I'm super proud of this podcast that I co-host with my friend Kellie called Behind the Tech Scenes.

We talk about tech in a super casual and natural way for us.

What I really like about this podcast is that you don't have to work in tech or even have an interest to work in the field to enjoy it.

We keep it real about our experiences and our views on what's going on in these tech streets.

We're two Black women, a demographic often overlooked in tech and I hope this podcast can help people feel seen and provide some laughs and insights.

AU where Crosshair isnt just the youngest batcher

Noooo hes the youngest clone to ever grace the field period. Like the Kaminoans thought they needed just three experimental clones but later discover they need a fourth and so Crosshair is very quickly, very unsafely, made and aged up so by the time he's in the field man's is like 6 months or smth ridiculous

Hee makes one comment, one "how's it feel to be arguing with a baby" comment while arguing with regs and thats it for him. The GAR goes wild, the buir gene is raging, Crosshair goes from dodging fists to dodging adoptions. His brothers are also dragged into it cause they're also insanely young.

And that is how the GAR ends up knowing of and liking the Bad Batch, they stop thinking of them as assholes and just go "traumatised babiesss"

i put together these words for a particularly negative moment within the fandom, and want to share them here, as my bad batch brainrot continues to deepen. introspection is highly subjective to my interpretation of the characters - i know some better than others. such words were constructed from typing each batcher to a maldaptive schema.

It's a Genesis, It's a Sega CD, It's a Portable CD Player.

Friend of mine in college had one of these, still the coolest-looking game console I've ever seen.

Apparently ( Sega CDX/Multi-Mega | Retro Consoles Wiki | Fandom ) Sega didn’t make many of 'em, like only 5,000 were released in North America (elsewhere in the world they went by the name “Multi-Mega”).

Tell me what you think because I realised this shit as I was falling asleep and I now I can't go unless I get it out there:

Does the colour scheme of the background sort of look like the colour scheme of the houses and buildings on Pabu?

So, theory: Cid didn't sound...normal? the last time she contacted the guys and it's actually because the empire has gotten hold of her to try to bait the bad batch into coming into contact with her again. Well, that didn't work, so Cid suggests contacting Echo alone and tells him about Cross needing help (she knows the group has split) and that checks the "Cid is going to betray them" checkbox. Echo and Rex fall for it, contact the rest of the batch because they are going to need as much help as they can get in infiltrating Tantiss, and head to Pabu to rendezvous. That's where we get the long awaited Echo and Omega reunion. The group head to Tantiss, get Crosshair out, but in the process Omega is captured. They are forced to leave her to save injured/drugged/traumatised/comatose Cross and themselves. We open season 3 on Omega being experimented on or being mistreated to get Nala Se to cooperate.

They move, regarding you with an intense gaze, pushing up off their seat and slinking towards you (you muse, as you watch them, that they're treating you a little bit like a cat would a mouse once it had the prey cornered), moving until they were close enough that you could see the darker flecks in the blue of their iris.

"Are you suggesting we elope, firecracker? How scandalous of you."

They are joking, of course, their lips pulled into a sharp smile as they leaned in close. They smelled of fire and earth, likely the lingering remanence of the day's adventures, and their breath was a warm whisper as they ghosted the shell of your ear.

"Of course, you know I'd drop everything here for you, right this second, if you wanted."
