Hi!! I was wondering if you could write this scenario with John dory and pop/rock troll reader?
I've had this one scenario playing in my head for days! Poppy and the other rulers, wanting a day of celebrating each other's music, made a contest where a troll/Bergen/(whatever Vaneer and velvet are?) can come and sings for a crowd and the rulers as the judges decided who win. Brozone (mostly John) decided to participate for fun. After brozones song, John and the others join the crowd to watch the next singer, which is the pop/rock troll. John knows her from his adventuring days, she’s the one who got away, aka his true love. (idk why we might've left, maybe they were separated somehow)
John is immediately dumbfounded - because she's right there! After all these years! His brothers, not knowing their past, immediately start making fun of him for liking her as she began to sing on stage. Immediately, even alone, she's seems to wow the crowd even more than any of the previous songs.
As soon as she's done, John rushes back behindstage to meet her, his brothers + Poppy and Viva, all rushing after him. Reader greets John so happily, all the others are kinda… shocked? Even more so if reader decides to kiss John in greeting.

For a Hatchday surprise, his siblings' signed BroZone up for Trollstopia's 3rd Annual Cultural Fair. Anyone and everyone could sign up to perform in the talent show, but everything else was a totally free for all: The games, the different events, even the food(honestly, John Dory had no idea how Pop Trolls survive strictly on sweets, there was such a thing as too much sweets.) BroZone and the two Queens laughed and enjoyed each other as they tried different foods...although, John wasn't amused at the Rock Trolls' tiny replica of volcanic dumplings...wayy too hot.
Unfortunately the band couldn't decide on a song as usual, so they each picked a song from the year 2012, and decided to do a medley.

The siblings' cheered and clapped themselves on their back as they walked off stage from the cheering crowd when John Dory heard her.

Pausing from where he was walking, the teal haired Troll turned around sharply as he watched a Troll wearing a midnight blue sundress dance around on stage, he could even see a yellow sunflower tucked behind her left ear.
"Come on, baby, let me see your face." He pleaded softly, staring intensely, not noticing his siblings', and the magenta eyed Trolls then walked over to where John was still frozen watching the performer dance.
"Oooh, JD's got a crush on (Y/N)!" Poppy teased, the other Trolls snickering, as they then started to make teasing remarks.
"When's the wedding?" Clay cackled as the others' made varying kissy faces and lewd gestures.
"It can't be her....it's not possible." John muttered softly, making the others' stop and closely watch him. "John?" Branch asked softly, as the Troll on stage then turned in their dance routine, bangs blowing in the wind, and slowly made eye contact with John Dory.

You tripped slightly during your performance but quickly shook your head and smiled brighter before continuing your routine with a flourish.
YOU were there alive! But...you looked so sad even while performing.
As soon as you were off to the other side of the stage, you rushed to look for him as he for you, as he ignored his family's protest.
You rounded the corner, and stopped seeing him down the hall, and panted heavily as you both caught your breath.
After a moment of quite breathing, and wide eyed stares, you both observed the other. John looked so tired, and was sporting a new look, his hair shorter and he was wearing that brown coat you'd got him for a Christmas present one year, and there were more stress lines then last time you saw him.
John eyed the heavy bags under your eyes, and saw the sad gleam in your eyes. You didn't have that last time. You still wore the flower behind your left ear...that was one of the Valentine's present he gave you one year...it was a crystallized sunflower that you could wear forever without fear of it dying.
The world faded to the two of you as you took in the other's presence.
"Hey, sunshine."
Sobbing to yourself, you rushed into his waiting arms, kissing him as if you'd never kissed before, holding him as if he might fade away again.

Aight, now this reader met Clay while he arrived in Putt Putt village. (Your choice for gender) They are a complete dork, clumsy, always excited to do serious stuff. But also a little insecure knowing they can get a little out of hand with overthinking/overexcitement

