Lately all I can think of is TFP Optimus being demon bait. Amongst every iteration that I seen with the Matrix, he feels more like a placeholder involving the relic than an actual Champion for Primus. Plus TFP is the only one who doesn't retain any knowledge about his past as Orion Pax.
Placeholders are easier to tempt than champions since they aren't fully protected or warned of the danger. The Matrix of Leadership practically rats him out to anything supernatural when you consider it acts more like a vessel unlike other relics. Optimus is gonna have a mixed time should a demon hone in on him.
I get what you're saying. All the strange and, let's face it, very sus Artifacts are painting a very wild picture.
Personally, while I do believe TFP Optimus is a legitimate Prime, he isn't a fully realized one. It gets weirder with the Canon lore in the Aligned verse that the Matrix was housed with Prima's Star Saber and that Optimus is supposed to be the reincarnation of the mysterious Thirteen. Plus, Metroplex from the games vouched his status as a Prime: "Metroplex heeds the call of the last Prime." (Fall of Cybertron game)
I wonder how come the writers didn't go with the Primal Artifacts being semi-sentient? It would really make sense with the mythos and immense powers, especially since those tools can be only wielded by a Prime. So the building blocks were there. Or, have the ghost of Prima within the Matrix that's controlling new ordained champions, and it's intefering with Thirteen's connections? The Matrix has an established history of reformatting new bearers, so is it a big surprise that they're turned into Prima's thoughts of a prefect guardian? Prima has different Aspects and Domains compared to his youngest brother.
The themes of identity and self-determination are there. I think he internally struggled with it. Is he Orion Pax of Alpha Trion? Optimus Prime of Prima? Are they one and the same mask? Does he remember the Wilds in his dreams? Did he have hopes and plans for reconstruction? At night, does he recounts all the steps that brought him to that point?
But yeah, TFP!Optimus would be a succulent prize for a supernatural entity. The Matrix is both a beacon and lighthouse. To see a mortal God-King or a divine champion drowning in uncertainty would turn the very dangerous or very desperate towards him because a contract could be established.
Weirdly enough, out of all the Autobots, I think Optimus would have the easiest time navigating any potential entities. Orion Pax lived and breathed in doublespeak as an archivist directly sponsored by Alpha Trion himself. He knows the intricate dance to steer between treacherous allies and hostile enemies and how to be very leery of certain agreements. Orion was stuck between impossible contradictions of his status.
Ratchet has had certain privileges afforded by his function and frame. He's comfortable taking over things and saying his piece, especially among the current team. He also has a poor opinion of non-Cybertronian anything. He would either be killed for insolence and disrespect or be ensnared in a dream that gives him his deepest wishes. Arcee, depending on your viewpoint, is either lucky or unlucky, especially since she survives all her partnerships. Even Jack Darby, no matter how careful, has a human lifespan, which is seafoam to a Cybertronian. Something would latch onto her anger and grief. Bulkhead can be a very considerate soul. Some being would be charmed by the mech. Bumblebee is kind, and Smokescreen can be impulsive and so very clever. Traits that are endearing to many entities in old tales.
Optimus would have his hands full should something start sniffing around the base.

The Halo of Primus is made out of the sigils of all of the other primes-- With the only exception being Thirteen’s sigil, which is missing.
I added the names of each Prime here (somewhat poorly in Paint, lmao) because the version of this image on the TF Wiki doesn’t specify which sigil belongs to who, although you’ll notice these sigils are used on the Wiki on any pages that relate to a given Prime.
The reason why Thirteen’s sigil is missing is likely because he requested that all evidence of his existence/identity (prior to his “reincarnation”) should be erased, which Alpha Trion agreed to (although somewhat reluctantly).
Hopefully this is helpful for someone! :)

Megatronus Prime and Prima Abyssal Star designs
They're meant to look alike, but Tronus modifies his body to match modern Transformers
While Primas abdomen is the same texture as the rest of his body (akin to a corset) Megatronus is condensed fire, magma and it radiates heat

AU: An Alternate Original Primes Narrative
Here's a very star-crossed lovers kind of AU mythos for the original Primes, with a MegOp/reincarnation endgame 👀
To summarize, Prima was the first Prime. They were forged by Primus to help Cybertronians topple their Quintesson oppressors.
From there, as other threats or problems arose, Primus forged a Prime to address the issue. One by one, twelve Primes in total were made, each serving a purpose that led Cybertron into it's first golden age. (For example, Solus could forge great weapons to keep the planet safe, Amalgamous could unlock secrets of transformation, etc.) Together they could face any challenge, and by the time the Quintessons attempted to recolonize Cybertron, the Quints were squashed easily.
