OH MY GOD. SUNNY. ANOTHER BF SEUNGMIN THOUGHT. . . 💭 i feel like if his s/o likes books, he's the type to gift his s/o annotated books. like he'll annotate a brand new book then give it to the s/o. sometimes for random occasions too. he just feels like giving annotated ones are much more thoughtful. i am Thinking so hard rn
VSHWVSJS GOT TO THIS A LITTLE LATER BUT ?!?!???
My mind can't make up a scenario rn but omg he would.
I lied, I will make up a scenario.

Imagine on a random afternoon, he rushes to you with a book in hand and he's just holding it out with a smile.
"I finished it." He hands you the book.
You eye the book, seeing a few sticky notes sticking out, yet it still remained clean. You flip the pages, reading some of his notes.
Some phrases were underlined, circled, one you saw he noted down that it reminded him of you which made you smile.
"I'll read it. Thank you!" You pout for a kiss.
Seungmin watched you pout cutely, amused at your antics. "You're welcome, lovely..." He murmurs before leaning to place a quick kiss on your lips.
Before leaving, he watches you get cozy, the book in your hand. You looked so cute huddled on the couch while the warm light brushes against your skin.
With a triumphant smile, he walks away to find another book to read, maybe even going back to sit with you.
zoro does this thing where he’ll press his cheek against yours when he fucks you in missionary, likes how he can feel flushed he’s made you and how with your mouth so close to his ear he can’t miss any of your gasps and moans <3 it’s totally not because he needs a break from looking at your face cause all the watery eye contact you’re giving him nearly made him cum way too early
I think a lot of people mistake Sunny's resilience and hope in the face of a miserable and bleak scenario as childlike innocence and her not fully comprehending the danger of it all. Her optimism is a response to the pessimistic and nihilistic world around her. She truly believes in the prophecy. It has to work. That's what they've suffered all this time for. Everyone. There will be peace on Pyrrhia and it'll be delivered by her and her friends.
Her own arc in her book, about rising above the expectations placed on her and proving herself as dragon of worth, was foreshadowed a lot with how the DoD treated her. They themselves infantalized her despite being unaware of it. They believed Sunny to be weak and helpless. The little, tiny sister who needs to be protected.
Despite this, she's strong. She's smart, observant, and even Clay mentioned that she's a great fighter because she takes advantage of her small stature and people underestimating her. She isn't childish, but rather she believes that they'll pull through. That they'll bring peace. In the end? They do just that.
Sunny's optimism I feel is a nice breath of fresh air. A lot of protagonists like her go through hell and back and become a lot more jaded. Her? It's her hope for a better future that keeps her going. Even in the darkest of situations, when she should breakdown and succumb to the overwhelming misery of war and tragedy, she. keeps. going. She believes. Despite the cynicism of the DoD, even with Clay at times feeling despondent, she continues. She moves onward. She fights.
And...she wins. Peace is achieved on Pyrrhia. The prophecy came true.
I love over analyzing characters I love picking them apart I love associating lyrics with characters even if it doesn't seem to make sense cause it makes sense to me I love projecting onto characters I love turning characters inside out just to explain one line of dialogue they had and the meaning behind it I love characters
I finally found out why the Laena/Daemon match made me so uncomfortable 😵💫
Are you really going to tell me that a little girl went from this:
To this:
In three years? 🧐🧐🧐
It makes me so upset that hotd makers really casted another actress for Laena making a 16 yo effectively look ‘elder’ and ‘grown up’ and ‘seeking’ Daemon. They’re actively feeding stereotypes about girls of color growing up faster, wanting men’s attention earlier or being ‘more developed’ than their white counterparts. Alicent and Rhaenyra, two characters who are in universe older than Laena, kept their actress after the time lapse.
Laena Velaryon’s age and appearance seems to fluctuate however it’s more convenient for Targaryen men. She’s just a cute kid when Viserys is searching for a wife, making Alicent the ‘more sensible’ choice. She’s a beautiful young woman when Daemon needs to get away from Rhaenyra for a bit. She’s a middle aged woman who’s getting boring when he needs to come back.
Also, why did they change the actress (again!) after the time lapse? Only 12 years passed, at most. And teen!Laena is 16.
Are you really going to tell me she looks 28? Don’t get me wrong, Nanna Blondell is beautiful, but she, as she should, looks her age (37). Laena didn’t need another actress for just an episode, showcase her youth and the tragedy of being a placeholder in Daemon’s life (who, btw, didn’t age a day. I’m starting to think he keeps himself youthful by feeding on little girls.)
Alas, it really bothers me. As a young woman of color, it always pisses me off whenever people find excuses to sexualize woc and especially prey on young girls. It’s even worse when big entertainment companies feed into it.
A redraw of the timeline of Apollo's life I made half a year ago! Sadly for some reason CSP decided to completely delete poor Post-First Punishment Apollo (the fifth one), but luckily I took a picture of it before hand so y'all can see it, even if it's lower quality ;-;. If you want the story behind these designs I dumped like 2000 words about it in my og post, which you can see here!
Some quick addendums I forgot to put in last time + fun design details:
Apollo replaces Helios as the god of the sun after the Trojan War, around 900 B.C.E-ish.
Baby Apollo has horns now! This is a trait he inherited from his titan side and then quickly lost during his battle with Python. It's a nod to his first domain being shepherding as well.
Just to clarify, post-first punishment Apollo goes before post-Daphne Apollo, it's just I couldn't place them in the right order bc csp sucks
The symbol I used on Main Apollo's fabric is called a delphic epsilon! It was used as a symbol for Apollo's temple at Delphi in Ancient Greece and represented a worshiper's initiation into light.
The blue-ish silver ribbon Fall of Greece Apollo has belonged to Artemis. As I stated in my first post, Apollo spends a large amount of time away from Olympus between the fall of greece and his time in Rome, so he kept the ribbon to have something of his sister's in the meantime.
Also for Fall of Greece Apollo, his cloak is fading for two reasons. One, he's spending a lot more time performing his duties as the god of burials, making his role as one of the first bridges between the living and dead much more prominent. The underworld is pulling at him just as much as it is pulling at the casulties of Greece. Two, Apollo is not spending time on Olympus, nor is he actively speaking with any of his worshipers. This is causing belief in him to diminish, so this is the closest he has ever gotten to fading. I swear I will write a whole thing about the period at some point I have so many ideas.
The sheep 2nd punishment Apollo has is a Chios sheep! They are actually native to Greece, and also adorable I love them.
I think that's all for now, I hope you guys like the art!!!
