The strike was carried out by two MGM-140 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles. The first blow hit the positions of the S-400 Triumph air defense system. 3 launchers and radar were destroyed.
P.S. Only VERY BIG FOOLS BUY Russian weapons and believe Kremlin propaganda..., but even bigger fools are those who do not give Ukraine modern long-range weapons...!!! The West actually has everything it needs to effectively stop Russian aggression and punish Russian war criminals...!!!

jeff smith:  'The quickness of the hand deceives the eye'. Kudos guys !. Magicians keep it secret. hahahaha  BOOM !
Dennis Kali:  That's great do not show the Russians your hand.  When they are hit from long distances, surprise will be on the Ukrainians side.
Tumblr media
James Street:  Whatever missiles Ukraine used to hit the air base in Crimea, don't let it be known. Just keep hitting Russian ammo dumps and bases and they will start to freak out, afraid that a missile could hit them at any second.
Markus Bracey:  Ukrine said, JUST GIVE US SOME WEAPONS TO FIGHT BACK. — Results.
Tumblr media
Oveida Sinclair:  If Ukraine can have their new ballistic missile GPS guided, it will be yet another game changer.  This missile can attack any place inside, or outside of Russia they care to shoot it at like the Crimea Bridge, Bolshevik ammo depots inside Russia, Russian railroad bridges, or rail yards when coordinated when munition trains are passing through.
Tumblr media
Detroit Micro Sound:  Ukraine is now using ATACMS, in the M142/M270.  HIMARS can operate from the deck if a moving ship, in the middle of the Black Sea. It can also reliably drive 480km on a single tank of fuel.

robert brooks:  Make History?! A 1000 armed drone air force takes off every night stalking the Ukrainian sky looking for the Russian prey sleeping. Like vampires searching for their next victim. What would happen to the Russians? Could they withstand a 1000 drone assault night after night? Donate those drones and lets find out! Glory to Ukraine!
Tumblr media
Richard Murphy:  Don't you think UKRAINE is using the weapons RUSSIA LEAVES BEHIND when they FLEE FOR THEIR LIVES… Cause I would do that...
ysbee:  That's must be the case! No wonder, Zelensky hasn't mentioned about the weapons for Crimea and Kherson. Thank you Mr BINGO!

In 1991 Ukraine had:
- 1 million soldiers in its army
- 6500 tanks
- nuclear weapons: 176 intercontinental ballistic missiles, 2156 strategic nuclear missiles, 4200 tactical nuclear missiles
- 1500 fighter aircrafts, including 43 strategic bombers for firing those intercontinental nuclear missiles🙂
It seems ludicrous now, but in 1991, Ukraine was the most powerful army in Europe.
Until the US and Europe decided that all that shit is better off in Russia's hands or destroyed.
Anyone telling you the West owes Ukraine nothing? This should be your reaction:

