The Way That Lovers Do.

(i’m on my period and feeling a bit sad, but i was on tik tok and saw this lovely video of this couple and they looked so in love while sitting at this table ^. it inspired me to get out of my writing slump) sorry if the story is a bit unorganized, i was struggling on what to write.

it was your second date with him. he was a very sweet guy. usually, people say that opposites attract and they do, but really we look for the similarities.

when you two talk to each other it was like gazing into a whole different world. for example, his career was totally different from yours, and the stories that he would tell you about his job would be shocking enough to make your jaw drop. he was so eager to talk while you were intent with listening. you had no problem with this, he even made to effort to listen to you (which is different from your ex’s).

he was a little shy and so we’re you, being that it was your second date with him, it’s expected to feel this way. yet, his nervousness only propelled him to go on nervous rambles and very detailed stories. and like mentioned before, you throughly enjoyed them.

6:45 pm

he pulls up to your house, you swear that time was moving quicker than it usually did. so when you hear the door bell ring, you’re rushing to fit things in your tiny bag, making sure you’ve got everything you needed. ‘gum, phone, lip gloss, perfume, keys, wallet,’ you quickly check off while rushing down the stairs. the sun was setting, leaving a nice warm glow around him when you opened your front door.

“hi.. hello” he repeats nervously as if you didn’t hear him the first time.

“hello” you smile back at him. he stares at you almost as if he’s in a daze, and you stare back reciprocating the same look. he looks very very good. his style is a tad bit different from yours, color wise. you guys both made the effort to dress up on your second date. A complete contrast from your first date where you guys were dressed down (because y’all painted in the park 🤭) .

“uh, you look very very beautiful,” he says as he reaches out for your hand. “thank you, you don’t look so bad yourself,” you smile again, looking him up and down, while giving him your hand. he smiles really hard and mumbles a thank you, while he closes your door.

when you guys reach the car, he opens the door for you like a princess, waving his hand in front in a way how chauffeurs (idek bro😭) do in fairytales. when you get inside you see him quickly walk to the drivers side and you try to reach over the console to open his door as well.

7:20 pm

upon arriving to the restaurant, you both walk in hand in hand. the smell of fresh bread and soft jazz giving you a warm welcome, the lights dimly lit and the evening sun helping light up the restaurant.

“this place is nice,” you say to him. “i’m glad you like it, i took some of my coworkers here a little while ago, it was nice and the food was good,” he replies. “they serve french cuisine here, so i figure that it would be romantic”. you smile at him and you can tell he starts to get nervous. “cause you know, like, France, heh.. Eiffel tower—,” you start to rub your thumb over his hand to calm him a little “i understand,” you laugh.

“so what did you try the last time you were here,” you ask, as you guys get settled in your seats.

“we’ll, this place is very well known for their soufflés, so last time i got the salmon and asparagus soufflé i believe.”

“hmm, i might try that”

9:05 pm

the night is going beautifully. after you both ate you decided to talk for a while. while you tell him about your drama at work, or the latest trend you saw on tick tok, he would be heavily engaged. he would keep deep eye contact with you and would have a through response and/or interesting opinions. Not only that but he was a good listener.

when you first met him, you were a bit thrown off by him. considering that you didn’t know him well enough, it was so easy to come up with assumption about him based on how he looked and what people around him said about him. but after your first date with him, you found yourself a lot more eager to learn about him, and so was he about you.

so when he starts to share his stories about his day, and he shows how he was listening to you by relating his stories to yours, or even brining up similar topics, you find yourself smiling at him (the wine isn’t helping either).

so as the night grew longer, and the conversations became deeper. you found that you guys are much alike. and although you guys are different in many ways, the main thing you have in common is you hope you guys can love each other the way that lovers do.

Could You Turn Off Your Book?

Atsumu was great at so many things. everyone knew that. Volleyball, eating, completing tasks, shit you fucking name it, but he struggled with on thing.

patience.

what was the point in waiting when you could just keep going. like of course he could wait if he wanted to why?

over the past two weeks you have started this bet with your friends. The bet was simple: read 3 books within 6 months. it sounds pretty simple to an avid reader but you struggled to remember to actually read the damn book.

but it was month 2 and you were already on your 2nd book. Over time you found that the reading was very therapeutic and rewarding. usually during dinner Atsumu would ask you how far you are in the book and he loved to hear and watch you explain with much eagerness. But he hated when you actually would read. it was weird. He hated that you would just sit there in silence and not talk or give him any attention, he wasn’t used to it even though this was just the second month.

don’t get him wrong, he loved how attentive you were and how serious you looked when you were reading. you looked so hot. he just wanted you all to himself but why is he competing with a book?

