okay, here's what went down

first of all, i just have to say i love coming to kpop concerts alone because fans are just so friendly. i know stan spaces online get a bad reputation (and rightfully so) but i always manage to meet such lovely people at kpop shows so i really appreciate the people that kept me company in line because studio PAV is SO fucking strict about phones 😤

so everything is a blur because i really wanted to record it all in my notes app but they were moving things along like clockwork so there was no time to even sneak it out.

but shout out to the girl who asked rie about deep sexy at that one libido fansign. we actually stood next to each other in line and she told me that was her and i told her how her tweet may have changed my entire worldview about rie lol. chatted for hours so i wasn't bored out of my mind.

but anyway moving on to the fanchat. i thought i could be chill because i'd met them before but no i was not chill. i was shaking.

i rememberrd to bring an album this time so i could get it signed instead of a flimsy poster (good call because i accidentally ripped it 🥲) and i brought a sharpie so i could write my name on my badge. i tabbed pages before i left home so each member could sign the inside so they each wrote my name, but i kind of wish i had them sign the cover because it took up a good bit of time to spell out my name. i don't know if it was that or if PAV shortened the time to sit with them because it went by so much faster than last time. last year i kept running out of things to say but this time, i felt like i got cut short when i wanted to keep talking 😔

first was mill. i just love him so much and he is so pretty and stunning and his eyes are so big and sparkly. i asked him about if he did any fun things in atlanta and he went on about how atlanta had the best steak ever (first rie last year, now him...and i don't even eat meat) and they also had drinks thursday night. at least he was gesturing about drinks but they moved me along quickly. no marriage proposals this time, thank god.

next was nine. i'll be honest, i haven't been the biggest fan of the blonde on him but it looks super duper good in person. i wanted to compliment him but i just blanked so i asked the same thing about if he did anything fun in atlanta. he just said he slept and rolled around in bed, and i felt such kinship in that moment. i told sleeping is my favorite thing to do (not even lying). i had my nagongie with me but no time to pull him out before i had to move on 🥲

kb was next. i was trying to find his page in my album but he had already found it but i was like redirecting him to the wrong page so he gently pushed my hand away so that was awkward and embarrassing. but he didn't sign my name so we managed a full conversation:

me: hi, how are you?

kb: i'm good but i'm hungry.

me: oh, you didn't eat lunch?

kb: no, i ate lunch but i'm still hungry.

i told him i hadn't eaten much but the venue served food on the rooftop and there's restaurants nearby so he asked for recommendations. i told him about a couple of bars that i'd never actually been to but were on my list of places to check out. i don't remember if he said i should go there after the show or we should go there after the show but i'd like to think it was the former. and then as i was getting up and moving to the next member i realized i left my poster in front of nine so i had to reach past him to grab it. embarrassing once again 🫠

next was junji. his english has improved a lot in a year! no awkward silences with him. he had a ponytail and i really wanted to compliment his hair too but he carried the conversation instead. he asked how many times i had seen them and i told him it was my 3rd time and that i had seen him in atlanta and san francisco. then he said thank you and grabbed both of my hands and said "you're my lyon" 😵‍💫 he asked me something else afterwards but i don't remember what it was or what i said lol. i was too frazzled after that. i wish he had fistbumped me instead.

then it was yoojung. i wasn't too stunned to speak this time, yay! somehow i felt really confident with him. i complimented his handwriting while writing my name because it was so small and dainty, and i told him he looked best in the bedazzled jacket and i wish i had some rhinestones on mine too. he said he really loves denim jackets but the rhinestones hanging from his sleeves were annoying because they kept hitting and dragging the table. not in those words exactly but it was the exact sentiment.