Shame on you, USA Today!
This is the shoddiest piece of "journalism" I have ever seen. @usatoday
Examples (emphasis mine):
"Explosions were heard in Iran after Israel launched missile strikes in retaliation for a barrage of more than 300 drones and missiles fired by Tehran over the weekend..."
"It was unclear what targets had been hit inside Iran. Iran's weekend swarm of munitions and Israel's response marked the first direct exchanges of fire between the regional arch-enemies."
"Israel, the U.S. and other regional and Western allies joined forces on Saturday to blast hundreds of Iranian drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles out of the sky after they were fired at Israel."
"That attack was itself an act of retaliation after Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khameni, blamed Israel for an airstrike on the Iranian embassy compound in Damascus, Syria, that killed several people including a leading Revolutionary Guards commander."
"Officials have been on edge about the possibility of a regional war since the Palestinian militant group Hamas rampaged across southern Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 and taking more than 200 people hostage. More than 30,000 Palestinians have died in the ensuing six months in Israeli airstrikes and ground fire, according to the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry."
Language -- and how you use it -- matters, dammit.
It matters what words you use to describe an action. The word you choose tells the reader context clues about what is an acceptable action and what is not. It influences viewpoints about what you are reporting on. Using words and phrases like "barrage" and "swarm of munitions" while painting Israel's actions as a simple "response" without context is a gross manipulation tactic.
It is a gross manipulation tactic to paint the actions of "Israel, the U.S. and other regional and Western allies" as this heroic and epic fantasy where they "joined forces" and "blasted" enemy fire "out of the sky" after they were "fired at Israel." Why did they fire at Israel? Go on, you reported on it. Despite the fact that this linked article features the same shameful use of deliberate word choices to manipulate your readers, you even quoted the Iranian ambassador Hossein Akbari saying that the Iranian response would be "the same magnitude and harshness." Is that not what the terrible "barrage" of missiles and drones fired over the weekend was? Surely, you will bring this up in the article.
"The attack was itself an act of retaliation..." Great, we are going to mention that Israel attacked Iran first. "... after Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khameni, blamed Israel for an airstrike on the Iranian embassy compound in Damascus, Syria." What the fuck. Not only do you then continue on to diminish the lives lost in that airstrike using word choices like "killed several people" and then highlighting one's military connections. It is a blatant manipulation tactic to frame Israel's attack as retaliatory due to an accusation of violence that only "killed several people." Fuck you for diminishing the lives of those in the Middle East living this fucking war/nightmare. Fuck you.
And then, to add insult to injury, you use more inflammatory language to associate Palestinians with a "militant group" called Hamas that "rampaged across southern Israel on Oct. 7." Is Hamas a part of local authority in Gaza? Yes. But painting Palestinians in broad brush strokes with that tone and word association is extremely dangerous and damaging. It's almost similar to how Israeli propaganda speaks about Palestinians...
You then discredit any reporting about the "self defense" that Israel has visited on Gaza and Palestine in the 6 months since October. You do this by stating that the shocking idea of "30,000 Palestinian deaths" (which has already been reported on by far more reputable news sources... though they have their own faults) is the reported deaths by the "Hamas-run Gaza health ministry." Since you have already done the job of describing Hamas as a "militant group" that "rampages" across Israel, do you think that associating the most reliable death count with the "enemy" isn't a disgusting manipulation tactic that belittles and diminishes the very real genocide happening against the Palestinians? Caused by their occupier, Israel?
You aren't news or journalism like you frame yourself to be through your website layout, articles, and tv shows. You are propaganda, bought and paid for by the Israeli occupation. You are on the wrong side of history.
I hope that you and the Western media that have used similar tactics are used in future journalism classes at universities and colleges around the world. I hope you are used as an example of terrible, bad reporting informed only by biases and internal memos telling you what to say. I am disgusted.
Fuck Israel. Fuck the IOF. Fuck Western media.

