Just read a new interview with presumably Bojan, in light of playing at Špancirfest on August 22nd (aka the day I lose all my wits)
So quick eng translation of the most important bits:
~ We're great. We just came back from intense recording of a new single in the studio where we totally isolated ourselves from the world and simply enjoyed the music. We had to rest from the UK tour and now we've gathered new energy for all the performances that follow.
~ That's right, we just recorded a new single which will be released in September with a music video, and after that we have a sold out Nordic tour (NOR, SWE, FIN) and our biggest concert so far in Arena Stožice in Ljubljana for 12 000 people, which has been sold out for a couple of months now. We have a European tour planned for the fall, and at the beginning of 2024 we'll start recording our third album.
~ This will be the first time we play as an opening act for such world legends as Franz Ferdinand. They're one of the main authors of the modern British sound in which we often find ourselves musically, and that's why it's a great honor for us to share the stage with them.
~ It's hard to say which were our favorite concerts, but certainly our top concerts were the ones accompanying the release of our 1st album in the twice-sold-out Cvetličarna in Ljubljana, then the release of our 2nd album in the sold-out Križanke in Ljubljana and the performance at this year's Beerfest in Belgrade, where we felt as if we're playing at Glastonbury.
~ As musicians, we hope we can create and play our music live no matter where in the world we are and to not have to worry about surviving next month.
~ Dear fans, enjoy the summer, love each other and never forget to carpe every diem!

Joker Out for Croatian website SoundGuardian
18.08.2023.
JOKER OUT RIGHT BEFORE THEIR PERFORMANCE AT ŠPANCIRFEST: "EXPECT AN ENERGETIC SHAGADELIC AUDIOVISUAL EXPERIENCE"
Joker Out is a Slovenian indie rock band formed in 2016 who blew us away alongside Buč Kesidi at Šalati a few months back, and now we find out what they have prepared for us for their new arrival in Croatia.
Hello guys, first off, how are you?
We're great. We just got back from an intensive recording session of our new single in the studio in which we were totally isolated from the world and just enjoyed the music. We had to rest after our UK tour and now we've gathered new energy for our next performances.
You've recently performed here, what was that experience like?
It's always incredible when you come to perform in a different country and people already know you. They even know how to sing your songs. That's what it was like in Croatia too. You've made us feel very welcome this past half a year and we thank you very much for that.
You're coming to Špancirfest with other great bands, how do you feel?
Ever since we were invited, we've impatiently awaited the performance. It'll be the first time that we play as an opening act for worldwide legends such as Franz Ferdinand. They're one of the main authors of modern British sound in which we often find ourselves, musically, and that's why it's a great honour for us to be able to share a stage with them.
What can fans expect?
Fans can expect an energetic shagadelic audiovisual experience which excites people from all over Europe all summer long.
We know you guys are great and we're looking forward to listen and see you guys again, we hope the feelings mutual?
Of course it is.
You've mentioned that you've just returned from recording your new single. Can you tell us more about that, as well as future plans?
That's right, we've just recorded our new single which will come out in September with a music video, and after that we have a sold out Nordic tour (NOR, SWE, FIN) and our biggest concert to date in Arena Stožice in Ljubljana with 12.000 people which has already been sold out for a couple of months. For autumn, we've already planned a European tour, and at the beginning of 2024 we'll begin recording our third album.
From the moment you were formed to now, which has been your favourite concert and how much have your lives changed ever since your Eurovision performance?
It's difficult to say which one's our favourite, but our top two concerts are definitely the ones were the ones that came with the release of our first album in the twice-sold Cvetličarna in Ljubljana, and then with the release of our second album in the sold out Križanke in Ljubljana and our performance at this year's Beerfest in Belgrade at which we felt like we were performing at Glastonbury.
What's your greatest wish as musicians?
To be able to create and to play our music live wherever we find ourselves in the world and to not worry how we're going to survive the next month.
We believe that Špancirfest will be great, what are your expectations?
We expect a very fun and energetic crowd, like everywhere else in Croatia. And of course, to dance the whole night.
For the end, we can't wait for you guys to come, but do you have any messages for the fans before your perfomance in Varaždin?
Dear fans, enjoy summer, love yourselves and never forget to carpe every diem.
Joker Out will perform on the main stage at Špancirfest as an opening act for Franz Ferdinand on Tuesday, August 22nd, starting at 19:30h (7:30 PM). The concert is free.

I was shock cause my dad, whose never done anything, accepted my offer of a special gummie. He was giving me the tough guy act, like honey, I drink. Okay dad, you're the boss. I gave him a whole one.
We finish the movie and I have to say 'dad' three times before he could answer. "How are you feeling?" "Oh I'm fine."
Oh buddy, it just kicked in.
Somebody put Beerfest on, and my dad settled in like an ipad kid. Nearly my whole family is at my youngest sisters house, because the baby's birthday was today and we're all pooped out. Some friends are there with a kid, too. Four of us go into the kitchen to play MTG, while my sister's and the kid and baby stay in the living room.
Every now and again I peep at my dad, who is still at a statue, mouth open, fixated on the movie. My sister plays with the kids. It starts getting late, and we have to get dad back to the hotel. I volunteer to take him after the end of the game, but my sister takes him.
I didn't tell my sister he'd eaten a gummie until after she's gotten back, but she laughed and said it made total sense, and that he was being a space cadet. He's going to sleep very well tonight.
My dad usually isn't fun to be around, but I guess I've hacked it. Mild sedation and a dumb summer flick 😂😂 just like babysitting

