okay hear me out on this one. i saw this on tiktok yesterday:
and since i’ve been in such a lando mood recently, all i could think about was him and his baby…
so here’s the scenario: lando is a single dad, idk why he split up with the mother of the child but lando is sure he’s never going to find a love like that again, especially now that he has a little daughter to take care of. but seemingly out of nowhere, he meets a woman that he falls completely head over heels for, but yk how when he gets excited about things, he can forget about certain things? yeah, well, he forgets to tell you that he has a child. and then he freaks out because no way are you going to want to raise another woman’s child – but in reality, he’s worrying over nothing because of course you love kids and you’re amazing with them.
and everything moves on so quickly, lando watches his like 8-month old get attached to you instantly and he watches you take such good care of her. and then all of a sudden, his daughter is over a year old and he’s filming you teaching her the alphabet, practically melting because he’s so much in love with you both and he will cherish moments like these forever
#please tell me i’m not the only one who sees this#and like#watching you carrying her around#taking her to preschool#holding her in your arms in the paddock when he’s racing and making sure she doesn’t get scared of the loud cars#and him jumping out of his car after securing a podium finish and running up to his team waiting for him by parc ferme and#coming up to the two of you and just falling in love all over again… seeing his little daughter in your arms and hugging you both#pressing his lips to yours and realizing how lucky he is to have not only the perfect daughter but also such a wonderful woman by his side#okay im spiraling#lando does crazy things to me#oh and lando would be aching to make a new child but one that has your genes too… but that’s another story#lando norris#f1

hey @clickergossip and @becomethesun im thinking about how my preschoolers had a valentines day dance where we had parents come and dance with us to songs that the kids chose. also thinking about how how toddler sarah and ellie would definitely choose the BEST songs
the other kids are choosing songs like let it go, we dont talk about bruno, and pup pup boogie from paw patrol. meanwhile ellie chooses “we belong together” by mariah and sarah’s chooses “at your best (you are love)” by aaliyah
#maybe nobody shows up for ellie because marlene has to work#and so while every kid is dancing and having fun with their parents for the first song joel and sarah notice ellie is alone#and sarah is like daddy can we dance with my best friend no one is dancing with her#and so joel spends the rest of the dance with one in each arm#slow dances with them to aliyah and maria and does a little daddy daughter jig to upbest songs#tommy is there too but as a volunteer because he’s tryna spend as MUCH time at that school as he can#to spend time with a certain preschool teacher with pretty curly locs#so hes serving food and watching ms. maria have fun with the kids and talk with parents and play with the babies that are little siblings#during at your best you are love everyone is slow dancing with their families and not eating#so she comes over and is like ‘take those gloves off and dance with me cowboy’#he drops those tongs so fast and almost knocks over the tray of tamales he and joel brought#they dance over by the paint wall where the parents and kids dont see ;)#i really need to stop doing this in the tags#preschool au#toddler sarah#toddler ellie#tlou au#tlou#joel miller#tommy miller#sarah miller#ellie williams#girldad joel#the millers#maria miller

i'm so bummed i accidentally turned town a job interview for a job where I could have worked with a good friend and mentor 😔
#i was telling her abt the preschool i got hired at and i was like yeah im worried bc the other teacher doesn't seem nice#and the student teacher ratio is really bad they're really understaffed and underfunded im just really worried it will be too much for me#and she was like oh you should apply to the school i work at bc we're hiring snd the ratio is great and the pay might be better also#and i never knew the name of the school she worked at until then#and its one i DID apply to but i told them nevermind after this one hired me 😬#but now i really wish i'd taken that interview#i'm going to call or email first thing on monday tho and hopefullyyy i can get in for an interview before i start my new job on thursday#so i wont literally have to take time off for it#and then if they offer me i will be able to tell the new job nevermind while its still early#either that or i'll try to stick it out a few months then apply to the other one for summer or something#but im not sure whether its best to quit immediately or let them think im dependable and staying then leave in three months lol#but mostly for the other job idk if it would ruin the opportunity to tell them nevermind i want the job a week after i said no#compared to a few months later#they might have forgotten me by then which would probably be good#idkkk#my first reference literally works there which will hopefully help and maybe they'll give me a break#the pay scale looks the same as the one i just accepted but i think they'll offer less bc they're not as desperate#but i literally dont care its such a better working environment#and the pay scale is the same so they would give me a raise after a few months#and the work will be so much easier#and the commute#and i Definitely know i can work with my friend#vs the co teacher at this new job who seems really intense and unfriendly#anyway!!#im really anxious abt this new job and i'll stay if the other place wont take me now#but i really hope they give me another chance#also its super close and easy drive and the commute for the other one scares me a bit lol#this has been a shitpost