I do keep seeing posts that say "whys Joe even funding Israel except that he loves Genocide" or "Why is there discussion of leaving NATO in the senate survey" and like. Here. Let me explain this to you. (DISCLAIMER: I hate Joe Biden I'm just doing this because understanding your opponents motivations makes it so you can more effectively fight them)
When you're President, issues are not just single simple issues. Theres a shitton of moving parts, and he cant be obvious about his awareness of all these parts for transparency's sake because that also gives his enemies (which would include those of us who want Both Parties Gone) an upper hand. Joe Biden views Israel as a necessary US base of operation in the middle east to defend the USA in case of an attack by China and (more pressing lately) Russia.
See, with Russia attacking Ukraine, Ukraine is thinking of joining NATO as a means of better defending itself. They've been talking about it for ages but really started getting the ball rolling when Putin attacked. NATO is a treaty organization which, if Ukraine does join, all the other members of NATO would be forced to come to its aid (i.e., literally all of them would be considered At War With Russia). On top of this, Russia has strong allies with a lot of anti-USA powers, including China. I wouldnt even be surprised if North Korea shows up. If this is starting to ring bells relating to the world wars in history class, good, because thats exactly what this scenario would entail. Another, open world war. Yes people scream 'world war 3' over the tiniest provocation but its just as foolish to claim its impossible. Add in that Putin has said he will gladly use nukes if he has to, and...well. you can put two and two together. It wont be a pretty picture.
Anyways, the middle east is, and has been, a central point in our proxy wars against Russia for ages. This is both because of the resources (oil) there, as well as its potential as a strong base of defense for the west against the east. Israel in particular is USA's biggest military defense resource, as they have a shit-ton of anti-ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) capabilities. Simply put, they serve as a bulwark against the forces of the east. They're also one of the biggest deterrants against all-out world war; because if anyone DOES try to send a nuke out west, we'll just blow it up before it hits us and then have Israel nuke them back, with far less time to defend.
So lets put ourselves in Joe's shoes knowing all of this. It starts to feel a bit like he HAS to keep giving Israel what they want in order to prevent world war 3 and/or nuclear holocaust, huh? This should also clarify why he said "If there were not an Israel in the middle east we would have to make one", and why he reportedly is very upset with all the Palestinean death yet still gives Israel weapons. Its a shitty appeasement tactic with an eye on global politics. (Side note: astute readers may also note that the actions regarding China are part of this, including the tik tok ban. They are correct.)
But does this make his actions correct? Fuck no. As many have noted Israel wouldnt even be able to continue existing without assistance from America, and Israel would likely be the first place to be destroyed by Russia if they seek to win, if it were weakened sufficiently. Meaning Joe could EASILY turn the tables on Israel and threaten to (or actually) cut them off and say "Fine, if you want to go that way then enjoy the hellfire that comes for us all, chuck." He could also decide to start rebuilding relations with China despite our differences, and therefore deprive Russia of allies in the world war 3 scenario. He could also build up these same defense systems in another middle eastern allied country (which I'd be against because colonialism is part of the problem). And that's simply taking it from the perspective of Joe, I, personally, do not think that America should remain in its current form. It has far more blood on its hands than just the Palestinean blood, and its destruction (preferably without nukes) could allow better things to take root.
Anyways, like I said, this is so that we might better defeat our enemies, so if you're wondering what the implications here are, I'd say start getting involved in politics at a local level. Not just protests, go to city council meetings! Its mostly boring stuff but once you get a hold on what it all means (and you will!) You'll start to see ways to shift the American culture away from this war-dependent fascistic society which has been surging so terrifyingly. You will start to see the glimmers of hope which shine through the sludge that it is American Politics.
Anyways if someone says this is a pro-Biden post im going to stab you with a million knives.

Leaked documents indicate Russia's threshold for employing tactical nuclear weapons is significantly lower than previously thought, according to a new report. The Russian Navy losing a fifth of its ballistic missile submarines or even three cruisers might be enough to trigger such a response. The documents also point to continued Russian planning around a potential conflict with China, despite the strengthening of relations between the two countries in recent decades.
I feel 3 Russian cruisers could just catch fire and sink on their own.