Clay / Nerdy! Troll! Reader
"Summary"! Clay meets someone who can finally keep up with him and his... outlandish ways in helping Viva run Putt Putt village. Some could say it's a match made in heaven. He says it was simply his "lucky stroke".
"Tags"! literally one too many golf puns (only in the title and summary), Clay and Reader being dorky together, literally just fluff, maybe a little hurt but then fluffed out!
@!; You had been one of the trolls that came to the Putt Putt village with Viva; having gotten trapped in the tunnels as they collapsed, there was no where else to go other than with the Princess. It was a small populace when you all found the abandoned gulf course and decided to call it home. And though your numbers slowly grew, it would be years before an outside Troll would come across the Village.
"Did you hear?" You woke up one morning to the sounds of murmuring in the street, trolls glancing around at each other in a skeptical manner. Whispering like a Bergen was on the brink of finding the village.
"I didn't think any Pop troll would come out this far!" Whispered another Troll nearby as you tried to catch what everyone was saying. It was harder to do so here, as everyone was slightly more weary and reserved than normal Pop Trolls.
"And nevertheless ask to stay in our village..." There was a beat, "What if he's spying for the Bergens? What if the Bergens found everyone again and there was some sort of agreement made?"
"Do you really think the King would do something like that?"
All the rumors were a little insane, you had to admit. Most were logical, sensible and reasonable. Others just made you scrunch your nose and turn away; questioning if people could really think that way. Either way, all you knew is that you had to meet this new Troll! You doubted they could be a spy, as the Pop Trolls didn't exactly know where the others in the tunnels went... or even knew if we had survived.
So the most logical answer is that they just happened to stumble onto this village without realizing who inhabited it. So, they shouldn't mean any harm.
@!; In the long run, you had been right! Clay didn't mean any sort of harm. In fact, Viva seemed rather excited to welcome him into the village with open arms and a big smile. It put most of the other Trolls in the village at ease seeing Viva deeming the newcomer as friendly, and saw no reason to draw any sort of suspicion onto him.
You met Clay later than you wanted, a few weeks into his stay at the village. In fact, you had to be introduced to Clay for the two of you to even meet.
"Oooh, (Y/N)!" Viva's voice carried through the small 'serious' office you had made yourself. Viva had always been the outgoing one, the social one; the one who everyone would turn to because she knew what to say or do and how to make everyone feel better!
You were the brains behind it all, at least before Clay got introduced. You ran the logics of every outing and reconstruction of buildings. You made sure the food supply would last and that any part or sing-out wouldn't be heard by anyone nearby. You ran everything in the background that allowed everyone to be safe and you did so not because you were told... but because you genuinely enjoyed it.
Filling papers, sorting folders, punching in numbers, thinking over statistics and finding out that hidden number! Oh it could make you happier than singing any sort of song; Pop, Country, Funk or any other genre.
Many Trolls didn't get it, your love for crunching numbers. They would rather sing and socialize, but you didn't need their approval. You had your happy place within numbers and the smell of vanilla folders and they had there's outside handing and whatnot.
Which is why when Viva said the new Troll, Clay, wanted to come help work in the office, you were shocked!
"You want to help me?" Dumbfounded, even, as you started at the door while helplessly pointing at yourself. Viva couldn't help but giggle as your look, your jaw at the ground, as Clay shrugged his shoulders and smiled.
"Yeah." He seemed a little nervous, "Of course, if that's okay with you. I wouldn't want to encroach-"
"Encroach?" You voice suddenly boomed, now to Clay's shock. "Encroach?! I've always been looking for someone to help me here! It gets a little lonely sometimes-.. My friend, as long as you can crunch numbers and be okay with sorting vanilla folders by month and year and preforming probability equations with me you can saw we're already more than partners!"
Clay let out a surprised yell as you rushed over and hugging him. Viva let out another bit of laughter, always getting a kick of seeing you so excited.
"We're practically friends! Maybe best friends- wait. Wait! Too soon, ah I'm so sorry." Clay's feet hit the floor again with a small thump as you backed away from Viva and him. "Where are my manners, I'm sorry, I-"
"Don't get turned off by them Clay. They're just very excited about their job." Viva tried to explain, watching as you had stumbled over your feet while backing away from the two; bumping into your desk and knocking over papers and pencils and pens.
Clay couldn't help but feel all his nerves leave him at once. He had a feeling you both would get along just great.
@!; From that day on, you worked along side Clay behind the scene for Viva and the village. Not many Trolls understood what drew you two to the more slow paced life, but you found comfort in each other's understanding. Now, after some time, Clay knew about your habits to get over excited about your job; he found it both endearing and a little cute.
Such as he came back from checking the economic logistics about rebuilding a building to find you hard at work at your desk. You were scribbling down letters in a hurry, scratching out numbers that didn't work and rewriting numbers in an effort to get the correct answer. There was already a pile of paper in the trash beside you.
