been wanting to write about my sweetheart + I needed something self indulgent today so here we are! 🩷

you never really liked talking anime or nerd culture with men!…a strange thought but a true one nonetheless. It was always one exhausting conversation after the next. From being giving random pop quizzes about this series or a lecture about how that one doesn’t measure up to the solidified greats. That was until you met blerd!ony…the gentle, kindhearted cashier in the store you frequented on a daily basis. Blerd!ony, who recognized the t-shirt you were wearing immediately from that very obscure yet classic anime you loved so much, became absolutely ecstatic to talk to you from that day on. The tall, gorgeous male with a smile like the stars, the most beautiful complexion you’ve ever seen and a voice like honey had given you even more of a reason to gush over him. “You gotta give me your top five right now. I always see your keychains and shit. You got good taste..” you were a bit hesitant because this was always the point where things went left but blerd!ony surprised you by praising your choices and even saying he’d check out the ones you’d put him on to. blerd!ony, who had a sleeve full of video game themed tattoos took pride in showing off his pieces when you happened to catch him outside on smoke break one night. Telling you how he played all the time and even streamed a bit in his free time. “I do alright, you should check me out.” blerd!ony, who was always holding up the line just to chat with his favorite customer about the new series he just started. “I’m talking to my girl, y’all can wait—anyways, did you see that new episode? Shit was crazy.” it wasn’t long before he was asking for your socials and hoping to keep the communication going on days even when he couldn’t see you. blerd!ony, who couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the girl who came in his store with sweatpants and a DBZ shirt all dolled up in your cosplays..some a lot more revealing than others. blerd!ony, who’d always wanted to try the hobby but was afraid had some questions..among other things the next time he saw you. “I see how it is, best friend. You be putting that shit on.” you were infatuated with his humor and laid back personality so naturally, when he invited you to an anime cafe in your city, you accepted. blerd!ony, who was the perfect gentleman ensured that you had the best time as you two chopped it up about all things nerdy, making you laugh more than you had in a long time.

blerd!ony, who confided in you that he didn’t have many friends and especially ones into the things he was, told you how happy he was to have met you. “You cool as hell, we gotta do this more often.” a sentiment you agreed with heavily agreed with. Some time had passed and you two spoke nearly everyday. That’s when he revealed that he was not only interested in attending his first con but cosplaying as well, asked you accompany him..and pick a character! “I trust you, ma. Make me look good..” it was a no brainer as the two of you were huge fans of the Mortal Kombat series and decided to dress as Sindel and Shao Kahn. So the two of you spent days going to the fabric store and ordering materials to build props in your spare time..blerd!ony, who was turning heads the entire time when he revealed that Adonis like figure that had been hiding underneath that company polo everyday..you were nervous and even a little embarrassed walking beside someone so fine. but blerd!ony couldn’t keep his eyes off of you or hands..holding your left one, keeping you close and grasping the small of your back as he guided you through the crowds. Even carrying all of your bags and letting you rest your tired feet on his lap. blerd!ony, who had been eyeing you all day couldn’t help but to be entranced when it was time for the after party and the two of you were dancing with liquor in your system. “You full of surprises, huh mama?” “Try me and you might find out just how many.” blerd!ony, who couldn’t wait to get back to you guys’ hotel room, tore that costume open quicker than you could get the door open..leaving a trail of warm kisses down your neck as his fingers delved into your core, pinning you against the wall in the process. “You so fucking sexy..” muttering in your ear as he hiked your leg up and tugged his bottoms down. blerd!ony, who fucked you like a man starved that night had you grasping at things that weren’t even there..taking you from the mirror, to the dresser and eventually the bed, where he gave you deep backshots; grasping that platinum gray lace front on your head as he did so. “You don’t know how long I been wanting this..fuck..” blerd!ony, who had you fucking up the sheets all night, getting stretched by that thick cock with the curve, absolutely depleted you, so much so, you two barely made it around the convention the next day but he was glad that he had met the girl who loved the same things he did and the one of his dreams. <3

Every time I see the art of Sans that's uncomfortably realistic to how he'd look in-game, my world trembles.

Like, I'm so used to the fandom making him just this cute little guy, you know? Just a cute little guy with a few nihilistic issues and pranks glore.

And then you find art that destroys your perception of Sans just being a cute little guy because no, a mofo skeleton that doesn't stop smiling and somehow winks without any muscles and threatens to kill you only to offset it with a joke is not whimsical, it'd be fucking uncomfortable to any normal child who's, at most, maybe twelve or thirteen.

And I don't mean how some of the fanart portrays Sans in the genocide route; covered in blood, glowing eye ablaze, ready to put some kid in the dirt, or even during the dinner date in the Pacifist route when he threatens to kill Frisk where they stand with his eyes all blacked out. But rather, as just an unsettling character when he's just STANDING there; an uncanny person (if you can even call him that) with too many secrets to fully trust and too many pranks to take him seriously, quirky theme song be damned. He doesn't even have to do anything for the vibe to be off, for you to be uneasy.

