“I took a very loose approach to the film. I wanted there to be something spontaneous about it; something authentic and true to life. It just felt like if I forced them into one thing, it would be like the air got sucked out of the room. It would just feel stale and stilted. I didn’t want that; I wanted it to be very organic and alive. Mike Faist and Jessica Hecht – there was a lot of room and we had a lot of takes where we had just gone through the script and talked deeply about the characters and the story. But then, once we had that foundation, we had the freedom to then wander off in a really exciting way. We did a lot of takes where Mike and Jessica knew what the purpose of the scene was narratively. But then, they weren’t tied down to a specific line of dialogue or anything like that. They just acted off of each other and worked together. We did a lot of scenes where I would tell Mike and Jessica to just surprise me. They both consistently shocked me with the things they would think of spontaneously. That was the most exciting part! And a lot of times, it was those takes that ended up in the film. Just because they felt so organic, real and natural.”

You know that episode of Friends when Ross is looking at Carol’s and Susan’s bookshelf, and he says “wow you have a lot of books about being a lesbian!” and Susan replies “yeah, you have to take a test or they don’t let you do it”?

I would like to know what books they had on their shelf.

So I just remembered some episodes from Friends that includes Carol & Susan and....Not gonna lie I really don't like them.

The show's laugh track kept me from realizing how messed up their situation with Ross was when I first watched. I now completely understand why Ross didn't want anything to do with their wedding, I'm honestly mad that his friends were trying to push him to be involved after what Carol did to him. Seriously, why the heck would you want your friend to go and watch his ex marry the person that she cheated on him with?

I'm 97% sure she cheated on him with Susan, in 3x6 it was heavily implied, and in 3x17 when Carol criticized Ross for cheating on Rachel he called her out for being a hypocrite on that matter.

Ross was right, if Susan was a guy, no one would have been pushing him to go to the wedding. Now I get why he had so much trouble trusting Rachel when it came to Mark.

Don't even get me started on how Susan wanted Ben to have *her* last name...Or how his friends would constantly taunt him about his marriage with Carol.

I think chandler bing was supposed to be gay, but friends became so successful, the creators decided not to make him gay fearing losing viewers.

Susan in episode nine is still hilarious "You have to take a course otherwise they won't let you do it"