Usually you read around bedtime before you go to sleep, while reading Atsumu gets ready and situated for bed. while brushing his teeth he glanced over at you focused on the book. your expression was so cute with your eyebrows furrowed. he just wanted to embrace you.

“Honey when ya gonna finish that damn book” he whined

“i’m not sure, i think i have like 6 chapters left”

he groans and starts to really take in the width of the book as he lays down next to you. currently your sitting up against the head board and atsumu scoots over so that he can rest his arm against your lap.

he starts to groan some more. until then he starts singing. oh it’s dreadful.

this was not a good idea cause he just took this as a chance to start kissing your shoulder up to your neck, you’d be lying if you said it didn’t bring chills down your spine.

“i’m not doing anything” as he continues on the sweet spot on your neck.

at this point you’ve already given up. so now here you are cuddling in your boyfriends arms because he couldn’t wait. your not complaining, and you thanked your friends for this challenge cause you liked the over amount of attention he was giving you.

childish i swear but his instagram lives are really chill and relaxed, nothing crazy and they sometimes can be boring but you gotta stay a little while longer for some entertainment.. unless it’s is annual shower lives..

he’s always at all of your games and if your like a professional basketball player the camera people know that they should record him or get a lil clip cause he’s always decked out in some type of merch

A Day With 4*Town as Newlyweds !!

you guys both start your morning kind of early, like 8:30 or 8:00

he’s usually the first one to wake up and like this might sound a bit corny but he just looks at you while you sleep

BYE THAT SOYNDS WEIRD BUT JTS SO SWEET

he’ll like caress his hand on your cheek, if your drooling well best believe he’s gonna wipe that shit right up

then he’s gonna get up and get you both some water cause why start the day dehydrated he says

so at this point if your a light sleeper you might be up already but if your a deep sleeper or like you just didn’t wake up yet then he’s gonna wake you up in the most sweetest way possible

he will kiss your knuckles and up your arm to your jaw, and he won’t won’t stop till you wake up

when you do wake up he’ll encourage you to drink your water and you’re still confused cause you just woke up

he’ll ask you how you slept, how do you feel, what do you want to do that day

but you don’t really respond much cause your tired but he likes watching you in your tired state, it’s cute

at this time you guys have just gotten up and out of bed and started getting ready for your little walk in the park

you guys take a shower together, brush your teeth together, he watches you put on your clothes, bro lemme tell you there’s way to much tension

what he usually does is he helps you out on your lotion…dawg it’s so much tension

he’ll put lotion on your legs and then it’s the way he looks up at you that makes you so nervous (i’m nervous writing this)

he then starts to massage and put lotion on your back and it’s one of the best feelings your ever gonna feel

and he’ll ask you “does it feel good?” “am i squeezing your hard?”

then you put lotion on him too and it’s a whole mess as well bro (￣^￣)

the whole morning it’s like cute little flirting or like teasing, the both of y’all can’t handle it

but when you guys are all ready to go if you didn’t finish your water he will make you finish it before y’all leave your bedroom

you guys make the executive decision to go on a walk and then to go get something to eat but he makes sure you both eat a little something before you guys leave

while y’all are in the kitchen eating he’s gonna constantly remind you that you guys are married

“oh my gosh!!”

“nothing it’s just.. oh my gosh.. we’re married”

it’s annoying and cute at the same time and he just laughed at you while you huff and puff

you both arrive at the park and walk around for a while

you guys talk about so many things on your walk, most of the things being about your future, maybe he’ll talk about the band a little bit

he might share some song lyrics with you, your like his best friend so he’s gonna share anything that’s on his mind with you

he doesn’t have to worry about putting up a façade

but if you guys run into any fans he’s very sweet to them but he also gets to make the interaction very quick

he doesn’t want his time with you to be ruined

12:45pm

for lunch you guys go to this cute little restaurant you’ve always been going too

like for your third date you guys went there and y’all are cool with the owners there

i feel like he’s the type to make you order more food

“you sure you didn’t want the other thing you were talking about too?”