It's hard, but fairly common, to make Sans of all people threatening with all of his unexplained powers and knowledge, or to make him seem scary at the cost of him not seeming like Sans (cough cough, Horror tale), but I feel like it takes just as much effort (if not a little more) to make him uncanny without relying on horror or the intensity of the genocide route, but rather keeping up that quirky upbeat persona that he has and still having his design by default make someone uneasy. Not afraid necessarily, but something you'd put an eyebrow up for questioning before you shrug off the weirdness and move on.

I'm honestly in such a dilemma rn because while I like the depiction of Sans just being some cute little skeleton guy who may or may not be canonically two feet tall and just so HAPPENS to have crazy scientific knowledge on random shit while also knowing how to cheat the RPG system Undertale is built around, him being intimidating not because he's trying to be, but because he's naturally uncanny rules too, so I can't decide.

Maybe he's just a weird middle-ground somewhere. I'm still looking for more art that portrays him as both and not either or though, like, yeah, he's this short little skeleton guy who doesn't take life seriously, but also is a freaking weirdo just because he can be.

Bones... help me. I just read a fanfic where the author said that they find it very weird that so many people villainize Clear Sky. They deadass said "sure he's done a lot of bad things but he's always had good intentions,"

I don't think I need to explain why this frustrates me so much.

I could just say, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" but that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of how fucked up Clear Sky is. He really doesn't even have those lmao

In spite of how you can make a DOTC drinking game out of him bellowing "Im Just Trying To (insert relevant good thing here)," he only ever does this when someone is challenging him or offending him in some way. He's not doing anything out of benevolence, this character is obsessed with controlling other people.

Remove Gray Wing sniffing his armpit for the entire arc and you can see Clear Sky's "good intentions" for what they are; manipulation tactics. He only says "Im Just Trying" when he's defending his evil, fucked up choices to someone trying to challenge him.

"You exiled your disabled brother, you're a piece of shit!" "I'm just trying to be fair uwu"

"You slaughtered a random woman and want to kill her babies too?!" "I'm just trying to spare them from suffering"

"YOU BEAT A SECOND RANDOM WOMAN TO DEATH?!" "I was just trying to give her a warning, not my fault she was too weak to stay conscious"

"There's big piles of rotting meat in camp and we have a hostage who you promised to treat well" "I'm just trying to not let these dumb moor cats think that they can have more than they deserve"

It wasn't ever "good intentions." He's NOT afraid of anyone starving. It's a justification that he tells to his cats to justify his cruelty, weaponizing his sad backstory. He has an entire inner monologue in Book 3 about how they can always hunt more food, so it's fine they're killing more than they can eat, and that it takes people "months to starve" anyway because he saw it in the mountains.

Can't stand that line. "Sure he's done bad things BUT." The bad things were really fucking bad, and no, they didn't effectively write a character who legitimately tried to do the right thing. Everything he does just ends up being related to a grab at power or control.

They just wrote a child abuser who likes to hit women and start wars and decided Tall Shadow is also at fault here, somehow. lmao.

You were laying on a branch on a abandoned island you had e/c eyes and h/c you looked around smiling that’s when you heard a noise coming from the beach so you decided to go and check it out when you walked over there you saw a massive ship people were walking around coming onto the island that’s when you see a massive man you weren’t able to tell if he was human but you couldn’t stop starting at him for some reason that’s when the man looks up seeing you hiding in the trees you freak out as the man walks closer you try to run but end up tripping in your panic as the man now stands in front of you he was tall had a bandana around his head and had a massive white mustache the man smiled at you as he kneeled down to your level

“Hello there little lady”

He said looking at you smiling you didn’t know what to do but soon decided to respond just in case so he don’t get mad

“H-hi who are you and why are you here*

The man smiles at you before laughing loudly as the other men that were around started to pay more attention to the situation

“Well we needed to restock but sadly this island is abandoned” the man said still laughing a bit he looked at you reaching his hand out to you you quickly back away and hiss “don’t touch me” you say hissing the man smiles more while looking you in your eyes “I won’t hurt you but I would like to know….why are you on this….island alone little lady” the man says smiling at you. You look at him in disbelief as you sigh and look away from him

“The people who used to live on this island left me here when they left” you say looking away “oh I see well then why don’t you come with me little lady be apart of my crew” the man says looking at you you look at him then away again thinking about it you have been on this island for a while and you know that you might never get a chance like this again but you still weren’t sure if you could trust him “how can I know you won’t try to hurt me or do something bad to me” you say glaring at him the best you could all he did was laugh “ I promise me and my sons would never hurt you and if you join my crew you would get to be my first daughter to so what do you say I ask you again will you join my crew” the man said smiling you sigh and nod deciding that it can’t be that bad and it wasn’t you joined his crew you learned that his name was whitebeard and he considered his crew his family and the day you said yes to joining it you were also apart of his family and everyone welcomed you with opened arms you connected with Marco the most and you enjoyed watching him do his doctor work a lot you would take naps with a boy called ace and even sometimes help cook in the kitchen life was good and you couldn’t ask for anything more you were very happy that you decided to say yes that day and you wouldn’t regret it for the world

But seeing that he was a tall blue hair ghost clown as well?