Eventually, Alpha Trion began to forsee an even greater enemy on the horizon. After bringing this news to Primus, the twelve Primes learned that they would soon face Unicron-- a being as powerful as Primus themself. Armed with that information, each Prime went about preparing for the impending confrontation in their own way.
Prima-- the first Prime, and leader of the twelve-- met with Primus regularly, meditating and seeking guidance. Megatronus-- a warrior as strong as Prima, though significantly more cunning and ruthless-- decided to enlist the help of Alpha Trion's foresight to prepare for the battles ahead. He reasoned that the more he could predict the fight, the better he could ensure a winning outcome.
But one day, Alpha Trion had a shocking revelation: soon they would meet one more Prime! Initially, Megatronus was only interested in what the new Prime would be able to contribute in battle. He went with Alpha Trion to visit Primus and inquired just that, as well as when they might be forged.
But Primus explained that this new Prime already walked among them! In due time, they would become enlightened and answer their higher calling to fulfill their role as the next Prime. However, until then, they lived as any other ordinary Cybertronian citizen. This thirteenth Prime's experience, Primus reasoned, would provide invaluable insight into how the Primes may better serve their subjects.
Peeved that the ever-cryptic Primus did not directly explain when this new Prime might arrive, Megatronus went back to his battle inquiries with Alpha Trion. (He even tried to needle some info out of Prima, who told him just as cryptically "Be patient, Primus has a plan". So forget it.) What use would an average citizen serve in such a grand conflict, anyway?
However, over time, Alpha Trion had less and less to say on the battles, and Megatronus began to suspect the other Prime had exhausted his scope on the conflict. Fair enough-- it would be impossible to know everything, as 'Trion had explained to him when his inquiries first began. Just in case, he would still ask about the future (though not nearly as frequently), and usually he got the same or similar results.
That is, until one day, Alpha Trion mentioned something very unexpected: that the new Prime would bear a spark that resonated with Megatronus' own.
Now, Megatronus had nearly forgotten about the up-and-coming mystery Prime, but he knew what resonance meant. It was synonymous with finding a soulmate, someone meant to be a companion with whom you'd form a close bond. It was... intriguing, to say the least.
Megatronus-- who possessed the same strengths as Prima, but without the direct connection to Primus-- often felt as though he had to prove himself. Each of the other Primes served a unique purpose, meanwhile he felt like an outcast for merely possessing the same abilities as their leader. This made him more ambitious than the rest of the Primes, fighting to prove his worthiness and to find a place by their sides.
But now... according to Alpha Trion's prophecy, this new Prime was to be someone who would stand by his side for a change. Someone who would find him worthy, regardless of his abilities.
Suddenly Megatronus became obsessed with Alpha Trion's foresight again, only this time he wanted to know more about the new Prime. What would they be like? What are their interests? Where are they now? When will they finally meet?
But that last question was troubling to Alpha Trion. See, he had told Megatronus only a portion of the prophecy-- that the new Prime would rise up during the arrival of Unicron-- but he hadn't shared the rest of it...
... Megatronus would not be there to meet this new Prime.
Alpha Trion interpreted this to mean that Megatronus' death would kick off the conflict. Despite knowing he cannot change the futures he predicts, he set about trying to find loopholes. Perhaps it simply meant Megatronus would be off-world, or even in stasis? Perhaps it meant he should try to delay the enlightenment of the new Prime, so that Unicron may never come...
Meanwhile, Megatronus continued to ask questions about the future. He could tell Alpha Trion was getting more and more exhausted, but he was growing impatient. He wanted everything to be perfect for when the new Prime made themselves known; he wanted to know how to navigate conflicts with them, how to cheer them up when it was warranted, how to be the perfect partner to them-- because shouldn't someone who so wonderfully accepted him as he was deserve the perfect partner? It got to the point that he was practically looking forward to the arrival of Unicron, which disturbed the other Primes.
Prima and Solus eventually confronted him, citing Alpha Trion's perpetual exhaustion from using his gift so frequently (though none of them knew Alpha Trion had also been researching ways to prevent Megatronus' demise.) Megatronus contended that they couldn't possibly understand being in his position, and argued that they ought to be thankful for his idea to collaborate with 'Trion so that they might know what to expect in the upcoming battles.
But Prima and Solus clarified that they took issue with Alpha Trion's gift being used for personal gain, for they knew Megatronus had also been looking into the new Prime, and why. That enraged Megatronus, who doubled down on pointing out their privileges-- Prima and Solus had been a blissfully bonded pair for many vorns now, how dare they try to shame him away from his own happiness?!?
Alpha Trion arrived on the scene after learning of the argument taking place at the Citadel. He tried to intervene just as things were heating up, and admitted to also using his power selfishly to try to find a way to preserve Megatronus' life.
