OUGH i need to restrain myself) - speaking of flustered, he's really good at keeping his cool (pun fully intended, fight me) and he typically is the one who CAUSES the flustering. smooth af and KNOWS it - he likes to cause chaos and mayhem. a bit of a gremlin. mischievous man. perhaps a tad prankster in his bones. playful teasing bastard and has a lot of fun w/ it. - cold hands. nothing more. - when push comes to shove, Kaeya's the guy w/ the plan. like genuinely he's incredibly strategic and has the main plan, and like two or three back up plans. it's not even like an anxiety thing he just wants to be prepared, and he makes them up pretty last minute. - he's kind of an assassin-style character, y'know? not as much of a main fighter as he is a sneaky backstabber. roguish and charming but can and will yeet u type deal right??? - LOYAL to a GODDAMN FAULT. i TRULY believe this man's loyalty is unshakeable. like he'd do anything to the people he cherishes the most. and if he perceives u as a threat??? a threat to the things he cares about?????? ur on the list now and there's no escape. - incredibly perceptive! like he's really good at getting information from people already, but i feel like that just makes it a lot easier for him to notice when Something Is Up. it's hard to catch him unawares. - kaeya's great and i love him but he doesn't love himself and i'm sorry this man definitely feels like he's got really bad self esteem. What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just from looking at them?

His resilience. Eifra is constantly seen as an easy target, and physically, he's not particularly strong, but he's endured a lot and has the ability to bounce back from just about anything.

What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

His kindness. It's the one thing he's most taken advantage for. He's aware of it, and people constantly warn him, but I don't think even he would choose to be different.

When scared, does your OC fight, flee, freeze or fawn?

All of the above lmao. Depends on the threat. He does naturally frighten easily, but he's also a very seasoned hunter. Even if he's afraid, he has the ability to temper his nerves to withstand a fight, but if he knows it's a fight he'll lose, he'll happily flee.

How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

Eif would never endanger others, but he would put himself through a world of pain if he thought it would help someone he loves. Again, all depends on the context.

How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass?

Not... easily. He would have to be put in a very precarious position, to know it was his only option, or if someone's life depended on it. But he's also not so much of a goodie two shoes that his moral compass is swung so far to one side.

What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

Ah, this is a fun question. I think I mentioned before I actually intended for Eifra's PoV to only exist as an introduction to Zeh's. But instead he became pretty much the defacto protagonist and narrator for the sequel. I didn't expect to love Eifra as much as I did, and I got attached to him, both as a writer, but also through Zehel. In the same way that I fell in love with Yeryn's romance, Zehel and Eifra's relationship *is* the main dynamic of Arcaen'vel. Eifra is Zehel's crux. He's his driving force and he pushes both the plot and Zehel's character development forward. I went in thinking Zehel would be the main character in what I thought was his own story, but Eifra really had another plan (though I'm sure if I explained it that way to him, he'd disagree and hold Zeh's pedestal that much higher lmao). The two share the spotlight in different ways. But if you asked me like three years ago if I thought the successor to Yeryn's line would be some random hybrid kiddo I'd have slapped your face.

Would your OC ostensibly be able to get away with murder?

NO lmfao. Eifra would never just commit murder. But he certainly wouldn't have the braincells to get out of it if he did.

Do you have a specific lyric or quote which you associate with your OC?

Yes! Zehel's theme for Eifra is "A Sky Full of Stars" by Coldplay, and I can literally not listen to this song without thinking of him. "Cuz you get lighter the more it gets dark, I'm gonna give you my heart."

What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?

Tbh, I think Eif would work in any AU, but I'll have to choose the most boring and say I'd love to see him in a modern storyline with Zeh. Just because Eifra adapts so well to our timeline.

What is your OC's weapon of choice? Have they ever actually used it?

Bow and arrow. He can hunt well regardless, but his arrows are also the only way he can channel dragonfire. It's the only defense he has, not having been born with arcane magic.

Is your OC self-destructive? In what ways?

Yes, and no. I think he sometimes gives too much of himself away, but I wouldn't say he's actively tearing himself down. But he'd be willing to let people walk all over him if it'd make them happy and that's not a particularly healthy way to live, either.

If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?

Probably LOL. I mean he's a much MUCH better person than me, but his self-deprecating humor is so relatable. He's a really uplifting person, which is actually the type of person I most enjoy being around, but he does lack the petty shittalk side I require my friendships to have so that I may thrive lmao.

How does your OC want to be seen by other characters?

I don't think he much cares how other perceive him, but I think he'd like his friends to see him as reliable. Someone that can be depended on, even when things get difficult.

Does your OC have a faceclaim? If so, who?

We all know I don't do real human face claims, but I do have an artwork I pinned ages ago that encapsulates his vibes down to his stature and dress style, the only thing off about it is the hair, otherwise really spot on: here.

