IOTS AU: Liberation of the Slaughtered

The info on Leshawna, as of right now- is rather simple. After being rescued from the island, she almost immediately sought therapy and counseling for everything she had endured.

She still has occasional nightmares, but is probably the most mentally sound of the 7 that did make it off the island alive.

She regularly keeps in contact with the girls and Duncan, but has yet been able to talk to Cody despite knocking on his literal door twice.

She is more protective of the others now that this all has happened, and will not back down from getting physical if she sees anything as a threat.

She often had dreams of getting an occupation on fashion, design, or even maybe styling hair. Though, after she had to try and re-assimilate back into society. She found some sort of comfort in programming and computers.

In order to commemmerate Harold, she started working with some work friends on a side project- which is a game called "Harry the Ninja Master' (Which the main character is a ginger haired man with glasses and 'sick ninja skills')

Harold's family heard of this- and started keeping in touch with her more- as well as giving her a pair of Harold's old glasses for her to remember him by.

She wears them, just to wear them (though not for too long, as they will mess with her eyesight) and if she isn't wearing them, she usually keeps them folded up in her breast pocket (which is why she chose that shirt in particular for wear).

Her sense of style is more casual, but she does try to still make sure she looks presentable.

so like,,, im on a total drama kick rn and was also bored so I decided to do what I always do and redesign some characters because I love them and I want to dress them up in silly little outfits

today's victims were ofc trent, gwen, and leshawna because their trio is truly spectacular, I only wish they lasted beyond like, a lil bit of the first season and the island special

also also ik the redraw style isn't show accurate, I was originally gonna draw em in the actual style of the show but I got lazy and didn't wanna outline them properly sooooo here are these sketchy messes haha yeah

Her time on the show was not without drama, for she’s made enemies since the first day on set. Her rivalry with the self-proclaimed queen bee was one for the papers. Her time on the first season was, however, cut short by an unfair vote, and, by the third time around, she had fallen out of the public eye almost completely.

Now, she’s a freelance artist… But she hasn’t had much luck these past few years. Since the AI ‘art’ craze, she’s found it less and less easy to sell her pieces, only managing to make a few thousand over the course of more than five years - I wouldn’t know, but I imagine that’s not enough to pay the bills...

She’s back in order to ensure she has enough money to just survive day to day. With the same attitude she’s given us time and time again, her confidence threatens to be the downfall of many…

Get out of your seats for a standing ovation, for it is… Leshawna!

“I’ll be straight with you… If it wasn’t for that money, I would never have considered coming back. When you sent out those emails, I thought you were just talking crazy, but… Then I began seeing the announcements over social media.

“I… don’t want to be back. I’ll tell you that much. But as long as those two million dollars are the prize, and maybe, as long as I can see my friends… I’ll do your crazy show.”

• Harold is flexing his "muscles" and trying to use his "mad surfing skills" as a way to appear cool in front of Leshawna at the beach. Leshawna sees this and simply chuckles, finding her honey bun too cute.

• If Harold spots another guy trying to flirt with his girl, he is not having it! He marches over there and, as a gentleman, asks Leshawna if she would like to hold his hand. When she says yes, the two walk away hand in hand. While the couple are walking, Harold looks back at the jerk who was trying to flirt with Leshawna and gives him a nasty glare.

• I can totally see them being a musical couple who love performing for fun at karaoke bars together! 🎤🎵 We all know after listening to the song “Sisters” that Leshawna can sing her freakin’ butt off and Harold is an expert at rapping and beatboxing!

sometimes I think about the fact that Leshawna canonically never cries and takes pride in that fact, and I’m just picturing her trying her damndest to keep a stiff upper lip the entire time in IOTS, even as everyone is dying around her

no cuz this is so true. especially when harold dies.

mild spoiler: by the time they’re rescued, obviously everybody is traumatised, but there’s three (and maybe four, i’m still deciding) people who have just lost all sense of self and are very, very unstable. and that’s gonna be gut wrenching for leshawna to see.