A cold rage filled Megatronus once he learned the truth. After all that preparation, he wouldn't be the one charging into battle with a grand plan. He would never write his own legend, or make his own distinct mark among the Primes, aside from dying before their most important fight. He would never meet his match in life, never have his own conjux.
Alpha Trion's voice, babbling about loopholes and waiting, was drowned out. Quick as a klik, Megatronus took aim with his Requiem Blaster and fired without another thought.
His aim was true, hitting Solus Prime squarely in the chest plates. He barely registered the others' horrified reactions, focusing mainly on Prima. His oh-so-perfect counterpart. The leader who had everything-- high status, strength, deep and meaningful relationships, respect-- all from the moment he was forged...
... so why not even the playing field, for once?
From there, Prima launched a vicious attack upon him, while Alpha Trion and others tried to either stop them or provide first aid to Solus. Despite Prima no doubt feeling the pain of their conjux's spark fading, they put up a hell of a fight. Though, if he's being honest, Megatronus wasn't fighting for his life at that point-- he knew now that he was destined to die soon anyway-- rather, he was taking out years of his own pent-up frustrations, grief, and jealousy on his fellow Prime. However this made him callous and uncoordinated, and Prima eventually got the upper hand. Swift as they could, Prima snuffed out Megatronus' spark, and rushed back to Solus' side just in time to witness her last vents.
A funeral was held in the memory of Solus; all of Cybertron mourned her loss, and cursed the name of Megatronus. Megatronus' body was not laid to rest, instead it was launched into space by Prima themself, because they did not want to pay any sort of tribute to the one who had betrayed them so personally.
Eventually Unicron came across the body, resurrecting Megatronus' powerful frame with a fractured mind-- only retaining the hatred, sorrow, and frustration he had felt in his final moments. The shell of Megatronus was instrumental in leading Unicron's legions, wreaking havoc on the universe until they were on a direct course for Cybertron at last.
Not long after Unicron was spotted heading their way, the final Prime ascended to his rightful place-- he was called Optimus Prime. The Primes, now only eleven strong, scrambled to make use of all their preparations, while Optimus tried to find his own footing in all this. He ended up meeting with Alpha Trion often, as he was the studious type, and found a great deal of insight within the notes the other Prime had been taking with Megatronus all those years ago. Wistfully, Alpha Trion remarked that Megatronus would have appreciated being acknowledged for their efforts, as it had been his idea. Optimus asked to have all the notes, and Alpha Trion let him. ("I'm not of much use otherwise," he said, "Unlike most of the others I'm not a warrior, and my gift refuses to see beyond a certain point. It would seem all of our futures hinge on the outcome of this conflict. Good luck, Optimus Prime. 'Till all are one.")
Optimus pored through the notes, coming to understand Megatronus' battle tactics along the way. He also uncovered the tragic prophecy, which foretold their sparks would have resonated. It made his own spark ache-- torn between the facts of Megatronus' brutal betrayal towards his fellow Primes, yet Optimus longed to have known his spark, to see who he was for himself and to have known what that connection might have felt like.
Even armed with their knowledge and skills, the Primes were still fewer in numbers than they had initially hoped when they had first learned of Unicron. Prima realized they would not be able to defeat Unicron permanently-- in fact, they understood most of them would not survive this conflict-- and resolved to subdue Unicron instead. In one final stand, the warrior Primes banded together, channeling all their sparks' energy into Prima and their Matrix of Leadership-- save for the faintest flicker, which would return to the Allspark-- putting an end to Unicron's rampage and freeing Megatronus' bound spark.
In light of their sacrifices, Primus greeted each of the Primes' sparks warmly once they reached the Allspark, apologizing that things did not go as planned, and offered to grant them each a wish for whenever they are able to reincarnated. Some like Prima and Nexus wished that they would be able to someday know the others as friends in another life, to be able to laugh together, while some like Onyx or Amalgamous wished to retain elements of their gifts as they couldn't imagine a life without them.
Optimus' spark wondered where Megatronus' spark was... was he not welcome? And Primus revealed that they would have welcomed him despite his betrayal, however his spark was tainted when it was called back by Unicron, and thus would be doomed to wander, never allowed to rejoin the Allspark. Optimus' spark resolved that his wish would be to bring Megatronus back into the fold, to allow his spark to be purified and be given the chance to be reborn in a new life.
And Primus asked him, "Would you still wish this, even if it meant your sparks may never encounter each other? Even if I couldn't guarantee he would be happy in the next life?"
"Yes." Optimus' spark replied, full of conviction, "I believe he should be given the chance to find that happiness for himself."
And Primus obliged.
============================
Fast forward many years. Alchemist Prime and Alpha Trion are the only ones who survive the fight with Unicron, but the legends say they perished alongside their fellow Primes that day. They've since gone into hiding, adopting civilian personas, and watching over society with the rise and fall of Prime-pretenders who aren't even close to being shadows of the Thirteen. None can harness the Matrix the way a true Prime could.