What is your OC's pain tolerance like?

Surprisingly high. Eifra has been through... shit. And he's conditioned himself for things most people have never had to. He's been forced to survive most of his life, and I think that gives someone a lot of internal strength. He also has an incredibly good hold of his mental. In a situation where he knew he'd have to endure something to save someone, he wouldn't even miss a beat.

Is your OC more cold and detached or up close and personal?

He's very personable, but honestly he understands people wanting space. He gets attached to Zehel so easily because he feels like he owes him his life (he kind of does lmao), so it's a bit of specific situation. Normally, Eifra is the type to only approach if asked, but he'd always be able to reply. He's incredibly charismatic.

How does your OC behave when enraged?

I think Eifra has only been truly angry a handful of times in his life. Only once severe enough to have some physical repercussion. Usually he lets things slide off him, and doesn't get caught up on negative feelings.

Does your OC have a tendency to get jealous? If so, how does this manifest?

Unsurprisingly not at all lmao.

Does your OC have any illnesses or disorders? How do they handle it?

Neither, but I suppose in the context of their world, he's sort of "broken". He's half elf, half dragon, but he was born magicless, and his wings never developed properly. He's also not able to shift into dragonform, which is usually something that gets bred out over many generations. As he's a "first generation" mix, this is exceedingly odd. He's the only known halflyn to have one dragon parent and not be able to shapeshift.

What character alignment would you consider your OC to be?

Lawful/Neutral Good

What emotion is the hardest for your OC to process? How about express?

Desire. Eifra has an incredibly difficult time asking for anything, even if he needs those things to actually survive. He feels embarrassed and burdensome to ask favors of others, and hates to be indebted to them. He constantly sees himself as a weight holding back his friends, and would rather starve than to ask for money for food or anything similar.

What is your favorite thing about your OC?

His tenacity. Eifra is such a hard person to keep down, and even though I find these people really annoying irl, I think in stories, juxtaposed characters like Zeh, they become so much more likeable, and important. I think Eifra has a lot of qualities I gravitate to, but being in Zehel's head for almost four-hundred pages, my love and violent need to throw my life on line to protect Eif at all costs is so deeply engrained in me LOL. Zehel really following in Daddy's footsteps by being the world's second biggest simp, only in his case it exists within a platonic friendship, and honestly, I think it's the most fitting storyline I could have written for him.

hmm well i have posted magneto i think exactly twice, as part of a commission (x) and as part of a gift (x). the gift was done this year so its probably more indicative of how he'd look in my style, but also i think my art has been changing a lot in the last couple of months. i like magneto, but he is not one of the characters infesting my brain and motivating longer projects, so i just draw him more rarely. even in stuff i don't post.

tbh the nation x stuff (as w a lot of stuff post-2000s) is kind of a big blind spot w me. i just kind of bounce off superhero nation stuff i think no matter who's involved. but i do like the bit of stuff i have read concerning magneto and scott.

i think earlier magneto spends a lot of time thinking of scott (and the original five x-men) as like. extensions of xavier. like he cares about his relationship to xavier and his philosophical and political opposition to xavier and anything scott says politically doesn't get filtered through as scott's position so much as xavier's position as stated by a particularly rigid and kind of harsh student. i think this basically bc magneto has a tendency to talk through the other x-men to charles when he's in villain mode, and also bc in my mind stuff like god loves man kills does position scott as an extension of xavier. like. scott's the true believer here. he doesn't doubt, even when charles himself does. the way magneto comes to see scott as his own person with his own political ideas is really cool to me, and i enjoy seeing the like. backing magneto has for scott? it feels like it is founded on this decades long non-relationship of seeing scott and the x-men continue, which is then helped along by a new closer relationship.

ig my thinking on how magneto impacted scott is like...not very much on an interpersonal level, for a long time. like they just didn't actually know each other that well at all, and scott's really into adopting some of xavier's position as pretty like. rigid rules. like scott is more uptight than charles is. i think magneto largely operates not as a person but as an idea for him to orient himself against and also a threat that sometimes tries to kill him/ kill other people/ make scott's day worse in some other way.

i think in general scott is kind of confused by magneto?? on an interpersonal level?? which is part of what makes their later dynamic fun to me. the idea that scott can continue to be confused and frustrated w magneto even as they become much closer and be like oh ok. this isn't an x-men vs magneto thing, you are just kind of annoying and confusing on purpose. he's just kind of like that. i think after you get into utopia and afterward scott clearly comes to value magneto's opinion more, but before that magneto's not even a guy to scott he's just this like. nebulous idea of what scott is against and also scott does not like him.

I think I'd have the best chance of survival with one of my STH inspired fics but that feels like cheating too. STH Techno can do no wrong and I'll always stand by that.

