me for real." Then she said,"You can correct me on that! Sometimes I forget. Don't hesitate to correct me, okay?"

I was not expecting that. I really wasn't. Last night was when she called me her son for the first time and I cried (happily). I brought up the top surgery thing and explained all of my feelings since childhood. She said that we'll see what we can do and how to go about it. I might make a doctor's appointment soon. My insurance doesn't cover gender affirming healthcare. So I've been doing commissions to raise money.

But I might start a thing for people to donate so I can afford my top surgery a little faster. I'm nervous about that, but it's very important to me.

All of the people I've approached about this in my private life, are people I trust. And they all support me... It's very relieving. The others... I wouldn't tell them a single thing even if I grow a beard heheh ^^"

i hope you don’t mind me sending this ask, but i saw you talking about louies insulting and saying horrible shit about louis for “supporting an abuser” and not signing the palestine letter. i went on twitter and it’s really bad. i’d expect it from la/rries who clearly only love ha/rry and see louis as nothing but an attachment to him, but louies??? solo louies??? his own fans??? i don’t know, as much as i may not agree with some of his actions/opinions i would never think of speaking about him in that way. it’s like these people aren’t even his fans. i may want him to speak up about the ongoing genocide, but as you said, in a sincere way, but the industry is run by zionists so i get why he can’t. as you said, it seems like they think they own louis, when that’s not right at all.

with liam there’s a level of loyalty and he’s just too good (he’s a leo moon through and through). him supporting liam doesn’t surprise me because he does that a lot. also, maya’s book hasn’t even come out yet, so i prefer not to jump into conclusions before it’s out. so yeah, the point is i can’t believe this behavior from his so called fans and it’s really frustrating to see. reminded me why i never go on twitter and why i prefer to stay on my corner of the fandom

My thoughts exactly! Honestly, i'm tired of his fans speaking in this weird and frankly offensive tone about him any chance they got. Like they never miss a beat. Never in my life have i seen a fandom calling out their fav for supporting an "abuser" just bc his bandmate's ex-gf posted about a book she wrote with a few trigger warnings. At least wait until the book is out and you can read it 😬. As far as the speaking on the genocide against Palestinians, i said what i think several times no matter how unpopular that opinion might be. Also, not to be that person but i honestly think it's time they stopped with the i'm so disappointed in him tweets every two seconds like sorry but if it means that much to you that he speaks up and it's something that you really can't get over (doubtful bc most of these people were talking for days about the SB and TS and her bf's kiss which btw i never see them calling her out and expressing their disappointement even though she's the biggest star in the world and can actually get away with a pro-Palestine statement and make an impact. Some were even excited and hoping for a zionists Usher and JB performance), just unstan and call it a day. It's not that hard. And i mean this sincerely, if this is a limit for you, just unstan him (and almost every other celebrity on the planet).

my last post died completely again, so i’m remaking it. i was $400 away from my last goal and my bills keep piling up on my credit card.

hi i’m dylan a disabled trans person who is $12,000 in debt. i was (wrongfully) fired for putting in my two weeks a while back, and have only been able to doordash (usually completely booked out, i’m lucky to get 3 hours a week) due to a leg injury and disability.

my current goal is to get under $1,000 balance on my credit card, current balance is at $1,576 and my car payment and insurance (~275 total) is going to go through in a week. so that being said my new goal is $850 just to try and get out of this hole of debt. obviously i am not going to ask for $12k but literally anything helps at the moment. i’m really fucked and all i can do atm is beg until my leg heals in a few weeks (knee sprain).