Myths about the original Primes arise-- ones that stretch the truth about their respective roles and personalities, tall tales that blend fiction and reality... but mostly fiction. Some claim Prima was Primus themselves, walking among them for a time. Some say Onyx Prime is living on one of the moons exclusively in his beast form. Most will claim Megatronus was evil and in cahoots with Unicron all along, or was once good but seduced into wickedness. One tale even saw Megatronus being possessed by Unicron to kill Prima, but said Solus stepped in to take the blow instead. Alpha Trion is particularly saddened to see Megatronus remembered as The Fallen Prime, a complicated individual eroded into a simplistic abstraction to scare sparklings as they're being tucked into berth. It's what inspires him to work in the Iacon Archives, as he would much rather preserve true histories than to predict what will come to pass (besides, he's still wracked by guilt for what he perceives as his part in Megatronus' downfall). Alchemist opens up Maccadam's, offering a safe place for folks to let loose and be themselves-- because after they faced Unicron, he's come to especially appreciate these precious fleeting moments in the present.
Obviously they don't know about Optimus' wish, so they are independently put-off by the eerie similarities they spot in a certain gladiator rising to fame... because there's no way Megatronus' spark was able to re-enter the Allspark after being wielded by Unicron, right? It would have been corrupted... but what a peculiar coincidence... especially the name he's going by... hmmmm...
Alpha Trion even notices one of his archivists taking a particular interest in the gladiator's speeches... and as you know, the rest is history. 👀

Why do people in the Transformers fandom keep making Prima an asshole?
It's something I've been noticing a lot recently. Why, exactly? (Not calling out anyone, just a legitimate question.)

At some point I decided to create my own universe instead of following the aligned continuity, so I’d have more control and understanding of the history and lore of the story. So here’s the creation of Primus and Unicron, along with the thirteen Primes. I’m still doing the whole rewrite thing, it’ll just be in my own universe. A
———————————————————————————
Before Time
In the Beginning there was just one, a singular being surrounded by the vastness of nothingness. While around it was nothing, this being could hear the whispers of others. Then it watched as the dark nothingness began to sparkle with stars all around it, stars followed by planets and nebula’s. The being could feel the pull of black holes as gravity was created. The being felt as the slow yet infinite tick of time began. This singular being heard as the others, the first, cheered with creation. They sang with success and unity.
The being simply listened, sitting silently in its vod that was untouched. It wondered if it was supposed to create as well. With this new found curiosity the being learned to move. It learned to create, turning its void into a star system. It shouted and sang with glee, listening as the others responded with their own proud songs.
Eventually the songs stopped, and the being could hear and feel as the others died off with new ones to take their place. The being knew that it was time to do the same.
As its time neared, the being used its own body to create. Its heart became the sun that centered its galaxy. Its body split apart, becoming the planets that surrounded its heart. Its many optics became the moons that would watch over these worlds. Then its soul split into two beings. These two would come to be known as Primus and Unicron. They were brothers, yet as they stood upon the chest of the first being, they would fight. The two fought and fought, neither seeing optic to optic. Their battle lasted for millions of vorns, equal in power, they slowly chipped away at each other.
As they fought, Primus observed all around them. Somehow seeing as other gods began creating their own life, populating their own worlds. Eventually this led the god to an idea, though it needed time to be able to carry out this idea. So the god talked with its sibling, and both agreed for a rest.
So with this chance of rest, Primus hid away into the heart of the world. There the god began to create life of its own, forming twelve beings, twelve demigods that will become the future of this world. These twelve were the first sparklings of Primus.
War of the Gods
The first of Primus’s children was Prima. The Demi-god of hope and light, Prima took most after its creator, becoming the Knight of good.
The second child was Vector. Demi-god of time, Vector would be a key figure in the fight against its Pibling. With its abilities, it could see the future and predict the best actions to take in the battle.
The third was Alpha Trion. This was the records keeper of the Demi-gods, one that would ensure that all the knowledge that its sibling would gain, would not be lost to time.
The fourth child of Primus was Solus. Solus was the Demi-goddess of creation, different from their siblings. This Demi-goddess would go to create all of its siblings' weapons, with the hammer it forged from its creator's armor.
The fifth child was micronus. This small Demi-god was able to merge with its siblings and enhance their powers. Not only would the Demi-god help within the battle, but it insured its sibling, Solus, could create the most powerful of weapons.
The sixth child was Alchemist. The Demi-god was given the ability to see the world in a different manner, This Demi-god had such a deep understanding how things worked and what things were made of, it helped its sibling, Solus, in the creation of many artifacts.
The seventh child of Primus was Nexus. The Demi-god had a special ability that allowed if to split itself apart, and with that it was given great control over its body and functions.