#Repost @builttotravel Dark and Wild City in Leeds, England 🏴. Organized at Northern Monk in their Leeds Refactory. It’s all thanks to Dave @dayv_sadler that I made it to this unforgettable festival and city. In terms of Leeds highlights I will deliver more in future posts, my content is quite big after just 4 days. This post here is purely dedicated to the festival. The venue is just wonderful, I’m a sucker for brick buildings. It got a bit too crowded at some point inside but plenty of space outside. The atmosphere with Halloween costumes was adding to the whole dark theme. The live music gigs was my favorite part of the festival, yeah more then beer 😅🤟🏻. The choice of bands was just so appealing to my dark and wild heart! After all metal and it’s variations are the kinds of music! Food options so yummy 😋. Had the baos and a burger, all delicious. Now the other thing that I loved were the people! I did meet new people especially The Emperor himself @emperorsbrewery! Got to meet finally Justyna @explore.theunknown after so many years of following each other on Instagram. Meeting fellow connoisseurs 😅 of the Dark is always my idea of beer festivals, learning new stuff, tasting new beers, discovering new breweries. In terms of beers I was surprised this was the first festival where I actually could try all the beers. Special shout out to the @browarfunkyfluid for also getting to try their special smoked hard liquor. My favorite beers in stout were @weldwerksbrewing Summer Starry Noche 2022, @vaultcitybrewing From a Gaelic Sea, Far, Far Away… and @neonraptorbrew Centaur Army. Sour favorites were again Vault with their 999g/L Strawberry Banana Vanilla Crunch Smoothie and Blueberry Pumpkin Spice Latte. Special award goes to @burleyoak for delivering the craziest and delicious beer Jelly Not Jam Blue Coconut Snoball! I’ll be back! . . . #beerselfie #polishboy #beerdrinker #beerfriends #beerfest #beerfestival #beerme #beertime #beertography #beer #beers #beerstagram #beerporn #beergeek #beertravel #beerblog #beerblogger #beertrip #goodbeer #beerislife #beerisgood #craftbeer #craftbeerlife #beergasm #beerparty #festival #darkandwild #beerpeople https://www.instagram.com/p/CkbN2C9rSwJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Join breweries Von Ebert and Gigantic in a pub crawl to celebrate their collaboration release - Enjoy House IPA.
Press Release
Portland, Oregon: Gigantic Brewing Company has teamed up with Von Ebert Brewing Company to create a new beer that captures the spirit of Tokyo nightlife. Enjoy House! IPA is a summer IPA with an over-the-top hop profile featuring tropical flavors of pineapple, mango, and orange zest.
The idea for this beer came from a serendipitous encounter in Tokyo during the Hood to Fuji Beerfest, when the brewmasters from Gigantic & Von Ebert were walking the city looking for their next stop. They saw a second-story window with “Enjoy House!” painted on it that was lit with Christmas lights. They went up the stairs to discover a dive bar decorated with streamers and balloons with cool music and friendly vibes. That late-night experience inspired them to create Enjoy House! IPA.
“We were amazed by the energy of Enjoy House!, purely the vibe and style. Most people probably don’t notice the second-story bar window in the bright lights of the city, but when we walked in we felt like we’d discovered the raddest local hangout,” said Ben Love. “We wanted to create a beer that would capture that feeling of fun and adventure.”
When asked about creating the beer Gigantic Masterbrewer Van Havig said, “Sam Pecoraro - Von Ebert’s brewmaster - thought it would be fun to showcase both their and our hand-selected lots of Citra hops in a bright IPA for the summer. It’s always interesting to see what other people are looking for in the hops they purchase, so we both learned a little something about the other. We chose to dry hop with a Citra/Strata combination because it’s something we both really like”.
Enjoy House is available on draft and in bottle for First Taste Tuesday on Tuesday, June 27th at all three Gigantic locations, The Brewery & Champagne Lounge (5224 SE 26th), Robot Room at Rocket Empire Machine (6935 NE Glisan), and Hawthorne Pub (4344 SE Hawthorne). Look for Enjoy House IPA on draft and in 16.9oz refillable bottles at your favorite bar, bottle shop, bodega, or grocer in the Portland metro area! We also sent a limited shipment to the Seattle area, Southern Oregon and California.
There is also a pub crawl planned for Friday, June 30th with Gigantic and Von Ebert brewers. The crawl kicks off at 5pm at Gigantic’s Hawthorne Pub (4334 SE Hawthorne). We will then continue on to 3 more locations within walking distance. Join us, it’s going to be a lot of fun!
The Enjoy House label features art by returning artist Vidhya Nagarajan. She is a talented illustrator and letterer based in NYC. Her work has been featured in various publications and platforms such as the NYTimes, Washington Post, NPR, Google, Apple, and many more. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching Bollywood movies.
As always, Gigantic beer is packaged in BottleDrop Refillable bottles. BottleDropRefillables are sorted, washed, inspected, and delivered back to Oregon’s craft beverage producers to be refilled. By choosing beverages in refillable bottles, you help keep our air clean, our beaches, parks, and roadsides litter-free, promote a circular economy, and set a model for future generations.