“no i’m fine i won’t be able to finish it all”

he’ll be like oh okay and then order it to go

like anything you want it’s yours shawty

and one thing he refuses to do is to let you touch or see the bill

sometimes you may offer to pay and then he’s like “no.”

even on times where it’s supposed to be about him like his birthday he’ll still pay

like oh…

but anyways while you guys wait for your meal to come out he’s gonna hold your hand and caress your thumb

it’s so obvious you both are in love with each other, people around you even notice it and can’t help but feel happy or maybe even envious

y’all are there for a good minute but when you do leave you both ready to go to sleep

on the car ride back he might get a few calls pertaining the group or something but he tries to make them quick because he doesn’t want to be rude

but you let him know it’s fine

when you guys return home you change into some comfy clothes and just lounge around the house

maybe y’all make out for a lil while

you guys probably watch some movies, listen to music together, just hang out and talk

6:00pm

you guys start planning out what y’all want for dinner

and you guys have such a set schedule that sometimes Aaron T wants to come over sometimes just to have dinner sometimes

you guys don’t mind but it’s like the 6th time this week

he says he just like hanging out with Robaire and you but he just wants the food for real

but when you guys cook you play some music in the background like jazz or r&b, something that’s like calming and nice to listen to

it’s really fun cooking with him and not to mention how good he looks too

like he’s just singing and stirring whatever it is he’s stirring

like the vibes are there

and the meal is very good like you can’t blame Aaron T for coming over so often cause the food is too good

at dinner you guys usually talk about the same stuff you guys talk about at in the park: your guys future, the band, lyrics, possibly even having a pet!!

but just like how he was at lunch he’s very romantic so if you have like something on your face like sauce or something he’s gonna wipe it off and then taste it

there’s sometimes when you have something on your mouth and then instead of using his thumb he just licks it

he did that i front of the band one times and it was so scary bro

they didn’t know how to react but Robaire just acted like nothing happened and kept on talking about the food and the flavors

he’s not afraid of PDA at all

you guys both wash the dishes as well, and it’s so nice

sometimes he tries to make you not do the dishes he’ll say things like

“i don’t want you to ruin your nails, i’ll do it” “no no go sit”

but you still end up helping him anyways even if it’s just drying the dishes

like this is apart of your quiet time for the night

especially if Aaron T was there, y’all wouldn’t be washing the dishes till like 10:00

he’ll often say things like that m, it’s lowkey scary and sweet cause it sounds like something you’d say before your die or sumn

but you kiss him and tell him that you love him and he feels so appreciated by you

you both start getting ready for bed

you guys both brush your teeth together and wash your face but he insists that he has to be the one to take off your clothes so you can change

he’s only tryna do stuff （＾ν＾）

but you change into your pjs and of course with the help of Robaire™️

and you guys just lay there in bed talking to each other and cuddling

he’s usually whispering sweet nothings in your ear

usually in french too

bro i swear he wears a bonnet to bed and so do you (especially if your a black reader)

it’s so cute y’all got matching bonnets

but your day ends with you guys being lovey dovey

you guys end up sleeping at 10:12

while driving he has his hand on your thigh

You guys both get woken up from Jesses kids

They come in like a beam of sunshine and then start hopping on the bed

It’s actually terrifying but they’ve been waiting for you two to get up for the longest now

In the morning Jesses voice is very raspy and deep so it takes you a bit by surprise

But he handles the kids so well

“Hey, hey, hey stop jumping. You guys okay??”

He talks to them so nicely even though they just woke him and you up out of his slumber

The kids say that they want some food and he makes a little deal with them

It’s been the same deal for as long as you’ve known

“How about you guys go down to the kitchen we’ll meet you down there”

One day they kids are going to realize that the deal hasn’t changed but they run down stairs and all you can hear is little feet growing distant down the hall

Then after the kids leave he groans and rolls over onto you

He’s a big baby for real

He’ll tell you good morning and kiss you all over your face and squeeze your waist

Sometimes he goes a tad bit to low and then you laugh at him and tell him to stop

he doesn’t just say good morning he’ll be like “Good Morning, my beautiful wife”

When you guys make it downstairs his kids are there waiting with their cups

It’s so cute because they hold their cups with two hands

They usually drink orange juice, milk or water in the morning

He’ll ask them what they want to eat and they have such refined pallets

You were surprised

They like to eat oatmeal and even avocado toast

You and Jesse always joke about how they’re gonna be health influencers in the future