Honestly this with most my fics would probably be hell lmao. While the DSBI I write aren't usually outright aggressive they're more than a little loopy and would just find a reason to off me probably.

AFN and any Four Seasons fic are immediately off the list. Afn Techno might currently be a sweet little angel but I wouldnt wanna meet him after he's finished his change. AFN Phil goes without saying.

Even if I was meeting Techno at the current point in the story I don't think I'd survive since Phil really wouldn't take well to a random stranger talking to his kid. There's also Kristin but she is absolutely horrifying to meet so thats another no from me.

Four seasons would imply the existence of fae and I think I'd disintegrate in an environment like that. Also four seasons Phil is terrible and just sadistic. Believe it or not but he's playing nice with neo trio in those fics. I wouldn't want the chance to ever meet him.

Seeing as I'm working on a fic where ILMG Techno kills a neighbour for being irritating I don't think I'd ever wanna meet him. ILMG Phil and Wil could be fine but they're not fleshed out enough for me to really know.

I think I'd have an alright time in BFOB though. Its just the DSMP modified so I could have a passive chat with Tommy or Phil and that could be alright. Same goes of IDFR, thats a more accurate version of the DSMP and I don't think that'd be too terrible.

ODDO Phil could be nice to meet as well. He was just a sweet, lonely guy that lived by the seaside. He probably had a pretty fun life before that since I like to think he travelled. If this is post-horsing though then I'd have to pass.

ELTY, SGFA and EST are all royalty AU's so I'd have to pass on them as well. While Wil is skrunkly in them, his family is very much not and they totally abuse their power in their respective universes.

That all leaves me with DELG, Henchman and Harbingers to sift through.

Don't Ever Let Go could be fine. Its a superhero AU and talking to Kristin or Phil wouldn't result in immediate death. I brush over it in MBMB but Phil is passively friendly to everyone and people like him pretty decently.

Kristin does go off on a lot of 'work trips' but after acquiring twinsduo that cuts down. She's a villainness but whether its justified or not, I haven't decided yet. Its not as much fun when the narrative is 'the heros are the real bad guys'.

Its more interesting for me when the villains are villains and do bad, unjustifiable things. Makes more complex characters too, at least in my opinion. Either way I think she could be fun to meet but given the fact that they put up the facade of 'very normal boring family' I don't think it'd go anywhere too fun.

Henchman is probably off the table tbh. Techno would instantly try and shank me for money, Wilbur is a rich little asshole and I'd just wanna fight him. Phil could be ok but since his power is 'death upon touch' I'd be playing with fire.

Sure, he's more of a crime boss than steryotypical villain, but I think meeting him would just make him think I'm a cop or something. I don't think he'd believe the 'I'm actually your creator' story.

Harbingers could be fine as well. Phil is just an insane man and neo trio are more of a passive thing than an active threat. I haven't fully fleshed out their personalities yet (besides Phil and Kristin) but I don't think they'd instantly try and murder me.

They're kinda like a physical manifestation of poison, staying around them will just slowly kill you. I haven't worked out exactly how it works but meeting them would have me walking away with various health problems probbaly.

Phil could be fun though. But he is completely delusional and will become violent if you try break what he sees as his reality. That man belongs in a ward but instead he's been adopted back by his eldritch family.

I think in the end I'd go with ODDO Phil since he's a pretty chill dude. Even in the sequel I'm working on, he's much calmer than neo trio when it comes to murder. If it's pre transformation then he'd just share little stories with me and bake me some lamb based dish.

Post transformation would be less friendly but not outright hostile, he'd be more confused about how I knew so much about him than anything. He'd probably just brush it off as some kind of magic stuff though since he's cool like that.

tbh i dont think villain deku is inherently a bad concept but he's been oncelerfied so badly it's kind of difficult to imagine a scenario that doesn't suck total ass.

like, there's practically zero good examples of it and a billion shitty ones - making him evil for the sake of it, arbitrarily replacing his fashion sense (this shouldn't happen basically no matter what - what does his social standing have to do with how he dresses lmao? do you think a life of crime precludes someone to wearing dumbass shirts and garish sneakers? participation in this phenomenon is loser behavior), totally rewriting his childhood, giving him a "villain's quirk", forcing him to be subservient to some shmuck who abducted him, all might denying him heorics/ofa so he becomes a villain out of spite (for some reason - usually because he suddenly develops a hatred of all might, as if he'd ever not worship the ground that man walks on even if he beat deku senseless (and let's be Extra Fucking Clear here that he wouldn't, ever)), he never meets all might so he (insert random previously-mentioned scenario here), et cetera. it's all thoughtless, boring, and trite - taking the path of least resistance in pursuit of an aesthetic, completely disregarding the character's, well, character. it fucking blows. if you want aesthetics without character, go find some brainless png slot machine to appropriate - they'll probably have a design that's more "gremlin-like" or "feral" anyhow, you annoying motherfuckers

what potential does a concept like "villain deku" have then if the existing popular scenarios are dogshit? it's very narrow, to be honest, and it doesn't make sense without some degree of interference in his life during or after the hero course. essentially: he learns of the injustices the hpsc operates on and goes rogue over it, in a manner *maybe* similar to lady nagant, though he wouldn't kill the director (he's got the potential to be faster than a speeding bullet; gunfire doesn't pose an imminent threat on his life).