Even more horrifying.

Poor thing, you were just in the corner screaming for dear life while Jack kept trying to calm you down.

Which only made you scream more.

After countless days of 'off and on' sleep, you tried your best to rationalize.

He hasn't hurt you the entire time he's been here.

All Jack ever has done was try to calm you down when you went on one of your tangent panics.

He's cleaned up your house, and wonderfully at that.

He's even made you breakfast!

Who doesn't love a good homemade pancake with delicious fruits and sticky syrup?

Jack's been trying his best to take his time with you.

You can tell from the way he approaches you slowly and refrains from sudden movement, like if you were approaching the neighborhood stray to pet it.

Slowly but surely, you decide to reach out to him for the first time.

As he's cooking your breakfast one morning per usual, you stand next to him and watch the magic happen.

Jack takes notice and side eyes you.

A small smile crept from his lips for a quick second before he put his attention on not burning the cake.

When he finishes, he hands you the plate of flap-jacks.

You tell him to sit next to you, and he obliges.

He slowly pulls up a chair and scoots in beside you, hands on the table and with a soft gaze.

You couldn't help but smile back, he was so sweet.

You felt bad, but he could understand.

I mean he came out of nowhere, and how was he supposed to know you were afraid of clowns?

No hard feelings at all!

You look at him and manage to mutter a good morning to him.

"Morning! H-How are you? Are you alright?"

His tone was energetic and excited.

This would be the first time you ever talked together normally.

He slowed himself down because he didn't wanna scare you off as he just began to make progress.

"I'm alright, thank you..how are you?"

And with that, the two of you began to make conversation. It was rather nice.

You got to learn about Jack a bit more, other than the fact he was a mysterious clown that can come out of screens.

Jack got to get to know you better, and he got you to trust him just a bit more.

That's all he ever wanted, for his sunshine to not be afraid of him.

You appreciated that he took his time with you, and that he worked alongside instead of pushing.

Ever since Ian, it was really needed.

It was perfectly timed almost.

Probably a coincidence though, right?

As a few months passed by, your relationship grew with Jack in the best way possible.

You guys would talk about the most random shit together.

You'd bake goods together, cook something up for dinner.

You let him sleep beside you instead of the couch.

And soon enough, it got more personal.

Sentimental cuddle hours..

Bubbly bubble baths..

And some even more personal things in bed~

And when it came to the question in mind:

"Do you want me to be your boyfriend?"

You couldn't be happier.

You lunged into his arms and he picked you off your feet.

He showered your beautiful face with as much love as possible. The two of you couldn't be in anymore joy than this.

Jack finally earned your trust, and earned the love and devotion you wanted, deserved.

You finally earned someone who loves you and wouldn't hurt you for the world.

I've never created a Helluva Boss OC until today. And I love her. This is Cerise. Originally she was just going to be some random OC I made up to pair up with a random Helluva Boss characters on Character.ai because I was bored.. However, the more I roleplayed with her and expanded on her, the more I grew to actually really love her. Facts about Cerise: -She knows French but English is her main speaking language -She's a hybrid of a Wrath Imp and a Lust Imp/Succubus -She's a tall woman -She's a dangerous woman -She's not hesitant to put someone in line if they try to cross her -She is Bisexual -In her story, she's technically Crimson's new love interest To explain why she's Crimson's love interest is because, like I said, her original purpose was to just be some random OC to pair with different characters for fun, her first pairing being Crimson. Though, as I roleplayed with her, I actually grew to love her and their dynamic. So I kept her as Crimson's non-canon love interest. Are you named after anyone?

Real name: Yes, a saint (first) and my grandma (middle).

Tumblr handle: It means "shameless" in Korean. Jungkook of BTS said that word perfectly described V, and it stuck with me -- and not many foreign words do. Plus, it perfectly encompassed the content I share here. 😜

When was the last time you cried?

Yesterday, thinking about Night potentially unaliving himself if he reaches his limit with Day's emotional abuse, and Mhok being triggered to remember his sister's death if he witnesses the attempt and tries to stop him. (#LastTwilight) In real life, making myself cry worrying about shit that didn't or might not even happen is my specialty. Anxiety perpetually at 11.

What sports do you/have you played?

If I were athletically inclined, I'd play soccer, baseball, tennis, volleyball, and hockey. But I am extremely accident prone, and deeply disinterested in anymore ER visits.