The eighth child was Onyx. The Demi-god of beasts was wildly different compared to its siblings in form and in mind. It had a deep understanding of life around it, even claiming it could feel the presence of the first.
The Ninth was Amalgamous. This was the Demi-god of forms, having even greater control over its body compared to Nexus. It was often seen changing its form, sometimes looking like a pile of scraps.
The tenth child was Quintis. This was the Demi-god of life, known to be the first scientist. This Demi-god had a great curiosity, and at some point it slipped away to go test its powers on another world.
The eleventh was Liege Maximo. This Demi-god of mischief had a similar curiosity to Quintis, though it was more curious about its Pibling. It had a silver tongue with a toxic body, it preferred chaos setting it apart from its siblings.
The twelfth child of Primus was Megatronus. Opposite of its oldest sibling, this Demi-god was pessimistic, grounding its siblings, and was known to be the knight of the dark. Though it still worked well with Prima, as the two were the main fighters of the twelve.
With support from its twelve children, Primus stood against its opposite once more. The other god had noted how much weaker its sibling was, and believed that it finally had the upper hand. Unfortunately for the dark god, this was not the case. As once it had its sibling struck down, the twelve attacked.
Vector, Alpha Trion, Alchemist, Quintis, and liege Maximo, were the strategists of the group. Prima, Solus, Nexus, Onyx, Amalgamous, and Megatronus were the muscles. Micronus had a special role, as it merged with its siblings and supported them in the fight. With this combination of strategy and strength, the twelve with their creator managed to strike down their Pibling.
Unfortunately Gods are immortal, meaning they couldn't kill Unicron. So they forced the dark god into a deep stasis, one that it will hopefully never wake from. The twelve let their Pibling’s body float into the stars, hoping that they'd never meet the dark god again.
With the battle won, Primus could finally rest. The god knew that its children would miss its presence, so before it fell into a deep stasis itself, it created one more. One more Demi-god, the last of its children.
This thirteenth child of Primus was a warrior like Prima and Megatronus. The Demi-god had a silver tongue like Liege Maximo, curiosity like Quintis. Was jovial in nature like Amalagmous, though took no one's scrap like Nexus. The Thirteenth had a deep understanding about life like Onyx, interested in creation like Solus, yet scholarly like Alpha Trion. Was caring like Alchemist, supportive like Micronus, yet new when to take care of itself like Vector. Yet, it was its own bot, the heart of this family.
With the last of its children created, Primus returned to the core of the planet. There the God would become the heart of the world, one that would eventually support life on Cybertron.

OMG YIPPY OPEN REQUEST!!! Hello, how are ya doing!!! I was wondering if I could ask/request for a cybertronian! Reader with four arms and they're like ancient cybertronian that was king/queen of the battlefield during war very VERY eons ago like when the first prime was made (prima) and they sooner became too overpowering and too strong with their power so they sealed up reader until they were unsealed by Megatron (Tfp/transformer prime) but reader switched teams and teamed up with the Autobots!! I hope this isn't too much...😭🙏🙏 I was wondering if you could make it as a scenario or one shot? Idk up to you because my mind is FILLED with ideas for your inbox👍
HELLO! I'm doing good thanks for asking!! OF COURSE YOU COULD!! THIS WAS INTERESTING TO WRITE
Prompt: ancient cybertronian!reader whos overpowered, sealed and was released by Megatron to join the Decepticons but joined Autobots instead
Warnings: no warnings, im using [y/n] in here
Notes: i made the reader being sealed somewhere on cybertron since they exist during the first prime, i hope you dont mind!! Anyways hope you enjoy this :D this is also a bit long geez-
Megatron made his way towards Cybertron again but not to revive an undead army. He was there to release someone from the time of the first prime, someone whos an overpowered warrior before being sealed. Soundwave had decoded a relic that tells them of this bot who was sealed due to being too overpowered, and Megatron has full intentions to make that bot join the Decepticon cause. Ironically none of them had ever heard of this bot until now, he basically has the upper hand if this bot decided to join the cause.
As Megatron arrived to place, he could see how old yet sturdy the seal was. He began to forcefully open the seal before finding out there lays a bot with four arms, a frame almost as big as Predaking. He slowly approached the figure, circling around them as he return to his original position. The bot's servos twitched as they slowly opened their optics before said optics was suddenly blown wide in shock. They quickly sat up and looked around before their gaze lands on Megatron. With optics filled with confusion, they began asking him some questions. "Where am I? What time is it? And more importantly, who are you?" They asked as they narrowed their optics, eons of slumber has rendered their sight a bit blurry.
