not wanting to wish away our seasons etc but we had a really beautiful & warm week & now we’re stuck on two weeks of cold with flurries and frozen ground…wind so bitter and vicious it turns my hands red immediately. it is both exhausting me & making it hard for me to feel like i can fully stretch my legs

#u guys totally want to see this I promise #I had sUCH a good day on Saturday holy shit #literally jumping around and dancing and talking abt frogs all day #it was SO much fun holy shit #I am slightly sore today after the fact #but it was barely painful and so much fun yesterday #I can’t wait for them to share the Official Photos they took during the event #I’ve got some silly ones from coworkers tho and they’re great #I made my own frog feet shoe covers to complete the look and it was like wearing diving flippers I had to walk super funny to keep them up #so they didn’t drag or get bent on the ground bc it was just cardboard and duct tape #I was SO hyper all day I could not stop giggling and dancing and wiggling and jumping #it took until like midnight to wind down enough for sleep #I showered and had a cup of tea and was still giggly #I have not had that feral energy in a long while #im a rambling Sam

I like the one at town center plaza better

My body hurts so much

#i always do this to myselfff aughaaa #i laze around for months then proceed make myself sore for the next few days #i went batting (and was fucking awesome at it cough cough) then i went on and on and on and on that i cant move #i pulled the same thing last summer too only difference is i can actually get up and still walk #but doing so hurts so much. trying to hold a door #hold a water bottle or pencil or climb a ladder makes me wanna cry from pain #i cant move a limb a couple inches without feeling like i got shot #tried opening milk carton eariler and biting my tongue to not scream loll. aaaah this sucks #im fine i just think this hilarious as fuck and so inconvenient lol #i think my stance was wrong and im an incredible weak person and against a 50-70 mph throwing machine #i was lucky the “super fast” cage was closed cuz I wouldve been all over that and truly fucking up my body #and id do it again :)))) hopefully in the summer when i dont work #flame vents #flame rambles

woke in the middle of the night with a sudden and extremely sharp muscle spasm in my leg and this morning i have a headache too. when i said i would make it through this weekend if it kills me i was being FACETIOUS

#i wanna talk about me #tossed and turned a ton too. i still got sleep but it was not what you would call peaceful #i'm sure one part of that was aching leg from random fucking charley horse. one part was nerves #and one part was just the thunderstorm outside being noisy #sasha speaks #i think i'll be okay i haven't tried to walk much yet but my leg doesn't feel so sore that i won't be able to stand for my rehearsal #last time i got one of these cramps i was limping for two days it was nuts...

beating the not having a life and only watching movies allegations by missing a day of watching movies because i went shopping in town and then called and watched videos with my bf for the rest of the night <3 & today was a beautiful good day full of love and laughter :)

#i walked around and hung out in town with my mom (it was sooooo hot and i am still very sore and tired from it but it was good to get out)#and got many cool lil things and trinkets today from the thrift store and came home to my light my joy and got to laugh and smile all night #the only person in the world who has ever made my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling so much over the coarse of a few hours #in literal tears in the best way and happens almost every time... twice i thought id throw up from laughing so hard hes my joy <3 #sawryyyy i know im corny but i love him he makes my days brighter and is still my favorite part of my days full of other favorite things #also the person i always wanna come home to and make time for and spend time with even after a long tiring day... my whole body hurts SO BAD

#my back hurts pretty bad. i can tune it out a little but not ignore it. i think this is making the rest of my spine really tense? and #shoulders too? and i’ve also been getting headaches almost every day #im still a little sick but it’s probably just gonna linger until i can rest which can’t happen for a few more days (i say this like #every week though no?)#hands and wrists are like. bad worse than usual #like both numb and painful and it’s taking a lot more focus to do things nimbly or not stop stuff #*drop stuff #ankles have kinda been sore i think just from walking so much which is manageable #but it’s hard with everything else rn. also i think i kinda pulled something yesterday because i almost hit it onto the concrete while #almost BIT IT not hit #walking at night #felt like a pull? but it was painless but then i ran across the street and a numbness shot up my leg #and it’s a little tingly today #i think i need to build some more core strength honestly #and get enough sleep more than one night per week #also probably more stretches for hands and wrists #ideally i’d also love to not be enormously stressed but i do not see this happening!#im actually less stressed this week but i think the months and months if not years have done their damage #also getting beat up for fun. which i think is objectively funny to layer over all this but yknow. i think that detracts from my overall #stress & doesn’t contribute to bad exhausting pain #(-:<

my body needs to get its shit together lmao

#text post #ive always needed rest days after days with a lot of activity but fuck me #i feel like ive got a cold or something with the fatigue and body aches going on like bro #we just did the beach walk then a couple stores then home!! that's nothing come the fuck on!!#but even after resting up yesterday from stuff on sunday (which even with this body stuff I'd do again in a heartbeat. was a good day 🥰)#im still utterly sore and achy and exhausted and it feels utterly ridiculous #im not wheezing like i was yesterday but i just. this isn't right!!!#i feel WORSE than i did when we went to bed but i was just chilling trying to write #and watching secret sleepover society vods like i was literally just sitting there!!!#but i had to resist the urge to skip my shower and just sleep there on my bedroom floor bc #moving is Effort and Ow and i know i gotta keep addressing my internalised ableism #and that accepting when my body needs extra rest is part of it but sometimes i just #everyone told me as long as i kept trying to exercise and eat as best i could (difficult w/all my food shit but i do my best)#that as i got older this stuff would go away #i would acclimate and feel better #instead housemate has helped me confirm our wondering during my trip last year as to if i have asthma #which considering ae does and my symptoms all mirror aer's asthma symptoms to a t i mean. there ya go #add in lingering long covid symptoms and im just not doing as well as i want to be physically and idk how to help it #when a lot of it is stuff that's gone undiagnosed or untreated for years like. the damage to my body is already done #the future i was promised if i tried my best for my body probably never actually existed and like the adults telling me to work harder #had no way to know that technically but also. id be lying if i said im not struggling with and mourning that rn #which feels selfish and silly bc im alive and able enough to get around on my own and i have ppl who care for and help me #but im still sat here like. i want to spend all day walking the beach with a friend and NOT pay for it the next few days damn it

It was a whole festival and there was even carnival food there so I had a giant elephant ear in my hand the whole time 😆. The hiking trip nearly killed my legs but the waterfalls were absolutely gorgeous! I got super up close to them so I got soaked by the water lol

#another self care day for me!#i'm gonna play a game and then later i'll go my dads and watch a film #i slept well last night! my mum gave me a pillow she had spare and I stg it's magic i've slept through the night all week #without waking up a ton of times 😭 normally my sleep is awful #feeling a little sore from my strength workout yesterday so i'm gonna be having a day of rest #i'm not a massive workout person i do it 4 days a week and I walk a lot but i don't go the gym i aint paying #i lifted my dad's 30kg weights and my nephew was amazed lmao 😭#he's 2 but its still cute #anyway!!! anyone got any plans for today??? i hope you all have a lovely day! ilyyy #well i try to workout 4 days a week my low mood has made me slack lately but that's fine #hoping to get some new tennis and badminton equipment soon so i can spend the summer on the courts!