Whether or not they feel comfortable around me. It helps me gauge how much of my personality I should show. Am I starting at a 10 or a 2? I know we'll be good friends if I can hit 10 before we part ways.

I wish my eye color was violet or that eye color changed based on your emotions. This thought inspired by my recent viewing of both Dungeons & Dragons and the new Percy Jackson Disney series.

Scary Movies or Happy Endings?

Love a happy ending, but only if it makes sense and doesn't seem tacked on after a major unresolved conflict. I only do scary if it's a murder mystery, cause it's like solving a puzzle.

Any talents?

I don't panic under pressure. If anything, it's when I excel the most. Which...is probably a trauma response, but whatever. Lol I've also always been good at seeing the potential in people, whether they were famous or a work colleague. Like I can tell when someone is going to excel in life and what they would excel at.

Random example: Jesse Plemons. Who could've predicted him going from dorky Landry in Friday Night Lights to a respected character actor across film & TV? Me. I did. Who could've predicted he would marry Kirsten Dunst and have kids? Nobody. That one was a curveball. Lol I mean, his competition was Josh Hartnett. Be fucking for real.

On the East Coast.

What are your hobbies?

I work too much to have substantial hobbies, but if I had time, I would do these more: skateboard, write fiction, photography, wander new cities/neighborhoods, make crafts, explore museums, cook new recipes, learn how to play the drums, and learn Korean + Thai + Tagalog.

Do you have any pets?

No, I'm afraid of having to bury them -- and I don't want to clean up poop. Lol But if I could have pets, I'd get a parrot, an iguana, a lot of different fish, and whatever breed of dog Henry Cavill has. For now, I'll stick to my 8 plants. (RIP to the previous 7.)

How tall are you?

Tall enough to reach things for all of my under 5'4" friends -- of which I have many.

What was your favorite subject in school?

Science, but I was very bad at it. Lol I excelled mostly at Math, English, and Spanish.

What is your dream job?

Storytelling in all its forms. But based on my career trajectory, I'd be happy to settle for a marketing job that allows me to craft very subtle product placement in a series or film.

arc v 22 - 30 thoughts!!! whew these eps. set up stuff is important. also, good masumi yuzu moments.

-my god. yuya literally accidentally taking yuzus polymerization card from her and making it his thing when she practiced so hard with it. FUCKing apt metaphor for how I feel she should be the protag and shes being robbed of her role (im sorry I genuinely have nothing against yuya but shes so much more interesting to me! she feels like a classic protag!) im glad he gave it back at least…I was afraid she'd refuse it for some reason…

-I do love yuyas random ITS SHOWTIME english. tmm moment. (theres a lot of random english mixed into this series actually and it always makes me like :D!!! lol I understand!!! hehe)

-uhhh the tall fortune teller lady trying to look at yuyas fate fr and the glass ball SHATTERING AND BREAKING IN HALF IS PROBABLY BAD, THOUGH.

-24 gave some veeeery interesting implications. yuto tells yuzu fusion is the 'enemy' and weve SEEN a synchro (guy on motorcycle, so I assume synchro at least) fighting yuto too!! so. oh my god it is all the dimensions vs xyz. WHAT DID XYZ DO. THATS MY FAV CMON!!! -also very um. interesting in the implications of gx and 5ds being on different timelines I think since the implication is theyre pulling from diff dimensions all at once, right? (possibly diff timelines on top of that, since im p sure even tho I havent seen him, that ive heard arc v kaito is Kind of a Different Kaito from Zexal Kaito. whatever that may mean. canon/timeline divergence???? im SO confused LMAO I thought 5ds was a straight shootoff from gx/dm! I know zexal makes things a bit fucky since I think it implied 5ds didnt Happen, but?? before that I assumed it was a straight line...am I wrong tho...(dont actually answer I wanna figure it out on my own..)

WHY are you using CHILDREN instead of pros dude??? christ with your resources theres no NEED for that right???

-but hes fighting his dad and claims to be on the same side as shun, which. surprised me ngl. reiji team xyz!!!! win for the gays everywhere!!! and he has daddy issues!!!!!!!!!!! king.

-honestly, it raises the question of who the 'good' guys are in this battle? reijis up to use child soldiers and to work with a guy who is willing to trap ppl in cards. yet yuto made a point to say its bc they lost friends and want to protect ppl. we dont know what the other side is fighting for. it FEELS like both sides are willing to do Whatever Morally Grey things they need to, which is SUPER interesting. I mean, we havent SEEN the other side at length yet! except sora, who it was on SIGHT for when he saw yuto! so I'm willing to bet hes got the same 'whatever it takes' attitude…I want to know WHYYYY theyre fighting!!!)