last was the menace. and yes, the menace was menacing. instead of sitting across, rie moved his chair to the end of the table he could sit next to you, which i was actually grateful for because the eye contact felt less intense that way. he immediately told me "hey baby, come on, don't be scared." i told i'm not scared because i wasn't. i was ready to throw down with this dude. he asked me my name and i showed it to him on my badge and he said "okay, i'll write korean." ??? i told him i could read korean but if i couldn't then what? then he asked me who was my bias and i thought WHY would he ask me that and that's when everything i worked so hard at to build up over the past year went crumbling down. i suddenly had a mental crisis so i said everybody. he kept pushing me to tell the truth. and i kept insisting it was everybody so he said, then who's your bias today, so i told him it was him. so he said okay like he knew i was lying but didn't push it further. then he asked me what was my favorite song and i had been hoping for this question since the tour was first announced because i had to let them know the people want dOra maar KOREAN VERSION. and then they made me leave but as i stood up his eyes went RIGHT to my nagongie and my nine PC in my bag and went "oh, your bias is nine." WHY WOULD HE SAY THAT TO ME? WHY WOULD HE CALL ME OUT LIKE THAT WITH NO WAY TOO DEFEND MYSELF? can't stand this man.

but i'm glad i lied because he asked the same thing to everyone else and he would GRILL them about why they liked their bias. EVERYTHING'S A GAME TO THIS MAN. so yeah. be warned. prepare yourselves.

hi-touch was hi-touch. nothing special there. rie disarming me with his intense eye contact again but what's new. their hands were cold and dry and my hands felt sticky from the humidity. i was so jealous.

for the concert, i managed to get a great spot. not barricade which i didn't care for anyway but still very close and right in the center too. the concert itself was great minus the short setlist and the lack of bOss. completely and totally devastating to me. i had been looking forward to it so much since they did it in seoul. the did a dopamine rock remix which is so much better than the original. give me the lOve, bitxx is now my new favorite choreo. they did a solo medley which was fun because we got all the solos this time. i think at one point junji missed his cue to join rie on stage so they kept laughing and then he gave rie a piggyback ride. libidO english version is maybe slightly better than dOra maar english version but still 👎 i've been screeching the korean versions in my car for years, why must groups do this? thank god they put ballads in the setlist. the nonstop choreo last year was a concern for me but we got mirage and O and i completely flipped out. i got so emotional watching nine during the ballads because he REALLY felt the lyrics he was singing. also i saw both his nipples in person. the whole time i'm thinking about how i loved the draping of his jacket and then...there they were. and then kb had to follow suit 🙃 also i thought i was safe not being at barricade but rie managed to still make way too much eye contact multiple times. THE ENCORE WAS THE BEST, LITERALLY TAILOR-MADE FOR ME. we got OOO me (!!!!!!! FINALLY), blOssOM, and angel. i was genuinely so upset when it ended because it got SO hype at the end like we were at a festival. and kb and mill were showering the audience with their water bottles and it completely ruined my hair before the snapshots but now i'm thinking we need a waterbomb festival in this city.

so then anyway the snapshot process was annoying. they did premium first and made standard folks wait until they were done and they were still adamant about no phones but i was bored as hell but everyone else i was talking to had either left or had premium. didn't feel like starting up a conversation with anyone new because i was getting people-d out by then. i only got nine and yoojung since i got the rest of the members last year. when i got up to nine, i tripped right in front of him and he reached out and caught me 😵‍💫 nothing monumental happened with yoojung, thank goodness. the photos turned out well so i left but i was beginning to wish i had also bought a mill ticket but oh well.

Am frustrated.

Body is being stupid and I dont know what to do about it.

I got an email reminder for an appointment i didnt know i had. But my sister was gonna make me one anyway, so she asked what that was about. Its for my depo shot. But it wasnt with my primary. Turns out she kind-of sort-of left. She's flitting about practices so they dont actually take appointments for her. Which means i need a new provider. 😫

And what a shitty-ass time for one. Because I'm still having migraines and Neuro was a bust so now I dont know what to do.

Also my sister cant take me to that appointment that day, and id just reschedule with the clinic closer but if they make me do a new provider, they may decide "oh btw, you havent had an exam, we wont give your shot until then!" I swear to god, if they try that shit I'm gonna shove a speculum up THEIR HOO-HA. Violently. 😤

Theres a clinic i went to like 2 years ago for an exam but i dont remember who tf it was with, i need someone else to figure out who it was. Apparently my clinic never got the release from them so they dont know. 🙄 which means as far as they know i haven't officially had one in like 4 years or some shit.