(to be clear, i think intervening in his character at any point earlier than his entry to UA is fucking with who he is on a fundamental level and is lazy. work with canon even just a little bit for these "canon divergent" scenarios, please - your work and creativity will benefit from it, i promise. and calling it an alternate universe when the only change is making deku a villain is still lazy because it'll fall into one of those shitty cliches i was just bitching about.)

that's the type of thing that could lead him to be classified as a villain - rebellion against the system of power he intended to serve and its violence. he wouldn't just be out killing people or committing violence for fun, though - he has the make of a "beloved vigilante" among the populace; a righteous man of the people who's conscious of the injustices faced by the everyman. a robin hood among heroes, villains, and vigilantes. stain, if he rescued instead of killed. and was more intimidating anyways, somehow (it's the poor hygiene).

he has the drive to strive for justice in a way the people in power don't appreciate - let's not forget how he, alongside iida and todoroki, were treated by the cops after the stain incident; how the school responded to the bakugou rescue squad; how he was scolded for protecting UA from gentle and la brava (even if the incident was comparably mild, and he wasn't scolded for his action so much as his inaction. the point here is that he went against authority, not that he got in deep shit for it). deku doesn't care what the consequences of his actions are as long as (he believes) he's helping/defending someone or something he believes in.

also, like ‐ and pretend we're living in the world where ofa remains intact - he'd never get fucking caught. basically every power in ofa's arsenal is an escape tool. he has multiple distinct speed/mobility amplifiers, cover in the form of smokescreen, can fly, and (most obviously) danger sense. he escaped the cops in whm with just full cowling and blackwhip. he's untouchable with the rest of it.

If she did fight back, they would be like "you want this, you know you do," but I also feel like Billy MAYBE would have stopped if he saw that Y/n was crying and clearly scared of him, but idk about Stu. I feel like Stu is more twisted and he'd be too selfish to stop.

I was surprised at how fast they were moving, but it just goes to show how little of a threat they see Gloria as. Billy and Stu are not scared of Gloria or Wells and that's a problem bc who else is going to make them back off? Y/n basically lied with that "making progress" comment and I'm so happy Gloria is so protective bc she isn't gonna be afraid to call Billy and Stu out and she's the only other strong support system Y/n has. She has a very strong influence on Y/n, and she will be able to convince Y/n that she might not be able to trust them. Billy and Stu are jealous of their relationship, but their so confident that Y/n 'needs them' that Gloria not liking them is an afterthought. I'm so ready for Gloria to give Y/n some advice 😭

also boundaries!! that's such a big thing here! In Stu's "defense "(and i use that word loosely), he doesn't mean to push boundaries like that. Not deep down (at least to y/n, he doesn’t care too much about anyone else lmao) He just gets caught up in the moment and gets excited and is so good at justifying his actions in his head that he starts to believe it. His thoughts are wired that way. In my opinion, the only thing that ever gets him to be like 'oh, bad, let's stop' is the external reactions of those he actually cares about. Meaning Billy, basically, lol.

I don't want to write them in a way that makes it seem like Billy's in control of all of Stu's actions and kind of babysits him, but I do think that Billy's a bit of a moral compass/guideline for Stu. Like, Stu knows that Billy has similarly messed up interests, so if Billy is like 'dude' Stu knows he fr needs to take a step back, or at least think things through a little more.

Stu also cares about what Y/n thinks, but it's a little different. Stu is selfish, especially when it comes to impulsive moments, and when he's in that mood, he isn't really thinking about the consequences of his actions. Plus, Y/n's a girl, and a slightly sheltered girl too. He justifies--and subconsciously believes--that she wants it/him too and she just doesn't know it. Or she's just too scared to admit it to herself bc of her upbringing and morals (he is dating Tatum, and Y/n loves Tatum)

Now, this in no way justifies his actions or thought process, but Stu's not completely wrong, per say. Y/n is kinda scared of dating let alone having sex, and she wouldn't go for someone dating her friends, and she does...or at least is, starting to like Stu and Billy more than she'd ever let herself even acknowledge in her thoughts. Doesn't make it okay though!!

but if you want to go into hypotheticals the aftermath would have been BRUTAL! Billy is more worried about Y/n finding some way to leave them bc of his mom, so he wants to go about their entire relationship in a more methodical, careful, patient way.