Out of 8 billion people on the planet, there are only 16 million Jews—but far, far more anti-Semites. I sometimes joke that if I had fewer scruples, I wouldn’t report on anti-Jewish prejudice; I’d contract myself out to the more numerous and better-resourced bigots, and help them get away with it. Because in more than a decade covering anti-Semitism, I have become a reluctant expert in all the ways that anti-Jewish activists obfuscate their hate.
People must learn to recognize and reject these tactics, because too many communities have developed ways to excuse or otherwise ignore anti-Semitism. Today, such prejudice is growing in high and low places because powerful people around the world are running the same playbook to launder their hate into the public sphere.
Here’s how they do it:
1. They become too big to fail. Over the past six months, Elon Musk has publicly affirmed the deadliest anti-Semitic conspiracy theory in recent American history, claimed that Jews and Jewish organizations cause anti-Semitism, and echoed extremist conspiracy theories about the Jewish financier George Soros. As a result, the billionaire has lost a few advertisers on his social-media platform, and even got rapped by the White House. But as The New York Times reported, even as the U.S. government criticized Musk, it continued to buy things from him.
In fact, in recent months, Musk has raked in Pentagon cash, including more than $1 billion in exchange for launching spy satellites and other intelligence assets into orbit through his lucrative space-exploration venture, SpaceX. In September, days after Musk attacked the Anti-Defamation League and suggested that Jews cause anti-Semitism, he met with a bipartisan group of senators to discuss artificial intelligence. The magnate subsequently signed a deal worth up to $70 million to provide the U.S. government with a secure satellite communications system. “Rarely has the U.S. government so depended on the technology provided by a single technologist,” the Times wrote. Meanwhile, diverse actors ranging from the ADL to Representative Ilhan Omar keep advertising on Musk’s social-media site, his rich friends continue to defend him, and, last week, he was featured at a Times event.
Musk has similarly been wooed by Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli government, who—like Ukraine’s leadership—want to stay on the entrepreneur’s good side so that he doesn’t use technology like his Starlink satellite internet to harm their war efforts. Precisely because Musk plays a leading role in so many industries that are essential to humanity’s future—electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, space technology—no country can quit him, not even one as powerful as the United States or as Jewish as Israel. Likewise, no matter how many dinners Donald Trump has with anti-Semites such as Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Holocaust deniers such as Nick Fuentes, he will not be penalized for it by Republicans, because he is too essential to their party to be discarded.
This characteristic is what separates the big-league bigots who get away with it from those who don’t. Ye’s mistake was that he invested his talents in producing music and sneakers rather than something more indispensable to human flourishing, such as precision-guided ballistic missiles.
2. They don’t say the quiet part out loud. Those who want to fulminate about the Jews but lack the singular clout of Elon Musk still have plenty of options. They just need to be slightly more subtle about their prejudice. Take Tucker Carlson, once the most-watched man on cable news, who used his show to popularize a sanitized version of the same “Great Replacement” theory that Musk recently endorsed, which posits that Jewish elites are plotting to supplant the white race through the mass immigration of brown people. This white-supremacist fantasy motivated the 2018 massacre of worshippers at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue, among other recent attacks. How did Carlson get such an unhinged idea on television? He repeated the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory—“They’re trying to change the population of the United States, and they hate it when you say that because it’s true, but that’s exactly what they’re doing”—but left out the word Jews and let the audience fill in the blank.
This time-honored technique provides even the most pointed prejudice with plausible deniability. In particular, whenever you see politicians or celebrities darkly ruminating about an amorphous “they” covertly controlling events, chances are good that you are seeing this strategy in action. Consider Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has led Turkey, a member of NATO, since 2003. In 2014, he began darkly referring to a “mastermind” behind the country’s ills:
Don’t be misled. Don’t think that these operations are against my persona, our government, our party. Friends, these operations are rather directed against Turkey itself—its unity, its peace, its economy, its independence. And as I have said before, behind all these steps there is a mastermind. People ask me, “Who is this mastermind?” Well, you have to figure that out. And actually, you know what it is.
Erdoğan was not talking about the Amish. His allies subsequently produced a movie titled The Mastermind, which aired on pro-government TV stations and helpfully opened with an image of a Star of David. “At every stage,” the Turkish commentator Mustafa Akyol wrote at the time, “the film reminds us how the Judaic ‘mastermind’ has oppressed humanity for thousands of years.” As Erdoğan has consolidated his essentially unchecked power, he has become more forthright in his anti-Semitism, and faced no international consequences.