Clay wasn't sure if it was the oh-so determined look on your face that caused him to stop and watch, his clipboard still in hand, or the way your effortlessly calculated numbering in your head. The way your eyebrows furrowed every time you got the incorrect answer. The way you crumpled up a paper with rage and tossed it off to the side before returning to work with it all gone.
It just drew Clay in for some reason and he couldn't understand it. You just had such and odd effect to him he hasn't felt before.
"Ah! FINALLY!" Your shout snapped him out of his thoughts as you shot up from your chair like a rocket; causing the chair to lose balance and tumble down, crashing onto the floor and scaring you.
Flustered, you rushed to pick up the chair. You didn't notice Clay until he started chuckling besides you, "Finally got the right number there?" It was a tease, a light jab from Clay. Though he didn't expect your sudden acknowledgement of his presence would cause the chair to go tumbling again.
"Are you..?" As amusing your overexcitement could be, paired with how flustered you got afterwards, Clay was kind of concerned about the chair. And you. He was also concerned about you.
"Yes! I'm good. I'm good.." You fiddled with your fingers, a dorky yet embarrassed smile spread cross your face as your eyes darted from Clay to the paper on your desk. "I just-..." You stopped yourself, chewing at the corner of your lip.
"Go on, what happened?" Though Clay encouraged you, not bothered by your excited nature and your clumsy tendencies.
"Ah! Okay!" There was that brighter smile Clay always adored on you, "So while you were gone I opened a request from Viva, and at first I thought it was going to be something like checking the speakers or the mechanics on the clown to see how long they'll take before rusting. But actually it was one of my favorite jobs!
"Viva asked me, ME! To calculate how long we could all survive on the supplies we have here before there needed to be some sort of expedition for supplies." Clay didn't mind the way your voice bounced with such a lively tone, or the way you dancing on the tips of your toes with excitement, or how you jumped up and down while shaking your hands as you couldn't contain all the emotions bursting inside you.
To Clay, that's what made you, well you! And he wouldn't change anything about you.
@!; Clay never thought he would find a day, though, where you would be doubting yourself this bad. He had gone out to take a five minute break from the office, leaving you to work in relative peace and silence. He only needed a stretch, some fresh air, and then he would be right back.
It had only been five minutes, at least Clay thought it had. He guessed he did stop and talk to Viva about some projects, along with light chatter and making lunch plans with the three of them. It surely hadn't been that long!... or maybe it had.
Clay found you holding the edge of your desk and gripping your pencil as though your life depended on it.
Sure he knew you overthought a lot, as it was usually a reason why you got so overexcited when you get something right and prove yourself wrong. Yet he's never seen you like.. this. On the brink of tears, sitting on the edge of your seat, breath slightly ragged as you tried to calm it, looking down at the paper like you had lost all sort of hope and had failed everyone and they were long gone and eaten.
it scared him. It really did.
He didn't know what to do for a moment, and he later kicked himself in the ass for standing there and watching you struggle for so long, only rushing to your side when you fell off your chair.
"(Y/N)! Hey! Hey, what's wrong?!" Clay rushed to your side, sliding to his knees to be right next to you and your shaking figure. He was terrified, but he needed to be strong for you in this moment.
You weren't responding and Clay tried his best to remain as calm as he could. Slowly he reached his hands out, cupping over your hand that held a death grip on a pen. He tried slowly loosening your hold, carefully getting you to drop the pen you were holding onto the floor. He spoke softly to you while he did this, trying to get your mind to ground itself back to Earth, working on getting you to let go of the desk next.
"Hey, hey, it's okay. I promise it's okay." Clay wasn't sure if you even heard him at this moment, yet he was going to do all it took to calm you down; you didn't deserve to hurt yourself like this. "I promise everything is okay. Whatever happened, whatever you're thinking, it's all okay. You're okay, the village is okay, there's nothing you cannot do..."
Clay managed to break your hold from the desk and moved to hug you, tightly and securely. He continued to try and comfort you, bring you any sort of relief from whatever pain you were causing yourself.
It was a while before he felt you wrap your arms around him, slowly hiding your head into his shoulder as you began to sob. It broke Clay's heart to hear you sob. It broke Clay more when your body began to tremble as you couldn't even begin to explain what you were feeling. You held so many big emotions for a Troll, Clay knew that all too well, and sometimes those big emotions were horrible and nasty and infesting.
Clay wished he could protect you from those emotions, but logistically knew he couldn't. So he sat with you, on the floor of the small office, providing all the comfort you needed until you were okay again.
And he'll be here forever; ready to stick with you through the thick and thin, the harsh and the best. All to be able to see your bright smiles and your excited little gimmicks and even your worse days.
Clay loved you, and that's something no logic could deny.