He's willing to put in the hours (we know Billy likes his plans lmao) as just a friend. Sure, a friend that might be around a lot, and is just smidge more touchy than someone like him can get away with, but a friend. He can monitor your reactions and figure out how to set the pace of your friendship-to-relationship pipeline according to you. That way he knows you won't get scared off.

Stu agrees, but sometimes he just can't help himself. Plus, he can get away with more bc everyone knows that Stu is touchy.

I don't think Stu would have done anything assault-y to Y/n that night unless Y/n initiated something (which, considering his warped perception, could have been something small) or he got really triggered and lost control. (tbh, his worst intentions were overly cuddling/lowkey feeling up Y/n...and maybe stealing a pair of her underwear) but still!! too far!

but if something did happen and Y/n was upset the next morning, Stu would for sure be trying to smooth it over. If it didn't work and Y/n started crying?? game over, Stu actually feels remorse for once,, Billy is super mad about the whole situation, everything would be so bad!

Fortunately, though, my fic world is nice :)) there will be character development :) now, it is Billy and Stu, so will the situation ever be 1000 percent free of toxicity? Nooo,, but things can get better, especially when it comes to boundaries and things of that nature. I don't want it to be like a whole 'oh she fixed him' thing, but things do get nicer,, sweeter. But a lot of rough things have to happen first!!

Help I'm suddenly plagued with thoughts of Popstar Sensation!Shino AU. It's so dumb.

He can sing. He can dance. He can play guitar and piano. Dude's all kinds of popular. He always seems to be so poised and mysterious in interviews, yet on stage he's, like, crazy athletic with his showmanship and his presence makes itself known. His main asset is his Grade A Coolness. But surprise! He's actualy a Tripple Threat Musician! He's also a talented actor! But, no one really knows about the last one. Why? Because there's always a camera in his face in public. So he's always acting.

On stage he goes by simply Moritaka (play on source material). In reality, he's still the same old Shino Aburame we know. He's still a huge nerd and Insects are still his special interest. He plays many instruments due to his upbringing but keeps that on the DL because his Record Label has this Image for him. He sings lovely sweet nothings and danceable anthems on stage, but when he pours his soul into his writing, it's more raw and sad, usually very cathartic and often with a hint of bitterness. Not something that can rake in the success as easily as the Pop Music he adapts to as it's given to him, but it helps him cope. He loves his layers goddamn it, and sometimes he feels like a clown on stage with these "fashion savvy" outfits they pick out for him. He especially misses his glasses on stage but he can manage well enough with his contacts, though they do really irritate him sometimes.

Shibi had made the choice to hide Shino from the public eye as much as he possibly could from a young age, so very few people could figure out what he looked like as a kid, especially after he chose to start wearing prescription sunglasses specifically.

He lives a sort of Hannah Montana double life with a "Lucky" by Britney Spears flavoring. Except he started as a young adult, 20's sensation, so he's also unfortunately sexualized to a much higher degree right off the bat and the heavy emphasis on his looks can be very tough on his skin, let alone his nerves and insides. But he's not blind to his own attractiveness. Plus he'd be damned if the constant dieting and working out didn't amount to anything. His day job is less of a job and more he acts like a nerd about his beloved bugs and is very active as Shino in online communities dedicated to Insect love and information. In fact, days off for Moritaka include Shino being secretly Philanthropic and he's always furthering his education in one way or another. He didn't become a sensation over night, his family's been in the Music Business, but the Label would have you believe he was a nobody who made it big of course. He probably did this against his family's wishes tbh and the secret identity was to give the name Aburame absolutely no credit. Spite is such a motivator you guys, and selling his soul for sum amount of years means he can do what he realy likes in his free time. When he has it, anyway.

The fun part for me, the main part for me, is that all his old classmates don't recognize him as Moritaka. But, they're all fans to some degree. Especially Ino and Naruto, the two who were the meanest to him for no good reason lmao

Ino thinks he so unbearably handsome and can watch the same dancing clip over and over again. Naruto genuinely likes his music, who cares if it's Pop!? It's super catchy and super good, that's the point!!

Just... imagine Ino and Naruto winning two VIP tickets to one of Moritaka's Bigger Concerts and they're going feral the whole time and Shino has to refrain from reading them to absolute filth and revealing his true identity during backstage access and dinner and an after party or whatever the winners of the contest win because they're all over him now when from K-12 they literally wanted nothing to do with him and went out of their ways just to shut him down or bother the hell outta him with complete disregard for his feelings hahahahaha

Life

Every day life is pretty unpredictable in his world, as one might assume. What jobs come his way, different outcomes, personal objectives, and the like influence daily activities, so there isn't much by way of routine. The basics of everyday life happen every day, of course, but when - and sometimes where, depending what we're talking about exactly - varies. For instance, some people start their day off with a shower, whereas he may start his day running out the door for this reason or that and not hop in the shower 'til ungodly hours of the night, or the middle of the day. It just all depends how things pan out.