3. They replace Jew with Zionist. In 1934, Representative Louis McFadden of Pennsylvania took to the floor of Congress to complain about Jewish control of the American financial system. “Is it not true,” he bemoaned, “that, in the United States today, the gentiles have the slips of paper while the Jews have the gold?” Today, this sort of rhetoric is frowned upon in polite society, but aspiring anti-Semites have a work-around: substituting each instance of Jews with Zionists or Israelis. Then: The Jews control the world. Now: The Zionists control the world.
With this simple switch, prejudice magically becomes mere criticism of Israel. Social-media companies won’t moderate it, and many activists will defend it. People can even make their anti-Semitic argument live on CNN, as Pakistan’s foreign minister did in 2021, when he claimed that Israel controls the media. In this manner, an ancient conspiracy theory is updated to appeal to partisans in the 21st century, many of whom will insist that they don’t have an anti-Semitic bone in their body. Of course, Zionism warrants critique like any other political ideology, but conspiracism is not criticism. This is what Martin Luther King Jr. was referring to when he said, “When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You’re talking anti-Semitism.”
One person who has mastered this maneuver is the supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, the man responsible for the most anti-Jewish violence in the world today. In 2021, he posted on social media: “The Zionists have always been a plague, even before establishing the fraudulent Zionist regime. Even then, Zionist capitalists were a plague for the whole world. Now they’re a plague especially for the world of Islam.”
In case the references to rapacious capitalists and comparisons of people to disease didn’t give it away, Khamenei was also not talking about the Amish. He was taking garden-variety anti-Semitism, replacing the word Jews with Zionists, and relying on his audience being too dense or partisan to care. Similarly, when the Republican politician Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia posted a video on her Facebook page declaring that “Zionist supremacists” were “breeding us out of existence in our own homelands,” she was drawing from the same poisoned well. Coded language has always served to smuggle bigotry into the public discourse, and anti-Semitism is no exception.
4. They say they were just “supporting Palestine.” Earlier this month, the actor Susan Sarandon was dropped by her talent agency. It was a mostly symbolic gesture, because the celebrated performer continues to get work and others will be happy to represent her. But almost immediately, viral posts on social media viewed more than 50 million times claimed that she had been punished for her pro-Palestinian advocacy. This popular narrative had only one small flaw: It was false.
As Deadline reported, the words that got Sarandon in trouble were not about Palestinians or Israelis. At a rally in New York, home to the largest Jewish population outside Israel, the actor referred to rising anti-Semitism in America and declared, “There are a lot of people that are afraid, afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country.” In reality, since the FBI began tracking hate crimes, Jews have been subjected to more anti-religious attacks than all other groups combined, despite constituting just 2 percent of the American population. This includes the massacre at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue, multiple synagogue shootings in California, and a Texas congregation being taken hostage in 2022. Erasing anti-Semitism and attempting to pit American Jews and Muslims against each other in some sort of debased oppression Olympics is not “support for Palestine.” It’s ignorance at best and malice at worst, which is why Deadline accurately headlined its story “UTA Drops Susan Sarandon as Client Following Recent Antisemitic Remarks She Made at a Rally in New York.”
On social media, none of this mattered. Sarandon was misleadingly cast as a martyr for the Palestinian cause and celebrated by a diverse array of notables, including the journalist Glenn Greenwald, the presidential candidate Cornel West, several prominent progressive activists, and even the head of a human-rights group. None of these people linked to or acknowledged the actual substance of Sarandon’s remarks, even when confronted by commenters who raised them. None has corrected their claims.
Sarandon apologized on Friday, two weeks after her original statement. But the sleight of hand others used to defend her—in which apologetics for anti-Jewish violence are disingenuously recast as Palestinian advocacy—is endemic to our current discourse. Last month, an activist told a public-radio journalist that he’d been receiving “50 hate calls an hour” over a pro-Palestinian speech he delivered at an October 8 rally. But what he actually did was explicitly cheer the murder of civilians and declare, “I salute Hamas—a job well done.” This fact appeared nowhere in the published story, which said only that he “spoke in support of Palestine.”
Pro-Palestinian activism is not the same as anti-Semitism, which is why it’s important that when people say bigoted things about Jews or support violence against them, their words should not be conflated with Palestinian advocacy. But unfortunately, too many anti-Semites wrap themselves in the Palestinian cause, and too many partisans are happy to let them do so. This does not help any Palestinians, as it tends to tar their cause with prejudice, but it does insulate a fair number of anti-Semites from the consequences of their words or actions. That’s why in recent weeks, many bigots have attempted to use the Palestinian plight as their alibi, vandalizing Jewish institutions around the world, including synagogues and kosher restaurants, with “Free Palestine” and related slogans.
Every community has biases—toward the rich and powerful, toward ideological allies—that lead it to excuse bad behavior it would otherwise repudiate. But such excuses for prejudice work only because we allow them to. Covert anti-Semitism tends to turn into overt anti-Semitism. Until we start seriously confronting the former, we can expect more of the latter.