While you guys eat Jesse loves to see you interact with the kids it’s so wholesome and sweet

the kids might ask you a weird question and you just indulge them and he finds that so adorable

or when you act kind of stern with them, he’s completely comfortable with you doing that

for example if they’re arguing over like something small and you check them and tell them to stop he finds that attractive for some reason

around this time you guys are wrapping up breakfast and getting ready for the day

you take the kids upstairs to get them situated while Jesse cleans up a little longer downstairs

y’all work so well together you guys get so much done in such a short amount of time

so after you monitor the kids getting dressed (and i say monitor cause i would like to believe that his kids are at the age of picking out their own outfits yk?? like u gotta make sure they’re not tearing apart their whole wardrobe) you help them wash they teeth and their face

once their finished you go downstairs and damn.

every. damn. morning. he be lookin too damn fine

he’s standing at the sink and he’s not facing you so you get to see his back muscles

and damn.

sometimes he doesn’t wear a shirt to breakfast and this was one of those days

but what you usually do it sneak up behind him and hug him

you rock him back and forth and all he does is just laugh at you cause your so cute

11:18 am

now at this time all of you guys are in the outside garden (fancy right （＾ν＾）)

it’s always so relaxing out there

the kids play and run around while you and jesse watch them and drink some tea or coffee

jesse usually paints around this time, he’s working on trying to paint real life

the garden is a great place to practice that with the beautiful scenery of the flowers, the trees, the lake near your house and you’ve seen in the painting he even painted the kids running

but back at his art studio he has many portraits of you, sometimes your shocked at the amount of detail that’s in it

there was one time he took a picture of you sleeping and then made a portrait out of it and made it look like you were resting in a bed of flowers

embarrassing, but lovely

or sometimes he’ll bring home some pottery that he made and paint on it

you still have many gifts from when you guys were dating that he made, he’s so creative he’s made pottery for you, paintings, jewelry and poems

and you guys do this cute thing where every gift you give each other you give it a name, you guys don’t really remember how that tradition started but it’s still an ongoing thing

12:45pm

after you guys spend time outside everyone comes inside to get a snack or some lunch

and just like at breakfast it’s just an onslaught of questions and stories from the kids

maybe it’s something they learned at school or how they had a conflict with someone

it’s so funny to hear about their conflicts at school because what sound so obvious to you and Jesse might not be so obvious to the kids

but everyday when your at lunch or dinner your surprised each day by how alike they act to Jesse

they talk like him, they’re creative like him, think like him, smile like him, they’re carbon copies at this point

1:15 pm

at this time you start getting the kids ready to go to their babysitter

(on this specific day let’s just say that he’s taking you out on a date for tonight)

Jesse is very protective with his kids so i feel like he very rarely has a baby sitter or has someone look after his kids other than him, except when he rlly had to of course

today is an exception you and jesse plan out your date nights in advance every month

y’all make it like a holiday for you guys to go out somewhere fancy or to do something where you guys can spend the most quality time with each other

2:00 pm

you and jesse start to get ready to have your afternoon/ night out

i imagine that the both of you take forever to get ready to do things, hence the reason why you guys start kinda early

like you guys always show up to functions like an hour late ans people are so confused, they think you just bailed or sumn.

but nah yall just take forever n you take your precious time

usually takes y’all like a few hours

5:28pm

after taking some time to yourself n maybe something else (if yk what i mean (^_-) )

y’all start getting dressed and i feel like as you guys get dressed you okay music

like you guys play different ballads and r&b maybe some rock songs that you guys sing your heart out to

he outsings you of course but he always tells you that your voice sounds heavenly

you both know he’s lying….

unless you can sing ( i wish bro..)

but when a 4town songs starts to play like 1 true love, he gets all shy n shit like he doesn’t want to sing

but you dramatically sing with your hairbrush and he sings the lil adlibs in the back (^з^)-☆

“oh my gosh, you didn’t even sing it the right lyrics”

even though you might mess up the lyrics a little bit he still is gonna call you one of his best fans. (your in competition with his kids ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

but the whole time getting ready it’s very flirty too

he makes comments that make you stare off into space like damn..