Sleep

In his line of work, one can never be too careful.  Even the slightest slip can spell disaster, and unfortunately, a "slip" can be something so simple as attending a basic need.  Sleep leaves one vulnerable, and there is no way around it.  Going without is out of the question for a number of reasons, and no matter how he tries to stave it off with energy drinks and coffee, sooner or later it catches up to him.  However, while he can't go without it, he still manages to safeguard himself when he finally succumbs.  Aiden is an incredibly light sleeper; anything out of the ordinary, be it a noise or sensation creeping across his prone form, will wake him fairly easily.  It works to his advantage, for the most part.  Footsteps near the door of his chosen hideout, creaky floorboards, chatter than rises above the normal drone of a passing crowd - he'll be awake and ready in no time flat, so he can head off any potential threat.  However, despite the benefit, it can also work against him.  Given the multitude of noises and whatnot generated naturally by a city environment, who knows what might permeate the walls and make him stir.  Is it a threat?  Is it a weird, albeit benign sound he probably could have ignored?  He doesn't know, and it doesn't matter, because it'll have him up anyway.  That sort of thing does not make for a decent night's sleep, and often, the day to follow begins with downing a cup or three of coffee to keep him nice and alert. Needless to say, seeing Aiden sleep deeply is an incredibly rare occurrence.  It's the sort of thing that only happens when he feels entirely safe, and that, unfortunately, happens next to never.

Hobbies

Fishing - it's not a hobby he partakes in much anymore, but it was, at one point, a favored way to pass some time. It also came with good memories, as he'd often share that time with Jacks and Lena when he could. Alas, times have changed. Maybe one day he'll get out on the water again; maybe Jacks will come with him, but for right now, all talk of it is in the past. Hit the gym...or, just the street and his hideout - Aiden is an athletic guy, capable of running for long periods of time at a decent speed, free-running, taking others down by various physical means, etc. Those kinds of abilities don't just happen. Athletic pursuits are on his list of ways to kill time. At one point, he would have indeed hit up a gym for an hour or two every day, but now? Now it's confined to jogging/running along the city streets and working out in his hideout(s). Even so, still enjoyable. Literally anything to do with computers - he grew up with them, they're essential for his line of work, they're fun to play around with. Granted, most of his time spent messing with them now is strictly for his line of work as opposed to pleasure, but still, it counts. Just driving around the city - give him a nice car and let him go. This was, admittedly, soured a little by the accident. It's gone from a relaxing activity to something he generally does out of necessity, but there remains an enjoyable aspect to it, however small it may be.

—He is very, very easy to tease, but be careful bc he will bite you right back with the same level of teasing...unless it scared him/made him nervous/too flustered

—If he was at all willing it would only be for mouth cuddles when Irza is just bored bc the cat loves hugging things and warmth. He doesn't like being swallowed because Irzayn is a jerk.

—I can certainly see him messing with Vara using food but not by a lot. Maybe something like him staring at Vara while he's eating or when he's being an extra jerk, Vara being dropped on top of it and he uses his claws or fork to just kinda poke Vara to mess with him. It probably wouldn't go much further than that, he would just want the fear. Except tbh I can see him covering Vara in whipped cream on purpose and offering to 'help' him before proceeding to lick it off.

13. Protective vore?

—If it's to protect his hero (cat hero boyyyy) he will definitely do it and never say a single word to actually explain it.

—He would also do this. He is extremely possessive and has already killed villains/heroes that have done anything bad to Vara several times sooooooo...if that was an option he'd take it.

—Something in between, I'd say. (If in a world of pred/prey bc idk how else to explain) He initially wouldn't really have an opinion, use it for threats, or just...kinda to scare people. It would only be later that he'd see it a little more positive because of Vara. They'll mainly have a shrinking dynamic I think, so it's not really a first thing to consider.

