no matter how the two of you get together, reo is somehow involved LMAOAOAO like bro is ALWAYS at the scene of the crime in some way shape or form just because i don’t think nagi would really pick up on the fact that he has a crush on you without outside intervention

it would also definitely be a jump scare when he confesses!! you would have zero idea it’s coming because he literally hasn’t changed how he acts towards you whatsoever

canonically he doesn’t really interact with a lot of people or have a lot of friends and he’s not aggressive with romance so i just don’t think he’d really know what the appropriate method of telling someone you like them is

would probably say some shit like “reo says i have a crush on you” and would be so nonchalant about it meanwhile you’re like “???” because you did not even realize he knew your name and also why is reo being brought up

i honestly think he would not be a bad boyfriend. yes he is lazy and unmotivated but he does what he needs to do and if something is important to him he generally puts in effort for it

that’s another reason why it would take him foreverrr to ask you out — he would have to like you enough that he realizes he does in fact want to have a relationship with you even if it is a hassle

he doesn’t have social media though so don’t expect there to be an official announcement that you guys are together or anything like that HAHA

he would probably forget to tell anyone that the two of you are dating and it’s not because he’s ashamed of you or is trying to hide you or anything he literally just does not care what other people think and would prefer not to talk them if possible so it never comes up

you’ll show up to an event with him and everyone’s like “omg nagi who is this” and he’s like “this is my girlfriend” and someone (probably otoya tbh) is like “since when have you had a girlfriend” and he’s like “it’s been two years 😐”

i think he would be fire at insulting people just because of how many video games he plays…that man has seen some of the worst sides of humanity

the world is lucky he’s a pacifist and avoids conflict because he has some vile stuff stored away (i will never be over him asking barou if he practiced kneeling because he’s about to make him his servant)

this particular quality makes him the BEST person to talk shit with

he’s not a gossipy boyfriend in the sense that he doesn’t have anything juicy of his own to contribute to the conversation but i’m pretty sure he mentioned he watches dramas at one point so you know he’s locked tf in if you need to complain abt someone

he will sit there and be so invested in the tea…def would not give any useful advice but he will make fun of anyone bothering you so you still end up feeling better

i don’t think he would get jealous honestly

the thought of you cheating on him doesn’t cross his mind at all because why would he date someone he didn’t trust fully???

i would say he expects the same from you because he would but at the same time he voluntarily talks to one (1) other person besides you and that’s reo so the opportunity for you to be jealous just wouldn’t even crop up

definitely super clingy and cuddly

loves being babied too

according to epnagi he has this whole automatic system in his apartment to clean and do laundry and i think he’d be fine if you appropriate that so no more cleaning!! but you will have to cook because that man literally only eats fruit jellies

genuinely how is he so built and not dying of malnutrition SKJFDSHKJ

he probably is terrible at coming up with date ideas so it’s up to you to plan things

again it’s not malicious i think for him just spending time with you is his ideal date!! like he doesn’t see the point in getting dressed up and going somewhere fancy when you could just eat at home and be comfortable together

but if it’s an important day or you tell him that you want him to suggest something for once, he WILL go all out (which means calling reo for advice and doing what he tells him to)

overall communication is key with him. he’s not particularly sensitive or in tune with other people’s emotions so being passive aggressive or expecting him to read your mind will honestly just end up making your mood worse because he will not pick up on the fact that something is wrong

but if you tell him what you want him to change he will happily do it!! he just needs to be told very clearly if you’re upset or need him to do something different

honestly it would be very refreshing. there are zero games with nagi and he doesn’t really try to hide anything — what you see is what you get 100% of the time

overall 10/10 would date idc haters dni he’s a sweetheart and he’s doing his best

When I first started the game as Tav back in August 2023 I had zero expectations. I definitely didn't foresee falling for Astarion as hard or relating to his story as much as I did.

Still, for many months a question kept creeping back into my head: "Do I want to be with Astarion or do I want to be HIM?".

The answer came quite unexpectedly in my Durge run as I met Gortash in Act 3. Playing as Tav I didn't really pay him much attention tbh. He was just... there I guess? As were Ketheric and Orin. Then I saw Enver as Durge and my whole world changed. Those eyes, that damn smile. What was going on between these two? I had to know. As I learned more and more I found myself completely infatuated with Enver Gortash, Archduke of my heart.

It all made sense after all. I must admit irl I have a type. I love tall dark men with green/blue eyes, a prominent nose and a rough, raggedy rockstar vibe. I love geeky guys who work in IT/science. I have a thing for face scars and deep buttery voices. I love leather, gold, skull decor and people who are confident enough to stand out. I love Gortash and I will no longer be silent about it.