sometimes they’re too much and they’re a little toooooo creative

7:23 pm

the play you booked reservations for is like 20 minutes away, n y’all are supposed to be there by 7:45 sooooo

y’all runnin out the house bro

when you guys actually get to the restaurant and get settled y’all are always next to each other

you guys don’t sit across from each other

this is very cute but jesse is so bold bro

he likes to show you off so he’ll be like “you should sit on my lap, your already sitting next to me”

like dawg…..,

somehow he’ll convince you too and if you don’t like PDA he’ll just hold you

but if you don’t mind he’ll kiss your cheek and neck, ass

he won’t stop touching you and even if the waiter comes he’ll rock you back in forth in his arms and kiss your shoulder

when your food comes he’ll try to feed it to you

9:30 pm

at this time you guys have just finished eating and now your walking around town

you guys might stop at the few shops that might be open at this time

or you may get some ice cream (for you guys and the kids)

but the whole time he has this love sick smile, he’s savoring these moments because he knows as a performer he might not spend as much time as he’d like to with you

so moment like these make him so happy

you guys might stop at a bench and talk about aanything and everything under the sun

when you guys were dating you guys used to spend hours on the phone talking about everything and it would be late asf too (cause he put his kids to sleep before he gave you his full attention)

but after you guys realize your ice cream might melt and you need to pick up the kids you start talking and walking to the car, same fluid conversation dawg

10:10pm

when you guys pick up the kids their knocked out asleep so the whole ride home they’re sleep

when you guys arrive home you put the kids asleep and head off to get ready for bed

you guys aren’t so tired so you guys go watch a movie, a romantic movie （＾ν＾）

just like in the restaurant he can’t stop touching you, he claims it’s your aura, and when he says it he says it in a weird/funny way

just laugh at him bro

but after that you guys go to sleep or keep on talking till you sleep

Aaron Z is always like that dad that always says he’s not tired but when he actually falls asleep and the people around him tell him, all he says is,“i was just resting my eyes”. everyone knows he’s lying. even him.

but moments like that weren’t often to really see, it wasn’t really often to see him sleep at all. the members would know, especially Aaron T, that if he doses off that like he must be VERY tired.

10/16/2001 was the day that you and Aaron had went over to Aaron T’s apartment for a little get together. Aaron T is always having little get together a with the members, some days they last until sunrise and all you guys do is just talk (maybe even sing and dance).

On this specific day, Aaron Z, your boyfriend had stayed up so late. he knew that you guys had to go out that evening too but even after trying convincing him to sleep he still was still pushing himself to work even more.

“Aaron, you should take a nap or something” you say while rubbing his back. “wait, wait just a few more minutes”, he says while adjusting one more thing on his computer.

at that point you just gave up because you knew he wasn’t going to go to sleep. Later that night you and Z made your way to T’s and you could already see the bags under his eyes. he was so sleepy.

“i told you you should’ve slept”, you say repeatedly to which he only agrees with you and nods his head. he knows you were right but he was just to focused on what he was working on, he had tunnel vision for real.

after around 30 minutes of being there and getting settled in on the couch you could see him drifting off asleep.

“Z!!!” taeyoung yells,“Don’t go to sleep!!!” “I’m not, i’m not!” Z says always cranky too. “you just closing your eyes?” robaire says back “mhm” is all Z would say as he falls back asleep.

the group would just continue doing what they’re doing while Z gets his beauty rest. As the guys were starting to turn on a movie you started to realize how tired you were too. the whole time you were trying to convince Z to sleep you were up too.

so what do you do? what everyone else would’ve done. cuddled up right next to him.

I Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You~

how aaron z and robaire stare at you.

Robaire

a random trip to france was not what you were expecting but non the less you were very happy. you saw so many new things and tried many new things as well. shit was straight out of a movie for real (the irony..)

everything was so beautiful and Robaire couldn’t seem to take his eyes off of you the smile on your face was one to light up a room. sometimes to startle you he would creep up behind you and put his hands on you hips and whisper sweet nothings in french (i’m such a hopeless romantic). he’d often do this while you were getting ready to go in front of the mirror or when you were looking over a view of the beautiful city of love.

the look on your face he couldn’t help but get butterflies. he sings songs about love but since when do love songs feel like this?

you always look at his expressions and see the way he looks at you. it’s like the first time you guys met all over again. such softness and amazement. like when you go to a museum and you see a piece that’s really beautiful. you take in every detail of that piece and try to look for the beautiful imperfections. until someone points it out to you or you find it and it makes you have even more gratitude for the piece.

he looks at you like you are artwork and when you stand there next to the ocean with a smile on your face he can’t help but stare at you like you’re so delicate.

he looks at you like you are a piece of art.

