The start
Tumblr media
Kita pun Survey mencari kelas Jepun.
ICLS masa tu amat mahal
kelas di tempat ni mahal
Kelas menarik ni dekat office
Kelas yg professional bersebelah juga
Selepas survey cuba la kan. Gaji dah ok, kerja pun "OK"
Anda mesti bertanya kenapa?
Harga murah mengajar pun orang Jepun.
Murah kerana saya cari PRIVATE CLASS bukan group kelas.
buku fotostat MINNA NO NIHONGO.... Yes, Photostat... kalau JELAS no problem, ni TAK JELAS.
Tumblr media
Kita mula walaupun dgn semangat semua. Lupakan dunia seketika dan study. Stress mmg ada tapi kena lalui.
Selepas beberapa bulan baru tahu, mereka tak pandai mengajar 1 to 1. Mereka lebih kepada classroom. Tanda-tanda negatif keluar, kerja di pejabat semakin teruk sehingga syarikat kononnya nak jimat kos. Tanda-tanda tak baik kelas 1 to 1 dah bermula.
Saya tak diberikan full Hiragana classes.
Sensei tukar sensei, xde feedback. Aku mcm blur jap.
Sensei selepas tu kena balik ke 日本 Japan sekejap. Jadi saya digantikan oleh pelajar ni, alangkah sedih kerana pelajar ni amat boleh kata menurunkan semangat belajar bahasa Jepun. Setiap kali dia marah, apa ni tulisan mcm cakar ayam, excuse me saya tak diberi latihan hiragana dan katakana. Ada satu lagi juga tapi saya tak nak cerita kerana tak sesuai, nak marah pun tak nak tetapi itulah bak kata 先生 yg mengajar kita sekarang "Berkat dan keikhlasan mengajar,"
Lastly, work pun dah toxic. Suffered too much.
In the end, selepas berhenti atau Syahid Pertama. Saya tak suka atau anti buku Minna No Nihongo
i stopped it.
percayalah, lama gak nak sampai part 2 of my journey.

Mirgation is a key aspect of human life, and a universal commonality in the United States. The lineage of everybody in this county comes from somewhere else. Whether that be the forced relocation of slavery, or the willing migration of other groups throughout our history. Even the Native Americans immigrated here via land bridge 30,000 years ago. America truly is a country of immigrants, though many like to pretend that it isn't. Immigration continues to be a common reality of this country to this day. People immigrate to America for a variety of different reasons. Everyone's story is different, with many factors at play that informed their decision. My friend Kai is one such person. He has given me permission to share his story here.
Kai's mom's is from okinawa Japan, and his Dad is from hawaii. They met eachother when his Dad joined the airforce and was stationed in Okinawa. Eventually Kai was born in Japan. He grew up speaking Japanese in japanese daycare, though he started learning english at age 5 when he went to school on the military base. After he started school, he didn't speak Japanese regularly until he was 13 after he started studyingJapanese for school. Kai attended American schools in Japan until 12 grade and decided to go to Hawaii for college.
This decision to move countries was informed by a few factors. Most importantly was the fact that he already knew how to speak English fluently due to his time in American Schools at the military base. Monetarily it was informed due to the fact that he got a full scholarship to the school he would be attending, and that he had family in Hawaii that he could stay with.
As he was finishing college, his Dad got stationed in Annapolis Maryland. His parents wanted him to come with them as they are very close to eachother and as Kai described them, slightly overbearing. He ended up moving to Maryland with them just before Covid started.
People's decisions to immigrate are rooted in many different factors. In Kai's case, it was socially, monetarily, and culturally convenient for him to move to the United States. He also faced little adversity during his relocation due to his military upbringing.

漢字 = too hot for tumblr.
So tumblr removed a video of me highlighting some kanji on a paper because it was “adult content”.
While kanji is exciting, I wouldn’t say it’s that exciting.

The Path to Japanese Fluency 26/12/19
I haven’t posted in forever! Sorry Luis haha.
My Japanese journey is going well, I still study every day (around 3 hours a day or more). The only difference lately is I’ve been slowing down my grammar studies to focus on other areas of Japanese. That’s not to say I’m ahead in my grammar studies... I’m actually not yet done with N4 grammar. As for Wanikani, I’m now level 18. I bought Lifetime subscription since there’s an ongoing sale and it ended up being really inexpensive. What I can say so far is I think that Wanikani is well worth it. Based on wkstats I have been using Wanikani for 156 days now, and I know around 600 kanji and almost two thousand words. I know some other vocabulary thanks to Anki but I think just in terms of Wanikani progress I’m pretty satisfied with this pace. I know if you’re really fast you can get to level 60 in Wanikani in around a year, at that point you will have learned around 2000 kanji and 6000 vocabulary words (4k of those are in 10k core lists btw). As for me, I’m not really rushing and I expect to hit lvl 60 in a little under two years (total). I should be hitting level 35 before my trip to Japan this Summer so that’s good enough for me. I rather rush less and spend some of that time playing video games in Japanese.
On that note, the games I’m currently (trying to) play:
Story of Seasons: Friends of the Mineral Town
Pokemon Shield Progress:
Wanikani lvl 18
Bunpro N4 75/168 Lin’s tip of the day: if the app/website you use has audio, always try to repeat what you hear. Repeat it often. Try to repeat while reading along and once you’re confident enough try to say it without reading. This tactic is known as “shadowing” and it can help you remember vocabulary and grammar patterns!

Introduction
Pengenalan diri.
Nama: Mungkin anda tahu
Penyakit Mental: ADHD, Depression and Trauma
Jenis Keluarga: Toxic
Kalau saya nak mula ajak panjang kisahnya.
Arwah ayah meninggal dunia sewaktu SPM. Memang jatuh dengan depression dan anxiety. Mood pun tiada.
Byk salah rupanya.
"WHERE DO YOU ALL STUDY?"
kita menjawab la
"OH LOCAL, NO WONDER YOUR MINDS ARE NOT OPEN MINDED!"
Saya tak ingin bercerita lagi sebab ramai yang saya jumpa ni kebanyakan not nice. Adeh.
Bila bekerja baru dapat belajar Bahasa Jepun. Itupun ada dugaannya. Nanti saya akan cerita pada post seterusnya.