Deeply Traumatized and just seeing the councilwomen sends them into a PANIC I need to run into traffic to protect them (the subs call them a boy but?? quick google says girl so for NOW I'm being neutral w pronouns until further confirmation from the show ig) they were up there with reiji earlier too! tf are u making a traumatized child duel for dude! losing favor points with me very quickly reiji. putting ppl into cards is nbd but traumatizing kids? no. gotta draw the line somewhere man

-YESSS YUZU MASUMI DUEL theyre both doing great I LOVE their dynamic in my mind THIS is what a ygo protag and rival should feel like (sorry to reiji, but he just doesnt feel rival-y enough yet to me!! cannot even explain it) the gay instinct to have a rival. the whole 'im better than you' attitude, the fiery competitiveness…wanting to prove them wrong, the thinking abt them so much u can predict their moves..its SO spicy. then the giving of the red rose card after getting saved by yuzu…masumi? are u perhaps. fellow gay?

-despite all of my efforts sora is growing on me. hes SUCH a brat and is honest about it (and doesnt rly do the whole fake cutesty thing as much as Id expected he would) I think hes actually been as honest as he can, maybe? like I assume theres a good reason he hasnt told the others hes..involved in some kind of?? inter-dimensional battle?? situation??? Im not entirely sure I think hes gonna be a full out traitor or anything, but the others will prob be upset when they find out he's been withholding info…but I 100% think hes some kind of child soldier who BELIEVES his side is right, just like im sure shun feels real justified sealing ppl into cards! -in the crowd you can see ppl wearing cute duel monster accessories, like one girl had a dark magician girl headband/visor thing! very cute, wish we saw more things like that. in pokemon anime they do that a lot and its always such a delight…I want more duel monster cosplay moments! or references in charas outfits!

-ok yuya being the damsel during gongenzakas duel while yuzu is the one yelling, telling gon not to worry is……furthering my idea that yuzu is main chara and yuya is in the position of side character of different gender than main character (who is often a damsel or person to worry over the most). hes the anzu/kotori of the show. to me. JKJSDH (also, gongenzaka, is perfectly nice and fine but its so hard for me to care deeply about him aaaahg even with the episodes centered around him…hes so straightforward and steady, tho. good for him.)

-….the guy who gongenzaka's dueling should be disqualified. he had his goons try and jump yuya! god why isnt he automatically disqualified! doesnt the broadcast pick up audio?? he like, admits to it!

-....is shingo supposed to be yuya's rival actually, instead of reiji? ...he doesnt feel like a rival either though!!! or if he is it feels one-sided!!! yuzu was more ready to fight him than yuya was!!! jkahjkf anyway that duel is up next episode which I wont start tonight...but I'm excited to see more shingo. bc I think despite his best attempts at being a threat hes super silly actually...

“Mini-bacon burgers, awesome,” someone purrs behind your back. You don’t turn around, busy checking on the snacks on the table. If Lisa Braeden did anything right it’s the buffet. “A masterpiece!”

The man steps closer, hand already reaching for the plate you placed onto the table to find more snacks to add.

“Listen, dude,” you threaten, ramming the fork into the food on the plate you prepared, the one the cocky guy tried to steal, “no one gets between me and my food.”

“There is plenty of food, sweetheart,” suddenly you recognize the cocky smirk and those emerald eyes. It’s Dean Winchester, your nemesis who tries to steal your food. “Why don’t you get a new plate and leave this one to me.”

“Dean Winchester, charming as always,” huffing you shove his hand away, “or rather, still the bully who tries to make me feel small and unwanted. Newsflash, I’m not a kid anymore. I am not afraid of you or your buddies, asshat. This time, you will not win.”

“Asshat?” amused Dean watches you pick up the plate, not without shooting him a glare. He longingly looks at the mini-bacon burger on your plate. “Learn some manners, woman.”

“Take your hands off other people’s shit, you son of a bitch,” turning on your heels you storm off to leave a stunned Dean behind. “I will not let you steal my food!”

“Fuck me, she’s a catch—" Dean hastily fills an empty plate with random snacks before he tries to find you again. “There she is.” He brushes past Lisa and her friends, ignores Ruby tries to get his attention.

“You’ve got to be kidding me, Winchester,” you roll your eyes when he sits at your table to snatch one of your burgers from your plate. He stuffs it into his mouth, chewing audibly. “I told you to keep your hands off my food!”

“W-hat?” chew, “I only wanted to have a taste, sweetheart,“ gulp. “I will invite you for dinner after I am done with the buffet. Damn me, Lisa did a great job. Usually, she had a bad taste.”

“Explains her bad taste in men,” you steal one of the spring rolls on Dean’s plate, smirking as he gives you a dirty look. “Payback for stealing my burger. You better not steal anything else.”

“So—what did you do for the past ten years, Y/N?” he watches you eat the last mini-bacon burger, sighing as he didn’t get the chance to steal it too.

“Wow, Dean Winchester remembers my name. I didn’t think bullies remember the people they treated like trash. I give the question right back. What did you do, Winchester? Bully more people.”

