Shallow but essential questions — “Should I stay at home tonight? If I attend this party, will I have fun?” “Should I bring an umbrella? Will rain overpower the sun?” Tarot knows the answers too, but it prefers questions of a profound nature over little things like the weather.

Mindless gambling and betting — When there’s a sports match I want to bet on but I’m not a fan of either players or teams, tarot will never answer me correctly, because it will feel that I’m not invested emotionally. Lenormand won’t care. It will tell the truth fair and square.

Quick yes or no — When tarot answers a yes or no question, it attaches a thesis as to why it is so. But sometimes, people’s intentions, a situation’s history and my own motivations do not concern or interest me. So I ask Lenormand instead for a snappy decree.

How to Do a Line of Five

STEP 1: Lay out the cards.

Get the first 4 cards from the top of the deck.

Use the card at the bottom of the deck as the 5th card.

Note that the middle card is the theme.

STEP 2: Read the cards.

Read them like a sentence, from left to right.

Then read them as a string, with the leftmost card as the subject, and the succeeding ones as adjectives.

Mirror them: 1 + 5, 2 + 4.

Note any possible date predictions. (See above.)

STEP 3: Read the playing card inserts.

Note the suits for yes or no. (See above.)

Add the playing card pips to get the Lenormand card number. (Ace to 10 is 1 to 10, Jack is 11, Queen is 12, King is 13.) If the sum is more than 36, add the two digits.

Then read the Lenormand card that your calculation led you to as the one message you need to remember, if you forget everything else.

When to Do a Grand Tableau

1) On December 31st, or on your birthday, to ask about your whole year ahead.

2) At the beginning of every quarter, to ask about your next three months.

But just choose one or the other. Don’t do them both together.

Recommended Lenormand Decks

The Blue Owl — This classic deck is the equivalent of a blue box vintage Rider-Waite. It is complete with playing card inserts and has no-nonsense images.

Pixie’s — As a Rider-Waite reader, I find this one great to use side by side a tarot spread. It has Pamela Colman Smith’s art, so together, they’re nice and seamless to look at.

Seventh Sphere — The perfect crossbreed between modern and classic. In look and design, it is no doubt new. But just like the older decks, it speaks clear and true.

How to Master Lenormand by Yourself

If you are the type who deeply values tradition and prefers to read almost purely through intuition, buy Andy Boroveshengra’s book, “Lenormand Thirty Six Cards”. It teaches the Near and Far method — perhaps the oldest and most valid way of reading this system.

If you are a technical learner and reader who is a stickler for the rules, look to Caitlín Matthews’ masterpiece instead: “The Complete Lenormand Oracle Handbook”. It treats Lenormand as Linguistics. You would feel like you are taking a college course.

But… if you do not wish to take Lenormand so seriously, that is, if you do not care to learn everything about it entirely, simply download the “Seventh Sphere Lenormand” by Labyrinthos from the App Store. It will teach you all the basics, though perhaps nothing historical and classic.

After a long time (6 months) I'm preparing content to post again. ✨It’s best to not date during mercury retrograde. You can do whatever you want but by actual experience ESPECIALLY if the person you’re dating is a mercury rx native. Once it goes direct, they’ll directly leave also. Doesn’t have to be true for everyone but it def was true for me. Just wait until after the period over. My advice. Frankly, don’t date all. Lmao. ✨Also please please please try and avoid accepting a new job offer during mercury rx and REVIEW the paperwork! During a rx in 2020 I was working as a temp and then they wanted to hire me full time. ✨A way to look/learn at aspects: my little cheat sheet

✨Air/fire- sextile (Leo sextile gemini)

✨Water/earth- sextile (Taurus sextile cancer)

✨Same element- trine (Aries trine Leo)

✨Same modality/different sign- square (moon in Leo square moon in Taurus- they’re both fixed signs but not the same signs- they’re in the same group)

✨Sister/opposite signs- opposition (Pisces opposition Virgo) also count 6 months ahead from the current month to get the opposite sign.

January is Aquarius and 6 months later is July which is Leo season.

February- Pisces + 6 = August Virgo

March- Aries + 6 = September Libra

✨Same sign- conjunct (Aries conjunct Aries)

✨When reading a chart, for Psychological use then use placidus system. You will understand why a person acts the way they are.

I have a day chart (sun through houses 7-12 is day chart and sun through houses 1-6 is a night chart) And I find myself actually an early bird. My sis is a sag sun in the 4th and she has trouble sleeping and absolutely loves sleeping in and hates waking up early. Her moon is in Aries in the 8th which is above the horizon. So it’s the opposite side for us both.