Things I know about BG3:

- almost nothing except basic DnD combat&characters knowledge, and I tried to avoid spoilers

- karlach x wyll is a ship the fandom is sleeping on

yeah, couldn't keep my hands to myself and checked out their story and how are people missing out on them? Oh, well, at the very least they are amazing BFFs, have personal stories very much tied to each other, and have great dynamic between the two. I am just choosing to see all of that through the shipping glasses, but lemme tell you, they enhance the show a lot

Man. I just get so actually legitimately sad each time I remember that toh ended and that we live in the post-toh world. Like it really is over.

Ms Dana Terrace has said that she'd like to do more given the chance (and after some quality time off of bigger projects, just to chill), but as far as we know, it's the end.

Heck, we barely got anything after the final episode, no books, no special merch, no dedicated little chibi shorts, nothing really, aside from the, thankfully fun, get-togethers of the cast and crew!

Idk. Ah well actually nah, I do know, that this show just meant an enormous lot to me. Incredibly huge, the kind that you can't break away from and wouldn't want to anyway. The kind that feels like, man, where would I be without it.

Happy 1 Year, to the end of The Owl House. Thank you, The Owl House.

Your swsh art always makes me want to replay the game because i love it and its my favorite pokemon game and every time i play another pokemon game i think of it how i miss certain elements from swsh. Then i boot up the game and im once again caught in the 1 hour 40 minutes hand held intro and im like ah- now i remember why i have been playing other pokemon games instead of this one. there is some symbolism iv never considered in that one episod of pt5 where zenigata rescues fujiko before she kills lupin

#there are many timelines and variations in lupin as a serie so that every ship could work #in my own prefered timeline lupin finally gets the hint that fujiko plays him like a fiddle #to me she does like him but he is an instrument to her #she is cold hearted and calculating and always thinking about relationships in terms of profit #i got some ideas abt her background that justify this. essentially she kills the detective that is after her and with that kills #the soft part of her that she couldnt control before #eventually and despite his affection lupin gives up the objectifications and the desires he projects onto fujiko #whom uses his delusions like a master tbh #thus allowing himself to consider zenigata. he plays with zenigata the way fujiko plays with him #hes just not as calculating. he feels pity and remorse where fujiko doesnt #he finds the thrills and the doubts and the lack of trust and the risk of betrayal in zenigata. the things that he loves the most #he isnt about stability. he thrives in the unknown. he loves that zenigata could backstab him and does so sometimes #and in that lack of stabilty some form of stability builds up. there is familiarity #and most importantly there are rare times when they can put the game aside and just chill #just enough to gather the energy to go back to trying to kill each other #plus zenigata pampers him during those breaks and he loves that #he acts with carelessness but he does care. in that regard he looses to fujiko #at least thats how she sees it. he doesnt see caring as a flaw #and zenigata is so sweet. he really is. and lupin loves to stirr up the crazy in him #fucking loonies the both of them #so in essence zenigata doesnt really 'save' him from fujiko but he becomes lupins new favourite toy to throw around #fujiko is only upset that because of that ugly looser of a detective her grip on lupin is loosening #she does find ways to use that newly developed affection luzeni has to her advantage thou #lupin is still her instrument she just drags zenigata along now #fujiko is such a good and interesting character and deserves so much better honestly #despite my love for TWCFM i wish there was another serie centralized around her where her ruthlessness is examined #and her cunning is studied. and the proper law enforcement she should face the same way lupin does #shes like a million times smarter and more ressourceful than him. steals much more. embezzles. manipulate #lupin is just a small time pickpocket next to her. she isnt about stealing a painting shes about emptying the pockets of the richest men in #the world. her goals are much more ambitious

medieval chess au….? that sounds so cool

so originally i wanted to do some kind of historical au for chess set during the medieval era, but the more i looked into it the more i realized that trying to do something like that in a real world context while still keeping the same real world political context (apolitical chess is just not as interesting to me tbh) just wasn't going to work, so instead i decided to do what george r.r. martin did when he was writing game of thrones and use real world history (game of thrones was largely inspired by the war of the roses) and real world politics within the context of a fantasy setting, so the main conflict is still east vs west, but it's the eastern kingdoms vs the western kingdoms.

freddie is ser fredrick, the gilded lion, born and raised in the golden city (the main seat of power among the western kingdoms similar to king's landing, located by the sea) to become king, beloved by most while also being regarded as a petulant child that (seemingly) hasn't had to deal with any real hardship, and then across the emerald sea are the eastern kingdoms, a colder, harsher climate compared to the western kingdoms, which is where prince anatoly, the black prince (or the white wolf, depending on who you talk to), lives with his wife, svetlana, and his advisor, aleksander molokov, who himself was born in the small settlement of alexandrovitch, located just outside the black gates, which separates the northernmost mountain range and the freefolk lands from the rest of the southern kingdoms. florence, meanwhile, is ser florence, a former advisor and freddie's royal mistress whose family comes from the eastern kingdoms but grew up in the golden city before deciding she was fed up with her life and ran away to become a knight instead, and then other plot details that include things like anatoly abdicating the throne because he never wanted the responsibility of ruling a kingdom and leaving his wife to take over the responsibility instead as the czarina and her doing so knowing that there are people who depended on them for leadership and guidance (and honestly probably being better at it than he was), molokov secretly plotting to take over the throne for himself (having already earned himself the nickname of the wolf whisperer), freddie regularly competing in the tournaments held in the golden city and being a very capable warrior in his own right (he's big on jousting).