“Russian war crimes in Ukraine continue apace. An AP report began, ‘A Russian missile attack killed a ten-year-old boy and his grandmother Friday in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.’ The report went on to include a haunting detail: ‘Associated Press reporters saw emergency crews pulling the boy’s body from the rubble of a building after the early morning attack. He was wearing pajamas with a Spider-Man design.’ The United States has now supplied Ukraine with long-range tactical ballistic missiles. ‘Today I express special gratitude to the United States,’ said Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s president, adding that the missiles had already ‘proven themselves.’ For approximately a year and a half, the United States has been aiding the Ukrainians with money and matériel. Neither American nor NATO blood has been shed. If Putin conquers Ukraine, the cost to all of us will almost certainly go up.”

Commanders and advisors from Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are on the ground in Yemen and playing a direct role in Houthi rebel attacks on commercial traffic in the Red Sea. The IRGC has stationed missile and drone trainers and operators in Yemen, as well as personnel providing tactical intelligence support to the Houthis, U.S. and Middle East officials told Semafor. The IRGC, through its overseas Qods Force, has also overseen the transfer to the Houthis of the attack drones, cruise missiles, and medium-range ballistic missiles used in a string of strikes on Red Sea and Israeli targets in recent weeks, these officials said
Would you look at that! The US fucked around and now they're finding out.
I mean, I'm not a fan of the Iranian government. I haven't forgotten what they do to women, and the only reason the internet doesn't know what's going on with the Women Life Freedom movement is because Iran is suppressing posts. So I'm not heroizing them.
But I am saying I blame the US for this escalation.
The US and Israel bomb Palestine, Lebanon, and Syra.
The Houthis start attacking ships, making one demand: the genocide and blockade end. We can debate until we're blue in the face whether that is their true motive; certainly, they're not fine, upstanding people. But we ultimately don't know if it was their true motive because the only way to find out would have been to see if the attacks stopped after the end of the genocide.
But instead, the US and Israel keep committing genocide, and the UK joins the US in bombing Yemen.
Now Iran has sent military support.
It's all the US's fault.

Events in Israel and Gaza have overshadowed news of Ukrainian progress in driving out Russian invaders.
Ukraine used M39 Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) missiles provided by the US for the first time against two targets in Ukraine occupied by Putin's forces. One of those targets was an airfield in Berdyansk on the coast of the Sea of Azov.
The result was “one of the most serious strikes of all time” in Russia’s 21-month wider war on Ukraine, according to Fighterbomber, a popular Russian Telegram channel. The Ukrainian military claimed it destroyed a combined nine helicopters in the Berdyansk attack and a simultaneous raid on a facility in Luhansk, farther to the east. Ukrainian analysis team Frontelligence Insight compared high-resolution Planet Labs satellite imagery from September with lower-resolution imagery from Wednesday broadly to confirm the military’s claim. Frontelligence Insight scrutinized imagery from Sept. 29 and pinpointed four Kamov Ka-52 and one Mil Mi-24 helicopters parked on the northern apron at the Berdyansk base. The group then scrutinized imagery from Oct. 17—and found scorch marks where those five helicopters should have been.
Here's how ATACMS work.
The M39 Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS, is a two-ton, 13-foot ballistic missile with a solid rocket motor and a warhead containing 950 grenade-size submunitions. Fired by a tracked or wheeled launcher, the 1990s-vintage missile ranges as far as 100 miles under inertial guidance. An M39 usually should strike within 50 yards or so of its aim-point. This isn’t super-accurate by modern standards, but it’s accurate enough considering that the M39 is an area weapon.
Why the attack on Berdyansk is important.
And now the Russians must make some difficult choices in order to protect their surviving rotorcraft from follow-on ATACMS raids. “The impact of this devastating attack is undeniable,” Frontelligence Insight noted. “It will likely disrupt helicopter operations in the south of Ukraine for some time, compelling the Russians to adjust their logistics and the operations of nearby helicopter bases.”
Russia can no longer count on distance to keep its helicopters safe. Not being able to use helicopters reliably will hurt its operations as Ukrainian forces gradually push south to cut off occupied Crimea by land from Russia.
youtube
Wars don't go away because other wars break out or because people in third countries get bored with them. Putin has no fucking business in Ukraine and his invasion is a direct threat to the eastern flank of America's NATO allies.