Not So Rock-Hearted || Floyd (Trolls) x Reader
a/n: prepare for this to not be serious, but rather silly and rushed because i think floyd is one cutie patootie ty

i.i prologue;
After the night of the Bergen Attack, you lost your best friend. You were angry that night. You were angry at King Peppy for lying about “no troll left behind" when he left behind his own daughter. Then, one night, you left.
You wandered away from Pop Village, venturing outside with all the dangers. Eventually, after a few days and still no sign of Viva, you lost hope. You survived the next few days, trying to hide from the predators and find a new place to stay.
Along the way, you encountered a different kind of troll, a rock troll. Her name was Barb, and she took you to Volcano Rock City, which eventually became your new home. You also, eventually, got around to rock music. You enjoyed it more, and it naturally became a part of you, the pop fading away.
During the World Tour, you didn’t expect to see King Peppy again. It frustrated you to see him casually be carried by a sea of trolls, so by the time he reached your arms, you gripped him tight and set him down in front of you.
“King Peppy.” You said his name through gritted teeth. “It’s good to see you again.” You follow up as calmly as possible.
“Oh, I- I’m sorry, do I know you?” He replied nervously, taking a step back and raising his hands. You scoffed, adjusting your guitar strap so your instrument could hang by your back. You reminded him of your name. He echoed it, confused, before gasping.
“Where’s Viva?” You cocked your head to the side and folded your arms. He gulped and looked down. Your mouth opened a bit in disappointment, your brows furrowing. “You still haven’t found her?” You asked. Disbelief, sadness, and there’s that frustration again.
“I…”
“What happened to no troll left behind?”
“When I went back to get them, the tunnels had already collapsed!” King Peppy defended himself. “I’m guilty, every day, for leaving those trolls behind. I’m even guilty that I let you go away… I kept thinking that a Bergen would get you too!”
“So why didn’t you stop me?” You asked, shaking your head a little.
“Because I was a coward!” You inhaled sharply at his reply. He breathed heavily before clearing his throat. “I can never go back in time and make sure that Viva got out of the tunnels with the others, or make sure that you never left and made it up to you.”
“...” You said nothing, watching him step forward and grab your hand in his.
“I’m happy to see that you’re doing well, however. And… that I’m also sorry.” He said softly. Your eyes softened, and you sighed, placing your other hand on his.
“King Peppy, I… I don’t think I’ll forgive you, but I think I’ll learn to accept what’s happened. I’ve got Queen Barb, and she’s proven to me that she won’t leave me behind.” You glanced at him before looking at your savior on stage. “She’s given me a new friendship that I never thought I’d make again after Viva.” You smiled gently before meeting his eye again, pulling your hands away.
King Peppy smiles slightly and nods his head. “That’s… good to hear.” You nod your head before you start to walk away. “I just have one favor…”
“What is it?” You stop, turning back to him.
“Don’t tell Poppy about Viva... She’s not ready.”
You look at him quietly before shaking your head and continuing to walk away. “Whatever you want, King Peppy.” You say loud enough for him to hear before walking to the stage for Barb.
You didn’t talk to him after the World Tour. You didn’t return to the pop trolls when Poppy invited you back either; you simply told her that you had your place here with the rock trolls.

