The Beekeeper's Picnic New Demo is here!

It is 1920, and in a sleepy Sussex village, an elderly beekeeper (who is definitely not the world’s greatest detective… any more) is trying to arrange a very important picnic for his dear friend Watson. The only problem is that a series of pesky mysteries keep getting in the way!

The game Goodbye Volcano High finally comes out tomorrow. Three long years after its initial reveal.

It's a story about cute dinosaur teenagers during the last months before a meteor hits the planet. It has elements of visual novel, point-and-click adventure, and rhythm game (likely among other things not yet revealed). It is animated and voice-acted like a 2D animated movie. The player interacts with the game in many ingenious ways to feel like they are inside the mind of the protagonist, a punk pterodactyl named Fang, as the story unfolds and decisions are made. The music is sweet too.

The developers would love to reach 50 thousand Steam wishlists before the game releases. They are very close to reaching it. If you are interested, here is the link:

The Passenger is a 380,000-word interactive cosmic horror novel by Jime Rolón. It's entirely text-based, without graphics or sound effects, and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

When your eldritch existence is threatened by another unthinkable creature, you find yourself jumping dimensions to escape your ghastly fate. Safe for now, your moment of respite is short-lived as you realize you're stuck on Earth, trapped inside a dumb human larva, and with no clue of how much energy you'll need to leave this horrible place behind.

Twenty-six years later you're still stranded on an absurd planet, you have a mom and a sister, and a job delivering baked goods. Not only that, but the creature that almost ate you all those years ago never really stopped looking for you. However, there’s no way it will pinpoint your actual location… right?

You can play the first three chapters of the game for free here. The rest of the game will be available on Thu, Dec 29.

My Steam NextFest Top Picks!

It's time for Steam NextFest, which my cosy Sherlock Holmes point and click game The Beekeeper's Picnic is taking part in! It's an event where you can play lots of demos for upcoming games, and watch lots of livestreams!

You can watch my livesteam here (which full disclosure, is not always actually live because I am a busy person and a little shy, but I hope it's interesting anyway.

Grimshire is on my wishlist since its a farming game but with a serious element to it. You play as a rabbit escaping whatever ended your previous home and have to help a little village survive. I like more interesting farm games like this and can't wait to play it when it comes out!
