So from getting inspired by 90s OVA style drawings, I decided to draw Team Umizoomi in the 90s OVA artstyle! Or as I like to call it, what if TUZ was a 90s anime? I'm really proud of how this turned out overall!

I remember I was on the internet at a young age, and when I was 9 and Gravity Falls was at the peak of its popularity, I had a friend, a few years older than me, who shipped Billdip. I never shipped it myself, but I never thought she was a bad person because of it. I lost touch with her because of Google+ dying, but still. See, even kids know that liking XYZ fictional stuff doesn't make you a bad person. "oh but kids don't know any better" Kids are smarter than we give them credit for, especially since its drilled into our heads from a young age that bullying is wrong. Bullying happens a lot due to peer pressure, like how antis feel as though they have to harass people because their little cliques tell them they have to.

(JUST ALSO REMEMBERED THIS AS I WAS SENDING THIS ASK) When I was even younger, I shipped Milli and Bot from the show Team Umizoomi, even though Milli is canonically like 6 and Bot is intended to be her and Geo's guardian. I had a friend who agreed. He never acted mean to me over it. Where does time go? ;-;

Now here’s something I myself came up when I was probably on something questionable…

Team Umizoomi x Bloodstained Ritual of The Night!!!

Here, the titular team are these people called Shardbinders- people who have the ability to harness power from Shards. They’re also afflicted with a curse by Alchemists that crystallizes their very skin but gives them the ability to absorb the crystals from demons that turns into new powers to use as they wish.

Anyways, I made this because I wanted to. Hope you can use my designs in fanart!

Bot- Emerald (I gave him dark skin and heterochromic eyes)

In short, was it worth it? Yes.

Have you seen this childhood show: Team Umizoomi (2010-2015), United States (English)

[Mod A: I never seen the show but I have seen a picture of the characters somewhere, would not have guessed it was a math show! This show is about a team of math superheroes (Team Umizoomi) who use mathematics to solve issues within Umi City. They usually focused on solving the math problems though counting, measuring and pattern/sequence/shape recognition. Each member had a power: Bot the robot has all of the mathematic tools inside him such as a calculator (he can also do video calls to live-action kids), Milli (the pink leader of the team) was able to recognize patterns (she could change the appearance of another person/object to match the pattern) and had the ability to measure objects accurately (by using her ponytails as a measuring tool), and Geo has shape recognition ability through his shape belt (where he can create new shapes to solve the problem), a shape-splitter (sword that can cut things into certain shapes) and shape magnet (that can attach to any shape via grappling hook). The show emphasizes teamwork and learning all math skills equally in order to solve complex problems. Sounds like it would’ve been an effective educational tool!]

Do you think Milli and/or Geo have ever called Bot ‘dad’ in public? If so, how do you think they would’ve reacted?

Tbh I personally think that like 95% of the residents of Umi City, including the villains + Doormouse, would refer to Bot as "your dad" or "your father" when talking to Milli and Geo about him, so I don't think it'd be too surprising when they actually start calling him 'dad'. Maybe they'd be a little embarrassed at first, but they'd probably get over it quickly and default to 'dad' for Bot

1-E main trio Halloween special

I drew this back in 2022 for Halloween, 1/2 Halloween specials for that month (the other being of Decius and Angevin). Halloween 2022 special ft. the 1-E main trio (Nirko, Ikumi, Hideki)

I made them dress up as Team Umizoomi. We got Hideki as Geo (for obvious reasons), Noriko as Milli (for even more obvious reasons), and Ikumi as Bot since she was the last one left.

I remember I was gonna initially make them dress up as Alvin and the Chipmunks and make them wear those creepy mascot costumes, but a friend suggested this instead.