Stupid gyno exam is one of those big triggers for me, i need mucho mental prep and someone I trust to do it. Possibly a sedative. I cant just walk in and they be like "hey, why not now?" No. Gtfo away from me D< You bitches gave me PTSD.

But seriously, this migraine and fatigue shit is getting so old.. (Oh, and did I mention my steak has been giving me palpitation problems? Ugh) And now all this fuckery..

I take all my drugs and I try to eat the good stuff and not too much of the bad stuff and I try to do the Things. Why my body still gotta be such a bitch? D:

And why is the universe trying to take away my doctor whom I loves? Sure she foists me off to the specialists but she's home base 🥺 I need her to keep all this shit tied together!

Wench: I mean, I think her personality was just… shifting. She'd lost the demon, so she wasn't as corrupted by power, but she was still questing for Howl's heart. I do think that her proximity to power restored her a bit to her earlier self (and when she was smoking the cigar she apparently got from Suliman), which is why you noticed her being a bit more her at times when she was near Howl… but it's all within her normal character

Jezebel: Ok fair!

Wench: As for the things I was saying I'd explain now, btw... They keep foreshadowing the reveal about his heart. Like, there are blatant bits (e.g. her earlier note saying something along the lines of "You who swallowed a falling star, o' heartless man, your heart shall soon be mine.") But there were smaller things. Like the Witch being so focused on Calcifer, talking so regularly about "oh, what a pretty fire." I'm sure it was partly because the fire *was* pretty, but when you know that she was questing for Howl's heart, it's got a second layer.

Jezebel: Ooooo! I thought it was just her being old and senile ☠️

Wench: Also, the heart reveal renders other things increasingly significant too. Like the metaphors of the Witch trying to get at his heart, and it burning her when she tried... something something she tried to steal his heart and control it but it didn't work, whereas Sophie had been connecting with it from the very beginning. Or him telling Sophie that the way to get HIS RING to work and lead her home was to call out to Calcifer with her heart... Which was his heart... Connect the dots :)

Jezebel: Oooooooooh 💕💕💕🥺🥺

Wench: Also, an interesting thing... Like I said, the book is quite different. It's one of the few adaptations, actually, that changes A Bunch about the original story but I just... can't be that mad about it. Because the story isn't the same, but it's awesome anyway.

Jezebel: Ooooh? Interesting :)

Wench: Yup! And one such example is that they explicitly state what's going on with Sophie. Sophie isn't just this ordinary girl. Or, well... She is, but she isn't. She was a hatter, like in the film, and she usually talked to the hats. It's explained that she would tell them what their owners would be like as she made them. (One example is when she tells a hat that its owner would have a heart of gold and someone would fall in love with them for it)

Jezebel: That’s adorable thoooo

Wench: And whatever she said would come true. But she was also highly determined to be the Eldest Daughter. Which means she'd stay at home, tend to the business, never ever ever seek any adventure, etc. So she has this magic... and nonetheless sets about using it to have nothing happen to her ever, quite without knowing it.

Jezebel: Ack! So the exact thing she doesn’t want is exactly what happens ☠️☠️🤣🤣

Wench: Precisely! And that magic is the explanation for a lot of what goes on in the story. It's why the scarecrow comes to life, for example. And it's also the reason she's able to separate Howl/Calcifer without either dying. In the book, she asks if she can separate them and Calcifer says that he thinks he'd die if anyone else did it, but he knows she's talked life into things before so, if anyone could do it, she could. And she outright says "Have another thousand years" before pinching them apart so Calcifer will survive.

Jezebel: So the scarecrow’s not a prince in the book?

Wench: I don’t think so. The scarecrow and the prince are two separate entities, and the prince has a far more gruesome fate. I don’t fully remember enough to say more, but I’m pretty sure they’re separate. She talks them both to life, though, so in that sense, it kinda works.

Jezebel: Ooooop! Well damn! I see! Oh, and, as for endpoint… Ummmmm I have forgotten how to endpoint. Halp!