yeah the 'getting relegated to a sideshow informant with a quirk' thing is exactly why I think that making him too much of a usual ally rather than just an occasional one might take the bite out of the character too much - it's kind of the same with Harley, where imo if she's too much of an ally and good guy she just doesn't feel quite...'Harley' anymore? these characters are famous because they're villains so taking away from that too much and making them too 'good' takes away some of what makes them so fun and interesting. - that's not to say they shouldn't get reform arcs ofc, i'd actually love to see Riddler have a reform arc where he opens a PI office again -this time preferably as the result of actual character development though and not just the result of a head injury that turned off his 'evil guy' button. (this kind of arc would need him to be the protagonist of his own solo issue or series though probably idk)

that part where you said "when you said he'd steal priceless artifacts, I was thinking, "Unless the artifacts or the robbery itself pose a danger to civilians, Bats might put it on the back-burner and piss him off..."" - I was actually kind of banking on that, that Batman eventually would put pursuing him on the back-burner and that way provoke him into doing something more grand or drastic. A sort of "oh so you didn't pay attention when I did this harmless heist? Ok fine, I'm gonna take hostages now, let's see if you pay attention then >:(" type of situation? which then would force Bruce to acknowledge even the more harmless of his crimes due to the possibility that ignoring them might tick him off enough that he'd start endangering lives to get the attention he wants. basically he'd be a threat because he might lash out more or go off the rails if he's not placated enough so batman would have to keep track of him just to make sure he's still in the 'relatively harmless crimes' phase and not about to snap and actively endanger the city. and...maybe I was also thinking of that Valentine's issue where Bruce decided to abandon his date and go full Batman mode all because Edward robbed a florist and left him some clues in a flower bouquet. sometimes even the little things are enough to get Brucie to go full dark knight it seems.

I realized I've neglected to write you updates on my exterminator Wilbur dreams!

So here I am to tell you about the silly little things that's been happening.

Tommy is my new best friend because I managed to convince him to give me playing cards, though which Wilbur took them away pretty quick 😔 (so I bit him when he took them from me and proceeded to spit some ✨colourful words at him✨ ... Yeah he didn't appreciate that and tried to drown me again, prick.)

Tommy is also my biggest enemy because he said he'd rescue me and Niki and I apparently took offense to that because I yelled for Wilbur (Niki didnt appreciate me doing that 😬) (guess he said rescue and I heard kidnap- or something)

Niki has been trying to convince me Wilbur is in fact not keeping us as pets and is actually evil and I brush it off because "yeah he tries to drown me sometimes and is weird but he just has a temper" (dream me being oblivious is almost too accurate to my general air-headdedness irl LMAO)

Wilbur told me to behave or he'll just eat me to which I promptly said "that's boring." Which ??? Don't know what I meant by that but hey! Neither did Wilbur so I live another day.

I got put in the borrower games because I kept bugging Wilbur about having nothing fun to do, and because it's my dream and I make the rules I beat his literally impossible games and he wasn't happy about that ig (because he keeps trying to drown me literally what the heck my guy- just get better at making rigged games y'know???)

I saw this list in the masterlist of @the-emo-asgardian for Loki x Reader, but I wanted to try to make a new trend of this by using my actual SO for the answers. I hope you don't mind. With that, let's get on with the list!

A=Adoration: What do they adore about you? The way I don't judge him and am able to understand his mindset really easily. "I appreciate how when I'm going through something and try to brush it off as nothing, you're always like, 'Eh, if it means something to you, then it means something to me.'" (This is pretty true tbh😅)

What I adore about him is his antics. He always has a way to make me laugh with his crazy habits like changing his voice (not necessarily voice impressions but still...). He's always so much fun to be around.

B=Beauty: What do they find most beautiful about you? "Your laugh, your smile, I wanna say your skin, but that sounds really creepy...(😂) I wanna say your personality too."

His consideration and his kindness. He says he's not a good person, but he is actually very kind and caring. I also love his laugh. So much so to the point where it's almost like a mission to be able to hear it at LEAST once or twice whenever we're on the phone or with each other.

C=Cuddles: Do they like cuddling? "I don't think I have to answer that (lol)! Like it's pretty obvious!" (Simple answer: Yes)

We see us being really happy together actually. We have all sorts of date ideas and have talked about what kind of things we'd do if we were married and whatnot.

G=Gifts: Do they like giving gifts? Receiving them? "I give gifts..." He is such a spendthrift. He can take gifts, but he usually says he doesn't need anything. But if given the chance and ability, he would literally buy anything and everything he could to make his loved ones happy. (Which I can appreciate, but I'm always like "I don't need it." But he's like "I want you to have it!" "I don't need it!" "Take it!" It's a bunch of back and forth with this...😅)

I'm not bad at giving gifts because I'm always going by what kind of things the recipient would really like/appreciate/be able to use. Plus, my mindset is if I'm able to get the gift, then I'll get it, but if it's out of my budget then I'll have to look at something else. With receiving though, I'm easy to please, so I'm pretty appreciative about whatever I'm given.

I=Impression: What was their first impression of you? "Honestly my first impression was that you were a cool girl...even though you were kinda quiet. I also noticed that you were very...cool, kind, pretty..."

