some more Doggust participation for you. And I got some more super cute stationery. If my husband came home and saw all these pens all of a sudden...well he wouldn't do anything. But I'd like to think Id get a weird side-eye because what am I going to do with it all? I don't journal and I don't like writing grocery lists even..but they come in such pleasing candy-like designs. They're so cute. I actually want to try to do a sketchbook challenge in which I use all these stationery pens. Probably not as like a full illustration but like..a thousand possum doodles in pastel colors.

otherwise I have some sort of headcold. I hope to heavens if we move one day that all my allergy problems would be solved. Its getting to be that time of year where it rains every afternoon and I think the weather must be aggravating something (or I have mold..who knows). But yesterday I had the full on body aches and malaise and I felt like I needed to wear winter clothes even though it was friggen sweltering outside. Walking my dog I felt awful. My nose was also hilariously running like a faucet. Like zero control. Just faucet down my face. Couldn't do art because I was not even dripping..it was like csf leak out the face. I didn't get any sleep the previous night at all. Just couldn't breathe. So I was tired too. I didn't know if I was going to feel better or worse today so I called in. I actually do feel better today but my lymph nodes are swollen. Still have runny faucet nose. Its fine, I don't need a paycheck..I have stationery.

I am trying to paint. But face falling off on top of coming off of that massive diamond painting project and then me choosing a subject matter of plants when I have zero desire to ever draw plants has me going..meh.

I did turn on Horizon Forbidden West yesterday and played it to get through the title screen because I didn't know what else to do with my day.

you know its funny I was in the grocery store the other day going "should I keep soup on hand? I got sick that one time and regret no soup....nah" and didn't get any. Now I kinda regret no soup.

Does anyone happen to know how long it takes to get a customer service response from stationery pal? My order was missing an item and their phone number doesnt seem to be working and i already emailed them

i manifested a package arriving!! *with picture proof*

just so yall know im only adding picture proof bc some people in this community have trust issues and cant take a loablr's word for it when they say they manifested something. and im not tryna get cancelled so there will be pictures.

okay, so two days ago i was like "im bored and i don't have anything to do rn, plus i want my package already so im just gonna enjoy it in my imagination." i was also worried abt it not coming before school starts because i think the online shop might be from another country? i decided to use my dear diary method and wrote about how i got the package i ordered! here's what i wrote:

dear diary,

AAAA!!! my stationerypal package arrived this morning! i didnt get to open it up yet, because we were just about to go to a museum, and i wanted to take my time unboxing the stuff. ANYWAYS im so excited to use all my new stationery!

then i just imagined using my new highlighters, people complimenting my cute stationery, unboxing the package, etc. that was all i visualized because for some reason i was having a difficult time visualizing that day, so i just affirmed something along the lines of "i'm so glad my package arrived" a few times.

that was all i did that day, and from then on whenever i thought of the package i just thought "yea i already got it" and remembered writing a diary entry about it.

so like i said it took about 2 days to manifest it into my 3d, which wasnt even that important to me anymore but it's still pretty cool to me. i did the diary entry on sunday, and then today (tuesday) my mom brought in the mail and my package had arrived!!

yall probably dont care about this but heres what i got:

so yea my final advice would be just to fulfill yourself in imagination, it was fun to write that little diary entry! dont worry about it manifesting in the 3d, i just shared because this is one of the first times i've manifested something into the 3d and i was kinda proud of myself.

So Stationerypal was super cool and sent me a box of artist things 8) I've been really wanting to draw with alcohol markers again and that may be something I'll do this weekend.

Id also really like to make an artist christmas wish list video this weekend as well but I'm not showing my face like all the cool youtubers do it. I just want to talk about the supplies D: and I don't know how to film that.

also I caved and joined Mastodon although I SWEAR I had already signed up for it ages ago but my account is either no longer there or I've made 2. I actually kinda like the design of Mastodon but with the sheer number of social media websites I don't know how to keep everything organized. I primarily want to keep things art related but I do occassionally want to talk about my every day life. Like my husband this morning made a cup of coffee with the coffee cup upside down in his sleepy daze. I thought it was funny. I do try not to look at follower counts on my social medias because in the end they don't mean anything for me but I do notice every time I post something about my real life I lose multiple followers. Which is fine. You retain the right to keep your feed as you want but it does make you feel a sense of "oh my, guess I shouldnt post about me here" so I don't know if I should even dare post random tidbits about myself on mastodon or not....

I also keep seeing inkblot appear and reappear. I have had an inkblot since it was released for beta but I keep forgetting about it. Honestly cant figure out what my log in is on anything but my cellphone. And then weirdly enough as well I'm thinking about signing up for Furaffinity, just to have a portfolio there but not to really participate.

This is also my last week of work. Tomorrow is my last day. Next week I have to start packing.

okok i keep getting people asking where i get my stickers SO. heres a list of my fav stores. all of these ship to canada btw and a few of them are canadian so fear not canadian mutuals.

i would recommend buying from their independent sites as opposed to their etsys due to etsy not being great for creators.

ReJoyce: i spend so much money here its UNREAL. theyve got all sorts of different kinds of stickers + some storage options. i got the ones i posted today here.

Punimello: (etsy available as well) small business that i ADORE. ive bought from here a bunch and theyre always so sweet. the stickers are created by the shop owner and theyre so cute its unreal. also i believe theyre canadian!

StarPOPShop (etsy available as well): more focused on sticker storage, photocard holders, etc, but they DO have some really good sticker storage stuff here so im including them bc you gotta have somewhere to store the stickers

unicorneclipse: (etsy available as well) ADORABLE memo pads, sticky notes and stickers. i personally love the daily planner memopads and the day of the week journal stickers. they have a very early windows / early tech + nature theme and its really fun. lots of bright colours.

stationerypal: high quality stationery store! theyve got a lot of really well made basics and i highly reccomend them for pens, pencils, erasers etc. that youll be using in your daily life.

stationerystash: my go-to place for any sanrio stationery. very very cute and the packaging is cute as well!! theyve also got storage and its really cute omg