Aaron Z

often you guys go to little movie drive ins. not only is it just time to sit in the backseat of his car and cuddle, it’s an escape from being famous. it makes him feel like he doesn’t have millions of people who watch his every move.

you guys had planned to watch a comedy movie but it turned out you guys had actually came to the wrong place of the drive in and ended up watching a horror movie, terrifying experience. it didn’t help that it was 2AM either, but you both had each other.

the ride back was just blasting music like PARTYNEXTDOOR, Bryson Tiller, and Cigarettes after sex (let’s just say this was in 2022). the highway was empty but you and Aaron were very much awake. He suggests that you guys go to a secret spot and watch the stars before going back home, to which you of course agreed.

when you guys arrived to the place he popped open the trunk and you guys sat there and watched the stars. they were glowing so bright he swore you put them there, and he swore he saw the whole galaxy in your eyes that night. you were so lovely seeing you relaxed and at ease.

he looked at you very closely like if he had to look away you’d be gone. he loved having you there the way you held him and treated him with such love was something he could always get used to. he didn’t want you to go. he only got even more flustered when you told him “take a picture it’ll last longer”. he didn’t hesitate.

he looks at you and all he can this is how precious you are. thats how he looks at you. he looks at you like how you look at your favorite character in a book, you completely adore them and you can easily think about all the things that make you love them so much, and while doing so it makes you smile. sometimes it’s embarrassingly cheesy smile but how could you help it when they’re just so.. them.

he looks at you like he adore you. truly.

Jesse enjoys having your around.. he swear he does. he takes you on trips, he introduced you to his kids, you even got to meet 4town, his mom, dad and even his girlfriend. Although he loves you, he can’t help but admit he loves his actual girlfriend too. He’s made it very clear to you (without him actually saying) that you’re the bottom bitch, and you just have to deal with it.

Don’t get me wrong he enjoys your company.. He truly does but whenever you ask him to break up the the so called girlfriend he actually “loves”, he just gets defensive and retaliates. It’s as if he’s almost tries to blame you for being with him, while he has a girlfriend. And usually when you do get into arguments about the girlfriend, it’s loud and fiery and goes in this cycle: argue, apologize, sex. It’s been like this for about..like.. 2 years.

you find him seated at the foot of the bed hunched over with his hands on his face. “Y/N, if you want to bitch and moan you can leave”

“y/n, if you honestly feel the way you feel right now.. then just leave.. right now” he shrugs as if it was simple, as if he hasn’t marked and changed 2 years of your life. “y/n you’re just simply asking for a lot right now as if I haven’t been risking my reputation for you”

“what do you mean i’m-i’m just trying to understand you..” you’re holding back tears and slowly raising your voice “ i knew you.. i know you, you’ve been so distant from me and you’ve been hiding me and fucking using me.. all i’m asking from you is to open up..”

“stop with that I love you shit.. okay”

at this point you’re crying. everything hurts. all of the times ans moments you’ve shared with each other werent truely werent significant enough in his eyes. you still ended up in his bed later that night but the mind numbing ideas and beliefs about wanting to know him more and have this meaningless sex turn into a beautiful relationship plagued your mind. because hell, Jesse was your dream dude. But at some point you need to wake up and realize, that you were the bottom bitch that wanted more.. and truth be told what did you expect? Love was not an option for you and Jesse no matter how many times this nigga crossed your mind.

yess!!! im also gonna write how he confesses to you ^_^

i imagine you guys meeting at a fancy party

you got dragged along by your friend, you honestly didn’t want to go, but who could pass us the opportunity to get free food

when you guys finally arrive at the fancy dinner (after spending like hours getting ready), your friend lowkey leaves you to go talk to her other friends

you started to follow along but then you just figured what’s the point and moved to the bar

it was pretty chill, you stayed on your phone but you were a little hurt that your friend left you

after a little bit of scrolling though your instagram feed, you hear someone say “excuse me”

“oh yeah my bad” you say and move a little over to give the person more room. they sit down next to you. there’s some more silence but you don’t really mind, you don’t even know this person.