Wench: Give thoughts. Did you like it?

Jezebel: Ummm I LOVED it. It was so gooooood!

Wench: Aight… Elaborate on that :)

Jezebel: And cute and confusing sometimes but also sad and then happy. Also why was he a bird man? I think I missed that part

Wench: It was just one of his spells. It helped him fight the largely air-based battle. But it was an anthropomorphic spell, and he ran the risk of not recalling how to switch back each time he did it

Jezebel: Ohhhhh. Ummmm… Did it ever explain Sophie’s cure being broken or was it ever broken?

Wench: Ah, right, so… complicated. First off: the Witch's deal with the demon thing was basicallyyyyy that she got the power to cast curses but couldn't uncurse them. Or at least, I think that's it, and that's how I've interpreted it. So she couldn't change Sophie back. I thinkkk, in large part, Sophie was eventually talking herself into the curse. Like I said --- and as she's shown in the movie --- she's very doubtful and not-confident throughout the story… And she also had this magical power that let her control reality, within reason. So, basically, she was expecting herself to be an old woman, and thus she was. That's why she was young whenever she wasn't consciously focused on the fact that "oh, yeah, I'm old" (e.g. while she was asleep, when she'd woken up but was more focused on what was going on with Howl and his nest than what he was doing, etc). And whenever she feels more confident/less like she's not worth much, the spell wanes further. So, whenever the Markl calls her "family," whenever she's dwelling on love for Howl, etc. And then, at the end, she's still got the silver hair because technically she's still cursed (or, at least, that's how I interpret it), but she's confident in who she is/where she's going/who she's with, so she's perpetually talking herself out of the curse.

Jezebel: Ahhh! Ok that makes sense! I was like…. Have they forgotten ma’am is cursed ☠️🤣

Wench: Also, bit of fun fact, parallel, etc… Howl tells her, at the end, that her hair is like starlight. And Calcifer was a falling star who was holding custody of his heart. So Sophie at the end of the movie is the new bearer of his heart 😭

3.56pm. I am back at the house my loves.....

I swear I have never met someone who can eat like a hog at a food trough then demand to sit there for +1hrs. Then complain too much time spent at the grocery store. Especially when not buying "food." But Rx, milk, water, & tortilla chips. Jimney cripes!!!

Me, I go run errands & get something to eat on the way home. I will go into a place to order food, but I rarely sit down & eat. Wastes too much of my time. Or. Makes sure I have "fixin's" for meals. Sammiches, salads, steaks, casseroles, etc.. just me.

Now back to work because hog has me so frustrated I wanna ring his neck & hit him upside the head with a fryin pan!! Argh!

my first and only? (2:19 I think he edited putting in the word “first” 😑😤 he keeps messing with me) incubus spiritual husband wants me to believe we have @ lease [least 855 am pdt 12 November 22] 3 children together, & the oldest might be around 21 years old now, & another close in age to the oldest, & the youngest born about 4 years old & another one on the way.

2:06 p.m. I am hesitant to believe him. Seeing is believing. It seems these incubus have a way of doing things with us without us finding out. I read on Wikipedia that when an incubus comes 2 u, he might paralyze u for a while. Back in 2015, I remember not being able 2 move, & felt like something could have been on top of me weighing me down, in a half sleep kind of state & having nightmares that made me want 2 scream but no sound would come out of my mouth when I tried. It felt awful. It happened multiple times. Once before opening my eyes I felt something go a little ways inside of me & out seconds later(& I remembered I cried a little when I felt it) & then he? quickly touched my lips (eyes still closed). Another day after I woke up & sat up? The hangers in my closet started moving & it scared me - I jumped up & ran out of the room yelling/screaming. When I went back I found nothing there, but in this same closet there was a cut out in the floor- an under the apartment crawl space for Comcast to go into. I had kept a small crate of credit card statements in the closet, & when I reviewed the files it seemed like some statements went missing.

2:17 p.m. I don’t know if there was a public way into that crawl space. I didn’t have the courage 2 crawl into it.