#typing this with a fucked up hand because i got way too excited thinking abt never play to win a pawn aka game of chess #so far most characters and locations have a corresponding game of thrones equivalent that served as its inspiration #like how molokov is basically petyr baelish #or how florence leaves to become a knight like brienne of tarth does #the eastern kingdoms are very much patterned after winterfell and the wall in addition to its real world equivalent of russia #as well as other slavic countries #while the western kingdoms are patterned after king's landing and the vale and highgarden #as well as mountains and forests and some of the deserts found here in the states #i still don't have Everything but i also just haven't worked on this in Awhile #but it's definitely one of my favourite aus i've ever worked on tbh #answered #nickclose #chess the musical #never play to win a pawn tag #the tirolean spa (my brain) once again has the chess boys in it #i also have a drawing of knight!anatoly somewhere if i can find it 👀

What a phenomenal game.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was everything I wanted and more. As an OG fan of Jet Set Radio, and a diehard fan of Future, this was just...beautiful.

Which was really disappointing tbh.#The soundtrack is good but Nakanuma...he just hits SO much differently.#maybe Im looking at it through nostalgic glasses or the ads got to me but his songs not being there until the last few hours of the game?#still the game is fucking awesome and worth the asking price theres so much replayability imo. Gengar strikes me as someone who knows he’s a piece of shit and is trying to embrace that. Emphasis on trying. Obviously there’s the fact that he called his group “Team Meanies” and bragged at people’s doorsteps that he was evil and gonna take over the world and stuff. He terrorizes Pokemon into joining his team and doesn’t even seem to respect his own teammates. The entire fugitive arc is him trying to scapegoat the hero for his crimes.

But two things stick out to me.

The first is that Gengar seems to think that being selfish and cruel is human nature.

In the dream eater sequence, Gengar talks about exposing hero and “showing what they’re like inside” purely on the grounds of them being human. I think that’s pretty self explanatory. He thinks that all humans are bad people. He’s speaking from experience, because if HE’S bad then surely all humans are, right?

The second is that Gengar… honestly comes across as self loathing to me, even if he tries to own how shitty he is. Just look at his dialogue during the crowd scene.

This dialogue combined with this expression come across as cracks of guilt to me. He knows what he did and he knows exactly what he’s doing now. And despite everything, I think he hates that. He hates what he did to Gardevoir. He knows it was horrible of him to abandon her after sacrificing herself for him. And he hates that. But he can’t admit it.

I think Gengar trying to take pride in his cruelty is deflection and denial. He couldn’t help what he did to Ninetales and Gardevoir, it was inevitable! He’s human, and all humans are selfish. He can’t change or control that. All he can do is double down over and over while trying (and failing) to escape the consequences. He can’t fathom the idea that a human can be a good person, so he’s not even gonna try to change.

And he hates hero because they are the antithesis to that statement. They want and try to do good wherever they can, and Gengar can’t believe that after learning that they’re human. He projects onto them, insisting that they have to be a bad person, because they’re human. Just like him. He can’t be good. They shouldn’t be good. Because if being good comes so easily to them, then what does that say about him?

And seeing Gardevoir in hero’s dreams talking about how much she cared for him, with sympathy leaking from hero’s heart, shatters that illusion he shrouded himself in.

#also we all make fun of his team name but even that strikes me as like… him being childish deep down #tbh ive never fully played through his story in the post game i just saw it on youtube years ago #so. my thoughts here might change #gengar is one of those characters that i honestly never cared much for growing up but i appreciate him more every time i replay the game #cause i see more and more angles of his character that i can work with. i dont think i ever gave him enough credit tbh djdjdjf #hes a well written character and while i definitely think that the other 3 villains are stronger that hes still pretty damn good #hes also the only other npc whos a former human which is insane to me tbh #echoed voice #pmd posting

now that my sisters are hooked on playstation gaming bc they got to try it for a bit i’m like guuuuys if we all pool our money we could invest in a ps5 together… (they want to play the fanciest most realistic games from this decade and i want to play a clunky series that’s older than me)

Ugggghh my new job is making me miss all my favourite streamers. And when my streamers are streaming is when I'm drawing. And that's just one of an assortment of reasons why I haven't gotten basically any art done lately sorry