"My designation is Megatron, the one who has freed you from this wretched seal. You are still in Cybertron, although it has gone dark here. What is your designation, great warrior?" Megatron asked. "I Thank you, Megatron. My designation is [y/n], and what do you mean by Cybertron went dark?" They questioned as they slowly stood up to their full height, towering over him by a bit. "During your slumber, there was war that a faction of bots has started, they are called the Autobots. So we made another faction, the Decepticons, to go against them and defend Cybertron. But because of the Autobot's reckless act, Cybertron is no more. Now the only surviving bots are refuging on Earth." He explained. [y/n] got suspicious, due to the fact theres the word 'deception' in their faction.
"If you are good, why are you called 'Decepticons'?" They asked. "It is because they wanted to villainize us, but instead we wear it like a badge of honor. We won't let that label bring us down. Now, I would like to ask you a favor as the leader of the Decepticons." Megatron said, slowly walking towards them as he stoped right in front of them. [y/n] blinked as they debated with themself before deciding to agree to hear about the favor first. "You will join our cause to defeat the Autobots, in return you will be well cared for in the Decepticons. You are an excellent warrior after all." He offered. They only silently ponder as they weight their choices. They dont have anyone else that they know of here, the only 'safer option' is to accept it. "I accept this offer." They said as they offer their servos for a handshake as the deal was made.
It already has been a few earth months after that day, they still remember it clearly. Months of observation has given them enough detail that they are at the wrong side of the war. Now they sat on their birth, looking at their Decepticon insignia as [y/n] creates a plan. A plan that will hopefully change their life for the better, they planned to somehow switch sides to be an Autobot. They planned to sneak during night time where the halls of the nemesis was not too crowded before making their way towards the flight deck, unfortunately this will be a bit difficult due to the fact that their 4 arms stood out.
Night has fallen on Earth and now they're executing their plan. Avoiding any vehicons and cameras in the hallway, they successfully arrived at the flight deck. Thankfully their alt-mode takes flight so they could escape easily. Now they had land somewhere deserted in Nevada, hoping that their signal would attract the autobots here. Fortunately it did, as Optimus himself along with Bumblebee and Bulkhead. "I would like to ask you a favor, prime. I would like to move to your faction as i've seen enough misdeeds done by the Decepticons." [y/n] said. Optimus was ready to accept when a few beeps from Bumblebee, assuming it was beeps of protest, made Optimus paused for awhile. After a bit more convincing to both the Autobots and the leader himself, they got accepted. Now they only need to worry if the others would willingly accept them right after they defect from the Decepticons.

Did a little traditional thing. Turned out much better than previous attempts to do anything in traditional 😅. Paper is so unforgiving (i still had to play with brightness in Photoshop cuz i wanted it to look a little better ;-;)
I drew it with some cheap paints i found in my grandma's drawer. Don't really know what these paints are. Something between gouache and aquarelle, but....grainy???
Anyway
Prima, the first prime.
I thought making them look lethargic is the best option for such a jerk.
You're being an ass, you're getting a fixed mouth that can't stretch and barely moves. Have fun looking like Minecraft creeper. All the time.

1. When you say TFA bots discovering multiple matrices, what exactly did you have in mind?
2. Role reversal megop YES
But most importantly: holy shit I love the idea of Prima possessing Optimus! The gods have been watching in silence for millions near billions of years, and they are completely fed up with their mortals creations' bs. When Prima sees his brother on the verge of death with the tainted Matrix, he finally decides that enough is enough.
When "Optimus" returns, he's very clearly not himself. Where he was gentle, reserved, and emotionless, Prima is incredibly strict, haughty, and full of righteous, thunderous anger. The God of Order and Divine Judgement has every intention to clean up the mortals mess, and he'll be as heavy handed as he pleases. He cares for cybertronians as a species, not so much as individuals. Each of the individuals on earth are deeply flawed and rife with putrid sin, and he'll cleanse and correct every single one of them without mercy
Tbh this has been playing on repeat in my mind ever since I first read it. I can already hear his judgements and punishments for a few of them! But we'll first go with Megatron, because now that Optimus has been dealt with, he's at the top of the list.
He beholds Megatron with intense disdain and disappointment: "You've fallen so far from grace, you've forgotten everything you originally fought for! Where is the freedom you promised? Where is the fairness, where is the justice? You dared to seek solace in Unicron, and for that you shall lose all that you've worked for!"
The punishment he gives Megatron is rather sinister: he peels away all of his progress, takes away everything that makes him who he is today. He erases all of his gladiator experience, turns back time on his body and reinstates the way he was when he was still just Disposable #16. He warps and winds back his personality, putting him back into the mindset of that softspoken, hopeful little poet who used to dream of a free utopia, while still leaving him all of his memories of all the atrocities he's committed, how many lives he's snuffed and how many worlds have burned over the course of the fighting. He is once again D-16 in mind, body, and soul, but now haunted by all the horrific things he did and witnessed as Lord Megatron. His suffering will be his penance 😌
I really really really love this AU so please for the love of god let this pick up!!

