I’ve seen aus where Theseus gets excited and I thought runaway Theseus goes to another empire where they have the same power if not more of his and becomes a knight and then the guardian of the royal family which is cool since they see him like a son than a guard and is super devoted to them and even gotten a seal on his back that is basically a seal of loyalty and going against it is really bad but he doesn’t really care (it was probably really painful and probably done with heated iron or some shit since permanent tattoos didn’t really exist-) since it’s proof he is apart of this empire and he loves being a big brother to the princes and princesses and then the empire tried to for an alliance with Theseus’s family and Theseus has to come since he is the guardian and they see him try to take him but this would mean war so they begrudgingly not do anything and Theseus was humbled in training so he’s actually respectful but is like distance respectful and when Wilbur tries to pry when alone he says “Prince Wilbur of the empire I have to stop you from conversing for I am from another empire and have not right to betray my people and my family. So if you would excuse me but I must find my Empress and Emperor.” And he just leaves and if they have to go to a ball then Theseus with stand tall and take anything thrown his way and if he’s told to give his personal opinion of politics than he’ll say “My opinions will stay in my motherland for I do not have one for subjects I have no connection to.” He stays close to the empress since he’s kinda attached to the hip with her and I would guess they gave him a different last name just because

safe, I am feeling a welcome return. today when I was feeling lonely my sister messaged me. i slept seven hours for the first time in a week. I drank chilled water and said goodbye to my family and although I’m out right now I feel like I’m at home. My shoulders ache in a tired and familiar way. This morning I thought about your blog and prayed “lord, wouldn’t it be nice if…” silently to myself. Lo and behold. Thank you. today maybe I’ll have a smoothie. Perhaps I will walk back slowly.

As someone who doesn't understand the basis of Helena/Holmes, could you explain what draws you to them?
It's the fault of my friend /j
Though, the more I think about it, the first time I myself noticed it was when I saw Holmes react the way he does when it comes to Helena (LB2, LB5.2, his Interlude)
(Side note: iirc, in the original JP text of the interlude, I was told that Holmes actually refered to her as 'my beautiful Yelena Blavatsky' rather than 'my dear Yelena', though I'm not sure what I prefer, both of the dialogues are very endearing)
I wouldn't say that these dialogues confirm that it is particularly romantic in any way, but I think it is very clear that he cares for her...🥹 And that their history with each other has shaped his actions in a way to this day. I mean, who thinks of someone else's death while they themselves are dying? Certainly not someone who has little regard for that individual.
His interlude was what really completely drew me to this pairing 🥹
It is kind of inherently tragic in a way, a lot of helehomu artwork and fic tend to circle around this particular scene and I understand why... I like to think in a way it really explains Holmes' actions, his disregard for his own safety in lieu of safeguarding those who depend on him, his friends.
Jekyll comes into this picture in this aspect too. Helena and Jekyll are the walking representation of his failure to protect the people he loved and cared about.
In a way, I think I associate Helehomu and the reveal of their relationship with the fact that Holmes defrosts the way he does over the course of the story and shows his more human side. With the fandom I have always seen people think of him as a narrative device, but this aspect of him kind of anchors him as a character, a person with his own regrets and desires.
Oh! One more thing
I don't know whether you know the details about Traum, so I won't go into detail about it, but at one point Holmes lists the people of Chaldea and Helena as 'his dear and wonderful friends'.
I think the fact that she specifically was included in this list, which otherwise contains exclusively Chaldea members, people he has worked and lived with during the course of the Lostbelts, is pretty significant 🥺
I think it's very sad, how important Holmes and Helena are...and yet there are very few people who read their stories and care. I wish this material wasn't side material locked behind having a limited SSR, because it is clearly important to the plot when Holmes alludes to this in the main story more than once.
I don't want people to feel forced to see them romantically because that is not what is explicit about their writing, what IS explicit is that they have a strong connection with each other....and I wish more people knew that.

Sorry for the random ask but I saw your post about regarding your opinions on the P3 casts personas and you said to share if anyone had any ideas so...I might have an idea as to why metis was given psyche as a persona??
Psyche is supposed to be a representation of the human soul (her name literally meaning both soul and butterfly, something that is often connected to souls symbolically. And also literally becoming the goddess of the soul) and Metis is all of Aigis' repressed emotions basically given form right? And emotions is apart of what makes a soul right? Kinda? So you could argue Metis is Aigis' soul(or at least a part of it) and therefore, she was given psyche since she is a representation of the soul.
Anyways those were just my thoughts, sorry to crash into your asks so randomly

I didn't know that her name meant soul butterfly and that she was the goddess of soul. I think I was too focused on the myth about her and Eros (how she attained godhood I believe) that I didn't think of looking at the name.
You're right about Metis though, I think there might even be a point where they straight up say she is a part of Aigis' soul (been a minute since I played the Answer) and even if they don't say it, they imply it heavily. So yeah her persona being a soul butterfly makes so much sense and also given Aigis has access to the Velvet room and that has heavy butterfly symbolism as well that makes so much sense!
