ATTN: Just popping by to say that if you are purchasing the new kits today - particularly the Urban Homage kit - be sure to use the creator code "EBONIX" at checkout!
Tumblr media
Collab creators do not make any percentage of the revenue after release, they're just paid a flat rate up front, so if you want a little of the proceeds to go to the creator, use code "EBONIX" at checkout (it costs you nothing!!!). Also worth noting that because they had some issues with codes in the app today, creators will apparently receive 10% commission instead of 5% commission the next 48 hrs. (LilSimsie shared this in her overview video!)
Again, code "EBONIX" at checkout. Support black creators!

You don't step on me twice
You can't step into the same water twice
Remember?

Why does it take writers reaching their breaking point and quitting for some of you to pretend like you gave an inch of a shit?
It’s not fair.

Whoo Hoo! The Gourmet Goober Podcast was Featured on Apple Podcast's Black History Month Collection for the Second Consecutive Year!
Tumblr media
The Gourmet Goober Podcast, an indie food and pop culture podcast based on the popular Chicago-area blog of the same name, has been selected for inclusion in Apple Podcast's Black History feature for the second year in a row. The show, hosted by JJ Outlaw and her husband, T. "Big Daddy" Outlaw, explores the intersection of food and pop culture from an African American perspective.
Now in its fifth year, the show has received praise for its engaging host banter and insightful interviews, earning recognition from Soulphoodie.com as one of the top food and beverage podcasts hosted by a Black woman. The show's name was inspired by a nickname given to JJ by her father years ago when he instilled in her a love of cooking.
"We are thrilled to be included in Apple Podcast's Black History Month collection for the second year running, alongside bigger production shows that we admire," said JJ Outlaw, who produces the podcast in addition to co-hosting duties. "It's an honor to be recognized for our work in celebrating Black food culture and exploring how food connects us all."
In addition to its recognition from Soulphoodie.com, the Gourmet Goober Podcast has been identified as one of the top 100 independent foodie podcasts by Goodpods.com. The show continues to attract a loyal following of food enthusiasts and pop culture aficionados alike.

Iansã/Oyá:
Iansã is one of the strongest and most important female Orixás in African mythology. She is considered the goddess of winds, storms and fire, representing strength and change. It is usually associated with the color red or brown, which symbolize strength and power.
In African mythology, Iansã is the wife of Xangô and is known for her courage and bravery. She is a warrior and protector Orisha, capable of bringing positive changes in her children's lives. It is a symbol of transformation, renewal and courage to face life's challenges.
Iansã is worshiped in several regions of Brazil, especially in Bahia. It is common to offer offerings such as candles, flowers, perfumes and swords to the goddess. It is believed that Iansã is capable of bringing protection, strength and courage to those who seek it.
The importance of Iansã in Afro-Brazilian culture is undeniable, being a symbol of strength, change and courage to face life's challenges.

Happy Juneteenth, folks! I’ve only been doing commissions since April and I’m saving up to move out of my parents house so donate or support a black artist perhaps? It would mean a lot!! (All my commission info is on my ko-fi page) 👀✌️🌈✨

Miss Me? 😉
I’m back and I’m better than ever.
New things coming, old things being completed. This year it’s all Sir Lewis Hamilton with sides.
Original content (not fanfiction) will be behind a paywall. Those who can support, I’ll appreciate the love 🙏🏾💕
Big things are coming,
Stay Tuned …
xoxo