Dating Scout is a mess in a the best way. I mean that with the most love humanly possible.

He has such a huge heart of gold, sometimes a little too sarcastic but ultimately?? A sweetheart, you can’t help but love him.

His love is damn near endless. Ngl he does have wandering eyes, but literally you are the only person on his mind. He would never stray from you.

side note: this has been sitting in my drafts for weeks and I’m by no means proud of it but I’m just posting this til I can finish my demon!katsuki fic for you guys

Very polite young man, makes sure to dress appropriately yes this means you had to give him a list of clothing items he absolutely could not wear around your family unless he wanted to be known as “croc’s boy” for the rest of eternity and has been practicing his spanish on duolingo for the past week

Will shake everyone’s hand and introduce himself the way he was taught as a child but becomes very flustered when all your tías start kissing his cheek as a greeting

Hits it off with your uncle’s almost immediately, they even trust him to watch over the grill on his own while they go off and disappear for the next hour or so

He’s too polite to say no but is definitely freaking out the entire time because it’s too much responsibility for the poor guy and he doesn’t want to make a fool of himself

Will guard the grill with his life and even learned to marinate steak in beer from one of your tíos

Overall experience: 8/10 could bring him again but please don’t leave him alone with your uncles, he can’t handle the responsibility of watching over the grill

Doesn’t want to be here at first, big social gatherings aren’t his thing and he’s not used to seeing so many kids run around

He’s wearing boots and a matching belt with a buckle that’s obnoxiously big, a true vaquero thanks to yours truly you refused to let him embarrass you in front of your family with his stupid saggy pants

Greetings are odd for him, takes everything in him not to scream everyone’s head off when they come up to hug him but ultimately… he thinks it’s kinda nice to receive such a warm welcome not that he’ll ever admit it out loud of course

Practically drools at the sight of the food table(s), and before you know it he’s eating everything in sight, he’s never seen this much protein in his life and best believe he’s taking advantage of it

Pesters Kirishima at the grill and begs him to let him grab a piece of meat fresh off the grill but Kirishima refuses to let down your uncle and shoos him away

Overall experience: 7/10 a bit stiff at first but he means well, eats a bit too much and gets a lot of odd looks because of it but lowkey fell in love with you while dancing with you that night

d. kaminari

Walks in like he’s known everybody for years but gets a little shy when your tias make comments on how good looking he is

Quickly realizes he’d much rather spend his time in the jumper than chatting with the adults, no offense to your family he just doesn’t want to talk about sports

Once he’s got two cans of Fanta Orange in his system and a few tacos, this guy is bouncing off the walls with energy and tips over the bounce house with your cousins

Forms a little army of children and commands them to annoy Bakugou, who unfortunately was told to be on his best behavior and that meant not tossing a four-year old half way across the yard

First in line for cake and helps himself to all the flan he can get without getting yelled at by you or Bakugou

Overall experience: 7.5/10 pretty harmless guy who likes to have fun, though the family does think he’s a bit weird for hanging out with the kids

She’s having the time of her life

Knows how to party and appreciates the fact that your family does as well

Doesn’t mind that she doesn’t understand the lyrics to the songs that are playing, if she can shake some ass to the beat then she is happy

Is very good at dancing el caballo dorado and is the only one who lasts through the entire song much to your tía who previously held the title’s dismay

All your cousins think she’s very pretty and ask if she’s secretly a princess, to which she obviously tells them yes

Overall experience: 9/10 very fun girl to party with and wishes you’d bring her back soon cus she’s got some new moves she wants to show off

h. sero

Everybody loves this guy, he’s got charm, a great smile, and plenty of chisme to share

Spends the entire time chatting with your tias about what your friend group gets up to and any embarrassing stories

Will help serve food and always refills people’s drinks, somehow gets appointed the role of bartender as well as dj

Another man who can dance, pulls some dramatic move just to make you nervous and smirks at you like a true asshole you secretly love it though

Stays after the party to help clean up and knows better than to mix the recycling with the garbage

Overall experience: 10/10 please bring him back oh my god your family is already booking dates for your future wedding