If I could write the 13 I would have Alchemist and Onyx hate each other. Since Alchemist represents civilization and its expansion and Onyx represents nature and instinct they had very different worldviews and butted heads a lot.
Oh yeah, I can see that. I have the headcanon that the Guiding Hand in TFP is the dominant triad of Prima, Alpha Trion, and Alchemist as they can represent the pillars of society: law, religion, and science. Plus, they were the ones that remained behind after the war that killed or scattered them.
Personally, I view Alchemist as one of the moderates of the Thirteen as he has a flawless mastery of chemistry since he's the original alchemist. He has a deep understanding of the world on a material and spiritual level. "As above, so below." The very metals and composites he worms with come from the world, so he would push for sustainability measures, which Onyx, Megatronus, and Solus will throw their considerable weight into it.
This Onyx would have howling matches with Prima's focus on just the bipedal mortals to the point of destroying the natural world they have created on their Father's, especially after Prima declared that civilization will lie ahead with city-states. Even after Onyx's death in Solus' grave to help power the Well, the conflict will continue as the Predacons and other Wilders will scorn the "Forceful Hand."
Without Megatronus, Onyx, Liege, and Solus and the eventual loss of Amalgamous, Micronus, Quintus, and Nexus to combat the immense influence held by Prima's court, it's no surprise that Cybertron lost so much of its natural state (exacerbated by the Quintesson occupation) as there was no powerful blockade to counter the Eldest's strict, unforgiving rulings.

Saw your thing for writing requests, please just ignore if that's off the table!
Starscream or OP in any universe gets the other to genuinely laugh.
Okay, I think I have the perfect post war idea for that. I’m going to do TFP (it was hard to find which universe but oh well). Actually, you’re lucky because I’m going to also make and IDW version of this prompt because an idea LITERALLY just popped into my head. I’ll tag you in both <3.
Also this fic was so fun to do thank you so much!!
__
Eventually, Starscream knew he’d have to contact Cybertron to let them know that their prized pet had gotten loose.
Most people thought that Optimus had perished when he’d jumped into the Well of Sparks, and in his own exile so did Starscream. He wasn’t too upset at that at all actually, in fact, that was the one thing he could celebrate while on the run from the predacons and the rest of Cybertron in general.
Yet, Prima worked in many ways because living in his humble cave on an energon-filled, yet desolate planet systems away from Cybertron, he did not expect a confused, clueless and very much alive Optimus Prime to find him.
That had happened a month or so ago, and Starscream could not shake him off. Optimus - or Orion - was clearly lost. Starscream had thought to kill him at first, or even send him to bounty hunters for some energon rations or something but…little by little, he had a change of spark. He didn’t know what it was about clueless Optimus that made him less prone to violence or at least want to change his ways.
Truth be told, that answer was simple. Starscream was lonely, and he’d lost everything.
Everywhere he went, people looked upon him with disgust and hatred. Not that he didn’t deserve some of it, but it hurt. Especially when he had, during the conclusion of the war attempted to change and defect from the Decepticon cause. No one believed him, and the Autobots had treated him poorly because of it.
That said, as clueless as Orion Pax (or Optimus) was, he didn’t look at Starscream like he was a monster.
He looked at him like he was a savior and perhaps, one of the most beautiful things he’d ever seen. And that is why Starscream could not bring himself to harm him. He knew eventually Optimus’s memories would return, or that someone would come for him, but until then, he could indulge in the new friend he’d made.
Presently, Starscream found himself sitting against one of the trees outside of their cave. Truth be told, they did not spend that much time in their cave; it was where Starscream hid. However, given they were the only ones on the planet, being outside suited Starscream more. He was used to living in the woods like this, being beneath the trees and in nature. During his self banishment, he’d found himself there before and it was a comforting setting to him.
There was a datapad in his hand, a book downloaded from an Earthling database. As much as he hated to admit it, Starscream loved Earth books and stories.
In the distance there were heavy footsteps heard growing closer and closer. Starscream retained his calm demeanor, as he already knew who the mech was approaching him.
“Starscream,” The voice was soft, yet filled with excitement and curiosity. “I know it’s going to be another cold night, so I found some firewood. I can regulate heat much easier than you can…you on the other hand…”
He stepped in front of Starscream, who was still leaned against the tree. He hadn’t faced him yet.
“Or, you can just sit next to me and warm me. You are a big, loveable hunk of metal, we don’t need fire to stay–”
At that moment, Optimus had fully made it in front Starscream, still holding large tree trunks in his arms. Starscream’s optics made contact with Orion’s yet, his vocalizer paused as he attempted to speak. A breathless noise came from the depths of his audio system that eventually, burst into laughter.