As a Lando fan, but first and foremost a Max and Charles fan, I’m quite disappointed in Lando. It’s true what they say, not everyone is happy when you are on top and your real friends show their true colours.
You are right, Max says what he thinks and never filters it. While Charles is a PR King (let’s be honest he’s more of a princess but that’s besides the point) but never once has he thrown shade at Max since they became friends (at least not that I know of)
Now, Daniel is not, has never been and will never be someone about him. Nothing against him, just vibes. But the fact that Max has held him so dear and close to his heart and he goes ahead and throws major shade at Max when Max was being nothing but honest at Vegas then makes sure to hang out with Lando during Winter break the other driver who is Max’s publicly known bestie on the grid (I mean the man even attends P’s birthday parties) anyway I digress. It’s just outright shady and childish.
Max is on another level and not everyone will understand that. True friendship should withstand such challenges. Of course anyone would be jealous and intimidated by such dominance and success but to deny the man like Peter denying Jesus infront of the crowd is just sad. I mean c’mon, did he mean it as a joke? Also was Daniel attempting humour? It’s possible but I can’t see someone like Charles making such weird comments. Even when they were beefing, Charles made it known that him and Max are okay and even though they are not best friends their relationship or hang out outside the paddock (back then things are different now) he still loved racing against Max because they understood each other and how they raced.
It’s actually petty for grown men to belittle their friend because of his success. But what do I know, the sport destroyed a childhood friendship (Nico + Lewis) Maybe only the realest and toughest friendships survive. Viva Charles and Max (whether you ship them or as friends) it’s real and they are always rooting for each other.

yeah, i feel like the difference between daniel's current place in f1 and max's is playing a significant factor. again, max joined RBR when he was essentially still a teenager that was battling with puberty. daniel was there as the mature driver that max looked up to.
now, fast forward to 2024, daniel is fighting for his last chance at f1 after many unsuccessful team moves, and max is much more mature and has 3 WDC titles under his belt. that certainly changes things.
so i'm sure that if for whatever reason rbr kicks out checo and daniel jumps in, their dynamic would be different.
lando, on the other hand, is a different story. @tsarinablogs had a great post where someone suggested "I think Lando couldnt handle his car actually being competitive. Thats what weakened their friendship. It’s easy to be friends when you are driving a slow car, but then the car actually got competitive and he still couldnt beat Max."
again, the truth is -- f1 is a highly competitive environment and everyone will fight for themselves first without a doubt. that's what's happening with daniel and lando. daniel wants that red bull seat, lando wants to beat max. and that is going to be their priority over whatever friendly relationship they may have with max.
on the other hand, there are only 20 drivers in f1 so you have 20 other co-workers who share the same experiences as you. so you will always be closer to them than anyone else because no one would get you that well.
i think what works well currently between max and charles is that no matter how much media tried to put them against each other, they alway showed mutual respect to each other. charles never talked shit about max in press, and the overall vibe they have going on recently is that charles is happy for max's success, and is working hard to gain his own. also their actions speak a lot -- like charles' putting aside ferrari's questionable qatar strategy and rushing to congratulate max on his WDC. or max running to charles to apologise for his mistake in vegas.
their relationship doesn't seem to be definined by their racing results, and their joint racing history also makes them more equal in their own eyes than other drivers.

Queen Barb - messing with the Rock String made Thrash lose his mind and made Barb more aggressive. Notice they both seemed to be more level headed after the strings were destroyed?
Riff - studying to work in Aged Care. His studies are sponsored so that he can look after King Thrash.
Classical Trolls - hosts the Trolls version of the Met Gala. All the tribes leaders and their entourages are invited. Also huge names in each genre are invited; Brozone, Sugar Gals, Bad Hair Day, Val Thundershock. (The MeTROLLpolitan Museum of Art 😆)
Trollings - can't make their hair into a gradient style until they are older. (survival/camouflage situations they can do, but only temporarily)
Putt Putt Trolls - use the courses tokens as general currency.
Viva - blows raspberries on peoples cheeks/arms/stomachs to show affection.
Viva - likes to collect 'things'. (Canon?) Never know when you might need the thing again. It can be reused for a different purpose. Side effect of trying to survive. Borderline hoarder. Clay does it too, he is just more organized about it.
John Dory - sometimes refers to himself in the third person. "John Dory doesn't need a map!"
John Dory - doesn't 'get' modern art, pretends he does so people don't think he's dumb.
John Dory - will try to use fancier sounding words in a sentence, thinking it makes sense. It doesn't.
Clay - has a lot of energy. When he isn't dancing, he fidgets, taps his foot, bounces his knee, drums pens.
Clay - has many, many of the same sweater romper. All of them are different shades of green.
Clay - eventually hires an assistant. The assistant is mentally prepared for Clay to be a dictator of a boss. They are shocked when Clay keeps saying things like "Have you had a break yet?" "I think you need a day for your mental health." "Yes, that's how much I'm paying you. How are you going to save for your own pod if I pay you any less?" (I have designed him, I've called him Rye if anyone wants to see him)
Floyd - used to busk to earn extra cash (based on that one concept art)
Floyd - felt he needed to start a solo career because he wrote a lot of songs that JD didn't pay attention to.
Floyd - did in fact live with the other Troll tribes for a while. Hard Rock Trolls were the last ones he met. This was where he met his manager/mentor. (Have also designed him if anyone is interested)
Bruce - all the kids now request Brozone songs instead of lullabies.
Bruce - opened the restaurant before he met Brandy. Used all the money he had left from Brozone to open it.
Bruce - teaches his kids about body positivity.