Just saw a lady on my fyp talking about “red flags she saw at a daycare center” and all of the comments are early education teachers roasting her 💀
#‘I want the daycare I go to have a requirement of taking the kids to the park’ k ma’am majority of these daycares are in cities-#like we have fenced in playgrounds/outdoor spaces for a reason#even one comment was like ‘I would not want my daycare bringing kids to a park’#and then she got upset that they didn’t like encourage math or learning to read#and like while we do let the kiddos look at books and of course they ask questions about words or what’s going on in the book#and we always read to them. it’s not developmentally appropriate for us to teach them to read. like even our preK teachers do SOME but-#nothing like the school system because it’s not appropriate#like her BABY isn’t even a toddler wtf are you on about#and I actually do math with my students (who are toddlers/early preschoolers)#no were not doing equations or learning how to add numbers together#however we are constantly counting. we are constantly sorting. we are constantly making patterns.#like I’m sorry you want your infant to do equations that’s not what we do in a daycare#find a nanny

#methinks it is time to chew the walls in my enclosure#rambling#im very bad at sleeping alone and i dont even know how many nights shes gonna be gone :(#if she told me before then i forgot it but last night i tried to ask her and she just jokingly said she was never coming back#but then didnt give me the actual answer afterwards#i texted her this morning to ask but shes been so busy setting up her show that she hasnt had time to respond ig :(#i have class in less than five hours but I've been up this whole time stress cleaning 😭#i wish i could have someone over but my qpp has her sun this week and has to get up to take him to preschool and go to work really early#like the same time in usually falling asleep#and my other qpp and friends live two hours away :(#i just don't like being alone at night my brain gets bad :(#before my gf moved in with me i would have sleepovers with my friends as often as possible specially because of that#it made me feel safe and distracted me from the bad thoughts and helped me sleep better#there was a while where my qpp was staying the night with me literally almost every night#i haven't had to worry about sleeping alone for the past 3+ years that my gf and i have lived together#maybe i SHOULD chew wires to cope#edit: there are so many typos but I'm not retyping all of those tags im too tired for this#I'm gonna try to go to sleep now

I’m literally so tired I don’t wanna go to work again rn
#the kid I work with three to four times a week has been like just giving me a hard time#and apparently none of my coworkers who work w them are having any issues and I’m like…. super sus about it#bc we’ll do puzzles (which i see from schedules they make w the kiddo they do too)#and they’ll cry when I say we have a minute left still of puzzle time#idk like it’s not adding up#I’ve done everything according to my supervisors notes and I’ve made activities super fun and we run around and play and do that colorful#parachute that you do in like preschool and elementary school#yet they still cry whether it be bc I said we have to be slow around corners when we run so we don’t get hurt#or no taking parachute on a ramp/slide thing we have bc it’s too slippery and dangerous#or saying we have to wait to open the paint bottles til we’re back at the table so they don’t spill#etc etc etc#and whenever I shut down an option I give them another one that’s equally fun and they cry#yet my coworkers somehow give the kiddo the same choices and they have no issue at all#I’m so confused#even the new girl who got hired a month after me has nothing in her notes#I feel insane truly#personal

one of my more strange and specific beefs with people is bitches with young parents. if you havent been actively a little worried about alzheimer's/dementia in your parents before the age of like 30 then we are disconnected in a huge way. "you have to kind of take over the family when your parents turn 60" yeah i get that youll be like 40 by then but ill be 21. its super cool that youre close to your grandparents, mine are dead or 85 and declining in a way that makes it hard to talk to them.