Orion tilted his head in confusion.
“Is something funny, Starscream?” He asked quietly.
“You–your head–our audials!” Starscream stood and practically ran over to him. “Were you rolling in a meadow?” Somehow, some way, when searching for fire wood, Optimus had accumulated a rather large amount of flowers upon his head. He was more than likely pushing through some trees as he did so, and did not even realize that he had grown a sort of crown of flowers.
Orion smiled rather bashfully and inclined slightly as Starscream approached him, messing with the makeshift flower crown on his head. “You are many things Orion Pax, but you manage to get more an every day.” He still chuckled as he spoke. Never in his millions of years did he expect to see Optimus Prime with flowers on his head. Somehow though, it seemed fitting.
“Cute, is that a human term?” Optimus asked, confused.
Starscream chuckled. “Yes…yes it is. Ahh there, now you look better.”
Optimus smiled, dropping the pile of fire wood and taking just a flower or two from his audials and somehow placing them upon Starscream’s head, fashioning them tightly.
“Now Starscream, we both look ‘cute’.” Orion said, gaining more confidence.
Starscream smiled, feeling that familiar rush of energon flush his facial chasms. He hated to admit that after all this time, he started to grow feelings for Orion Pax. Well, maybe it wasn’t such a bad thing.

YIPPEEE TY
okay so uh starting off with context: so the aligned continuity was the attempt to make a connected transformers universe. It was... not that successful, in all honesty, however the lore that it created especially surrounding the Transformers: Prime show (My comfort show!!!) is AWESOME.
Some of the best sources for lore and background information are the three books in the Exodus trilogy. I have them, and the first two are Exodus, and the direct sequel Exiles (im about a third through it currently, i cant read small text for a long time and it's annoying :[ ) and than the third book written by a different person that is more of a prequel to the TFP show itself. The two other books that i dont have are The Covenant of Primus (i can read the pdf though!) and an art book, The Art of Prime.
Starting with background lore (which may be wrong im doing this all off the top of my head) there are two main 'god' characters, the creator god Primus, and the dark chaos death god Unicron. Initially they just woke up (they were one at first) and were kinda there, alone. But soon they developed two sides of themself, and what ended up happening was they got so conflicting that they split into two separate entities.
They fought for EONS UPON EONS. constantly, but since they were the equal yin and yang of a whole entity, they could never best each other. they were perfectly balanced.
One day, Primus decided to impart a fraction of himself into thirteen new entities, who became the Thirteen Primes. Now i forgot the names of most of them but the ones i do remember was the first, Prima, he was like the leader??? Megatronus, Liege Maximo, Solus Prime, Micronus, Alpha Trion, and Thirteen. i forgor the rest :0
but anyways, they each had an ability, and or artifact given to them that corresponded with their personalites. also, iirc, there were like three/four specific Primes who stood out from the rest. Soulus was female, Micronus was a minicon, and another one??? was assumed to be the earliest version of an animal-like cybertronian. these all caused the following cybertronians who were born from the well of allsparks on cybertron to have a 1/13 chance of being one of these special ones. just thought that was cool.
well they all trained most the time to defeat unicron, with Micronus running these simulation things, and Soulus using her forge to create weapons. they all had their own relationships, and Megatronus (WHO IS NOT MEGATRON, MEGS NAMED HIMSELF AFTER HIM) was like an outcast becuase he was more like unicron in a sense, being more angsty and emo or sum idk
well anyways, they all kinda were like sibling, and got along like how housemates would. affectionate but they do hate each other sometimes fr. there was a specific relationship between Megatronus and Solus, because she was the first person to trust him with a weapon and that essentially gain his eternal trust and love for her ever since.
than there was the little brother the mediator (my mbti muehehehehe) Thirteen. Can you guess which prime he was, out of the thirteen?
anyways he was the person who kept them from killing eachother, and was all round a very pleasant person i imagine, very parental and gentle, but assertive and not afraid to confront issues (WINK WINK FORSHADOWING)
well after they trained enough, they finally fought unicron and it's like most epic battles like, reading it from the Covenant of Primus was AWESOME and it was a BOOK. like whoa :0 anyways they managed to throw him into space and make him unconscious somehow and he's out of the picture for a long time.
after this Primus decides to master oogway into a planet, and somehow turns himself into... cybertron. somehow??? and after all the primes kinda ascend into the allspark, thirteen is just 'no, i dont think i will.' and he decides to be reincarnated as a lowly cybertronian.
named orion pax, the fans are 90% sure.
if you know you know and i mean... is it cliched? OH YES IT IS. but is it fun and fanfiction fodder? OH YEAH IT IS.
anywas i'll stop here this is very long i did this all from the top of my head can you tell this is my big biggest special interest yippee i'll keep going later but i love the lore sm yayyy