For me, it was kinda like, "Oh, he's nice. He's fun to have a conversation with. I hope we can be good friends." And then we became more than that lol

J=Journal: Do they keep a journal? He does keep a journal that he doodles in from time to time. Not as often as he used to though.

I don't really keep a journal, but I do have a songbook that I write in sometimes when I do get inspiration from him.

K=Kisses: What's their favorite part of you to kiss? "I guess the obvious lips?"

Basically same. And his cheeks and other basic places where couples usually kiss each other.

L=Love: How do they tell you they love you? Most of the time, it's just a straight out, "I love you." He says it, he texts it, he sends graphics, emojis, and gifs.

As for me, basically same. I'd say it, I'll text it, I'd send images and gifs and emojis.

M=Mischief: Do they prank you? Prank with you? "I mean, I feel like it'd be both. ... I'd prank you AND join you." This boy is a frickin' gremlin and a troll. Mischief could be his middle name...

Frankly, we both feel and do the same things about a lot of these.😅

N=Never: What's something they would never do to you? "Hurt you."

Force him into something he doesn't want to do.

O=Original: How original are they when it comes to wooing you? "I mean...pretty original. ...We're not standard people."

Idk...it's not really something that I think about tbh

P=Protective: How protective are they of you? "I got a knife. That's all you need to know."

I got a taser. That's all you need to know.

Q=Quiet: What quiet, peaceful moments do they appreciate the most? "Cuddling or just watching a YouTube video. Or just sleeping." We literally sleep when on the phone with each other.

R=Romance: How romantic are they? He can be VERY romantic.

I guess I can be kinda romantic what with all the cuddling and kissing a whatnot that we do.

S=Sharing: Are they good at sharing their emotions with you? "Yes." I feel like he's gotten better about it. He used to just internalize his emotions, but for a good while, he's grown more open about his thoughts and feelings.

I'm pretty good about expressing how I feel because I essentially wear my heart on my sleeve. If I have an opinion, there's a chance that it'll be heard by someone. Most likely him.

T=Trust: How much do they trust you? "A lot! A Lot! A LOT!!"

Same answer. We trust each other with a lot. The things we've talked about. We've revealed so much to each other already, and we're not even 5 months in yet.

U=Upset: How do they comfort you when you're upset? He hasn't really been upset. But, if the situation were to arise, most likely I'd primarily talk to him to get it out. That's mainly when he's sad. If he's mad, then I'd let him cool down, then we'll talk.

He somehow always has the right words to say. At one point I was going through a wave of grief at the loss of my favorite uncle and I was telling him about it. That day, I was feeling like crap and I couldn't cry for a long while that day until I told him about it and he was saying that in his culture (he's Mexican) the loved one isn't truly dead until they're forgotten, so as long as we keep his memory alive then he's still alive in our hearts. That honestly was what broke me and allowed me to let it out with him by my side. He doesn't know this bc I haven't told him yet, but it's moments like this that stick with me because they remind me of how caring and compassionate he really is/can be.

V=Vulnerable: When was the first time they were vulnerable with you? We haven't really had a moment where he was vulnerable yet, so this can't really be answered yet. There will be an update when the time comes.

As for me, the vulnerable moment is basically described under U. Even though I'm more emotional than him, that was probably the most vulnerable I had ever been with him.

W=When: When did they realize they were in love with you? In middle school. We just didn't realize it. The full story is in a past post that I can link to (insert link here.)

X=Xaphoon: What kind of music reminds them of you? "Michael Jackson." (In middle school, I went through a phase where I'd watch, play, and listen to only Michael Jackson to the point of it being pretty unhealthy.)

Imagine Dragons. He's a rocker and the only rock band that I'd really listen to would be Imagine Dragons, and so every time I listen to them, i think about him too bc he also really likes the band.

Y=Yearning: Do they yearn for you when you're apart? "I mean...texts kinda prove it..." Short answer: yes.

Short answer: Yes.

Z=Zoo: Would they want any pets? He wants frickin' snakes, but he knows that I hate them, so he claims he'll put it in a shed in the backyard and make sure of taking precautions when cleaning up the shed and taking extra care that they wouldn't escape. Other than that, he loves animals, so he'd be happy with almost anything (that's reasonable/safe).

I want a cat. Even now I want a little tuxedo munchkin cat. He knows this and knows that I'm a cat person so it's a little obvious that if/when we get married and start living together that a cat would be roaming around at some point.

I hope y'all enjoyed reading through this. I enjoyed the concept with a favorite character, but I wanted to try it with an actual person, and it worked out pretty well. He and I had fun answering them too. So I hope other couple will find this and give their own answers. It doesn't have to be deep dark secrets or things that reveal something strictly personal. Just some basic responses that answer the questions, and if you want to give extra details, then that's your choice. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, and I can't wait to see what kind of responses this gets.