“Bully? You?” Dean chokes on the food he tried to chew. “I never bullied anyone in my life, Y/N! How dare you steal my spring roll and blame me for something I didn’t do!”

“Winchester, you wanted to pin a magnet to my braces! Everyone was laughing at me. And you called me metal mouth or something!” you talk back, poking your finger into his shoulder.

“You called me metal mouth!”

“Wait, let’s talk some more. I don’t want to stay here,” he walks next to you, refuses to leave your side as you walk toward the exit. “Come on, we haven’t seen each other for the better of ten years. I want to catch up with you.”

“What is wrong with you? Why don’t you leave me alone, Dean?” it’s hard to get rid of a determined Dean Winchester so you try to outrun him. But the moment you want to enter a cab, he opens the door for you.

“Lemme come with you, please,” he cages you between the cab and his body. His tongue pokes out to wet his lips and his eyes are glued to your chest again. “I promise to make you cum so hard you will see stars.”

ushijima sighed as he hung up his jacket, realising that this was one of those days were you won’t come scurrying to the front door to greet him with kisses and instead he had to hunt through in search of you. although, it wasn’t much of a hunt considering his gut instinct said you’d be in the study room and there you were, cuddled up by the bookshelf.

however, your back was hunched over in way that didn’t look to comfortable so ushijima thought it was his duty to transport you to somewhere that there was a lot more appropriate and fit for sleeping.

so he gently slipped one hand behind your back and the other under your knees to slowly pick you up and carry you to your shared bedroom. is efforts may have been in vain though as he noticed one of your lids flutter open out of the corner of his eye, “good afternoon, sweetheart.” he hummed, steadily shifting his hand from your back to the back of your head to tenderly caress your cheek with his thumb as you cuddled into his chest. “are you awake?”

“No.” you groaned.

“Shame, I was going to suggest going out for walk on the beach--”

“I’m awake! Let’s go!”

♡ coz he just lays in bed till 4AM staring at the ceiling

♡ i imagine that if you were to fall asleep next to him in a crowded, bustling place - like on a train - he’d take off his headphones and clasp them over your ears so the loud announcements don’t wake you up

♡ he doesn’t fall asleep on transport btw (not even planes) so don’t worry about missing your stop

♡ in regards to when he comes back from work, you’re usually already asleep in bed - but there is one time that you were not in the bedroom, and he still teases you for it until this day

most of the time, you’re sound asleep in bed by the time gets home but tonight you weren’t - in fact, you were no where to be seen. he had searched everywhere, called your phone multiple time and he looked at your schedule, but it appeared as though you were supposed to home right now - so hours, he was sitting fretfully on the couch, contemplating calling the police.

however, all his distressed pacing really worked up an appetite so he poked his head into the pantry to grab a snack but his soul almost left his body when he noticed you laying on the floor, fast asleep, with the cat curled up in your arms. who he didn’t even noticed was missing lol

usually, he wouldn’t even think of waking you up but the rage and shock that shot through his body resulted in him barking out, “what the fuck?! what are you doing here?! i’ve been looking all over this damn house for you and--”

he was cut off by the cat springing out of your arms from the surprising sharpness of his voice and scurrying off, leaving you confused on the floor on the pantry, half asleep, wondering how you got here and why tsukishima was yelling at you? “hm? what’s wrong, sweetie?” you hummed, rubbing your eyes while tilting your head up to look at his tall, slender figure looming over you in the doorway.

as much as tsukishima wanted to stay mad at you, upon noticing how cute your bedhead was along with how soft your voice was, he quickly realised that there was no way he could continue yelling you. so instead, he scoffed and slowly kneeled down to sit next to you on the floor, looking at you with kind yet concerned eyes as he inquired, “why were you sleeping in the pantry?”

it took you a moment to try and remember but once you did, you blurted out, “oh, berry was having trouble sleeping.” yes your cat is called berry. don’t question it. her full name is strawberry tsukishima shortcake. “so i cuddled with her in her favourite sleeping spot and she slept like a baby. but i guess i did too.” yo chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of your neck.

tsukishima mentally cursed you out as he was expecting a silly explanation but shit that’s cute. why does he lowkey want to join y’all next time?

