More to come maybe. But for THIS lil guy this is a smaller forest variety who  prefers to eat nectar but will go for fruits, fungi, carrion, or any thing they can really fancy. They're about 2 feet at the shoulder and weigh 200ish pounds. Think a pig sized animal. They're not very aggressive and live in small groups, comprising of 1-3 males and females and their offspring. Speaking of they have litters of 3-6, with babies living off a delicious diet of regurgitated mom's dinner. Nature is beautiful.

I haven’t done any cemetery photography in a while, but here’s a sombre treat from the Old Kirk at Stow. Most of the stones were newer than I ususally like (mostly ~19thc), but there was a lot of nice lead lettering like you see here.  The kirkyard was attractively overgrown, but obviously still mowed & well looked after.

time to BRANCH OUT with some animals from chimera land

so one of the main animals in Mirum(Chimeras home continent) are the stow. Which are a type of big ole synapsid. Very mammal adjacent but with some obvious differences, like they don’t produce milk and have very little hair. 

These are Plains Stow, a v common sight mowing the grass. They are herbivorous but have a very low tolerance for anyone in their near vicinity. So they tend to attack when agitated but will hold their ground when they feel truly threatened. They live in mixed gender herds and have litters of 3-4 babs at a time. That’s the basic gist! 

Also the horns are strictly for display, they attack with a sharp beak instead. It’s between their lips and teeth and requires A DIAGRAM.