My best friend has her sun in the 11th (so she’s a day baby) and her moon in the 10th. It’s above the horizon and she will sleep all day but stay up all night. She’s a Taurus moon also so she does take a lot of naps lol.

The Slavic Legends Tarot deck sees me as a resilient tarot reader, the one who will often take more than enough onto themselves, trying to do all the work and becoming even more motivated by any kind of opposition. Hard-headed is the world. I don’t back up when the reading sounds unpleasant, I dig deep and carry the information with dignity and over the hills. Maybe my readings aren’t cute and pretty but they hit the right spots.

How can we best collaborate? - XVIII The Moon, XI The Justice

Aww the Moon lady has two dogs just like me! Haha, so sweet! Anyway, we already know each other for a while with this deck. We mostly work very intuitively. This is the deck I can understand very well even when it comes with no booklet. We have a certain mental connection. See the crescent moon glowing at the lady’s head? That’s the clarity of intention. Whatever I ask this deck, it comes with a clear information and message. I respect this deck greatly and it respects me in return, the balance is constantly present. As long as we can maintain a harmonious relationship, this deck is likely to bring plenty of wisdom and joy into my life.

I love how we are basically opposites on the whole theory thing :

You predict plot points by making jokes that end up coming true

meanwhile me and my overdramatic mind obssesses over dark scenarios that would never fit into 9 episodes and then I'm surprised when they don't happen XD

Although I have some things that started out as jokes that ended up being canon (my absolute favourite of which being this joke I made about Ezran in 2x04 that was then an actual thing in the s2 novelization) the weirdest thing for me has been like... the ultra specific thing / things I thought would be more metaphorical that ended up being more literal

AKA a list in no particular order

Me assuming since Through the Moon came out that Callum would inevitably play into Aaravos's hands and that the struggle to not do so would be his main conflict in arc 2 (which looking back, the possession plot line seems so thematically obvious I am genuinely a little sheepish I didn't see it coming)

The game motif being my favourite motif and then s4 fucking Delivered it was beautiful

Viren's atonement arc because of his eye symbolism

That the rune cube placement could be trusted to foreshadow things, specifically the Ocean rune in finding the prison and in foreshadowing Callum's dark magic use

Me going "Hey wouldn't it be Fucked Up if whatever comes out of the cocoon is like a child version of Aaravos?" (hi Sir Sparklepuff my beloved)

For that matter: that Aaravos would ask one of the mage fam to kill Sir Sparklepuff for a deep magic spell, and that they'd refuse to do so

Callum's interplay with freedom being too tethered to Rayla that I banked on her eventually being taken hostage and Callum doing morally ambiguous shit to save her like 3+ years in advance

Seeing Callum's S4 design for the first time and noting that the circlets around his wrists invoke chain symbolism but thinking "Nah him and Rayla being in chains like tarot cards will just be metaphoric right". Haha, no!

Ezran as the embodiment of Justice / the series' Witness (hell yeah thank you 4x03 & TOX for making Justice his highest value)

Predicting Rayla's entire arc 2 arc thus far re: her paranoid and restless nature being what puts them on the path to finding Viren and her wanting a rematch, the coins, and her self worth issues, written March 2020 (months before TTM came out)

Callum and Viren as each other's primary foils (begun before this but started being highlighted further from Nov 2019 onwards with specifically thinking that S4, as opposed to s3, would crank it up to an 11)

Rayla and Callum's whole ass light-dark motif that I thought would be a fun consistency in the background rather than a whole ass arc defining Thing

Characterization wise but Ezran as an Enneagram Nine The Peacemaker personality wise (once again thank u 4x03)

Back in Aug 2021 I noticed that bloodbending had thematic similarities to dark magic (in terms of framing, notions of control & agency) but again, didn't think it'd amount to literal likewise puppeteering (Aaravos is/was even imprisoned like Hama too!)

Seeing parallels between dark magic and thematic/metaphorical cannibalism / positing Aaravos as a cannibal in a fic I wrote in 2019 but never ever thinking it'd be more than metaphorical bc kids show, am I right? (when I tell you I screamed)

Like 3 weeks post s3 I came up with Political Trio Theory in which Ezran and Rayla are at odds about something and Callum is caught in the middle, as he agrees more with Rayla but feels like he should side more with Ezran, which an Ezran / trio centric conflict along those lines seems to be what we're going to get personally with Runaan / the coins in future seasons

Which, not only is it mostly to keep my English major-y brain sharp and my enclosure enriched (parallels are my perpetual hamster wheel), but it's also like... obviously predicting from theme/motifs isn't perfect, but it does mean you have all the right pieces. Then it just comes from running through the options to assemble what the puzzle might look like, & also thinking through the constraints of structure and run time (ergo I wasn't surprised when Callum didn't figure out the mirror himself in early S4 cause I just didn't think the show would have time for that kind of slow build).

