sí, pero no. hago lecturas gratuitas pero con una dinámica distinta, hago este tipo de lecturas por lote, cuando siento que debería hacerlo. cuando abra lotes para lecturas gratuitas haré un post sobre ello con las reglas específicas para ése lote, pq pueden cambiar dependiendo de cómo me sienta y de qué tipo de lectura gratuita acepte para ése momento. xfa espera por esos, que valen la pena.

Prized Possession

Oh Fortune, he doesn’t have it easy. First, the yuan-ti of the party nearly kills him in an earlier battle using the Hunger of Hadar, causing necrotic scarring all up his right arm and side. Then, as he’s concerned with the increasingly murderous tendencies of said yuan-ti who’s talking more and more with his sword, he decides to do something about it. The yuan-ti is unconscious after a lengthy hop between worlds and there’s Fortune’s opportunity. Just, chuck the sword into the woods, hop to the next world, everything’s fine and dandy.

So he grabbed the sword. He shouldn’t have.

Do you know what happens when two beings like Hadar the Devourer and the Lord of Luck fight inside of one mortal soul? For the right to claim the soul as their prize, the body as their vessel? It’s not pretty, let me tell you.

The Lord of Luck won out in the end, but not after Hadar made Fortune cut off his own hand, the one holding the box containing his cards. So as of right now Fortune is one hand short, a few nightmares and mental scars richer, and the owner of a soul where a sixth of it is beyond saving.

Also he seems to have severed the yuan-ti’s connection with his patron. Whoops. (Sorry not sorry) ----- Also to be fair, it was fucking lucky it was Fortune who touched the sword and no one else. He’s the only one who stood a chance against Hadar’s possession, since he has a sponsor of his own to fight for him.

Akuyu the Fickle - “Fortune”

I’m going to get to playtest my Tarotell class. It’s not finished, I still have a lot of cards to make, but it’s finished enough to play a level 1 character. So I of course made my first official Tarotell extra extra™

Akuyu comes from a relatively large town. He’s been selling fortunes and getting caught up in the romance of life for years and years. Eventually, all the promises he’d made, all the stories he’d spun, began catching up to him and he decided it was time to move on. Before he could however, a young man whose heart he’d inadvertently broken told his many older brothers about his woes, causing Akuyu to have to flee for his life rather than leave discretely. They caught up to him, but through a string of inexplicable luck, he managed to get away with only a couple of small scars to show for it. It was after this event that he realized that he could do some truly spectacular things with these cards, beyond just telling fortunes.

He mostly goes by Fortune these days, as his birth name has become infamous in his home town. He’s not “Akuyu” anymore back home, he’s “Akuyu the Fickle”, something he very much dislikes.

Fast Facts: Albino. 6′3. Pansexual. Lover of finely made things. 20 Charisma at lvl 1.