A/N: Okay I love the putt putt trolls cause their designs are adorable and so sweet! (๑>•̀๑)
- Putt Putt Trolls, also called Golf Trolls just like yourself are Trolls that hail from the Pop Troll tribe that live in a sub-tribe away from the rest of the Tribe...
- You and your tribe have been cut off from the other pop trolls for a couple of decades being founded soon after the last Trollstice and the events...
- Putt Putt Trolls like yourself are the first Trolls to be part of a new category after Trolls World Tour introduced the Trolls being identified by their genre of music they based their cultures around thus it marked the return of the older classification
- When in Trolls world tour when they went to grab clay you popped out from your fluffy golf ball form with the other putt putt trolls and made eyecontact with John dory and the others
- You know the loud scream when Putt Putt Trolls call burgers "meat circles" because the word "burger" sounds like "Bergen" yeah that loud scream was you who literally ran away and rolled away
- Turns out you were Viva is bestfriend when everybody got seperated so you were also one of the main defenders of putt putt village
- You stood out to John dory with your frizzy or straight hair with your f/c colored hue so a Troll in the Tribe who has blue hair has a similar tone or color body and outfit like you and your f/c body wearing a wool outfit and the similar pattern diamond design
- John dory was pulled in by you who was standing beside Clay and Viva protectively eyeing the group down
- John dory went over to you and tried to talk to you buy you took a step back in panic cause you really haven't had interactions with others who weren't fellow putt putt trolls
- When they took Clay you were gonna chase after them but stayed behind with Viva
- After the misson to save floyd
- Clay invited all of them to come with him and Viva to have a better look around Putt putt village John dory eyes widened when seeing you again
- John dory couldn't help but want to make conversation with you and was interested on how you survived from the bergens like the other putt putt trolls
- TOUCH-STARVED! HE IS TOUCHED STARVE! GIVE HIM HIS AFFECTION! He's love struck when you pepper his face with kisses

Of Course! The Escape The Dark AU is initially a bit of an apocalypse type situation? A summary:
Dark, wilted plants that look like they’ve been shrouded in shadows were found on the outskirts of pop village/trollstopia. While initially reported back to Queen Poppy, they couldn’t find the plants again, so they brushed it off and payed it no more mind.
However, one night, the village is surrounded by shadows, and dark, pitch black entities who look like they’re entirely made of shadows themselves emerged through the forest and rampaged through the village, attacking trolls. Trolls all ran from the village away into the surrounding forest, all getting separated.
One big group of trolls decided to make a bit of a settlement, or a safe place to live in while they figured out how to fix this. With Queen Poppy, Peppy and Viva all missing, and nobody else around who was typically a leader, John Dory, Branch, and a few others stepped up to run the settlement.
You see point of views of others who are lost in the forest, trying to survive and make their way back to the others. Some trolls are in groups (ex: Group 1- Boom, Creek and Floyd, Group 2- Poppy and Viva, etc) while some trolls found themselves alone.
However, along with this comes a sickness. Trolls who get bitten, scratched, etc by these shadow entities get infected, darkness slowly taking over their body, losing their colour and turning black, slowly killing them. This isn’t a zombie situation, they remain very much themselves until they pass away, and they can’t infect other trolls (so infected trolls are still allowed in the settlement to try and care for them). However, once a troll passes, their shadow seems to detach itself, and becomes one of the strange entities who attack the trolls and lurk in the dark of the forest.
This is just a bit of the basic, lore I’m planning on posting more ^^