“hey, uhm, what drink is that?” the person asks. you look up at them and you think ‘damn they look familiar’. “it’s presseco” you answer with a smile. “is it good, im not sure what i should get”. “Yeah it’s good, you’d should add some ginerale to it, then it’ll taste much better”, the person smiles back at you and says “thank you”.

now you could’ve sworn you’ve seen him before. it’s eating at you.. where have you seen him.. school? no..instagram.. probably.

the person orders their drink and takes a sip, “oh, i see what you like now”, they says chuckling but you couldn’t help but feel butterflies from the way they said it. “yep, it’s good right?” “yes, i’d try this again”

there’s some more silence, and you’re a bit scared to ask for their name so you just hold off.

“what’s your name?” the person asks. “Oh my name is y/n”. “nice to meet you y/n,” the person puts their hand out for you to grab. you put your hand out and you both shake hands. “my name is Robaire”. “nice to meet you” you smile.

you could’ve sworn he looked a little bit surprised after you said that, you didn’t know why. “so do you come to these events often?” you laugh a bit from how cliche the question is. “no not really, my friend dragged me along, usually at this time i’d be playing a video game or something”. he chuckles a bit, “yeah me too, i came here with some of my friends”. “that’s nice”. there’s some more awkward silence.

“so.. not to sound blunt but why’d you come over the the bar, and not stick with your friends?”. he picks up his drink and takes a sip, “well i got into a little argument with one of my friends, so i’m just cooking off. I think we just needed to calm down, we’re both stressed” he says. You can’t help but realize how collected he sounds, he’s so understanding. “hmm, i see, stressed from work or?” “yeah, work” he says, it sounded like he didn’t want to talk to much about it.

“well.. at least your here with me”, you pick up your drink with a smile and raise for a cheers. he follows suit. “cheers tooo?” you drag out the last word so he can finish the sentence. “to new friends”, he smiles and you guys cheers.

After a few hours of talking to Robaire, you realize more and more how attractive he is, and how cool he is too.

he mentions all the places he’s been to and all the people he’s met

honestly you thought he was a fuckboy

you guys end the night with exchanging numbers and from that day on you guys talked more

you still haven’t brought up where you think you’ve seen him before and honestly you don’t feel like asking either

2 years later

you and him are really good friends now, ans you also know what he does for his job

he’s a famous entertainer

your friend was so mad at you, because you didn’t know who he was when you guys first met

he told you he was scared to bring it up the first few weeks of talking because he didn’t want you to use him

you completely understood and still stuck around (and he fell deeper in love dawg)

one day he invite you out to dinner, it wasn’t anything special but he tells you to wear running shoes.

honestly you got scared

you guys arrived at the dinner spot and everything was chill, it was a dinner spot that he loved to go to and he got really cool with the owners as well so you guys could get a spot away from the public.

the whole dinner was smooth and nothing out of the ordinary. the only think that you noticed was that he was acting a bit weird. like very shy.

a few weeks ago you noticed it, and even when he was around the other 4*town members they would act a little bit suspicious as well. but today. he was acting totally different.

“hey so why did i need to wear specifically running shoes?” you ask. “well we’re gonna go on a walk after dinner” “robaire.. are you planning to kill me”. he laughs and says “no no no, i just gotta show you something”

after you guys finish eating, he looks so eager. so much so that he almost forgets to pay. but as you guys are walking to the spot you notice why he said to bring running shoes. you feet were killing you. it wasn’t even like you were out in the woods or nun. y’all were in the city streets walking, and at the time you don’t know if he did this on purpose trying to get you tired but lord have mercy it was tiring.

you guys end up stopping at some park. you guys find a bench to sit at and he points down to some flower on the ground. “this is what i wanted to show you”. you look at him like he’s crazy. “..t-the flower?”. “yes, i know it may seem weird but listen. what do you think is so different about this flower” “uhm… “, you look around to see if there is anything different. you lowkey irritated, your tired and exhausted and now he got you playing blues clues?. “i don-” your sentence is cut short when he kisses you.

you just look at him. your shocked. “y/n..” “y-yes” “will you date with me?”. you’re shocked completely and confused. but at the same time everything makes sense: why he was acting so weird, why he was being so shy, so fidgety. “yes” you smile.

he kisses you again and he’s saying over and over again “for real?”.

you ask him why he showed you a flower and he tells you about how he wants that flower to represent your guys relationship, he wants it to grow into a beautiful flower

he’s such a romantic lord have mercy
