We won’t get Inej’s backstory on screen. Amita won’t get to see her hard work finished, none of them will. We won’t get to see Wylan’s backstory on screen. We won’t get more of Inej and Nina’s friendship or Kaz and Jespers or Matthias interacting with the rest of the Crows.

These dedicated, phenomenal actors have been robbed. We’ve been robbed.

Geeked Week 2023.

It's Geeked Week 2023. Yeah it is. There have been announcements, and lots of 'em. Here, there, and not to mention everywhere. And there will be more—much, much more. There's 3 Body Problem, Dragon Prince,  Avatar: The Last Airbender, Umbrella Academy, and anime aplenty. Sound good? Of course it does. It sounds extremely good. 

So join in the pandemonium at #geeked week, and a Merry Geeked Week 2023 to all who celebrate.

It doesn’t even matter if I particularly cared for a show I’ll always be devastated for the fans of any show that gets cancelled. I understand that there’s financial reasons as to why a show may not be allowed to continue but at this point streaming platforms need to be asking themselves why is it that they’re cancelling all these shows? If they want a hit show it has to be given time to grow and develop its audience. And then regardless of that fact, people who have invested their time in a story deserve to see its completion. It’s so undeniably evil for corporations to continue to axe shows without warning not just for the fans of the show, but for everyone involved as well. The emotion and heart put into these pieces of media is always so visible and it’s soul crushing watching an industry throw it away. Fans and creatives deserve to see stories told with a complete arc because otherwise why are we bothering with these streaming platforms?

Yes, shame Netflix! Shame them into giving something a third season!

Kaz Brekker doesn't have manners? The fact that he immediately turned away to give her privacy when she started removing only a small part of her clothes shows that he has manners when he wants to. No one can understand Inej's trauma better than Kaz and give her the respect she deserves.

New strategy: Get Season 1 of Shadow and Bone trending in the Netflix Top 10!

Recent intel has uncovered a game-changing strategy: Netflix tracks metrics for each season of a show separately, meaning we must channel our collective strength into making Season 1 of Shadow and Bone trend on Netflix! Streaming Season 2 as well only divides our efforts, so for this week (Dec. 11-17) only stream Season 1 of Shadow and Bone on Netflix. Do not stream Season 2 this week!

Whether you’re actively watching the show or streaming it in the background, make sure the volume is on (lowest setting or plugging in earphones works if you need quiet), and don’t skip through to your favorite parts. The show must be watched all the way through, from start to finish. Also, make sure you stream a short episode of a different show between rewatching the season so Netflix doesn’t think you’re a bot!

Why Streaming Matters:

1. High streaming numbers signal a revenue stream Netflix has underestimated.

2. Lots of complete views show fans are deeply engaged vs. casually tuning in.

3. Concrete data is a language Netflix understands. Let’s speak it fluently!

When NBC canceled Manifest, their fans got it trending in the Netflix Top 10, which had a lot to do with Netflix saving their show. We got Shadow and Bone trending as the #1 show on Netflix before, so we can get back into the Top 10 again! We need 230,000 full season views of Shadow and Bone Season 1 THIS WEEK! That seems like a daunting task, but considering we have more than 175,000 signatures on our petition, it is possible to achieve it if we all work together!

If Netflix wants to play games with their so-called algorithms, we can game the system, too. Channel your inner Kaz Brekker, and let’s do this!

After waiting months and months for the Six of Crows spinoff I am devastated. They have the perfect cast and a script already written, but Netflix would rather hoard it in the dark forever (legally they own it so the writers cannot release the script).

I love these characters and this story, and I have been waiting for this for so long that I am absolutely not about to let this go.

It may not seem like much, but it is one of few methods to have our voices heard. Make some noise on your socials! Also, now is the time to stream- rope your friends/families into pity-watching it