♡ and she always does tbh bc she has no idea what to do

♡ like she thinks you look so precious and angelic so she really wants to take a picture and - if she thinks you’d be okay with it - she clicks a photo and probably sets it as her background or posts it on her private story

♡ she just stares at you like ◉_◉ for half an hour bc you are so beautiful then something inside her just prompts her to lean in and just *mwah* and at first she is quite satisfied bc she has expressed her affection

♡ but anyway, she is so careful around you when you sleep - like she will literally do the most just to ensure that she doesn’t interrupt your REM sleep

♡ however, that can lead to extremely sticky situations - like the first time you ever fell asleep around her

You were on the 5th movie of your barbie movie marathon when she looked over and noticed you had fallen asleep half way through, so she immediately paused it so the noise wouldn’t wake you up. This was the first time she had ever seen you sleep and she felt somewhat flattered that you felt safe enough around her to be vulnerable - even though, yachi never really considered herself to be a rather daunting or intimidating person.

she couldn’t help but just sit and admire you for a few minutes before realising that she should probably transport you to somewhere more comfortable as you were currently sitting next to her on the pink beanbag in her room. and although it was kinda comfy, the preferable alternative - her bed - was only a few feet away.

so she knew what she had to do.

she hopped to her feet and before she did anything too hasty, she stretched to ensure that she wouldn’t pull a muscle while doing what she was about to try. she inhaled deeply before crouching down - instead of bending over as she remembered what coach ukai had told her, ‘lift with your legs!’ - then snaking her arms under your torso and knees.

then, she sprung back up and immediately rushed over to the bed as even though you weren’t too heavy, she was afraid that if she held you for too long, you’d wake up. so once she reach the foot of her bed, she tossed you on so your neck was being supported by her soft pillow and yanked her duvet over you.

she gazed lovingly down at your cozy figure laying on her bed and she couldn’t help but smile.

Okay. Im back with more No Way Home thoughts so BIG SPOILERS!!

It's such a love letter to Spiderman. Just every second of it is just being in love with Spiderman.

So so glad everyone was right about Matt Murdock that was everything. And it made it feel so much more authenticity Marvel than any other film I can think of. One of the staples of Marvel comics has always been characters randomly bumping into each other or dropping in to be like "hey, you got this bud? Okay, see you at game night!" Without actually offering any real help. I need more of it. More random heroes please.

They really had Norman say "I'm something of a scientist myself" and I was the only clown in the theater to laugh.

Peter was not afraid to acknowledge Oc's tentacles and yes I did notice how his eyes lingered...

I love how you could tell immediately that it wasnt Tom standing in that portal, but I didn't want to hope, i wasn't ready yet for the heart break, and then he came through and he was so tall and I just knew. I have never felt such joy.

The way Stephen teared up as Peter asked him to make everyone forget him, holy shit. I feel like we all willed Stephen into loving Peter the way Tony did and someone actually listened for once.

Also, why did no one say the words I love you? Like only MJ said it and thats weird to me. Is my family the weird ones? It was bugging me.

Also, they really put so much emphasis on calling her MJ. I dont think anyone called her Michelle even once. Maybe they were just afraid to call her MJ before because of the backlash idk

Watching Tom Holland cry will never not make me cry, he makes everything look like agony and my heart cant take it.

Also, can we talk about Green Goblin? When I was a kid I didn't know about misogyny as a concept so it went right over my head, but that's his whole thing. Goblin hates women. He hates femininity. Anything perceptivly feminine, like compassion and kindness, sets him off. I think we all knew Goblin wasn't going to let Peter cure Norman, but I really didnt put together what his whole shtick was until then. Norman is soft and loving. He's a man who isn't afraid to ask for help, who loves his son deeply. And Goblin is the opposite. And that's why Goblin is the most terrifying Spiderman villain.

Tobeys Spiderman felt a little more Spiderman than ever before, like was it just me or was he different? Not sure but I liked it.

I live for younger characters being the utmost respectful to little only ladies. The whole scene with Ned's Lola gives me life. It is my reason to live.

The trope of killing a superheroes loved one so that they go all dark and have to face their inner demons is one we can do without. Comicbook spiderman once went on a darkside rampage because a villain killed like 30 people. It didn't have to be May. Goblin could have blown up his highschool or killed three random people and it would have been in character for Peter to go ballistic.

Big appreciation for sane Doc Oc. The man is a genius and he loved Peter so much and I'm glad he was there to save the day.

Also, Elektro's costume. Chef's kiss.

But I feel like Sandman had no real motive to do bad guy stuff. He was all, my daughter my daughter, and then suddenly he doesn't care. Sure.

Criticism aside, 10/10 film. I am obsessed. I will probably see it again before it leaves theaters.

life is strange true colours review

the non spoilery part: i LOVED this game, my personal fave game this year and the first franchise entry since the original that has really resonated with or moved me.

it's a life is strange game through and through, so if you don't like slice of life episodes or bonding with NPCs, it's not gonna be for you. but if you like the franchise, or even if you liked the first game but haven't been interested in/liked the other two instalments, i recommend giving this one a chance. i think it got closer to figuring out the formula while still doing something new and interesting.

alex

holy shit i love alex? bisexual chad... my darling... i'm gonna be real, a lot of the trailers and promo for this game made me worried she'd be kind of a dull wallflower Soft Girl character, but she's not! she's so funny, and even parts of her characterization i initially thought were maybe a bit of a stretch ended up making sense as i learned more about her. she stole the show. i straight up forgot how much loving the protag helps enjoyment of these kinds of games lmao ... finally a reason to click on everything in the room: to hear what alex will say about it.

