congrats on 300 followers!! i'm gonna go with 🌷 for now. so this happened a few months back, basically i started "talking" to this guy on snap and we would text like everyday, i'd send him "good morning" and "goodnight" (with our on inside joke) texts and it was going fairly well and i started to really like him just to find out after weeks of this that he was talking to another girl i was friends with and he REALLY liked her and i told her about me liking him before i knew they were talking and she never told me about them, i don't like him anymore, not after that, but it's been months and he's STILL pining for her and they haven't gotten together even though they both know they have feelings for each other, good time, good times

it's a long list. Erm so we got minecraft, hermitcraft, stardew valley, subnautica, Tanis, The Black Tapes, and Rabbits podcasts by the Public Radio Aliance, drawing and painting(obvi)

I like all of they because they involve adventure, discovery and companionship and they are all things that I love and strive to have in my life :]

Plus the podcasts are pure horror and biblical supernatural lore which I LOVE!!!!(I also fiend over horror movies)

I grew up obsessed with starwars and I still an obsessed to this day and I have MULTIPLE ocs. Ashoka is my idol and Rex is my bbg <3

I also love music SO MUCH I have hundreds of thousands of hours on Spotify, my all time favorite starting from when I was 9 is Wolfmother and I totally recommend them! I also like rap and rmb and pretty much anything if it has a good beat, I love good base tho, makes brain go brrrrrrr(6arelyhuman)

I am both a car guy AND a bike guy and I to collect and mod several of my own in the future. Whenever I hear an engine rev or that low growl(yummy) of one I break my neck to see where its coming from lol

Currently, Chapter 15 has writer’s block beating me over the head with a club, so I’ve not been able to write anything solid in about a week or so 🥲

So lemme tell you a bit about my main character! She’s a personal reflection of myself, despite the fact that she wholly identifies as a woman whereas I’m a lovely non-binary creature 🥰🥰🥰🥰💗

Akatani “Tani” Hikanari (MC)

(Ahk-UH-tahn-ee) (Hee-kuh-nar-ree)

I’m giving enough info out but not enough for spoilers; I’ve also included the pronunciation of her name because I wanna make sure that it’s read properly (I’m not trynna sound like a pain in the ass about it, I promise) 🤣

•Well for starters she’s a fucking spitfire and a half tbh (gee I wonder why?) 🤣🤣

•Tani is 20 years old at the beginning of the fic 😁

•She’s got long, silky, jet-black hair, jet-black eyes, and an athletic yet vaguely curvy physique (C-cupped chest, slightly wide hips, and a plump lil 🍑)

•She’s loud and willful and will throw herself in harm’s way to protect her students, her friends, and her Village 🥰

•She’s the jinchūriki of the Two-Tailed cat Matatabi, a being who’s the fucking complete opposite of my OC; where Tani is loud and uses vulgar language, Tabi is more formal/polite yet kind, like fr Tabi is so fucking nice and respectful and chill (until she’s not tho) 🤭🤣

•Tani’s favorite color is a darker shade of green, think like an evergreen

•Her favorite foods are miso soup, pork tonkōtsu ramen, and steamed gyoza

•As far as sweets go, she loves strawberries; like she could gorge herself on a bush of them and it still wouldn’t be enough 🤭🤣🍓

•She always smells of cigarettes, and the forest; she smokes to deal with the bullshit she’s had to endure (tbf I’ve done the same shit so I can’t say I entirely blame her 😅🤣🥲)

•She’s a fucking lightweight when it comes to alcohol, like she can get white-girl wasted in no time 🤭🤭🤭🤣🤣🤣

•She was a shinobi in the ANBU Black Ops from the time she was 11 years old until she was 18 🔪🏹

•Idk if weed🌿 is a thing in the canon-Naruto universe, but I def plan to introduce it in the next coming chapters and I feel like Tani would def end up being like me: a chronic pothead 🤣🤣🤣

Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?

I like writing casual non-romantic affection. Coradri and Tanis really gets me.... she is going to sleep in your lap like a cat

What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

i pay particular attention to food and the items of everyday life and the work that goes into them. one reason I like writing in a pre-industrial setting... like with clothes for example, after all the labor that goes into making a shirt by hand from start-to-finish, you're gonna wear that shit till it falls off. it degrades over time in a way that's unique to the wearer. fascinates me
