Okay so my right arm is kind of my whatever tattoo arm but I’m dedicating my left arm to things I love so much. I started this side off with a tattoo for the hunger games, and I’ll be adding something this week for the fourth wing/iron flame series and I’m SOOO excited to start filling it up 🥹🤍 (this is still my favorite tattoo, I don’t know if anything will ever top it)

February 27 2023 So both good, unfortunate, and annoying things happened today. Firstly the good: I went to a meeting with a youth advice center where I learned about a gender and identity therapy-ish group which sounds pretty interesting. The annoying thing is that I still haven’t heard about my legal gender change and my advisor noted that she’d heard of similar long waiting times, so love that for me. But what about the bad? Well, My tattooist got sick and cancelled our appointment tomorrow.

Preparing for your tattoo - don’t stress!

IN PREPARATION BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT: *Please exfoliate and moisturise 2 weeks prior to our appointment if you can. This will soften the area of the skin and make the process a little bit easier for tattooing. Please do not apply either the day of, before your appointment, to allow the stencil to adhere well. 

*If you are scheduled for an appointment on the upper arm, please bring a singlet with you. If you are working on the legs, please bring loose shorts with you. This will make it super easy for you on the day of the appointment when stencilling and tattooing. Try to wear clothes that you aren't too attached to, as they may get ink stains on them. 

*Bring lots of water, your favourite snacks and lunch if we've got a big day ahead. Even for small appointment, I recommend bringing a bit of sugar to keep your sugar levels up.

* Make sure to eat breakfast! It gives your body the extra energy and calories to work through during your appointment. Without a decent meal, you may become dizzy, and can pass out.

*Wear comfortable clothes and get a good night's rest the night before your appointment! *If you are working on an area that may leave you a feeling little bit exposed, feel free to bring a shawl or small blanket to use while getting tattooed.

Because I'm the last person who needs to earn money due to shit spending habits, I have a scheduled tattoo mid June.

What's it gonna be?? Well of course my main mans Meta Knight. And it'll be done in the tattoo artists personal style. They already make beautiful anime tattoos, so figured "why the hell nah". This time it's on my upper left arm, because I learned my lesson with the Till Lindemann Engel chest tattoo.

Anyhooty, I'm excited for this. I don't neccessarily have a colorful tattoo, and the fact this first brightly colored one will be Meta Knight just makes me so happy. He's been my favorite since I was a little kid. I'll post full deets whenever it gets done.

March 22 2024 Time for said spontaneous tattoo appointment. I think my body wasn’t totally ready since I got very shaky, sweaty, and dizzy when we put down the stencil. To calm my nerves, I was given a pure glucose which seemed to help. Not sure if it was because I hadn’t eaten enough or because I hate seeing my own veins. I was surprised by the tattooing experience. I thought it would hurt like hell (it was on my wrist). Instead, it was almost a calming pain. I talked too much, poor tattoo artist.

I’ve got a tattoo appointment in a month!! Crazy!!

Not to get emotional about my big dumb bird friends but, I love my big dumb bird friends.

If you watch Sunwings in the late afternoon, they will keep their wings outstretched to catch the last sunrays on their solar panels. Then as soon as the sun sets, they panic. They'll frantically flap up towards the west, squawking and flailing, before landing and booting up their shields - they'll repeat this pattern over and over again until dawn. But why raise their shields when there is no active threat? My theory is, they're scared of the dark. Their source of energy and light is gone and their tiny bird brains don't know it'll come back again because they aren't programmed to know about "morning". So they boot up their glowing shields, wasting their power, so they have some light against the dark.

Then the sun rises in the opposite direction and they go "...OH." and turn around to sunbath and recharge again.

So dumb, I love them.

oh i forgot to say. went to the pharm yesterday & the pharmacist went "still going by your deadname in the system?" & i said yeah & she went okay what's your preferred name? ill put it in here myself & she did! (she seemed very excited to help). & the cashier at checkout said she liked my haircut <3