Like following S2 I never really thought Callum's journey with dark magic was precisely over, firstly because I saw him absolutely as someone who would do dark magic / things he morally is against again if put in the exact circumstances he was in S5 (hence the CHET predictions post up above), but also because as our primary mage character and with dark magic being the core ethical dilemma for mage characters in the show, it just didn't make sense to assume that it'd be entirely resolved with a neat little bow 2/6 (since at the time we thought it'd be 6 seasons) in. Like - what? So that's something from an analytical standpoint of characterization, theme, and structure, for example, and TDP gives us a decent amount of time to get used to all those things especially in the first three seasons and then we can kind of build our predictions neatly from there.

So what usually happens is that I'll have a passing thought / gut reaction, think "huh maybe it's something," and then actually think about it for like 2 days to 2 weeks and realize that it loops back in with a lot of other stray thoughts and that there's something Substantial there. It never stops being wild

Anyway this was definitely way too long a response so TLDR; I'm always pleasantly surprised / excited whenever I predict anything correctly and also adore when the show throws me a curve ball (hi Terry <3), and the fun of theorizing (and sometimes throwing spaghetti at the wall) for me comes down to the themes and parallels and fun (fanon if nothing else) possibilities I can find. I love writing meta, speculative or purely analytical, even if/when they're often time consuming. My instincts haven't steered me too 'wrong' with TDP thus far, and I don't think they ever will!

she's currently quite withdrawn and probably feels a little powerless, she's going through some diasgreements with somebody more powerful than her. however, i think she'll get the mental strength to cut this off cleanly and make an alliance with someone... maybe she'll sign to a company where she'll be the only artist, maybe frederic will be the owner of this company. or it could also be the "perfect" company in her eyes.

okay so this is the month that things definitely start picking up for her! she's taking the lead more and being proactive, she feels like she's in her power and she's definitely in the spotlight way more. she might get paranoid though about keeping up this momentus and start feeling competitive or restless. she needs to make sure to keep her ego and desires in check.

she has to be careful to not be tricked by financial promises. she has a lot of passion to keep going and to keep shining brightly. i think she should be careful of people from her childhood (maybe a childhood friend? a mentor during her younger years?) taking advantage of her. or maybe this means she should do something that she's always loved as a child, something nostalgic, or doing something in thailand/related to thailand. or that she needs to be careful about who she trusts and what they promise, maybe a company/producer will promise that she'll get to do everything she wants to do if she works with them and that's not the case. i'm not sure, anyways, the main thing is that lisa should be careful about who she trusts.

this month, she's gonna have to make a choice about either staying in korea or going abroad for work so that she can expand and actually reach the goals she wants to. this might be a really difficult choice for her that she might second guess a lot but she's ready. whatever choice she makes, it's gonna be hard to predict the outcome so yeah, i'm guessing she'll go abroad. she's gonna have to work super hard abroad, the same energy as when she was maybe a trainee, and also will rely on someone for emotional support this time.

sooo this month, i think this will be great for her career! she's gonna be in her business mode energy - top of everything, feeling secure, confident and ambitious. but she needs to take care of her priorities; the success she might be achieving during this time might not be the style that she truly wants to do, and/or she didn't get to use her creativity and contribute towards it. she should do things that feel real and meaningful for her, instead of focusing on only success.

Basic Bitch Tarot Tip - Tarot Timing

Let's talk timing predictions...which means this will be a longer tip with some info, more on the traditional side. First and foremost, do not let your readings cause self-fulfilling prophecies if you don't like what you see. Tarot shows the path you are on and the most likely outcome. You can make different decisions to change this. Tarot is a tool that alerts us to where we are going - it is not a definitive answer.

With that in mind, let's talk timing. Everyone has different associations, but these are mine, mainly influenced by traditional schools of thought:

Wands - Spring

Cups - Summer

Swords - Autumn

Pentacles - Winter

I take wands as days, swords as weeks, cups as months, and pentacles as years. The number on the card is the amount of time (ex., two of swords = two weeks; five of cups = five months).