US quickly updated Israeli F-35s after the Hamas attack
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 12/15/2023 - 12:00 in Military, War Zones
The United States accelerated capacity updates for Israel's F-35I Adir fighters after the Hamas attack on October 7, the main officer in charge of the Joint Strike Fighter program said this week.
Lieutenant General Michael Schmidt, executive officer of the F-35 program, refused to identify to reporters the capabilities sent to Israel in the more than two months after the attack, noting that the program strives to keep all nations flying the jet supplied with spare parts and capabilities.
Tumblr media
But speaking to reporters after a hearing before the House Air and Land Tactical Forces Subcommittee, Schmidt confirmed that the improvements made to Israel occurred after the deadly Hamas attack that killed at least 1,200 people. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that more than 18,000 people died as a result of subsequent Israeli air and ground attacks in the Gaza Strip.
Bill LaPlante, U.S. Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Support, said at the hearing that the F-35 program was recently able to quickly send updated mission data files to a country in a week or a week and a half. Schmidt confirmed after the hearing that LaPlante was referring to Israel.
The mission data files are a "brich", as LaPlante described them, containing the jet's memory about the threats it can encounter in an operation and other information necessary for combat.
Tumblr media
The F-35 program “is not yet where it should be in these mission data files,” LaPlante said. But the recent rapid update of these files is a good sign, he added, and the lessons learned from it will be used throughout the program.
LaPlante said in written comments that Israel has 35 of its 39 F-35s operating and carrying out missions, with the help of an increase in support support to maximize the readiness of the country's aircraft.
The chairman of the subcommittee, Rep. Rob Wittman, a Republican from Virginia, said at Tuesday's hearing that the F-35 Joint Program Office "moved at a dizzying speed" to support Israel, accelerating the weapon capabilities of its jets and increasing the flow of spare parts.

Schmidt told lawmakers that Israel's F-35s had an "absolutely remarkable" performance in the war to eliminate Hamas, with high rates of aircraft capable of carrying out their missions.
"We added some capabilities to this plane in a very short period of time," he said. "Our team is doing everything they can to keep moving forward with the product."

Footage of Ukrainian forces launching six US-supplied MGM-140 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles at Dzhankoi Airbase in Russian-occupied Crimea. Ukrainian forces reportedly destroyed 4 S-400 TELs, a command post, 3 radars, and a Fundament-M air surveillance system.

Trick or treeeaat!!!

Here you are, a ZiL-135! Though best known as the TEL vehicle for the Luna ballistic missile, I think I would get in trouble with some very angry international regulatory bodies if I gave out tactical ballistic missiles! So, instead, enjoy a durable eight-wheel truck with plenty of bed space for your halloween haul ;)

Okay but Mami is insanely strong and low key kinda broken when you actually think about it
Not counting Madoka (who is an outlier power wise because of time loop shenanigans) Mami is probably the strongest member of the Holy Quintet and one of the strongest magical girls we’ve seen full stop, being both incredibly powerful and highly competent/tactical
Tumblr media
To start with the fact that Mami’s muskets aren’t summoned weapons like with Sayaka’s sword or Kyoko’s spear, but instead are made out of her ribbons not only shows Mami’s sheer dexterity and precision with her ribbon manipulation but also just how creative she is, for Madokami’s sake the girl literal got ribbon magic and just went ‘you know what would be cool to make out of this muskets’
Tumblr media
Speaking of which Mami’s muskets have some frankly absurd firepower with her volume of fire ranging from average bullet hell game to almost enough dakka
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Destruction wise her Trio Finale is basically a ballistic missile she can summon which is powerful enough to easily kill witches in a single shot or level buildings if she wanted, seriously in the Magica Record anime after she transforms into Holy Mami it takes everything Sayaka has just to deflect one of Mami’s Trio Finale (after getting her arms blow off trying to block it) and the resulting explosion is absolutely massive
Tumblr media
Mami is also a very experienced fighter being a veteran magical girl with years of experience fighting witches and the occasional other magical girl giving her incredible awareness and instinct in battle
Tumblr media
Even in a smarts/tactical sense Mami is pretty incredible not only using her ribbons in a variety of ways to give herself the edge such as swinging around to increase her mobility or restraining/binding her opponents but also how in Rebellion she managed to both work out a strategy to counter Homura’s time-stop and stealthy attach a ribbon to Homura without her noticing
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So yeah basically Mami is actually a beast, what an absolute queen.
Oh, and she looks elegant and graceful as hell while being a badass.