i thought her backstory exploration in ep 5 especially was wonderful and emotive and great. broke my heart and explained so much about her :( baby girl

plot/choices

i loved the mystery. i don't think it was quite as Mysterious as the mystery in lis1, but that was okay, i was still invested in solving it. i also got invested enough in the NPCs around the town to make all the exploration bits really fun. i loved eavesdropping on the sagas of the random NPCs like bald man and ice cream couple... just fun little touches and narratives to follow that i enjoyed.

i really appreciated this script not being afraid to shy away from some messier emotions, even if in some cases i wish we spent more time on them. for example: alex feeling a bit jealous of the other people in town that got to know gabe better than her/spend more time with him than she did. or charlotte hating ethan!!! my jaw dropped, i thought that was so good, what a messy but realistic response.

I'm not entirely sure what all the ramifications of different choices are at this point, fresh off my first play. i ended up getting only part of the council to stand with me (eleanor & duckie) while losing pike and charlotte.

i do wish we saw a bit more fallout or exploration of what taking away emotion DOES. i took charlotte's anger, and obviously it meant she didn't stand up for me in the council meeting, but where does she go from there? does she like... ever return to feeling emotions lmao... I also think we probably should've had the opportunity to do that another time, instead of just 2 isolated events -- I think Diane would've been a good candidate.

the romance

i romanced steph, ofc, but i was surprised during the game how drawn i was to ryan too -- i really liked that Drama of him being the one who cut Gabe free, as well as later the drama of him being Jed's son. UNTIL HE DIDN'T BELIEVE ME... that made me mad lmfao, i have to learn what to do to make him believe me before i play a Ryan route bc i'll kill him lmfao.

the steph/alex romance was sweet... it didn't really, like, Consume Me as a ship, but by the end of the game I was still "aww"ing at their moments in the flashforward. steph was more rounded and flawed than i thought she might be, which i really appreciated! i was worried they'd just make her perfect idealized gf, but she has a bit of a temper and is kind of tempestuous and stuff... liked it. loved her standing up for alex so fiercely and immediately at the council meeting <3 and my main reservation about her in ep 4 was that i wanted alex to stay in haven, so when she offered to stay i was thrilled LOL

one semi-complaint i had was that something i loved so much about lis1 was how max and chloe's relationship was central to the entire game and story, it wasn't some extra thing on the side, it WAS the game... whereas here, the romance routes, especially steph's, felt like sidequests. I wish they'd found a way to incorporate those relationships a bit more into the main goings-on. I also wanted to spend more time with either romance option to feel like I knew them better -- splitting the time between Steph and Ryan means that I came away feeling like I didn't get quite as much of either of them as I would've liked, vs spending almost the entire game with Chloe lol.

however, this ended up not really bothering me too much because I DID really like the core mystery and themes, the exploration of grief and Emotion, etc.

other characters

considering everyone knew going into the game that gabe was going to die, i was impressed with how they did it, and how they managed to get me attached to gabe in a mere single episode. it's a tall order to introduce a character designed to die, who your audience KNOWS is going to die, and still make them work.

i thought this supporting cast was ... maybe the strongest in the franchise? or at least, they created scenarios where i felt invested in multiple people in the town, and was genuinely trying to build decent relationships with most of them. duckie cracked me tf up, i liked eleanor and riley, even diane and jeb were good for their roles. (fuck pike. i signed ur stupid thing and left your emotions alone and you still won't do shit? ACAB!!!) the choice to stay in haven or leave was a little harder than i expected honestly, considering how quickly i let arcadia bay burn to the ground lmfao.

gameplay/etc

also i know the whole internet has been dunking on "empathy" as a super power since the game was announced, and i get that it sounds corny and looks corny in the trailers, but i thought how they did it was really cool. i wish they'd branded it "Mindreading" more than empathy tbh because a lot of the cooler elements of it are more along those lines... using her power to manipulate people, potentially taking people's emotions away and what that does to them... very interesting imo!

i really liked the memory feature!!! cool way to give us character exposition and inform the story while encouraging exploration. finally a collectible that like, expands the story, instead of chloe drawing butts on the wall and sean taking 10 years to draw something.

it's definitely the most evolved-feeling LIS game, which it should be, given it's the newest. graphics looked really nice, loved getting to see the characters actually emote, even if there are still some scenes that were a lil comically blank-faced -- usually NPCs. i actually noticed this with Jed the most, which in retrospect maybe was somewhat intentional?

i had a number of visual glitches, nothing major but a little silly, like T-posing Alex, npcs t-posing in the windows, etc. i'm sure they'll get patched out soon.

anyway... i rly liked this game, i'm excited for the steph dlc and finally feel like i have reason to be optimistic about future LIS instalments. hooray!