Now what happens with the majors? Well, you can use their zodiac sign to give you a time period (ex., The Emperor is Aries associated so timeline is from March 21-April 20). For the cards that don't have a zodiac sign associated with it:

• The Fool: will happen unexpectedly

• The Magician: Mercury is the planet of this card, so think of it as the timing will move quickly

• The High Priestess: timing is hidden/secret

• The Empress: nine months; on a full moon or Friday

• Wheel of Fortune: will happen in it's own time; usually within a year

• The Hanged Man: delayed; may need a new perspective to speed it up

• The Tower: will happen with force and is unavoidable

• The Sun: daytime or summer

• Judgement: possibly on a Tuesday; may involve more than one factor so a decision will have to be made

• The World: not fixed in time, may take some work to get there

Court cards are an entirely different thing: look at the decans of the associated zodiac signs. Some choose to omit court cards for timing due to it being more complex. I won't get into it in this post, but there are other resources to find this information until I make one dedicated for them!

rumor tracking anon here. Looking at my spreadsheet, there are a couple rumors for Meghan and Harry that are predicted soon for February/March/April 2023. These are the ones I'm following:

Meghan's return to social media

Archewell Season 2

Spare Part 2, slated for an April 2023 release, which the publisher and Harry want to drop on us like a bomb (ie without any notice or advance PR) to avoid things being leaked early

Something dropping about lawsuits or their litigation, mostly about Harry's assaults (and that's all I'll say about that)

Meghan and Harry's titles going away - Charles taking them back, Parliament taking them back, or Harry and Meghan giving them back

Archie and Lili's titles going away - Charles taking them back Margarethe-style.

The first move towards divorce

Meghan and Harry involved in the Time Magazine centennial celebrations, which begin March 2023. TLF had a blind months ago that Meghan and Harry had negotiated deals for the Time Centennial (like Kate and the British Vogue centennial).

Most of these rumors seem to relate to several astrologists and tarot readers seeing something enormous happening to Meghan and Harry in March 2023.

Looking at the transits, pretty much everything is looking bad/chaotic. The only good transit I was able to find was Jupiter's transit to Meghan's MidHeaven. Short Term: High Priestess reversed & Seven of Wands reversed

TL;DR: February-April

There are a couple of interpretations for actual times. In tarot, wands can indicate Spring time. The High Priestess is card number 2. The first thought I had was "second month of Spring" or April.

Then I looked to see what signs The High Priestess & Seven of Wands represent and it includes Pisces and fire signs, respectively. Pisces season starts in February (2nd month of the year) and Aries is the first fire sign of Spring (March & April)

On a spiritual level (getting to the reversals), here are some things that may need to happen prior to this timing to make the timing more likely: Take time to meditate on your worries - this can include guided meditation (lots of great ones on YouTube), walks, writing, singing, or praying. Anything that makes you feel at peace and forget about external stimulants. The high priestess in reverse also reminds you that not everything you see on the surface is true. Remember that while people you know seem to be finding their people, they all have their own stuff going on internally/behind the scenes. I'll use myself as an example: I am HAPPY and feel really lucky to have found J. Yet, nearly every day I have at least one thought surrounding "omg, what if he decides I suck and leaves??" It doesn't take away from the happiness, but just something to remember as you observe others. Remember you have your own story to build! The seven of wands reverse is here to tell you to keep being yourself <3 Your beliefs are yours. Your excitement is yours. You are yours! Long Term: King of Pentacles & Seven of Cups reversed

TL;DR: July 2024-April 2025 (sorry it's such a long long term lol)

This is also based on a couple of factors. Cups can indicate months as well as summer time. The easiest interpretation for this is the 7th month (7 of cups reversed), July, which is summer in the northern hemisphere. Pentacles can indicate years and the winter time. However, since the King does not have a number like the seven of cups, I don't think multiple years. I am really leaning toward the course of this next year and a few months. I went into April of 2025 because the King of Pentacles has Taurus energy. The other signs represented by both cards are Scorpio, Leo, & Aquarius which fall into this time frame.

Spiritually/personally: there may be a personal (financial?) goal you're training to obtain right now and you may need to focus on that for a little longer before this timing comes to fruition. Being methodical and writing down plans can help! This King of Pentacles energy also tells me that if this timing happens on the longer scale, you're going to be set up for success. The Seven of Cups always reminds me of indecisiveness/overwhelming options, even in the reverse. Take time to reflect on the choices and try to reduce the number of options. Road Blocks: Two of Cups, Four of Wands reversed

So, why might one timeline happen over the other? My first feeling is that there might be someone who comes in that feels like they may be your person, but the relationship is a little unsteady, communication is so-so, and you're just overall unsure about it. If this happens, trust your gut. It's okay if this person is not your person because the one meant for you will be coming! I know the feeling of longing for someone to love and love you back, but I also know the feeling of finally finding someone that feels right. You deserve only the best. If it is not another person coming in, I do think it is some conflict in relationships (whether colleagues, family, or friends) that will have you pre-occupied.
